A Tale of Two Crushes by Cori Cooper – Review by Brandy Rymer
A Tale of Two Crushes by Cori Cooper
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A Tale of Two Crushes is such a sweet romance. Holland is the new girl in school and meets two different guys in her first two days at her new school. Little did she know that her two crushes were twin brothers with completely opposite personalities. Holland is a huge book nerd, who loves eating healthy, natural foods, and wants to be a nurse once she finishes school, which she hopes to do on a fast track. Asher, the first twin she meets is so similar to Holland that he seems like the perfect guy until he doesn’t respond to her messages. Chandler, the guy she meets the next day is cute beyond anything she could imagine, but he seems to be very self-centered, hates books as well as vegetables, and recently broke up with his snobbish girlfriend. The twins have had a constant battle with one another since they were very young, so when they both realize they both have their sights on dating Holland, the war begins, and she’s in the middle. Which boy will Holland choose to be with, or will she choose to go with neither due to their constant battles? You’ll want to read the book to find out what’s going on with both of these boys and who Holland chooses. Happy reading my friends, this is a great young adult book for all you romance fans who are looking for a soft romance.
