Very fast-paced romance. The characters felt real and relatable. I liked the instant connection between them. I felt as though the author did a good job portraying all the emotions and turmoil they had to go through. Nicely done.

Even though there were books that came before these (The Hawthorne Chronicles) I felt like I could understand everthing that was going on. Exhilarating storylines and amazing characters. I’m definitely going to be reading more by this author and plan to read the books before these so I can re-go over these books.

A fun, quick read. I’ve been enjoying baking romances lately so this hit just the right spot for me. It was well written and the description of the town sounded really quaint. Loveable characters and good chemistry. Definitely a page-turner for me.

Absolutely loved this story. Hot, steamy and transported me right into the story. This author’s fantastic writing hit me hard. Ended on a massive cliffhanger and I can’t wait to find out what happens next. This definitely won’t be my last from this author. A new one-click author for me.

Excellent world building and real relatable characters. I liked the history element mixed with the fantasy. A lot of messages about cause and effect with a clear statement – you can’t change the past. Really fast paced and I couldn’t wait to find out what happened.

I enjoyed the storyline of this but I did feel like it dragged a little too much for me. It was something different and not bad for a debut novel. Though I felt as if the pacing was off and for me I couldn’t quite connect with it. I liked the relatable characters and it was quite sweet.

I was really intrigued but unfortunately it fell a little flat for me. Not sure if it was a me thing or a book thing but I just couldn’t get into the storyline and the characters were just unappealing to me. It wasn’t a bad book but just my personal taste. The romance was quite sweet though.

This was a little bit different. Rather than one story it was two. I feel as though the genre was a little misplaced here. I expected more of a mystery element to it. It was really sweet though. It did give good character backgrounds but I would’ve liked to have seen these a bit more developed than what they were. I felt like it was just lacking something. Maybe not the right read for me *shrugs*.

Started really slowly but eventually got into it. I liked the twist on fairytales but found the cursing a little uncomfortable to deal with. The book was an okay read and I’m sure others will love it but it just wasn’t for me. Unfortunately I won’t be continuing the series.

Quite enjoyable start to the Cliff Walk Cousins series. Even though this features characters from another series it also reads as a standalone. I felt I could follow along quite easily. I liked the world building and how close the characters are. For me personally I wish it would have been a little more in depth.

This was my first book by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This book came with all the feels and was a nice slow burn relationship which is a nice change from all the insta love stories out there. I really got to grips with the characters and the storyline was excellent. I’m excited to pick up more books by this author.

This was a really fun read. I liked the characters and there definitely a few funny moments. It was an incredibly sweet romance. The author’s passion for writing definitely shines through with this book. Full of trials and tribulations for the characters but this book also had a load of heart. I liked the fact that the characters were really strong and well developed. Too many times I read books that have weak characters in them. This was like a breath of fresh air.

Really well written characters. It’s not often you see character development this well made. Very angsty, very emotional. You could feel everything with these characters and I just wanted to bundle them up and protect them from everything that was going on. Definitely an author I’m going to keep an eye on in the future.

I was impressed with how the author had the character handle various situations. It showed real empathy and depth. Fantastic world building and the book dealt with complex emotions. For a middle grade/YA I was not expecting this. It was so much more. This was the first book I’ve tried from this author but definitely won’t be the last.

Road Rage (OUTLAW, #4)Road Rage by Karina Kantas
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I had no trouble reading this book without reading the rest in the series. However, some things like the pacing felt slightly off. We jumped into the action slowed down then jumped back into action again. It didn’t feel like there was a curve more like a start and stop.

However, I still really loved the storyline and the strong female character in this story was really well written. Honestly, I would like to try more books from this author to get really get a feel for her work as it feels like she has more to give than what we could grasp in this book.

The cover immediately drew me in. An absolutely stunning piece of art.

This was my first book ever by this author but I must say I was impressed by the sheer exquisiteness of world-building in this book.

The characters were relatable and I liked the mystery element mixed in with the regency romance, a genre I don’t usually tend to pick up. Will definitely be trying more in this genre.

The storyline was nicely written and kept me interested throughout. Will be looking forward to trying more from this author.
