Roberts This author is amazing that can spin an amazing story that talks about real problems not fake. I have read a few of this authors books and her books just get better. The characters are well written and amazing the love the little quirks these characters have. Do you believe in second chances? Do you believe in that all-consuming love? Do you think love can last decades without even seeing each other? This is the story about Rafe and Lauren fell in love when they were young and do to circumstances where torn apart. Now decades later he’s back and wants only one thing and that’s Lauren. He shatter all their dreams all those years ago by walking away from Lauren and she wants nothing to do with me. Can he repair the broken pieces he crushed, but she doesn’t want them mended. But when a cruel twist of fate puts her back in his arms, he will not let go again. He was her everything until he broke her heart how can she trust him with her forever? I highly recommend this book/series By Tracy @tracy

This is so heartwarming and uplifting! A story of overcoming obstacles and long lost love. This book is one that will keep me coming back to read over and over. I love how it slowly uncovers all the problems, the passion and the reasoning. So so much history here. Hearts have been crushed, relationships have been cut off and tears have been cried. It’s amazing how much the past dictates the future and you don’t even realize it until your older. Then one day BAM!
These characters made me smile one minute then turn around and be sad the next. I kind of admire Rafferty. Once he realizes how much he has missed and loves Lauren he vows to never give her up again. His comment at one time is how she was not a fleeting thought through the missing years. She was a monthly, daily and every second thought. Awwww! He is a man who goes after what he wants!
The secondary characters usually help make a book in my opinion. In here we have the rest of the band members (Brody, Cade, Luke)as well as the other besties (Winter and Amy). They all did wonderful but I have to say one of the BEST ones was Flint. He added his own brand of UMPH! to the story. I really just loved everything about this character. His scenes were unforgettable!
Not my first read by this author and it won’t be the last. I enjoy her stories. In this series The author intermixed scenes from the last book (Brody) and this one. Same scene just from another characters POV. I have read this before (in other books) and find it Interesting what the characters are thinking and reacting to from previous books. So I would highly recommend reading Brody first as it is amazing as well! I eagerly look forward to Cade’s story.

The story Rafferty (Default Distraction Book 2) by A.S. Roberts is a contemporary romance book. It is a story that hooked me in and didn’t let me go until I had read the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Rafferty and Lauren. Lauren is a woman who owns a successful business. She is also a woman whose heart was at one time broken. She has worked hard at rebuilding her life. Then she once again faces the man that broke her heart, Rafferty. Rafferty is part of the rock band Default Distraction. He is handsome and is adored by fans. The only one he has adored is Lauren. She is still the one he wants. What does the future hold for Lauren and Rafferty? There is still a connection and chemistry between them. Will she take a second chance with him? Read this book to find out. This story does have steamy moments that make the temperature in the room rise. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading. I couldn’t help but care about Lauren and Rafferty and wanted them to find happiness. I also enjoyed reading about the other characters and how they interact with Rafferty and Lauren. There are both heartbreaking and heartwarming moments in this book. Highly recommended reading.

Rafferty by A.S. Roberts a five-star read that will make you see music. This is the second novel in the Default Distraction series, and it has gone from strength to strength, I would say you could read it as stand-alone, but don’t as you will fall in love so hard with the boys you will need to go back and read Brody. Rafferty will warm even the coldest of hearts, this story proves just how love can concur all, it may not be the right time or place, but you fate will play its turn in the end. I have long been a huge fan of the author and this just proved again how amazing a writer she is, Lauren was someone I warmed to immediately and her battle brought tears to my eyes more times than I care to admit. This was a compelling story and one I won’t forget anytime soon, I can’t wait for Cade an Luke, even if its so we see more of Flint, Brie and Biscuit. Thank you for being amazing and bringing these great characters to life.

