Oh, Hope and Adam, your journey pulled me in and did not want to let me go. I was completely and utterly thrown into a world of grief, love, forgiveness, second chances, and a touch of drama. While yes this is a romance book, it’s not your “normal romance” and I think that is what made me love it so much. Adam and Hope truly is what pulled you in and did not let you go. When I read a good romance, I want to feel the emotions of the main characters, I want to feel emotions myself and I sure did. I highly recommend this book and this author. I was simply blown away by this five-star read and I didn’t want the story to end.

My Murder Year is a YA LGBTQ book full of loss, grief, angst, family drama, suspense, intrigue, and ultimately love. The story centers around the character of teenager Stas who has suffered a lot at the tender age of seventeen. When she discovers her mother’s dead body her life goes into a tailspin. Stas’ father becomes the prime suspect and family members that Stas has never met are determined that she comes to live with each of them. A tug-of-war ensues and family drama escalates as the custody battle over young Stas rages on between them. Uncertain who to trust Stas turns to her new friend Zane for support and comfort as she navigates through her grief. She must also try to figure out who really killed her mother. This was a poignant and emotional tale of overcoming loss and the struggles of adolescence that will leave you reaching for the box of kleenex. The characters were relatable and Stas was someone that I immediately felt a connection to. This book took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and my heart broke for Stas. I highly recommend this book.

When the little girl ends up at Logan’s home…..and finding the little girl’s mom horribly hurt by the hands of an unknown assailant. This is the fourth book in the Central Florida Series and even though they can be read as standalone reads I feel one you’ve read one you will want to read then all. This author does an amazing job of opening the world of BDSM up to the reader in a way that goes deeper than just the sexual kinks. The author shows us the actual relationship side to these types of relationships and how loving and protecting they can be. This story is full of angst, danger, steamy chemistry and a connection to the dom/submissive relationship that can’t be denied. This is Ross and Hadley’s story.
To Ross, Hadley has always been the one who got away. Unable to deal with his feelings he enlisted to get away hoping the time apart would make his feelings less but on his return he finds her planning to go on the run with his brother. As much as he wants to stop her and protect her he knows he has no right to so he let’s her leave.
Fast forward and Ross is moving on but he has never forgotten her and often thinks about her. When Hadley gets in touch with a cry for help Ross knows that this time he will stop her from making a mistake and he will protect her from anything that threatens her.
Hadley has known nothing but pain since leaving all those years ago. Now she finds herself in a unsafe world of a Outlaw MC with her daughter. Knowing she needs to find a way to protect her she reaches out to the only person she knows she can trust. What she didn’t expect was that not only would Ross rescue her daughter but also her as well. Over the years though Hadley had built walls to protect herself and she isn’t so keen to tear them down. The girl Ross fell in love with no longer exists or so she thinks. As their relationship progresses and Ross’s protective, dominant Daddy side comes out will this be just the antidote that Hadley needs to recover and learn to love again. I loved the characters and the way they complimented each other so well.

Oh I love a good holiday read! This is the third book in this series but can be read as a standalone. We follow Riley and Mitch and Riley’s son Dylan. Neither of them are looking for love but seems fate has other plans (doesn’t she always) .
I really enjoyed catching up with the others from the series so far and getting to know Mitch more. This author sure knows how to paint a picture with words I felt like I was right there watching it all happen in real time.

This was a really great book. I love when we get to see their pets and this one is because of a dog who brings 2 people together.
Wynter is trying to save a stray and catches the eye of Caleb with her amazing hair but also her patience. As these 2 take a chance on each other they learn they have another connection with a man who has passed. I loved how this story unfolded I was engaged from start to finish.

This was another great read of Logan, and her suspenseful intriguing seems to always be where the action happens series. This time thou the book hit me a little too hard I think, as someone who has been in the situation as her neighbour with spousal abuse it took me a little bit longer to read then I hoped for. the information on the psychology and mental and how hard these situations can be very true, and I had fond myself putting this book down quite a bit. Getting out of that type of situation is hard and I loved how Logan is so helpful to Lori because so many times people just urn and walk away. The love Logan had for Lori and her daughter was very heart warming. This book was very well written and the way the characters are so well developed in this one was great. This book did keep my attention thou and held me till the end. I can’t wait to read the next one.

