I couldn’t WAIT till my workday was over to sit down and read this book. This is the first book that I read from Cynthia Hamilton and I am hooked. This booked kept me on the edge the whole time wondering what was going to happen. The characters were amazing! Having three stories in one was awesome, I was also surprised that it was SO easy to keep up with. Sometimes storylines like that can get confusing but this was laid out perfectly. I would recommend this book to anyone!

This is a collection of 3 short but very steamy stories. This is a collection of stories that have action, lust, friends to enemies, secret fantasies and a feeling of why choose when you can have everything you want.
The babysitter- This is the first story and is an age-gap romance. We do however meet all the characters that are in the following stories during this time as well. Here is where we meet Richard and his wife Alice. Their marriage has got a bit boring and uneventful since the birth of their son, so when Richard finds out the babysitter has a thing for him and she makes moves on him, he is unable to resist. Giving into temptation and allowing himself to get lost in the arms of another women is only the start of his adventures.
The boss’s daughter- This is an enemies to lovers romance. We are back with Richard who has been tasked with a case to crack by the bosses daughter. After Scarlett catches Richard and the babysitter up to no good in his office she decides she is going to use this against him to get what she wants. Namely him. However things don’t go as she had planned and when she loses her dominance over Richard she awakens a side of him that she never knew existed before. Maybe Richard isn’t such a push over after all?
Menage A Trois- This is the 3rd book and wow what a way to end this set. Alice knows things need spicing up a bit in her marriage so she sets out to surprise Richard when he returns home and boy does she do that. When Alice hears screaming from her neighbours( the babysitters) apartment she rushes to help. After taking Rebecca away from her abusive father she comforts the girl and listens as Rebecca spills her soul. Including the fact that she got intimate with Richard. Alice is angry and wants revenge so she plans to play Richard at his own game. But what happens when Richard returns home to witness his wife and lover together? Will this be a happy ending for them all? Or will this be the final straw that breaks their marriage completely?
This Contemporary Romance has it all. Even though Rowan and Chris tried to fight their emotions. Fake or not things still went from business to wholly hot. Rowan is strong and independent and even though she had a lot to accomplish with her sister’s wedding, she was determined to get it done. Chris on the other hand was not expecting to help out. So now that he got himself in hot water. How will he get himself out of the emotional rollercoaster he jumped into? Will Rowan see herself clear or will she too jump into the rollercoaster? This author left nothing out. Her writing is easy to follow and your emotions will be out of control. She really has a way with words. This story was right on, in the romance series. I can hardly wait to read more from this series. See where the author takes us next.

Alam – Review by Cindy Mayberry
This author knows how to create amazing, relatable characters. Even though Chris Sullens is a famous entrepreneur, he can talk to and relate to a small hometown community. From the main characters to the smallest of characters, the author puts an immense amount of personality into each of them as if you have known them for multiple series. In this case we have known Chris, but not to the extent in which we now know him in this novel.
This book is a tale of two love birds that struggle to express their opinions to each other but wear their hearts on their sleeves. The story of Rowan and Chris pulls at my heart strings and I was rooting for them every step of the way. Frustration, anger, lust, and happiness are all emotions that play major roles in this novel and I highly recommend you pick it up! There is a small amount of love scenes in this book which I appreciate because I do not enjoy complete erotica novels. It is easy enough to skip over those scenes as well. I sincerely cannot get enough of this author!

Alam – Review by Allyson Ware
Unexpected Entanglements is the third book in The Echo series by C.R. Alam. This is a contemporary romance with a fake relationship element, an unexpected entanglement, chemistry, sizzle, emotion, angst, love, loss, grief, a little drama, danger, finding love unexpectedly, fate, banter, and more. Chris Sullens is about to have his world turned upside down when he not only finds himself offering to help plan a wedding out of the blue, he also can’t deny the connection that simmers between the stunning innkeeper/wedding planner and himself. But things take a very interesting turn when he then agrees to play her (fake) fiancé. So, get set as the sparks fly, chemistry sizzles, and things start to go awry. What happens definitely makes for an engrossing read. Happy Reading…

This is a part of series, but I read it as a stand alone. It was the first of this author’s books that I read. It is full suspenseful and mystery. I enjoyed the characters. Maddie and Mike are married and both are private investigators. In Other People’s Money they are working to solve three different cases. As they work through each case, they find something new and it adds more twists and turns. I didn’t figure out the ending until the end- which is a plus!

Little Red is going to visit her grandmother. Grandma asked her to stop to find coneflowers on her way. So Little Red sets off with her identification booklet. Just as in the original story, a wolf meets up with Little Red and plays his tricks. I love reading Lois Wickstrom’s childrens books as she ties in learning with great stories and fabulous illustrations. Highly recommend her books if you have little ones that you are reading to at home or at school!