Rafferty by A.S. Roberts is Book two in the Default Distraction series. This is Rafferty and Lauren’s story and I hope you are prepared for an emotional ride. With the devastation of their past relationship along with the need to be near her how can Raff make things right after so many years. Lauren and Raff have a lone complicated history, they were each other’s first love and heart beak but it’s Soo much more with them. Add in a failed marriage and a 14 year old son, Raff has a lot to make up for when it comes to Lauren. You feel for Lauren throughout the whole story, and Raff you want to see him work for it and prove himself but at the same time you want to throat punch him for being so stupid. Will Raff finally tell the truth as to why everything happened, because no one knows his reasoning for leaving all those years ago. When Lauren needed him the most.
This is the second book in this series, I enjoyed it just as much as the first. I enjoy how this author is able to pull me in right from the beginning and keep me engaged until the end. This is Lauren and Rafferty’s story and an emotional one at times. They have history with each other and heartbreak. Will fate allow them to have a second chance? They are true to life, lovable and have great chemistry. They made me feel as if I was part of their story. I highly recommend this book.

Brody by A.S. Roberts is Book one in the Default Distraction series. Brody and Amy each have their own issues to over come from their pasts. Brody wants the one thing he has never had someone who sees him for him. Amy is more standoffish when it comes to trusting people, she’s been let down one to many times. Brody and Amy have an interesting relationship (if you would call it that) at the beginning. I have read a couple of books from this talented author but she continues to blow my mind. This is the first book to Default Distraction series and wow what a great start. I absolutely love rock star romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. I was hooked to this story right from the beginning. It only took me a day to devour this incredible book.
Brody Daniels had a very hard childhood but now he is the lead singer of a huge rock band. He has it all money, women, and fast cars but he feels like something is missing. Brody wants something real. He knows that all his fame can be taken away. Brody is out for a walk to clear his head and he comes across this cute shop. He can’t help but to go inside. Brody meets the beautiful Amy Harper. He is shocked at how he feels for her. Brody can’t get enough of Amy. They get to know each other and they quickly realize they might have found the one. Will Amy be able to be in the spotlight like Brody or will it be too much for this small town girl? Will Brody convince Amy to take a chance with him or will his past try to destroy it all?
I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, doubts, forgiveness, and love. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters. Brody is a hot rockstar but deep down he wants the simple life. He loves what he does and he doesn’t take it for granted. The way he treats Amy will make your heart melt. Amy is a sweetheart. She loves her shop that she shares with her grandma but she wants something more. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. Brody was an amazing steamy romance. Amy and Brody both came from broken families and a messed up past. They each have their own methods in protecting themselves from heartache. When they meet though, the chemistry is unbelievable. I loved reading about each of their characters and history as the storyline progressed. Speaking of the storyline, I found it easy to follow and difficult to put down. It really seemed to flow from one scene to the next. I look forward to reading more in this series.

Brody by A.S. Roberts is the first book in the Default Distraction series. If you like all things music and rock and roll then this is definitely a book for you. Surely if you have everything anyone could dream of then you must be happy, right? Wrong. At least it is for Brody Daniels, lead singer of the chart topping US rock band Default Distraction. He is bored of the lifestyle, of the cars, the money, the women. But more than anything he is bored of the pretence. Of convincing everyone that he is happy all the time. He wants something more from his life. Something more than he can get from the music and the fame. Amy Harper on the other hand definitely has something more. She has more debt than he will ever have. She has more struggles with her business than he will ever have. And she has definitely had more than enough of it all. So what happens when the two of them meet? What happens when their worlds collide? Can they go back to their realities? Or can they push for something more, together? This book has everything you could possible want. Hot rock star? Check. Strong woman? Check. Of the charts chemistry? Double check! I absolutely loved Brody and Amy together. I felt their connection and their chemistry from the instant they met. I found myself being swept away by their attraction. And this book wasn’t all about the connection. The story was such a good one because it was so relatable – we have all at one point or another wanted something more than we had. Even if we should have been happy with what we had. The writing keeps pace with this story beautifully and really holds your attention. Anyone who wants to be swept away needs to buy this book immediately.

