I adore this series!
This all starts off with a slam(quite literally) and keeps you drawn in from there. I was ready to see what was next and felt like I never quite knew what was going to happen.
Evelyn is a wonderful character with an array of feelings that you can totally understand while reading what is going on.
Patrick is great and when you get more of his backstory, he becomes even more relatable.
Them together is so fun.
James is supportive of Patrick and then you get to learn more about him and boy is it amazing. He takes his job seriously and wants to do his best in building the business. He’s trying hard to resist his attraction to Tessa, but with Patrick and Evelyn egging him on, it’s difficult.
Tessa is also wonderful. She is goal driven and doesn’t want to let anything get in her way.
From mystery to thriller, romance to comedy, this series covers it all and kept me interested the whole way through. I would recommend this series to anyone!

Another cute tale in the story of Detective Dylan. Who stole the trophy? Dylan and his friends try to solve the problem. I enjoy this series because it realyy does a nice job of helping teach kids to problem solve. I read this series to my grandson and he loves trying to figure out who did it. We follow the trail just like Dylan. It has a nice flow to the story with great characters set up. I love the diversity of the characters. It is nicely set up for its target audience. We can’t wait for the next one.

I really enjoyed this book. Although it’s a short MM paranormal romance it’s an intriguing story. The Gods give you a second chance at life as long as you find a mate that accepts you in three days or back to purgatory. I like the characters and the chemistry between the characters. The story flowed well and was fast paced. I only wish it was a longer book and I look forward to reading more stories by this author.

The Trouble with Possibilities, the debut novel by Nancie Abuhaidar, turned out to be a surprising little package that tugged at my heartstrings.
It is a contemporary women’s fiction story (chick lit) with heartache, rediscovering yourself, finding where you belong, finding love unexpectedly, new beginnings, family, friendship, following your dreams, angst, emotion, drama, love, loss, regrets, hope, possibilities, complex/realistic characters, adventure, and is a journey of discovery.
Sometimes it takes a tragedy to shove us in a new direction, and that’s exactly how Del finds herself winging her way to Africa, on a mission to start her life over. Landing on the vast continent is only the start of her new adventure… what ensues makes for a heartwarming read.

Holland now has a choice, Chandler who seems to good to be true and beyond perfect or Asher who Holland has more in common with and actually knows more about her. Who will she choose?

Gadrella the witch is tired of all the same things. Brooms, frog toes, pointy hate and black clothes! Nothing ever changes for witches. Until Gadrella makes the change. Everyone scared of change at first. Then believe. What do you want to be for Halloween?

My 6 year old daughter had me read this to her twice immediately! Her favorite Halloween story! She loved the costume making and got the awwww for the bunny! She didn’t want to story to stop which should give this a lot more stars than the 5!! Loved this book and her reactions! (now if only I can pronounce the names)

This was a super cute book, and the kids absolutely loved it. the pictures were super cute and went really well with the story line and are very great illustrated. My kids loved this book right from the beginning and thought it was funny listening to the kids run around chasing a pig to catch it. They really hoped the bully didn’t win thou and were super excited on the outcome of the story. Angela really shows how you can stand up for yourself and all about patience and understanding. This was a great kid’s books.

It’s the story of young Alice who is a great archer and she is trying to convince her parents to let her compete for a scholarship that is highly sought after. While competing Alice and her friends somehow enter another portal and all kinds of strange things begin to happen. The story is full of challenges, mazes, mysteries, magic, mages, friendships, trust issues and more as Alice and her friends try to find their way back home. Alice is very much the teenage girl that is moody, wild and doesn’t think before she acts which can be problematic in lots of situations. Alice has to determine who she can really trust and if her friends are really her friends. When and if they find their way back home will they still be friends? Read this amazing young adult fantasy to find out!

It a great kids book to teach them about streams and rivers and how important they are to humans and animals. It teaches that we all get water from them in more ways than one and that we can also get food from them. It also teaches kids the importance of rivers and streams as a whole to the world. With its beautiful pictures it grabs kids attention and helps them realize how important they are to our world. My 6 year old nephew loved this book and it would make a great gift for the youngster in your life. This author is becoming one of our favorite children’s authors.

This was our first venture into this author’s work, and I couldn’t resist giving it a try. I am so glad I grabbed it because my kiddos and I had an absolute blast reading it! From the moment we opened the book, we found ourselves bopping along to the fantastic rhyming storyline. I’ve noticed that my youngest pays much better attention when there is rhyming involved. The illustrations added an extra layer of fun that tickled our funny bones. With each page, we find Luca Magoo exploring a new situation that involves an outcome of eating glue. I loved the rhythm and flow of the story, and it felt like the perfect length for both of my kids to enjoy. Overall, I think this would make a lovely addition to any home library, classroom, or daycare! I can’t wait to explore more from this author.