I’ll Love You Tomorrow is the third book in the Trading Heartbeats Trilogy by Julie Navickas. OK, sooooo after reading the first two books in this trilogy I wasn’t sure Ms. Navickas would be able to keep the momentum going and match the impact of her first two wonderful books…. but I should never have doubted her because this was every bit as good as I could have hoped for, and more. This is Mitch and Lauren’s story- and what a story they have. Past history connects them – lives entwining since they were children. But that’s not to say that it was all smooth sailing- as rough seas seem to hit them when Mitch begins to withdraw. This causes hurt and confusion. Adding pressure to their relationship. When a fire destroys Lauren’s restaurant that she had poured her energy, heart, and soul into- she feels like her life in crumbling before her eyes. But she’s not ready to raise the white flag just yet- and has one last ditch gamble – So…. Ready. Set. Vegas! What ensues makes for a captivating read! Again, Ms. Navickas hit me with an emotional walloping. Her characters are so well developed, with their own unique personalities, quirks, and flaws. They are so ‘real’ and believable. It was easy to relate to them- I was connected and invested in them and their story. This was a bit of a bittersweet read for me as on one hand I was excited to get my hands on the next instalment of this fab series, but on the other I was a little sad as this is the final book in the Trading Heartbeats Trilogy and I wasn’t ready to say goodbye yet, or maybe ever…… But I am excited to see what Ms. Navickas might have in store for us next! Happy Reading…

I really loved Enemies of Doves when I read it and though it was a real surprise package- in a great way….. but I have to say that this book is even better- exceeding all my expectations. A River of Crows by Shanessa Gluhm is a tense and twisty read that grabbed me right from the opening scene. Full of mystery, suspense, dramatic developments, murder, intrigue, intensity, revenge, secrets, family dynamics, and discovery await in this intricately woven story full of richly detailed and descriptive scenes that really set the stage and pulls the reader into all the dramatic developments. Well worth the read! Looking forward to more from Ms. Gluhm. Happy Reading…

This is the third book in this series which I enjoyed reading just as much as the previous two books. I would highly suggest reading the previous two books to help your enhancement of this author. This is a series I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. This book is just as engaging and hard to put down. I enjoyed how the author used details to make her story come to life on each page. The characters are relatable, strong and supportive of each other. They pull you into their world from the start and had me coming back for more. I enjoyed watching their growth and their chemistry just as great to see. I found this book to be fast paced and engaging. A story where a simple favor turns into so much more for these two characters. You don’t want to miss what happens next. I really enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.

Interwoven horror collection This is an anthology of twisted short stories that would make a great addition to a horror story night. The writing style draws you in and the stories leave your heart racing. There’s plenty of spine chilling mystery and paranormal aspects that will have you checking over your shoulder. Highly recommend for supernatural thriller lovers.

This is the third book in this series which is just as great as the previous two. I highly suggest reading the previous two books to help your enhancement of this author and her characters. I have enjoyed reading this romance story and was excited to pick up the third book. This is a well written story about Lauren and the life struggles that fate throws at her. She has put everything she has into her restaurant but when she loses it to a fire, her world starts to crumble. You don’t want to miss what happens to Lauren next. What does fate have in store for her? Will she put it all on the line to find happiness? I enjoyed her character and what she brought to the story. She is strong and certainly took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions. This is a fast paced romance story that is engaging and hard to put down. One you don’t want to miss out on. This is my favorite of the series. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This is my first book by this author which I enjoyed and I look forward to seeing what is next for this author. This is a suspenseful story about family and murder. It is a story where the author throws in a twist at every turn and you won’t see it coming. I enjoyed how the author used details to bring life to the story. It is a realistic story where I had no problems being able to picture myself in the story. I found this book to be well written and engaging. A hard to put down story that is fast paced and easy to read. I enjoyed how the characters were able to pull me into their world with ease. They are strong, supportive characters that add so much to this story. The twists and turns had me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. There is great growth with the plot throughout the story. I really enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.

What a wonderful ending to a terrific series. Rowan and Chris’s story is just beautiful. It started with tragedy yet they overcame a lot. I found the story heartwarming with a bit of everything in it. I loved that old friends from the previous stories came to visit. This really helps ties everything up and helps with continuity of the story. I have loved all the characters. The author writes in such a way that you feel like they are your friends. This can be read as a stand alone or a series but I would recommend to read in order. I would recommend this series. It’ sone of the most heartfelt and warm series I’ve read in a while.