Who doesn’t love a good Rocker Book, and let me tell you, Default Distraction series. Brody is book one by A.S. Roberts and she does NOT disappoint AT ALL!
Default Distraction is the leading band in the US and they all can have anything and everything money can buy them. Brody who is the lead singer in the band loves his band and loves his lie but he is craving something so much more than just fame. He and his bandmates decide to remodel a hotel in a quaint village and one day while running, she sees a beautiful women and right away he feels drawn to her. Amy lives with her Nan and works in her shop. Brody comes into her shop one day and she notices that his accent is English, and when she finally she’s knows she has never seen someone as handsome as him or someone whose voice awakens something inside her. Amy has been hurt in the past and Brody has never wanted someone to see him for him as he does with Amy. Follow these two on a path that will not disappoint.
I highly recommend this book, there is never a dull moment and the sparks with Amy and Brody will leave you speechless. Roberts has given us a rocker romance like no other have read. Her words simply drag you into the story and don’t let you go. The other character introduced show me we are in store for even more amazing reads!!!! This is a five star read that everyone can just dive into!!

Brody is the first book in the Default Distraction series by A.S. Roberts. If this first book is anything to go by, then this series is going to be right up there with my favourites. This is the first time I have read anything by this author and I’m so glad I took the chance with this book. Heroine of the book is Amy Harper. Abandoned by her mother at the age of 10, Amy has been brought up by her Nan Vera. Now 33 and running her Nan’s failing shop, Amy just doesn’t let guys in. She has a huge wall built around her heart as she thinks everyone will eventually leave her. Brody Daniels is the singer of top rock band Default Distraction. Like Amy, his mother walked out when he was a child. The HOT rock star, with a body like sin has women falling at his feet and he most certainly does not do the relationship thing. Woman are for one thing only. So why does everything he’s ever stood for totally change just by one glance of Amy? Circumstances bring Amy and Brody together many times and the chemistry is sparking. Amy has no idea who he is (she thinks his name is Daniel) and Brody is ecstatic that Amy likes him as him, and not as Brody Daniels, singer of DD). Amy with her issues, keeps trying to run but Brody just won’t take no for an answer. As Amy finally gives into her feelings she finds out that Brody is not the guy she thought he was. Will Amy be able to forgive Brody for not being honest with her? I absolutely adored this book. Brody and Amy are both so flawed but so prefect for each other. This story was beautiful and entertaining, backed up with fantastic support characters, who I’m sure will be the subject of the remaining books in this series. Books that I can’t wait to read.

I love love love rockstar romances. Brody and Amy’s story was one to add to my list. I did not know what to expect when I went into this book. It was so much more that what I thought it would be. When I was reading I honesty wanted more. I felt very greedy.
Brody is now on my book boyfriend list! I also found Amy quite relatable and loveable. I mean I’m sure we have all been there with an endless amount of debt!
I honestly could not get enough of this book. Highly recommend to anyone. I am so glad this book exists!

Brody (Default Distraction Book 1) by A.S. Roberts is a beautiful romance story and one that will keep you thinking about the book long after you have put it down. This is the first story in the series and if the others are like this then sign me up but do it quickly as I hate waiting. A.S. has written a winner with her amazing characters and vibrant details that make the story pop off the page. It’s the little things that count and A.S. does it so well. The main characters just ooze that sex appeal, I mean who doesn’t love a Rockstar, one who you become their whole life. And let me tell you the romp between the sheets and anywhere else is sooooo sexy and steamy and boy, I will just step out for a ciggy to cool down. Trust me ladies you do not want to miss this one.