I absolutely love how this author makes these books that you could read them as stand alone and not have to read them in order. Even thou there are probably parts that would be clearer if reading the books before, but you won’t feel too lost doing so. This was another great book with Logan and her challenges of being involved in murder and crime. This book really made a great informative story with sea otters that I found very enjoyable. I was hooked right from the beginning just like the others and couldn’t get enough of these stories. Logan is a strong willed, smart, string, courageous women. This book was filled with suspense, mystery, drama, secrets and so much more, that it kept me intrigued the whole time. I felt like I was constantly on the edge of my seat reading this. Really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to drive into the next one.

An entertaining and engaging contemporary romance which had me captivated throughout. This heartwarming romance features a mysterious letter, a secret history shared and a loveable rescued mutt. Both Wynter and Caleb have given up on love but that was before they had met each other. Wynter used to think of herself as a female Robin Hood, as a professional fundraiser working for nonprofits she enjoyed schmoozing with wealthy people, in order to talk them into donating their money to good causes. However, having fallen for a charming liar both her heart and her career were shattered, and she’s now sworn off all men. Meanwhile, Ex-Navy SEAL Caleb is fine with one night stands but he’s not looking for love. Following his last military tour, he feels that parts of him are dead, including his heart and he’s done with trying to be anyones hero. So he now makes big money selling high priced yachts and having easy flings with women. Then Wynter and Caleb meet and suddenly love is an option after all. Both Caleb and Wynter are likeable and relatable characters and I loved their developing relationship throughout the story. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone story.

This was a very suspenseful murder mystery that I really enjoyed reading. This story had to from the beginning, and it really was enjoyable to know what was going to happen throughout the book. This book I did feel was missing something thou, I really like how this strong-willed woman takes a strong lead in the story. Logan can be a really related character and even with normal things like glassblowing was very interesting. Logan is trying to pick her life up from what happened with her husband and putting it all together that things all of a sudden feel like they might just get worse. But with her determination and never-ending investigation this book really had some twists and turns and was very entertaining to read. great book for a first book in the series I do hope I learn more about Logan in the next books.

I don’t know what I expected when I picked up this book but I was not disappointed. This book was such a good read
Olivia is attending her ex husbands wedding. In the effort of not showing up alone, her kids convince her she needs to take a fake date. She does no expect Roman. At all. Olivia just needs to remind herself that no matter how great it’s going, it’s not real. It can’t be. Or at least Olivia is sure it can’t be. As the week progresses, Olivia and Roman grow closer. What happens when the island vibes end and reality sneaks in?
Olivia is such a relatable character. I’m not sure I’ve read any other book where the heroine battles menopause and all of the things that come with it but it was so relatable and real. Both characters were very well written. I was pulled into the story and couldn’t put it down!

Unclutter: A Survivor’s Story, by Winnie D Pagora, is a story that will make you really be inside all of your emotions. The novel centers around an eighteen year old girl, Tina, who is navigating life as best she can with deep-seated trauma. Many traumatic themes play a role here, but I didn’t feel like it was over-the-top or unbelievable. These subject matters addressed are things that really happen to people and my heart broke so many times. The author writes beautifully, perfect pacing and characters were very well developed. It made it easy to really connect with them. Despite the sad topics, this is an absolutely beautiful story and I am so thankful that I read it. I recommend to anyone. These topics deserve more spotlight.

We are back on the Bennetts Farm and Becky is lost in her world, loving the role she plays within the family and with her cooking show growing all the time she feels she is missing something in life. With her brothers meeting the loves of there lives she feels she wants what they have and have a family of her own but the only thing is she is attracted to the wrong man.
Glen has been through a lot in his life, but not with sobriety he is trying to make a mends for all the heartbreak and destruction he has caused along the way but god is playing a serious trick on him and he has an attraction to the one woman he can’t have or can he. Becky has always been the kind soul and sunshine but can he be enough for her and can he get past the family he has caused so much pain.
But, when something happens that drives Becky away, Glen takes off after her and with none of her family around and just to two of them can they acted on the attraction that has been bubbling for a while or will they both feel they have betrayed her family.
I love this serious and you made us wait for Becky’s story you tinker, but it was worth waiting for. In all the other books Becky has always intrigued me and he story was beautiful and heart-breaking in parts. This can be read as a stand alone story as the author brings past history forward so you don’t lose any back story.
Glen’s character was heart-breaking and brilliant all in one, to see how he cares for Becky and truly shows the love he has for her is beautiful to read, the journey he has gone through is remarkable and Becky is the perfect partner to grow the love he has in his hear.
The story as always is well written and flows just wonderfully through the story, I hope there are more stories to come in this series as I am not ready to let go of Langston Falls.

