Moonlit Kiss : A Venice Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley
Once again Ms.McKinley delivers a book that I throughly enjoyed from start to finish. The setting of Venice is perfect and I think Italy is higher on my list of places to visit one day.
I had such a hard time putting this book down and dropped my kindle on my face a few times wanting to get a little further and see what is going to happen and I wasn’t disappointed.
I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.

Moonlit Kiss : A Venice Romance is the second novel in the Moonlit Destination Series by Amy McKinley. This novel takes you to Venice and to Rome all in one novel. The love story is just so touching it makes the reader believe in true love. A mystery as to who two of the characters play out over time and when they meet each other again, it’s like they haven’t lost a day. Amy McKinley is a wonderful and talented author. Every time I pick up on of her novels, I know that I’m in for a treat. This novel can be read as a standalone. I do recommend this wonderful historic modern romance.

Moonlit Kiss : A Venice Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley
I have to admit that this is one of my favorite authors. The mix of romance and suspence is just so balanced. I just don’t want to put the book down. I am hooked from page one. The characters just come to life and I can feel as though I am right there with them. She really brings the locations into vivid reality.
I like how the chemistry between the two main characters is and how the drama unfolds around them. I also like how the book has a great balance. There is just enough suspence to keep you at the edge of your seat and enough romance to melt your heart. I look forward to reading more from this author.
Moonlit Kiss: A Venice Romance is part of the Moonlit Destination Series by Amy McKinley. Set in the beautiful setting of Venice, American Gianna, an accomplished artist, is hired to restore an incomplete mural on the side of her employer’s home. From the moment she steps foot in the city she starts to feel as though she has been here before, finding a familiarity on the streets and waterways. The longer she stays in the city the more she starts to connect with the heart-breaking mystery behind the unfinished painting and finds herself falling for the descendant of the artist himself, Italian doctor Sergio. This is a really enjoyable book; the descriptions of the setting really help picture the scene and the character development is excellent. Would recommend to fans of this genre.

I am already a huge fan of this author, but I think this is my favourite book so far. I was hooked right from the start by the beautiful descriptions of Venice, I was transported to Italy and dreamed of listening to orchestras. The storyline will keep you drawn in right to the end. I loved the wonderful characters, and there was tonnes of chemistry.
I would definitely recommend this book and author, especially if you are yet to read anything by Amy.

Moonlit Kiss: A Venice Romance by Amy McKinley is one of the books in the Moonlit Destination Series written by the author. From the start, I felt like I was in Venice with Gianna experiences the city. The feeling kept me reading more of the story because it was so captivating. The characters are well written and make the story even better. The romance between Gianna and Sergio captured my heart. Add in the mystery of ghosts and the history of Gianna and Sergio makes it even more exciting.

Mesmerizing! Amy McKinley has done it again with this gem of a novel. Right away, I was transported to Venice, taking in all the sights, and felt as though I was personally walking through those cobbled streets. She describes the setting in which Gianna visits immaculately, and as the story progresses, you are thrown deeper into not only Venice, but the character’s lives, artwork, and relationships she builds. This novel was certainly a page turner, and I was sad when it came to an end. I must admit, just because I finished reading it, doesn’t mean it’s left my thoughts. Venice will be added to my travel bucket list. Thank you, for allowing me to fulfill my wanderlust without leaving my home. Highly recommend!

Moonlit Kiss is unlike anything I have read by Amy McKinley. It is not at all what I expected, but I loved it none the less. It is part of the Moonlit Destinations Series, but is a stand alone book. Like all the other McKinley books I have read, it is a romantic story with a twist of mystery suspense. What sets this book apart from the others, is the twist of history and ghosts. It tells the story of Gianna and Sergio meeting and falling in love with Venice. However, it is intertwined with the past romance of their distant relatives. The writing is very graphic, and I was able to envision the neighborhood and houses, despite never being to Venice or even really seeing pictures of it. The characters are all personable and I would love to see spin off stories to develop the neighbors, perhaps as a prequel, since there is so much history there. There was a lot of interesting twists along the way that I didn’t expect. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but highly recommend this book, and all of McKinley’s books.