Wow! That drowning scene that started the book was quite intense and just yanked you right in also. I was hooked to the story right then and there. Sloan Hadfield had her hands full trying to keep her life together. Her family fell apart after her brother, Ridge, disappeared. Secrets and revenge abound in this story. The crows will hold their own secrets. This story is so intriguing that you find you can’t put it down. Sloan and the others feel kind of like family. You hurt for them and feel for them. I found myself going through every emotion reading this tory. It’s a story that will definitely be on my favorites list of 2023. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. So well done

Here we get to Lauren & Mitch’s story. They are facing some marriage issues because work/life balance from Lauren. It’s tough but we do get to see them work hard through their struggle. Old faces pop up through our story. This is such a heartwarming story. The author writes the story in such a real way that’s shows how relationships can be hard but if they are meant to be, with some real work put in, they just might find happiness. I love the characters in this series. They are all written in ways to feel like they could be your friends. Such a wonderful book. A beautiful ending to a beautiful trilogy.

Grayson is stuck in a cycle of mistrust and work, when his Uncle betrayed the family he did not think he would survive the personal struggle which occurs from such a great betrayal but as he tries to purpose his project unexpectedly he meets someone who challenges him and does not back away from the alpha billionaire.
Natalie wants answers, her father died in mysterious circumstances and when a letter arrived saying she own a piece of real estate that her father had willed her she tries to seek information and why he would have done this. While on her adventures she is confronted with a man who stirs something inside and seems to have some more information regarding her property, the only problem he needs it as part of his project and she is hiding the fact she owns it, will this set of sparks of anger or are they both showing feelings of something more.
This the third book in this series and they only get better the more you read on, all the books can be read as stand alone books as there is only a small thread of background which runs through each character. I loved the chemistry which jumps off the page relating to Natalie and Grayson, with also the fact they are both hiding a secret in there past just adds to the overall arc of the story.
The story was well written and draws you in with the twists and turns as you delve further into the story on the page. It was also lovely to see the relationship between these two characters blossom in too respect and love in the end. With Grayson, understanding the relationship between his uncle and why this is such a betrayal that he had to try and understand and piece himself back together was brilliant to read.
I definitely can’t wait for the next instalment of this wonderful series.

This trilogy is a very quick paced, fast read. I was verysrurprised with how quickly I was able to read each book. That said, let’s talk about the books in this trilogy. I feel like this has a bit for everyone since every story is a different trope. You may not like them all but you can definitely find one that you do like in this collection. The steam is in full force from the very first story and doesn’t really let up until the end. The plots of each book are there but do happen to get lost in the steam, which I think is intentional. Don’t get me wrong the plots are good for each of these stories in the trilogy. They just seem to take a back seat to the steam. Which in all actuality is what I was expecting to happen during this trilogy. I found it interesting to see what was going to happen to Richard in every story. I loved the continuity that flowed from book to book. Even though the tropes where different, you felt a connection because of Richard being in each story. I would highly recommend this trilogy to anyone who likes steams, enjoys a variety of tropes but keeps the main character, and someone looking for an easy quick read. I was not disappointed in this series at all. Reviewed by: @bbohls
White Picket Fences is a wonderfully written Contemporary women’s Fiction about love, loss ,and self discovery. I felt this to my soul as I’ve been struggling lately with many different emotions that go along with change brought on by many different things. I related to Julie and how she didn’t know who she is anymore. My heart ached for her and her family as they all were trying to find their new normal. Sometimes we carry the weight of the world on our shoulders without realizing the effect it will have on us and those around us. This story struck home for me on so many levels. It helped me to realize I need to makes some changes myself and need to be not so hard on myself about things out of my control. Id recommend having some kleenex close by as you read this story of a moms guilt and discovering herself after tragedy strikes her family. I could go on and on about this but I won’t. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Hands down one of my favorite series’….The Innovator is book 3 of the WaterFyre Rising and I absolutely LOVED Grayson and Natalie’s story. I highly recommend reading this series from the beginning as the characters and stories intertwine. I can say I loved each book so far and the author does not disappoint with book 3.
Enemies to lovers….Grayson and Natalie are that…while Grayson is all business, focused and determined to succeed in all his projects, Natalie thinks that he is rude and arrogant. When a project puts Grayson and Natalie together to work as a team, it was a bit rocky at first. Both Grayson and Natalie have their own “secrets” and truly darkness overshadows their heart. When Grayson and Natalie finally get to know each other more of their truths….the walls around their hearts start to crumble. Sparks and hot sizzling moments along with intelligent and intellectual conversations, there is more to Grayson and Natalie than meets the eye. They both fall for each other, but when both of their pasts comes back to haunt them, will Grayson be able to protect Natalie when she needs him the most or will he self sabotage and push her away……
Definitely read and find out. This story is FANTASTIC!!!!!! If you love hot romance, drama with a twist of banter and suspense, I would HIGHLY recommend this series!! I am totally anticipating book 4!!

