This was so unusual. I’m usually a bit shaky with shifters but I wound up liking this a lot. The character development is unlike anything else. Throughly enjoyed. I would really be interested to see what else this author comes out with as I see a big future ahead for them. 100% original and entertaining. A real good read.

A very sweet historical romance.
Really immersive to the point where you could actually imagine yourself there.
The characters were really well written. The chemistry between them was perfect.
This is the first book I’ve read by this author but I will be keeping an eye on future works.
A Hundred Wishes by Marianne Rice

Really well written characters. It’s not often you see character development this well made. Very angsty, very emotional. You could feel everything with these characters and I just wanted to bundle them up and protect them from everything that was going on. Definitely an author I’m going to keep an eye on in the future.
The Worry Knot by Mary Evanson Bleckwehl

I was impressed with how the author had the character handle various situations. It showed real empathy and depth. Fantastic world building and the book dealt with complex emotions. For a middle grade/YA I was not expecting this. It was so much more. This was the first book I’ve tried from this author but definitely won’t be the last.
Road Rage by Karina Kantas
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I had no trouble reading this book without reading the rest in the series. However, some things like the pacing felt slightly off. We jumped into the action slowed down then jumped back into action again. It didn’t feel like there was a curve more like a start and stop.
However, I still really loved the storyline and the strong female character in this story was really well written. Honestly, I would like to try more books from this author to get really get a feel for her work as it feels like she has more to give than what we could grasp in this book.
Unlock the Angel by Calla Zae

An absolutely amazing world and well constructed. It felt a little too quick for me however. I would have liked more.
An adorable love story that tugged ay my heartstrings straight away though.
Really interesting and kept me on the edge of my seat. This is the first book I have read from this author but will not be the last.
Midnight Masquerade by Halley Larkin

The cover immediately drew me in. An absolutely stunning piece of art.
This was my first book ever by this author but I must say I was impressed by the sheer exquisiteness of world-building in this book.
The characters were relatable and I liked the mystery element mixed in with the regency romance, a genre I don’t usually tend to pick up. Will definitely be trying more in this genre.
The storyline was nicely written and kept me interested throughout. Will be looking forward to trying more from this author.
