This book takes you on an angsty, full of trauma bumpy road. The story of Enzo and Phoebe is one to keep you thinking and will bring all the feelings. Even though the title says it was going to be angsty I didn’t expect it to be so heartfelt. If you want to travel around beautiful landscapes and have all your feelings hit you at once you should definitely give this book a try.

I’ve always loved stories of second chances, and this one certainly did not let me down.

Teddy is a good man who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and ended up serving prison time for the crime he didn’t commit. He’s been gone for years, but his love for Robyn has never died, no matter how much he pushed it down and tried to forget about it.

This was such a cute children’s book and one my little boy really enjoyed – he loves cats so I knew it would be a hit! The illustrations were great and really engaging. The storyline is really easy to follow and certainly gets children imaginations going as they try to think of how to rescue the kitten from the tree along with Caspian and his Grandpa.
This author has such a wonderful imagination and her creative stories definitely capture the interest of children and engage them well in her stories.

This was such a lovely Christmassy read and one that I really enjoyed. It was really well written and engaging. I loved the characters Sienna and Connor, they both had their own issues to overcome but also something in common that brought them together. They really did have a genuine connection. I really did feel this genuine connection with the characters and I really came to care about them – I genuinely was rooting for them the whole way through. I felt for Sienna at times with her overpowering Mother.
Overall this was a lovely story and one that I would highly recommend. I will definitely be looking forward to reading more from this author again in the future.

Shows the true heart of children and what can happen when adults get on board with the ideas of the children in their lives rather than dismissing them because they are young. The children are the future as the saying goes and they see things so clearly. Amaleigha is definitely one of those children with a beautiful heart and I would recommend this book for all parents to read with their little ones.

KG Fletcher did not let us down with this new series! What a sweet, original, realistic, heart tugging story!

Personally, my family motto has always been “You can’t help who you love.” meaning when you love someone, you just love them. Robyn and Ted have this you can’t help who you love, this faultless love going on. Things happen that tears them apart, for years, but neither has given up hope. After reuniting you can tell their love is true. However, another test is thrown their way. Will they both have enough strength to keep trying?

The plot of this story is beautifully written. Fletcher creates a town (Langston Falls), characters and even feelings that wrap a reader right into the story. Looking forward to reading the next in this series!

If you are looking for a fun and hilarious romantic comedy that would be perfect to transport you out of the cold and in the mood for the holidays, then this one is for you!

 

Kamana Wanalaya for the Holidays by Susan Renee follows Teagan, the love Guru and Tenley the love Cynic as they both try to prove each other wrong on their view of love. It all goes down when Teagan invites Tenley during an interview to a couples retreat at a beautiful Hawaiian resort. If she doesn’t fall in love with love, then he will donate to her podcast. So how will this go? Which will prevail…love or cynicism?

 

This book was so enjoyable. I laughed out loud a few times at the banter between the main characters while being jealous I wasn’t the one celebrating the holidays in Hawaii. Grab a drink, throw on some shades, and enjoy this quick and spicy read.

What an enjoyable read. Teagan and Tenley are a hoot. What starts as rivalry ends up as fireworks. This rom-com had me laughing, shaking my head and cheering at the shenanigans of these two. I loved the island setting. The author has balanced the romance, wit and steam just right and has a delivered a strong dual POV story that will appeal to a wide audience. Recommend.

Murder on Oak Street is book one in the A South Shore Mystery Series. I truly enjoyed reading this Historical Mystery that once I started reading I had a hard time putting it down. I’m fairly new to this author but I’m definitely going to check out what other books they have written. This is a fast paced story that is packed with action, suspense, drama and so much. The twists and turns had me turning the pages trying to figure out what was going to happen next. What will happen when old files are open and new murder happens Are they both somehow connected? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I don’t want to give away anything. I think its better enjoyed going in not knowing what is going to happen. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

The illustrations in this book are fantastic. The book asks the question where do Pirates go on vacation and yet it is never really answered. It does lead to the reader discussing the possiblities of where but yet it doesn’t really answer the question. Great for getting the kids to interact with the book. And again the illustrations are fantastic. It truly does inspire interactions and imagination.

What actually happened to Issac Moore is a really good question. In this incredibly smooth, well written, fantastical adventure novel we are left wondering just that. This was my first book by this author and I was taken aback by the creativity and imagination it took to weave together a story of this caliber. I did read the excerpt of the story and acknowledged many of the fantastical elements like giant worms, flowers with eyes, battles with air dragons, enslaving vines, and being brought back to life after a brain bleed, but I was still unprepared for what this book actually contained. I believe this is the best way to go into this book because I don’t think you can ever really prepare for Issacs journey. He really just wants a good nights sleep and some good food but he is thrown into a whole other world. This is an intriguing, wild, enjoyable read.

Amaleigha is a super sweet little girl who loves to visit the library and enjoys the many books that are available for her. She notices that other children, who don’t speak English, don’t have as many books available to them. So Amaleigha sets out to raise money to fix that and builds a little library so anyone has access to the books that they were able to get at any time. This was an incredibly sweet story that I was happy to share with my kiddos and we all thoroughly enjoyed. I really loved the directions on how to build your own little free library. I would absolutely recommend this book.

Where do pirates go on vacation? Or do they go at all? This is a very simple, easy to read, and incredibly illustrated children’s book. It was a fun, quick read before bedtime. My kiddos enjoyed having this book read to them, and guessing if pirates actually take vacations, as much as I enjoyed reading it.

Add a broken man who needs fixing and I’m hooked!
I truly believe that our soul mates are suppose to have such a significant impact on our lives that we are forever changed and this book just cemented that believe.
This book is superbly written with well developed characters and an amazing storyline.
I did not read the previous books in this series, so it can definitely be read and enjoyed as a standalone. But I loved this author’s writing so much I’m going to read the other.

I read it to my 4 year old 1st, & when he asked to read it again as soon as we finished, my 5 year old caught interest & she loved it too. This curious tale, was definitely one of the more interesting ones that I have read this year. The author crafts her tale in such a way that you never know what’s coming next, and you just simply can’t stop reading. There are parts that will break your heart and others that will warm them. While you will laugh plenty you might also want a box of tissues, needless to say this book was an amazing roller coaster ride. But over all this book was amazing and I will personally be looking for more from this author.

The fact that each picture was so diverse and shows how connected we are as parents and how our babies are our magic. This will be a beautiful story to read again and again to my kids!