Brody by A. S. Roberts is a five star novel. This is the first installment of the Default Distraction series. Default Distraction is also the name of the band where Brody is the lead singer. He has it all, at least that’s how it seems on the outside. But all the money in the world can’t buy you happiness and contentment with your life. How is he supposed to keep on keeping on and pretending that life is great when he is miserable? He knows what will make him happy and he is out to secure that. When he meets Amy, randomly, he knows now that she is the one for him. Her life is upside down and she feels like nothing is going right. She knows this boy that she meets is not a good fit for her but something draws her to him anyway. Watching the two of them fight and work through hardships makes me believe anything is possible!

A.S. Roberts’ Brody is the first in the Default Distraction series. This contemporary romance was an excellent read and kick-off to the series. I loved Brody’s character and how he fits within different dynamics. He’s a box waiting to be opened and discovering all the wonderful treasures inside. Pair him with Amy, the options instantly turned limitless. There was humor, disappointment, compassion and many more emotionally aspects built into the pages of this story that made it perfectly heartwarming and a pleasure to read. Along the way, the author gives us glimpses of supporting characters and potential pairings for upcoming books within the series. This is absolutely one of those that I will be anxiously awaiting to read what’s next.
Brody by A.S. Roberts a five-star read that will distract you. This is the first book in the Default Distraction series and the rest of the band and books can’t come soon enough. The old adage money can’t buy you happiness has never been in a position where you only have 3 items bought in your shop all day and bills that need paying, but on the other hand even when you have more than you will ever need like a Rockstar who rules the world doesn’t mean you will be happy either. But when you have chemistry that blows your socks off, money is the last thing on your mind. I love of the little details in this story, the description of a blue pair of gloves, the rolling of pastry the simple things that make the story have a depth that will suck you in and a heat that will melt even the coldest of hearts. A.S. Roberts I didn’t think you could better the Fated series, but you surprised me, you even made me a happy lady with a great wedding that brought a tear to my eye.

Brody by A.S. Roberts was my first book by this author. This love at first sight rocker romance was a great read and boy did it have some steamy sex scenes; who loves a good dirty talking lead singer – THIS GIRL!
Brody first laid eyes on Amy at her Nan’s shop then after a few little accidents; he couldn’t stay away from her. Brody loved the fact that Amy didn’t know that he was a famous rock-star and wanted her to get to know the real Brody. And we all know that this decision is going to backfire on him at some point.
I hate to say this but I took me some time to get into this book at first, but by the end, I was so glued to my kindle. I am so looking forward to reading more from this series, I see some very interesting things about to happen.

This is a superb Rockstar romance that had me captivated right from the very first page. It’s full of passion, some suspense, drama, secrets, emotion, romance, chemistry, humour, and all the elements necessary to make this a riveting read. Amy Harper has had her fair share of heartache, it has left her wary of getting close to anyone, because then she couldn’t be hurt when she was cast aside in the end. She has her beloved grandmother, a few close friends, and the little shop she holds so dear. The business is struggling to keep afloat, but Amy really hopes to somehow find a way to turn things around. In her small community in rural England, everyone knows everyone, so she is surprised when a sexy stranger finds his way into her shop. She’s intrigued by him and can’t seem to get him off her mind, long after he’s gone. With Christmas just around the corner, and her shop closing for the holidays, her cousin persuades her to help out at the opening of the newly renovated Manor, an historic old estate that has been converted into a luxury hotel. There is sooo much to love about this book, I really feel that I am not doing it the justice that it truly deserves. You really should read it for yourself and discover all the deliciously sexy details for yourself. Ms. Roberts writes so beautifully- she has a real talent for getting her story and characters to really connect with the reader, pulling them in and captivating them with her words. The energy and tension she is able to create in her stories, and between the characters, is truly masterful. I can’t imagine anyone reading her stories and not enjoying every word. The characters are really well written, full developed and wonderfully endearing. I loved everything about them. I also felt for them, my heart ached hearing their back stories and I wanted to give them both a massive hug. I loved meeting all the secondary characters as well, and watching some of the groundwork being laid out here for their own stories in the future. I can’t wait to read every intriguing detail!! This book has a great pace, there isn’t a dull moment to be found anywhere- it flows smoothly and is a joy to read. But be prepared for a book binge, as you won’t want to put it down! I read it in one session, staying up long past my bedtime just so I didn’t have to put it down before knowing what would happen. Bring on book two!