The Trouble With Possibilities by Nancie Abuhaidar. I loved this book. It’s the first book by this author I’ve read and it most definitely won’t be my last. It’s the story of Delaney or Del as she goes by, whose life has taken a tragic turn. Her husband has died unexpectedly and even though their marriage wasn’t a happy one it still hurts. Her kids are grown and she finds herself sort of lost so she decides to follow her dream and move to Africa. She has always wanted to work in a school in Africa and is so excited except when she gets there and meets her boss he is a major jerk. She is also smitten with the CEO of the project and what if there is a possibility of a new romance? She decides to throw herself 100% into her job and finds a lot of joy in it. The kids have their own problems she tries to help them with. Del has her own insecurities and is trying to overcome them. Will she be able to let her insecurities go and be the woman she knows she can be. This book was such a joy. I’m a woman of similar age and my child is grown so I could relate a lot to this character. I can’t wait to read another book by this author!

The author of this book is new to me. From the beginning, the story captured my interest. Trinity Redhawk always wanted to be a rodeo queen. But as a teen she had to give up many friendships and potential boyfriends. As she finds herself in her last year of being the rodeo queen, she’s looking forward to being a strong woman and finding a more normal life.
The story is easy to read and follow. The author did a great job of world building and I could imagine the rodeo arena, the rodeo royalty, and spectators. I didn’t realize the book was part of a series. I had no problem following the story even if I didn’t know the names of all the characters.

This is a series that I have enjoyed reading from the first book in the series. This one is just as great as the previous books in this series. I enjoyed reading this book and found it to be engaging. This is a well written story that is full of romance and hard to put down. I enjoyed how I was pulled into the story from the start. The characters add so much to the story that it makes it easy and entertaining to read. I enjoyed watching the growth of these characters. What will happen when you kiss the boss’s daughter? This is something you don’t want to miss. This is a great book addition to this series. I highly recommend this book and this series.

This is my first book by this author which I enjoyed reading. I enjoyed this author’s writing style and his ability to pull me into the story from the start. This is a well written story about what happens when you buy a house that has a UFO underneath and a mad scientist. This has been described as a soap opera in hell. I enjoyed the creativeness of the characters and what they add to the story. I also enjoyed watching their growth throughout the story. This is a fast paced, hard to put down story and one you don’t want to miss. I found this book easy and entertaining to read. I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to seeing what is next for this author. I highly recommend this book.

This is such an interesting story and a unique way to approach it. Even though the story is completely different, it gave me the same vibes I got from reading things like Animal Farm, Lord of the Flies and Hunger Games. And that was just from the description, so I knew I was in for a great read.
The author has clearly given a lot of thought to this story and it shows in the way it was written. Every part of it was well developed and the story really drew me in. For me, this was an unexpected read but one I enjoyed from start to finish. I am looking forward to the others in the series.

The characters has so much going on with their lives and at times it felt like it would be impossible for them to overcome it. I loved the way the author told their story and how everything felt so connected.
This overall story was really good. I found it was interesting to read as the characters developed and the book was well written. This was a thoroughly enjoyable story and a great addition to the series.

This is the first book in the War Bunny Chronicles. This was a really interesting read, set in a time where humans are extinct and animals have free rein over the world. As a lover of Watership Down I jumped at the chance to read another story about a family of rabbits and their struggle for survival.
My heart cried for Anastasia. Just because she was different and didn’t want to follow the beliefs of the warren she was told she was sick in the head and thrown out of her protective family warren to find her way on her own. The family she had were scared of who is was because she didn’t want to tow the line she wanted to live not just become food for prey.
When she now finds herself kicked out and alone she realises she needs friends to survive.
This is a story about different species coming together and finding a safe space where they can live in harmony.
This is a moving story with links to our world today. It includes issues such as religion, family dynamics and hierarchys and learning to be strong enough to go against things trying to keep us oppressed.
The unique twist of this story being about animals but with them dealing with issues we find ourselves deal with made this story really unique and enjoyable. I look forward to reading more.

Titania is back, but she is no longer the Queen of the Fae, that title died with her the day she fought the dragons and Sonia and the whole kingdom is still in mourning, but she has her cabin in the woods and the one Fae whose love is still true to her, to keep her company. Unfortunately for Titania, a simple life tending animals and fixing up her cabin is not enough and she decides that she must find a way to help her Kingdom.

