Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls Book 1) by KG Fletcher – Review by Lauren West

Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #1)Faultless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Robyn and Teddy’s story will turn you inside. Emotional, beautiful, honest, and intense. The author did a great job with this story about second chances at love and life. Teddy went to prison for something beyond his control and at the same time lost he love of his life trying to be a better man. When he is released from prison and returns home he finds that not all is lost with his old gf Robyn, and she sticks by him like no time has past. As they experience this second chance together there are still obstacles that can make or break this love again…

Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls Book 1) by KG Fletcher – Review by Kaylee Johnston

Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #1)Faultless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Faultless Love was a second chance, small-town, steamy romance. Ted is a convicted felon on parole for a crime he didn’t commit. Robyn is his true high school sweetheart who has put her life on hold while he served his sentence. Things happen after Ted is released and there’s a chance he might be thrown back in jail.

The things I loved about this book are how cute the two are with each other, the plot was exciting, and it was hard to put the story down. I really enjoyed the connection among the family members and how the farm and everything were set up. It was very cute and entertaining.

The things I didn’t quite enjoy about the book were the way the prose was written, the way Ted talked about his sister, and how some of the things didn’t quite finish up. We didn’t get some things wrapped up around the plot. It was a bit of a weird wrap-up.

Overall, it was a decent story. I enjoyed reading the story and loved the couple. It was a cute story that had a bit of a kick to it. I enjoyed the tropes and the idea behind it. It was a good read for anyone who loves small towns, farms, and second chances.

Chase is a CEO who is used to getting what he wants – and even more so as a man connected to a powerful crime family. Once he sees Katarina, he sets his sights on having her, and his desire grows as he realizes who her father is.

Katarina is living her best life and focused on crushing her goals. Relationships are not currently on her list of those, and so she isn’t interested in Chase, even if she does feel sparks flying. However Chase is an assertive man. Now that he is aware of her connections to his dark world, protecting her becomes the goal he focuses on.

Although wildly attracted to one another, Chase struggles to maintain control and Katarina struggles to avoid becoming entangled with him too deeply. There are sweet moments of flirting and emails, passionate romantic scenes, plenty of mystery and suspense. Enjoyed watching the relationship grow.

This was a great 5 star read. I love bad boys and this one pulled me right in.
Both Paige and Beckett have some personal things going on. These two met in the past but fate brings them back together again. Can these two help each other?
The ups and downs these two encountered had me on an emotional rollercoaster. I really enjoyed both of these characters. The author does a great job with her writing. If your looking for a great read that pulls you in, 1-click and get started today.

Taming Beckett (The Playmakers Series Hockey Romances Book 1) by G.K. Brady – Review by Emily H

Taming Beckett (The Playmakers, #1)Taming Beckett by G.K. Brady
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Beckett Miller had the life he wanted, wealthy hotshot pro hockey star who could have anything he wanted. That is until it all came crashing down around a drug incident. Now his team has dropped him, he is sent to a new team, his money is gone and his reputation is a walking ad on what not to do.

Paige Anderson is married and running her own company, lately things with her husband have been fairly one sided. Then she finds out he has been cheating. Beckett himself reconnecting with Paige. She is his chance to get is money back. He wants more but Paige wants a friend, as they get closer can she put her trust in Beckett or will this be another big blow up in her life?

I enjoyed this one. Fast paced story with a strong story. I wondered what would happen with Beckett because he is a hot mess and it takes time for him to realize how completely he has derailed his life. Paige I felt for, she is a fascinating lead character. Great story.

Wow I love this book so much! Becketts life is going down hill. Paige has her own company but is also dealing with personal issues as well. But Beckett and Paige meet (again) when they really needed one another. The way the author wrote these characters had me in love with them from the very start. Beckett may seem reckless but I love him! The way this book took ahold of me, is unreal. This book is emotional and heartbreaking but it’s also full of love and positivity. People can do better if they really want too! Just because someone made a few bad decisions doesn’t mean they’re a bad person! This is the first book by G.K. Brady and I didn’t realize this was part of a series, so I can’t wait to read more! Highly highly recommend!!!!!!

Kate and chase have sparks flying from the very first interaction. The connection, the spark, the lust…it’s so intense! Kate doesn’t realize who Chase really is until later, but that doesn’t stop her from wanting him. He’s her boss at work but he’s also her boss when it comes to the bedroom 😉 Kate is inexperienced but that doesn’t stop her. She wants to learn and play and Chase is down to teach her everything sexual. The spice in this book is mouth watering! I can’t get enough of it. I love a romance book with awesome smutty scenes, but it also has to have a great story with it. I need that connection between the characters to really FEEL, and that’s what I got. Chase is also insanely sweet and you can tell how deeply he feels for Kate. He takes care of her in every single way. He notices the small things and that’s what gets Kate’s head spinning and heart thumping. She was doubting herself having a relationship with someone she works FOR, but she can’t stop what she’s feeling..and Chase reassures her everything will be okay. Chase has her interests in mind and he’s her protector. Simply perfect. Kate thinks his security is a bit overbearing but that’s just his way of showing he wants her to be safe, always. I LOOOOOOVE the characters, I love the plot, I just loved this book so much!!! I couldn’t put it down and read it in one sitting. Highly recommend!

Kamana Wanalaya by Susan Renee – Review by Erin DeRoma

Kamana Wanalaya for the HolidaysKamana Wanalaya for the Holidays by Susan Renee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A fantastic beachy holiday read. I have never spent a holiday anywhere warm, unless New England happens to be unusually warm, but reading this I was instantly transported there. At first when I read the Title, I was having trouble figuring out the pronunciation, then I said it out loud and instantly started laughing out loud. I couldn’t wait to dive in and it literally started delivering first sentence!
I don’t even know where to begun on how much I enjoyed this book. I loved the characters, they were relatable and enjoyable to spend my time with. I wasn’t able to read this in one sitting but if things like taking care of children and going to work didn’t get in the way I could have easily sat and devoured this book.
If you are lucky enough to go somewhere warm and tropical this holiday season and need a poolside/beach read this is it!
If you’re like me and just need to mentally escape to somewhere warm, this is it!

Snow in Love by Libby Kay – Review by Erin DeRoma

Snow in LoveSnow in Love by Libby Kay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The perfect quick read to get you in the holiday spirit. Snow in Love by Libby Kay is a short and sweet (and a little bit spicy) Christmas Read!
I was hooked just after a few pages and read it in one sitting. I was engaged from beginning to end. I really enjoyed the characters. The story was cute.
This is honestly the perfect read to curl up by the fire with a mug of Hot Cocoa and snuggle under a cozy blanket.
The story was short, but it was honestly perfect, nothing felt rushed or dragged out.
So if you are looking for a holiday themed read, this is a great one.

Katarina is too focused on her career and has no time for a romantic life, even one that ignites her darkest desires. With a dreamy romantic location for her next work retreat, she might find herself not in control of her own destiny. Katarina is faced with saving a man’s life and a hot man who steps in to help her. Chase walks into the bar to hear the commotion of someone giving a man CPR. He goes to offer his help when he finds an attractive woman who is performing CPR. Chase and Katarina become pretty inseparable but Chase happens to be the CEO of the big company that will be working with Katarina on the new project. Katarina has no clue how much her falling in love with Chase will really change her life.
This is the first book I have read by this author but it won’t be the last book. I can’t wait to continue reading this series.