I absolutely adored this book! I think it is definitely up there with one of my favourite reads of 2021. I do love this author and have read so many of her books but this one just captured my heart from the very beginning. The writing was just so, so beautiful – it really was an absolute pleasure to read. The authors descriptive language and how she describes the beautiful setting of Italy made me feel like I was right there with the characters. Gianna and Sergio’s story was so beautiful and believable, they had a really genuine connection. I would absolutely recommend this book to other readers!

This was beautifully written. I fell in love with Gianna and Sergio instantly. What girl hasn’t dreamed of following her heart and it being exactly where she needs to be. I’ve never thought about visiting Venice before, but now I feel like I have. Goodness. This just made my heart happy. The suspense and the love just fit perfectly. This is a stand alone but i beg for you to read all of them! You wont regret it!

Moonlit Kiss: A Venice Romanfe by Amy McKinley is part of the Moonlit Destination series. As with all of this authors books I absolutely loved this one. I engaged with the story straight away and fell in love with the characters. Their story just felt so romantic from the moment I started reading. I thought the author did a great job of capturing what I always imagine the essence of Venice to be – love and romance. The story was easy flowing and just a joy to read. No matter which book I read by this author it never fails to entertain me entirely. This is a fantastic book and one I would highly recommend.

I enjoyed this suspenseful romance story. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites so far. I never hesitate to pick up this author’s books. They are well written and her attention to details give the story a realistic feel. This book is no different. I enjoyed being pulled in from the beginning. It is a fast paced story that the characters keep engaged and turning pages. This is a story about Gianna and Sergio. She gets her dream job and moves to Italy but once she is there she gets the feeling that she has been here before. She meets Sergio and the relationship grows. When she realizes she is missing a panel for her restoration job she turns to Sergio for help. She finds herself struggling with destiny and he finds himself struggling to convince her that the future is with them. What will happen with them and the missing panel? I enjoyed watching their relationship grow throughout the story. They made great characters and truly made the story for me. I highly recommend reading their story to find out what happens to them at the end.

Moonlit Kiss (A Venice Romance) (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley
5 Stars
I loved the first two of the Moonlit Destination series and this one is no different, it was a one sitting read for me as the story kept me wrapped from page one. This author has a way of transporting you to wherever the stories take place. I’m pretty sure I’ll never visit Venice although I’d love to, but came away from reading this book feeling as if I had been right there with Gianna and Sergio the whole way. Their story was unique and the romance felt real and like it happened naturally. This is my favorite of all of them so far as I felt like I connected a little quicker and literally could not put it down.
I will read anything by this author. She writes romantic suspense like no other and although I like her longer novels and series a bit more this one still holds true and stays consistent with the awesome writing style I’ve come to know by this author.
They can all be read as standalones but I highly recommend reading them all!

When artist and conservator Gianna Bellini lands a dream job in Venice to restore and complete a century-old fresco painting, she packs her bags and hops the first flight to Italy. But as she walks the cobbled streets with eerie familiarity, she comes to the revelation that she has been to the floating city before—just not in this lifetime.
Handsome Venetian native Sergio Vitale rescues Gianna from a chilling plunge after a misstep at a canal-side café. As their budding relationship deepens, so does her progress on the restoration job—except the fresco painting’s missing a panel. She turns to Sergio for help. The closer they get to discovering the unfinished design, the more Gianna is tormented by vivid dreams and haunting whispers where century-old Venetians have met their end.
In a city where the past and present walk hand in hand, Gianna struggles against destiny while Sergio fights for a future that includes her in it.
Moonlit Kiss is a standalone romantic suspense, complete with an HEA.

For me, this was the most beautiful book I’ve read in quite awhile. This book was beautiful as it brought to light just what makes Italy a great country. The scenes bring you closer to being in Italy itself as the author’s words transcend you there through the pages. The story wrapped around the scenery draws you in.