She is still worried about Sonia and when she finds out that everything she went through and lost to fight her still may have all been for naught as she finds that Sonia left a parting message with the witches that the upper realm of the humans is still in grave danger and that she is more powerful than anyone could ever imagine. Titania knows that she needs to help stop her before she turns on the Fae realm, knowing that most likely the only thing stopping that is the fact that she is dead, to Sonia at least.

This is where Titania has to make a decision, try and save both her Kingdom and the upper realm from the shadows and continue to help the witches stop Sonia and deal with the ramifications, or stay under cover in secrecy and live a simple life with her love? This is another whirlwind adventure while unraveling a mystery and holding on to love, faith and hope in the darkest of times.

Gadrella by Tricia Gardella is a cute little story book that imparts some important messages too. Gadrella the witch has always done what was expected, what the other witches did. But she has always secretly yearned to do things differently. Why do they ALWAYS have to wear black? And ride broomsticks? And make the same yukky brews in their spell cauldrons? Why do their cats always have to be black? And why do witches only have cat companions? So, what happens when Gadrella decides to follow her heart? Get set for a very cute and engaging adventure. The story is accompanied by charming illustrations that are rich, colourful, eye catching, and fun- which really made this little adventure spring to life.
The messages/lessons contained in the story make this a more meaningful read. We learn:
-to be true to yourself/be yourself
-follow your dreams
-do what fulfils you
-use your imagination
-dance to the beat of your own drum/set your own path
-it’s ok to be different
-embrace our differences because they are what make us special
-friendship
-change can be good
A meaningful, engaging, fun, imaginative, and enjoyable children’s picture book.
Looking forward to whatever Tricia Gardella brings us next.

The Man Who Dealt in Death is the first book in the Colton Fen series by Marlena Frank. This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Frank, so I really didn’t know what I should expect from one of her stories, but to be honest I was hooked the moment I read ‘werewolf detective’. I couldn’t one-click the book quick enough, diving in the moment it landed on my Kindle.
This proved to be a cleverly woven paranormal mystery which is set in the ‘wild west’- melding several genres, flawlessly, into a captivating read. With supernatural elements, danger, dramatic developments, tension, intrigue, suspense, cowboys, gunslingers, vampires, werewolves, demons, action, adventure, investigation, politics, agendas, and more- made this a fantastic introduction to Ms. Frank’s work.
Colton Fen is a werewolf detective who is assigned a complex case to unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearance of numerous humans in the small, western town of Peridot. He is used to working alone, but his new boss deems it necessary to assign him a partner, who turns out to be a vampire. Um, yeah- vampires and werewolves are natural enemies…. so you guessed it, things get off to a bit of an awkward start, and it’s not long before danger comes calling, as something evil has its own agenda.

Nothing will stop him from taking what he feels belongs to him by right. The queen will need to do everything in her power to stop him from succeeding. Who can she turn to for help? While the world building and characters were great I do have to agree with a lot of others by saying that you should definitely read the other books in this series first. It did take me a little bit to decipher exactly what was happening, who the main players were, the relationships between characters, and what everyone’s role was to the plot. Once I picked that up it was smooth sailing from there.

Quarterback Keeper is Book 1 in the new Fall Lake Ballers Series and I totally devoured this story!
I am all in…..and this is a perfect touchdown of a book. If you love sports romance with fake dating, secrets, a bit of danger with definite sugar and some spice….I very highly recommend Kylian and Gia’s story. The roller coaster of emotions……I cannot hide the fact of how much I love this book and cannot wait to see what is in store for this series.

What can possibly happen when two complete strangers meet in an unexpected way….. Gia is trying to hide from a secretive past….Kylian is trying to balance life’s demands between college classes, college football, wanting to make it to the NFL, a sick mother and a demanding father. When a plan comes into play and an agreement between Kylian to make his family happy and Gia, who wants only safety….you only believe it is temporary. When lines get blurred and feelings develop but also lurking in the shadows is where the past can ruin everything…..can Kylian and Gia ever believe the possibility in forever?

Ink and Intrigue at the Ivy Inn by Ellen Butler – 4 stars

In 1958 Ariadne Winter is inspiring to become a reporter for a renowned newspaper in a time where it is not common for women. She has been given the chance to write about the Wedding of the Century when a Hollywood starlet is marrying a prince and they only want Ariadne to cover it. Will Adriane get the story she is wanting or will the suspicion guests at Ivy Inn and the dead body start her in the path of her true dreams?

I gave 4 stars because this read was a little slow for me to begin with. I liked how all the characters were suspicious from the start though and how everything added up. No one is innocent when Winter is on the prowl! I was not really expecting who actually did the deed. I would read more of the Adriane Winter mysteries.
