My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Vampire State by Alexander Charalambides was a unique take on vampires. This is my first book by this author. I feel like he did a good job with his characters. Rowena I feel like was very dedicated to her survival and family. I also found her to be very interesting and can’t imagine myself what choice I would make with what she is given. The beginning was a bit slow but I feel it speeds up the deeper you get in. Overall it was a good story. I would rate 4 stars.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Arrangement Duet Box Set by Madison Quinn was easily one of my favorite books this year. I couldn’t put it down. I literally lost sleep over this book willing my eyes to stay open so I could finish. Not only did I love the characters but the writing was so good. I loved the whole arrangement. I loved Nicholas’ protectiveness of Kenzie. And I loved the fact that Kenzie was a strong woman who could leave a terrible situation. I literally don’t want to say too much because I don’t want to spoil anything. But I was really happy with the ending. I kind of hope there will be another one. Just because I’m like that. 5 stars!!!

The Debt Collector (An Underground Bad Boys Romance Book 1) by India Kells – Review by Amber Lange

The Debt Collector (An Underground Bad Boys Romance)The Debt Collector by India Kells
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Debt Collector by India Kells was an intriguing book right from the start. I wasn’t sure how it was going to play out or even if it was going to be something I liked. From the beginning I was pretty hooked and I was able to finish rather quickly. There are a few things I was rather new to reading in this book. I haven’t read a lot of the ménage stuff and I tend to stay away from books with sex trafficking/ slave rings just because it tends to make me so mad I can’t concentrate on much else. However this book has that stuff but it’s done well enough that it added to the story. Overall the writing was great and I was into it the whole time. This is my first book by this author but won’t be my last. 5 star rating!