Undeniable is the fourth book in the Fated series by A.S. Roberts. It is just as good as the previous books in this series and I was happy to read another book from A.S. and the world she has created with these wonderful hot, alpha male characters and their women. I enjoy reading A.S. works and she never disappoints.
Jack has demons and the only way he overcome them, even if for a little while is by fighting. But when he meets a young shy women, she maybe the one who keeps the demons at bay.
Lily has led a sheltered life and everything she thought she knew has been twisted on it’s head when she sets out to find a life of her own. But she soon finds herself in a living nightmare, one she can not seem to wake up from.
Grab a good drink and a comfy chair, as this is a book that once you start, you will not be able to stop. There are so many emotions to deal with as you walk in the seedier side of this story. Undeniable could be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the other books in the series as you understand where all the characters come into play.
This story had me in tears and ready to throw my phone. How one person can endure so much pain and suffering. Lily is this out of touch young girl who is finally getting some freedom. She wasn’t looking for love but it found her in the form of Jack. Who is a smart guy but is truly a bad boy. I enjoyed this story because it was so raw. The emotions you feel from hearing Lily’s pain and all her despair. You don’t just get a happy ever after you get a story full of ups and downs. You get to see the pain and joy that we all experience in everyday life. The author did an amazing job bringing these characters alive. They were given so much depth that this could be based on a true story. I couldn’t get enough of Jack and his bad boy ways that hide his intelligence. I felt really bad for Lily and how she was raised and how little she knew of the outside world. This is a must read the story will have you ready to beat someone for all the injustice.
Irrevocable is the third book in the Fated series by A.S. Roberts that is an contemporary romance with mystery and suspense, action and intrigue. A.S. Roberts books are eroticlly romantic with sexy alpha men who are hot and large and in charge. I suggest you read the books in order so you learn more about the loveable characters and the world A.S. has so wonderfully written.
John Edwards doesn’t do feelings and that makes him good at his job and being good at his job that is why he is head of security for the Blackmore’s. When he and his team are called to take care of extended family, his plans to do everything by the book are lost when he sets his sights on one of his charges.
Jasmin Carpenter is content with her life. She loves her dog and the cottage that has ties to her heart. But when a stranger shows up late at night, little does she know that her life will never be the same.
Who doesn’t like a good adventure story with twists and turns and enough romance that will make you blush.

Inevitable is the second book in the Fated series by A.S. Roberts and is every bit as great as the first book. This is a sexy, steamy romance that will leave you wanting more as we delve into love, loss and bearing your soul of one person’s past. A.S. has the knack to make the characters feel real and quickly draws you into the world in which she weaves and what a ride it is.
Bella is unable to move forward until she deals with her past. A past that has been hanging over her head for far too long. A past she needs to face head on. But in doing so will she have missed out on the most important thing in her life? Will time have gotten in the way of love and leave her with nothing?
Nathan is on sexy man on wheels but he has not been the same since the only thing that matters walked out of his life. He can have who ever he wants but what he wants he can’t have. What he needs isn’t in reach. What he craves can not be seen.
A.S. has become one of my favourite authors and I can’t wait to see what is next in this wonderful series.

FATED is the first book in the Fated series by A.S. Roberts and boy was it good. It is definitely a emotional roller coaster ride but a great story. One minute I was laughing out loud then I was crying. I enjoyed reading A.S’s work because you feel like you are a character in the book and the world in which she weaves for these wonderful characters and the little bit of suspense hanging in the background keeps you hooked.
Alex Blackmore is one hunk-a-licious alpha ex-military businessman who has always loved from afar and taken care of what is his.
Frankie Jones decides a once in a lifetime job offer and being reunited with her bestie is too hard to resist but just who is the elusive Mr Alex Blackmore? And what does she mean to him? Why pick her?
This is one book not to pass up. Did I not mention hot, alpha males. Throw in a lot of sexiness and romance and the sparks will fly.

