IMPORTANT BEFORE READING THIS BOOK! You should read the first 2 books before reading Abnormally Abbey and Class Clown. Spook Squad by Allan Evans is a good horror book about magic and High school students. There is weird stuff that is happening in this school, and it all revolves around the main character 14-year-old Abbey. I like how this book was written in the view of Abbey and how this book dips into the horror aspect. Abbey is a great written character and is written exactly like a high school student. When they warn you there’s a cliffhanger THERE’S A FREAKING CLIFFHANGER. Not sure what I expected but it wasn’t that! All in all Shadows In The Dark is a very good book but if you are new to the BDSM world thus one would be a little shocking and you might want to choose something a bit lighter to start with. I was expecting something a little darker but overall I’m anything but disappointed. Very much so looking forward to the next one!!

The London Detective Agency book series is a great murder mystery. In the first book Mistaken Identity about Patrick and Evelyn, Evelyn has someone else’s bag which sends off a crime boss to find her. I love how this book focuses on both people in the story and how you get to know what is happening to each other chapter by chapter. This book will keep you guessing who the killer is. It will also show what happened to the other person who has Evelyn’s bag and why the Crime bosses are after her. So, grab a drink and some snacks and enjoy the first book. If you enjoy this book, then you will enjoy the second one Be My Little Baby Which is about Tessa who is a baker that becomes famous in London. She suddenly has a stalker and meets James Who helps her try to figure out who is stalking her. I love how this book has a little bit of romance while dealing with someone stalking her. This book like the first is a great Who done it. This is a great series, and you can read them both here So like I said earlier grab some popcorn your Kindle, or your physical book and a nice drink and enjoy this who-dun-it page-turner series. I absolutely love this book series. Who knew that menopause and hockey could go together so well? This is the third book in the Hot Flash Hookups series, and it continues to include all of our favorite past characters that we have grown to know and love. We get to watch the grumpy hockey goalie, Niko, as he battles for custody with his ex-wife for joint custody of his daughter and his strong attraction to the coach’s daughter Chloe. Is there room in his life for both a little romance with a gorgeous woman beginning menopause, who happens also to be an amazing hockey player, and to win the battle with his ex-wife who seems to enjoy playing games more than she cares about what’s best for their daughter’s well-being? You will not want to miss this next book of Marika Ray and Sylvie Stewart, who are a dynamic duo when it comes to writing amazing romance books with a lot of humor in them. Every single one of the books in this series has had me rolling with laughter as well as tearing up when the characters battle their self-worth while navigating their attraction to these cute hockey players who seem to ignore what’s right in front of them. Knight On Edge by Alice Bienia is like a campy murder mystery. The story writing blended really well with the murder but also with hearing about Jorja’s life. This book is great for people who love who dun its books, people working in detective agencies, and people who love action-packed books. The book also talks about how the wife suspects her husband of cheating and killing his lover because her gun is missing. The book also focuses on the police doing their job but also how the wife keeps calling to get more clues about the case of the murdered victim. Who do you think the killer is, was it the wife trying to frame the husband for murder or was it the jealous husband thinking that the wife is cheating? Find out in this new murder mystery book. Love and Fate is an amazing second chance at romance between a rockstar and the girl he loved but pushed away due to his insecurities. This romance has everything you could ever want in a story, from an exciting rock band with cool members to love and loss and, of course, regrets for decisions made throughout life. I love that there are so many great lessons to be learned from the characters in this story, and they most definitely do, some good and some bad outcomes but in the end, love will always win out. You get to experience what life is like for parents in the music industry and how there must be a deep-seated trust between both parties in a relationship to make things work and be faithful. There are some deeply sad parts in this story, but those must happen so that the characters may experience the life lessons that come with these rough patches in life. This book was well-written and kept my interest the entire time I was reading it. I am so excited to find the first book and see what I missed out on by starting on book 2 of this series. Sanctuary by Bree M. Lewandowski is a good book for slow-burner fans but has adult content. The book is a great fantasy read that has spice. The setting is like an old-fashioned story. The main character’s brother was killed while people were distracted because he was her sacrifice. The main character was really romantic. Marlena Frank is such an amazing author; she brings this book to life with her dynamic characters. I loved following along with the unlikely pairing of Colton and Rennick along with the fieriness of Mary. This book does a great job of bringing out a fantastic world full of fantasy and western gunslinging fun. Who would have thought that a loner werewolf, Colton, pair well with a bloodsucking card shark like Rennick, yet it takes the partners to need one another to survive the evil happenings in Peridot. This book will have you on the edge of your seat at the action-packed, thrill ride this book takes you on. Book #1 Mistaken Identity by Stephanie R. Caffrey was such a thrilling read, I couldn’t put this book down! I love the characters and how feisty they are, especially our main female character, Evelyn, who finds herself in a messy situation when she is mistaken for someone else while traveling abroad. Patrick happens to be at the airport looking to prevent Megan from going on the run, when he accidentally grabs Evelyn instead, who happens to look similar to Megan. All this mess happens because Megan, who was in a hurry to get onto the airplane, bumped into Evelyn and accidentally grabbed the wrong travel bag. Due to this accident, Evelyn was left holding Megan’s bag, which puts her in a very dangerous situation. Throughout this book we see Evelyn forced to step out of her comfort zone, and continually have to fight for her life, and the lives of her new friends. This story is so realistic, it will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what may be waiting right around the corner! There is a budding romance throughout the story, that is beautifully intertwined with the thrills of mystery and danger. What a wonderful touch to have a slow to develop romance that stayed in the bounds of old-fashioned courtship, showing that there are good men still out there who respect women’s morals.
Book #2 This is the second book of the London Detective Agency series. It focuses on James, who investigates a stalker case for the local bakery owner, Tessa. This book continues along with the first book in the series and contains all of our favorite characters and many new ones. I loved how James finally finds someone to keep him from being such a huge workaholic in the office and gets him to get out a little more from his daily habits of spending way too much time at work. What a great mystery that has you second-guessing who the stalker may be. It casts a light of suspicion at so many of your favorite characters but beware not all are as good as they seem. This book has a lot of exciting scenes in it and will make you anxious to read it from cover to cover, so grab a snack and get ready for a fun read.