Can there relationship grow when she does not really understand the handsome man in front of her?
Oh my lord, what a story. I have read all the other WaterFyre Rising books and all are brilliant but this just seems a bit more dark and thrilling. As I have read the other books this is not a requirement for you to enjoy this book as it ca be read as a stand alone story but I recommend reading the others for your enjoyment.
This story takes you more into Forrest’s mind and vendetta against the criminals who murdered his family and does go dark more than the other stories, but adds more shadow into the story. The relationship between Forrest and Kiera is soft and slow at the beginning but once they get to know each other it ignites into a passionate chemistry between the two.
The story is told in dual POV which also adds a layer to the story as you get to understand both feelings and anxiety with each other. Kiera is a great strong female and I feel she just grows more as the story goes on, although we get a hint of Forrest in the other books it is great to read his story and that he finds a happy ending in the end.
The story as always is well written and such fast pace that you hardly notice that you are half way through in the middle of the night lol. I love the style and the characters are rich and although there are some topics which you may feel its hard to read the author writes with respect and care which just adds to the story and injection compassion.
Thank you for this wonderful insight into the friend again, fingers crossed there is another book in this series.

My Big Red Monster is part of the Giants and Monsters collection, but they don’t have to be read together. I normally love the authors books, and while this book was cute, it is not one of my favorites. The main character has a monster under her bed, but her brother doesn’t believe her. After having her monster help with chores, she sends him over to her brother’s room. Guess he will learn first hand the monster is real! The book is short, and geared toward preschool/young elementary. My son is 7 and I would say that’s about the max age for engagement. The illustrations are wonderful and bright and detailed. I loved the slobber dripping from the monster on one of the pages.

Sarge is an easy to read novella. This book is part of the Mission 3047 universe. It’s intriguing, interesting, entertaining, but also a little different. I absolutely loved this pre-qual to The Talisman Series, Tam DeRudder Jackson is such a thorough writer when it comes to creating a story full of details and leaving nothing out, she is a downright genius. Your imagination gets the biggest treat when you read her books. From the smallest of details to the surroundings of the characters, you can practically taste the smells around the characters, as they experience them. It is such a magical world that I feel like I could climb right into the story as a bystander. It was so easy for my imagination to follow along with the story being viewed in my mind. This is the kind of book that grabs my attention and keeps me reading straight through to the end, they are so amazing! This is the first book I’ve ever read in this series, and it will not be the last. I am so excited to continue on this journey and see where this series leads. I have to say I want to read more of Riley and Lynnette’s romance in order to learn more of Lynnette’s Talisman skills and see how they are able to benefit Riley’s Warrior skills. I am a huge fan of the paranormal especially when romance is a huge aspect of the book. Back again reading another book from this fantastic author. After reading most of the talisman Series, I was super excited to read a prequel in the series.I do love getting the origin story. I made quick work of this story. It was only 11 chapters or so, but even though it was a short read it was Still just as great as the other in the series. And just as the author says in her synopsis. This is a good place to start your journey reading these books. This follows Riley and Lynnette and the events that took place that ended up with them mated together 🥰 I look forward to finishing the rest of the books and any new ones that hopefully come out.

Belinda Williams delivers festive romance on a silver platter. I can always guarantee when inread a book who’s main character is down on their luck, it’s going to captivate me. This book was ready wrapped in a blanket with the fireplace going and it was perfection. Funnily enough I have been obsessed with watching Bondi rescue so I was up for this Australian vacation love whirlwind. I didn’t want it to end but it was good all through. I enjoyed the drama of the story line and the roll with it attitude of the fmc. Good read!!

Valerie Davisson delivers another great Logan McKenna thriller. Back in Oregon at The New School, Logan discovers a dead body. This woman keeps finding herself in the middle of the flames! This book has the same believable, realistic, perfectly imperfect characters from the previous books and you can’t help but feel connected to them. The Oregon forest comes to life with the vivid world building Davisson brings to the table. I could almost smell the pine needles and hear the owl calling. Whisper Creek was full of the same twists and turns I have come to expect from Valerie Davisson, and I absolutely love it! This book kept me second-guessing myself about who I thought the murderer was. I can’t wait to read more!

This was a great 5 star read. My emotions were all over the place. I really liked Con and Jessica, you could feel their connection coming off the pages. The author’s writing pulled me right in and I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. Will Jessica finally get her happiness or will fate make the choice for her? Overall this was a great novella. I was happy with the story and I finished it all in one sitting since I didn’t want to put it down.