This is the second book in A.S. Roberts Fated series. I guess you could read it as a stand-alone as the prologue gives you some background into Bella and Nate’s story so you don’t feel lost but just to say, for you to really get the full experience and the nuances, you really should read the first book before starting on this one! Ms Roberts did not disappoint me, I have to admit that originally I had planned to read the book over the weekend but I could not wait once I had finished the first book so I just dived into it and only came up for air when I had to go to bed so I could go to work the next day! It was an amazingly well written story of family loyalty, unconditional love, abuse, control, the folly of youth with harsh consequences, peppered with steamy moments and tattoos and seedy motels and … I am sure you get my drift! It was an emotional ride and I cried and I laughed and I swore and cheered and cringed in horror! It felt very real! The writer touches upon many sensitive but oh so important issues that many of us encounter in our daily lives, thank you for giving us all hope and the knowing that the answer to the question “how late is too late?” is NEVER! I am looking forward to the third book in the series as I really liked whatever I have learned about Jasmine and John Edwards! I am sure it will be as a rollercoaster as Bella and Nathan’s story was! Here’s to my book hangover!

Fated by A.S. Roberts is her debut novel and the first one in the series called … Fated! It is a contemporary love story filled with unexpected discoveries that blow you out of water and you feel lost like Frankie. I got hooked on the story from the first page as it rose my curiosity, the writer is great at spinning a story filled with secrets and flawed protagonists that steal your heart. I spent my whole last Sunday with Frankie and Alex and Nathan and Bella (who are getting their own story next). I cried and I cursed, I chuckled and laughed out loud, I mourned and I hoped. The characters seemed so real – they struggle with their past, the control, the secrets … there is something for everyone in this book! I lived in the UK for some years and I absolutely loved the British English that was peppered throughout the book, in no way felt it clunky, the story flowed beautifully – I felt like being back over there and having a cup of tea and a scone with clotted cream and jam! I think something that will remain with me is what was on the note Alex included along with the flowers he sent to Frankie – “A person’s strength isn’t shown by how much they can take before they break. A person’s strength is shown by how much they can take after they have already broken.” What an amazing thought that the writer gifted us with and that we can draw strength from when in despair. I know what I am going to read next! I have the second book lined up on my Kindle – Bella and Nathan’s story! Cannot wait!

This is my first read by Ms. Roberts and it was great from the get go, loved the style of writing and the characters this is such an awesome captivating read I can’t wait to get my teeth into this authors next works. This story filled me with so many emotions. I laughed out loud, cried, fell in love, had my heart broken, was frustrated along with the characters and I also felt their joy. Frankie has known loss and disappointment in her life. She finally has the opportunity to shine and help others. Her latest job has brought her back to the States, where she decides letting go of her grief and moving on is exactly what the doctor ordered and her life will be forever changed. She comes face to face with a sexy and irresistible blast from her past; she realizes that this time she just can’t walk away.
Alex Blackmore is an assertive and controlling CEO, who is shackled to obligations the obligations he didn’t necessarily want. But now that Frankie is back in his life, he knows exactly what he does want and will have her. As their relationship intensifies, Alex’s worlds collide and their past resurfaces, threatening to destroy what they’re both working toward letting go and moving on. Can Frankie and Alex fight their demons and embrace the future they’re FATED for?
I instantly connected with Frankie, and Alex they were strong independent characters that you can’t help but love. The supporting characters of Bella and Nathan rounded out the story perfectly. There is a small glimpse into Bella and Nathan’s lives that will make you want more of their story. Lucky for us, they will be getting their own book coming soon.
