That's a Wrap (Paranormal Talent Agency, #3)That’s a Wrap by Heather Silvio
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

That’s A Wrap (Paranormal Talent Agency Book 3) by Heather Silvio was a fun continuation of the series. I really enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed the first two in the series. They are light fun reads and sometimes that’s really what you need. It’s a book packed with murder, mystery, romance, and paranormal. The author does a great job and I can’t wait to read book four! 4 star rating!

Love & GhostsLove & Ghosts by Carrie Pulkinen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love & Ghosts (Crescent City Ghost Tours #1) by Carrie Pulkinen was an awesome book and my first by this author. My favorite books are books with ghosts and mediums. So I am so thrilled to add another author to my list of faves. I could not stop reading this book. It was so good! Not only did it hold my attention but it kept me wanting more. Lately I’ve been in a reading rut and I think this was my ticket out. Not only did I really enjoy the characters I loved the Princess Bride references. I can’t wait to see other books in the series and in the meantime hope to check out some of the authors other books. And ahem Carrie please go with at least 10 in the series? Ok? 5 star rating!

Drawing BloodlinesDrawing Bloodlines by Deborah Garland
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Drawing Bloodlines (The Princeton Allegiant Series Book 1) by Deborah Garland was the first book I have read by this author. I love vampire books and was excited to get to read this one. I found the book to be fun and exciting. It was a different take on vampires and I thought it was well done. I really enjoyed the characters and writing. At this point I would critique or say my thoughts on what could be better and I don’t really have any.I never saw that ending coming. I really wasn’t sure what I was suspecting but that was not it. So kudos Ms. Garland. Well done. 4 star rating.

Reset to One by Heather Silvio was another fun book in the Paranormal Talent Agency series. I really enjoyed this one as the lead was a vampire and I am always going to love me some vampires. I thought this book was just as good as the first. I like the author’s writing style and how easy her books are to read and get lost in. I think she did a great job and I am looking forward to reading others. 4 star rating

Broken Pieces by Judith B. Pinkard – Review by Amber R Lange

Broken PiecesBroken Pieces by Judith B. Pinkard
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Broken Pieces by Judith B. Pinkard was based on true events.I found it to be very interesting and very sad. It really made me think about how any one decision could affect my whole life. This family went through a lot. The accident that her family survived not only caused physical damage but psychological damage as well. Her mother’s mental illness although stigmatized heavily during that time should not have been frowned upon and more help should have been made available. This really makes me feel lucky for living in a time where people are more aware and more help is offered. I can only think what a strong amazing woman Judith grew up to be. Luckily she ended up with a great support system with her Aunt and Uncle. This is a book about faith and hope.I enjoyed it a lot. And am grateful for Judith sharing her story. 4 star rating.

The Light At Dawn by K.L. Montgomery was a wonderful book that I absolutely enjoyed. Guns are a hot topic in today’s society and the author wrote the book in such a way that it wasn’t one side or the other. The characters were great and I loved reading about them. The love story was great too. There is some sad stuff that happens. I don’t want to spoil but prepare yourself if you are sensitive to death. Overall it was a great book I can’t recommend it enough. 5 star rating.

ALTERATIONS TRILOGY: Alterations, Game Changer, Primal Will by Jane Suen – Review by Amber Lange

ALTERATIONS TRILOGY: Alterations, Game Changer, Primal WillALTERATIONS TRILOGY: Alterations, Game Changer, Primal Will by Jane Suen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Alterations Trilogy by Jane Suen was an interesting series. Each book deserves a mention.
Alterations by Jane Suen was a short novella that left me shocked! It’s a science fiction story with lots of suspense and mystery. The storylines are compelling. The three lead females are each going through things and each character is unique. The author does a great job going between each character’s story. I think my favorite storyline was Ellen’s. I can relate to her struggles with losing weight and wanting badly to be able to lose it. It is amazing that one day we could be doing similar things that happen in this book. These women are so desperate to change their lives they go to this doctor kite and in the end have to deal with the consequences. I found this book to be interesting and unique. I was pretty shocked by the doctors methods and how he did things.
Game Changer by Jane Suen is book number two in the Alterations trilogy. Definitely read book one as this one starts shortly after. I enjoyed book one and I enjoyed this one as well. Jane has an uncanny ability to write interesting and intriguing books that not only entertain you but they aren’t long and drawn out. I love reading her books because they always seem to surprise me in someway. I didn’t even know there was going to be other books in this series so I was pleased to find out there was more. I enjoyed reading about the characters from book one and seeing the story progress.
Primal Will by Jane Suen is the final book in the Alterations trilogy. This book tied up the other two and was a pretty good way to end things. Overall I liked the book. My favorite of the series was book one but I liked how the author ended the series. I liked the books and the story. The authors writing style is unique and different and that’s what I like about it. I would rate this series 4 stars.

The Only One by Necie Navone is book one in the Brothers of Camelot series. So basically there are 12 friends and this is Fitz’ s story. He’s literally a man whore who has a one and done policy. He’s been in love with Isabella for a really long time. Events have pushed them apart etc. I really enjoyed this story. It was a fun read and I really like the author’s style. It was easy to stay up late reading. I especially like Fitz’s meddling mom. Overall I have no complaints and would read others in the series. 4 star rating.

The Kitty Committee: A Novel of SuspenseThe Kitty Committee: A Novel of Suspense by Kathryn Berla
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Kitty Committee: A Novel of Suspense by Kathryn Berla is a suspenseful read full of secrets and mysteries. It kind of reminded me of mean girls with Carly as the “Regina George” of the book. It was kind of a slow start but it was also interesting. It’s a well written book about the power of friendship and how some friendships can just be catastrophic. Carly’s mannerisms and need to control were interesting and honestly one part of the story I found especially interesting. It just really makes you think about people and how different we all are. And how we all think. Overall I enjoyed it and would read other books by Kathryn. 4 star rating.

Unlikely to Fit by Ashlie Knapp – Review by Amber Lange

Unlikely to Fit (Parker Lake Book 2)Unlikely to Fit by Ashlie Knapp
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Unlikely To Fit by Ashlie Knapp is book two in the Parker Lane series. It is a romantic comedy type book. I did not read book one but did not feel lost or confused in this book. This is my first book by this author and I do like her writing style. I found the book to be a little slow moving at first but it picked up for me around 30%. I really liked Breckin. She is nerdy and adorable and I bet her and I would be great friends if she was real. Griffin really was a gentle giant so to speak but I think the death of his first love just really was hard for him to get over. I think they definitely belong together. They both had heartache and both needed each other to be happy again. I really thought Griffs grandma was a hoot. Anyway overall I liked the story and would rate 4 stars.
