Distant Memories by Kate MacInnis is the second book in the Nurse Morgan series. Just like the first book, Distant Memories is filled with humor, ghosts, mystery, and a bit of romance. This text gives a good deal of summary about the first book so you can keep track of what is going on.
It seems things have started to settle down with Morgan as she has accepted her new psychic gifts. A new ghostly seductress enters the picture with her sights set on Caleb, Morgan’s new man. The plot brings to life some mischief with new adventures that cause some craziness in the spirit world as well as in real life for Morgan. I look forward to book 3 when it comes out!

Romance, mystery, ghosts, humor and fun are back in the second installment of A Nurse Morgan Series. Distant Memories by Kate MacInnis packs quite the paranormal punch all over again. If you loved the first one, buckle up for another fun ride.
The story continues about Morgan, an emergency center nurse in the metro Detroit area. With 20 plus years experience, the new ability to see and speak to ghosts, and a special love brewing with the gorgeous and sweet new doctor, Morgan never thought life could get even crazier and interesting. Guess what?….she was wrong!
Morgan has to battle with her growing feelings for Dr. Caleb while battling her own fears of being hurt. If that isn’t enough, she is now facing the villanous Esmey, a sexy female ghost who not causes trouble but can’t keep her ghostly hands off of men…even Caleb.
The fun loving characters, wit, humor and paranormal romance that drew you in the first time is all back. I really enjoyed the way Morgan is honest with struggling with the newness of her life since the near death experience and how change isn’t as easy as we all want it to be.
If you loved the first story, you will be pulled right back into this light hearted story

Danielle Jacks brought the thought processes of the two main characters in her novel to life wonderfully. Solomon (Sol) summed up his point of view after an injury left him unable to continue as a firefighter by saying, “Being a hero means nothing without the firehouse.” His former mentee, Ember, has an infatuation with Sol. She tells him, “You’re not my hero because you’ve saved lives. You’re my hero because you inspire me to be better.” The story begins with Sol seeing a therapist, who turns out to be Ember’s aunt, to help him deal with issues that have caused him to drink alcohol frequently. It follows the relationship between Sol and Ember, with alternating perspectives from these two main characters. Burned by Fire: Book 4 has the perfect amount of angst, character development, and even a few spicy scenes!

Victoria Verity is wanting a promotion by the age of thirty. As a journalist she has proven herself but she needs the next big step, deciding she needs to interview Australia’s most elusive billionaire, Seth Pierce, she hatches a plan. A bit of mistaken identity ends up with Victoria getting a different job as a media advisor to Seth. Getting to know one another finds Seth and Victoria falling for one another but could it be too good to true?
This was a fast paced read. I liked Seth, his character was full of charisma. Victoria is terrific, she is trying so hard and working with Seth is an eye opener for her. Great story, definitely would check out more in this series.

WOW. This book has all the twists and turns that you didn’t know you needed. You will not want to put this down until you unravel the entire mystery. Dark, twisty, steamy, and original. A must read and is now one of my favorite books! A. C. Kramer is a genius and I cannot wait to read more from this author!! Spring break at an exclusive resort, what can go wrong? Sydney is the scholarship girl, she honestly has no clue how she ended up here with all of these high society kids. Her friend Becca, the one who invited her, is one of the “elite thirteen” of Covington Industries. Becca is the first casualty of “Truth or Kill.” What was supposed to be a relaxing cabin in the mountain for Sydney is not at all what she gets when these heirs of the company are now turning on one another. There is also Kage, the man with the forest green eyes that Sydney cannot seem to stay away from. Will Kage help her or let her play this game along with the others? Everyone’s secrets are about to be revealed. Will Sydney survive or be just another pawn in their game?

This book is so sweet, cute, and romantic. Bonus is you get three almost four stories in one. First story the couple is set up by the book store owner. She swaps their packages on purpose so that they will have to seek each other out and exchange their purchases. Second couple is a divorced couple who still love each other very much and the matchmaker bookstore owner does what she can to meddle and get them back together again. The third part in this book is the Book store owners own happily ever after. All three of these stories are intertwined and the females all become very close friends. This is a great light hearted read that is just a real feel good story.

Very well written Historical romance, Isabella finds herself alone and wanting a husband so that she may start a family. She, like several of her friends learn about a mail order bride advertisement and so she finds an ad that sounds like a wonderful opportunity. After writing to the man several times she boards a train to meet him. This is where things start to take a turn. There are a few triggers in this story, to list them actually spoils the story so just know this book is not for the faint of heart.

I cannot resist a good dark romance, and this was one that everything rolled all into one. Suspense, murder, lust , and lots of drama. One invite changes it all for Sydney during her Spring Break. What started as a game turns out to be just as it states.. “Truth or Kill.” Sydney is alluring, confident, and intelligent. She was very blunt and honest and she was no fool at all during this book. When she meets Kage at the resort its instant that they have a connection. As a team up they begin to play the dangerous game knowing to play is to survive. The more they fight for survival the more they fall for each other in the process. While Sydney may be that wide eyed girl its clear that Kage is as anti-hero as they come. This story was a wild ride that will have you on edge until the end.

Debbie Cromack is a contemporary romance author who writes romantic, emotionally raw love stories with a lot of heart and a hint of steam. Her characters are realistic, flawed, and people you’d want to get to know. She’s been called the master of the SLOW BURN.
After spending 25+ years in corporate America, being the CEO of an event decorating company, and then an online business coach, she tried her hand at writing romance novels, publishing her debut novel at the age of 50, and has been writing ever since.
Fun facts: 1) She lived in Taiwan for ten years, 2) Her undergraduate degree is in psychology/sociology/anthropology with a minor in corporate communications and her MBA is in marketing…NONE of which help her in her author career, and 3) You’ll almost never hear her say the word, “hate” or the phrase, “It’s hard.”
When life has you down or feeling frantic, she challenges you to ask yourself, “Is this serving me?” And if the answer is, “No,” do your best to set it free and let it go.
She’s an Amazon international bestselling author and has been featured in Forbes.
The Personal Side of Debbie:
She has a bunny named Nutmeg, who’s quite the little snuggler. She also has two Nigerian dwarf goats, Patches and Tiny Tim, and many chickens.
She does her best to eat healthy and organic however, she does have a wicked sweet-tooth for chocolate and tries to only indulge on special occasions. Her biggest indulgence…hot cocoa!!

I really enjoyed this continuation of Morgan’s story! I love her personality and the way she interacts with the world around her. The people she has surrounded herself with are great too, and all of them are so unique and play a different role for her. The Wilkersons make me laugh with their very distinct but interesting personalities and the way they interact with her and those who know about or see them. The illustration of them and the much less tolerated Esmeralda was interesting in the way Morgan reacted to or related with them. It definitely was fabulous and I’m glad I continued it!