This was a lengthy book to read, but I felt that it was justified. The build-up was extremely well done and had me panting at some scenes. Cassandra had a dream. A dream to be one of the greatest aerialists in the world, even after she has lost both of her parents. She is taken under Chandler’s wing at the Dreamers Academy, and sparks fly between the both of them. The student/teacher forbidden trope was well written and has me wanting more! The plot twists were not was I expecting and had me rereading what I just read just to make sure I had read it correctly. I am waiting with bated breath on the next book to see where the story goes, after that terrible cliffhanger.

This collection of short stories definitely gave me goosebumps reading them! I gotta say I was highly impressed by the writing and the storytelling. I would say that is on par with Mr. King himself! I was drawn into the stories from the get go and got chills reading some of them, and I gotta say they had me going and made me looking around the dark corners of my room hoping something didn’t pop out and scare me half to death! This collection is what introduced me to this author and I’m looking forward to reading more of her books from now on!

The conclusion to Cyrus and Jace’s story. The Messenger was alright. An MM romance with a lot of drama to go along with it. The author keeps on intrigued in what’s been written. Also the display of character growth is beautiful in its own way. At the conclusion of the Perdition Riots Jace was exiled from the city of Las Vegas. If he stayed away the messengers couldn’t touch him. However he asked Cyrus to come with him and at the time he said no. With some regret Cyrus is doing what he can to find Jace and make sure he’s alright. Unfortunately other messengers have plans for Cyrus. He killed one of his own kind to protect the enemy he must pay. And pay he did, left for dead in an alley his life changed forever. Jace living on a ranch in Tucson has been trying to adapt to his new way of life. He’s a mess though, he misses Cyrus. So when he finds out Cyrus was attacked and left for dead, he doesn’t care about breaking his exile agreement. Once he re enters Las Vegas all bets are off, he’s fair game for the messengers. What he found though, was unexpected. What happens to Cyrus? What will happen between Cyrus and Jace? How can they keep the messengers that want them gone at bay? Those questions and so many more. You could very well read this book as a standalone, but I would advise reading it as a pair with book 1 Watcher. If you’ve already read Watcher, what are you waiting for? It’s time to read the epic conclusion.
This is an engaging collection of short stories. Each story gives you a glimpse into a world where you should listen to your other senses. Some will have you sleeping with the lights and others will have you looking warily at your surroundings. The author does a good job with these nine stories. Each one is fresh and keeps your attention. As with most collections there were those that stood out more than others but as a whole this collection is a nice read. If you are looking for a little excitement to your reading these stories may bring a bit of horror to your library.

While it was steamy as to be expected I do still like a plot to what I’m reading and this one fell a little short. At times the plot didn’t make real sense and felt secondary to the spice. I would be willing to try more by this author as I always like a redemption! Be prepared this is all for the spice!
The first one was a slow start. I pushed through. I was hooked by the middle. At the end I couldn’t wait to start the second. The scandal. Oh my goodness. I just couldn’t stop reading no matter how much I knew the going ons were wrong! The third book? Two words. CAKE ICING!
Savage Lies (Hidden Valley Elite Book 1) by Isla Vaughn – Review by Jessica Stone
So, to start I highly recommend reading the prequel story Savage starts, I don’t believe that it is required, but it definitely gives a lot of context as to what’s going on in this book and a lot of deep down thoughts and emotions that our two main characters are feeling in the book.
Cole and his brother Damon are seemingly you average rich boys, stars of the football team, heartthrobs, used to getting what they want. And what they want is their father to feel the pain that they have felt after recently losing their mother. But quicker than they would like, it seems as though their father has moved on and they’ll do anything to put a stop to that relationship.
Riley, is anything BUT your average kid, having moved around from town to town with her mother pulling con’s on unsuspecting men, her mom swears this town, this time will be different. But Riley’s heard that before and isn’t quite ready to believe her mom.
Suddenly Riley and Cole are thrust into one another’s lives, there’s an undeniable attraction between the two that Riley is fighting tooth an nail. Cole on the other hand is trying to keep Riley close, so he can tear her and her moms life apart.
This book is a WILD ride, I have a wee bit of whiplash after reading it. I’m obsessed with this series already, I love the push and pull, enemies to lovers, high school bully angsty themes to this series. Spoiler alert this book end on a sudden cliff hanger that has me dying for the next book. The build up is great, the story, familiar but with its own spin and the writing has my begging for more. Can’t wait to see what this author has in store for the rest of this series I can see it easily becoming a favorite of mine.

This book. I’m not sure if it was a good read or not. If you like very sexy books with mostly spice in the pages then this was fantastic. If you’re looking for more plot and less or no spice then I would say this books wasn’t great. It was very steamy, very spicy, so much so the plot didn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. There were some scenes (that weren’t steamy) that felt slightly disjointed but regardless of that I guess I can say this book did the job it needed to do.
