Unexpected Revival (Revived Book 1)Unexpected Revival by E.L. Roux
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is the first book that I have read by this author and I enjoyed it. It was set in a post apocalyptic future where the earth was destroyed and the main character Shannon is awoken from a cryo sleep by an interesting alien male seeking answers she doesn’t have. There are twists and turns, drama, mystery and romance. I thought this book was interesting from the start and I will definitely pick up more by this author in the future!

Night Sweats and Hockey Nets (Hot Flash Hookups #3)Night Sweats and Hockey Nets by Marika Ray
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was great! It is the 3rd book in the series but can be read as a standalone. This is a sports romance with mature characters named Nico & Chloe. They were great. The banter between the two of them was awesome and I enjoyed seeing them come together and overcoming the struggles that they faced.
This duo of authors was great. The story was seamless and I know I would absolutely read anything they put out because I enjoyed this book alot.
I would recommend this to anyone that like sports romances, witty banter and characters that are aged like fine wine.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the fourth book in the Realm Chronicles series and imo these absolutely need to be read in series order. There is just to much going on in each book to read them out of order. I think the books keep getting better and better and this one is my favorite of the series so far. I love a good fantasy book and fae are definitely one of my favorite characters types.
I didn’t wanna put it down and I adored the MCs. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future!

Forever to Fall (Buckeye Falls Book 5) by Libby Kay – Review by Anastasia Dodson

Forever to Fall (Buckeye Falls, #5)Forever to Fall by Libby Kay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a cute clean romance that I enjoyed from page one. Even though this is the 5th book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. The characters are interconnect but the author wrote this well enough that you’re not left thinking you’re missing something from previous books.
This was a childhood friends to lovers story and I absolutely adored the mcs. They’re thrown together for family wedding festivities and starks fly. They keep things secret for a while but learn that having a secret in a small town is very hard. I was rooting for them the entire time and happy they got their HEA.
I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future!

Discovering Desire (Shattered Embrace #3)Discovering Desire by Alyndra Quinn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a good book that pulled me in and I enjoyed the writing. This was a little different than my normal read but I liked the direction the author took this story and it wasn’t too over the top for me. The three main characters are Derek, Justine & Jordan. They were all great mc’s and I enjoyed learning the little things that they did in their lives and what made them tick. Do I normally pick up love triangle books? No.. but did I still enjoy this one? Yes! This book was fast paced, Suspenseful and had a few twists and interesting turns.
I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future and definitely more from this series!

This story was cute! It was loosely based on red riding hood and I like the supernatural elements thrown in. I thought the writing was good and I enjoyed the mc’s. There are second chance/soulmates tropes in this one and I am a sucker for those! I am glad I picked this one up and I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future!

The Music That Ties Us: A Rockstar Romance (Love Ties Us)The Music That Ties Us: A Rockstar Romance by Nicolette Terry
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was such a good one! It pulled at my heart and make me cuss out loud and I didn’t want to put it down. It is a Rockstar Romance that was spicy and full of chemistry and angst. I adored the FMC Cadence but she had questionable taste in men and she definitely is put through the ringer during this story. But her slow burn romance with Damien was a good one and I enjoyed them and was rooting for a hea even while they dragged their feet! I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future!

The Handshake Agreement (Book 1) by A. Akinosho – Review by Anastasia Dodson

The Handshake AgreementThe Handshake Agreement by A. Akinosho
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This book was an interesting one. I picked this up because the cover caught my eye and the blurb sounded interesting. The story was okay but I found it hard to connect mainly because I just couldn’t get lost in the story. The writing style was different than I’m used to and I think that’s what threw me off. There was just soo much happening, one twist after another. It was definitely hard for this couple to get to their HEA & they really had to work for it. With all thay said i still thought it was an okay book and I will pick up this authors books again in the future.

This is the second book in the series. I did not read the first, but I enjoyed this book enough that I plan on going back to read it. I think the reading experience would be be better but not necessary.
This book pulled me in from page one and I enjoyed the writing style. The MC is named Shayla and she is a single mom who catches feelings for her best friends business partner. His Name is Burke. And he is fantastic. He is my favorite part of this story. He treats her and her kids amazingly and the chemistry between Burke & Shayla is off the charts… HOTTT. I enjoyed them both and I was rooting for their HEA throughout the story, because they both deserved one.

Summer of Mud by Rebecca Bischoff – Review by Anastasia Dodson

Summer of MudSummer of Mud by Rebecca Bischoff
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I thought this YA read was a good one to spend my afternoon reading. It was about Scoob and her brother, RC. They set off on a road trip and unfortunately RC isn’t being completely honest with Scoob. I was interested in finding out what truths he was hiding and I also loved the musical aspect of Scoobs side of the story too. I enjoyed this book more than I thought I was going to and I will definitely recommend for someone looking for a YA read that is a coming of Age novel that is a bit if a tear jerker.

Mood Swings and Hockey Flings (Hot Flash Hookups #2)Mood Swings and Hockey Flings by Marika Ray
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

As soon as I saw this pop up, I new I had to read it. Sylvie Stewart is a great author and I was excited to see they collabed with a new to me author. I thought this was a great weekend read and I didn’t want to put it down. The two main characters are older than most of the MCs in books that I read and I loved that. They had a whirlwind meetup that ended badly. The feel good nice feeling turned into a long period of dislike. The banter between the two was fantastic and I enjoyed their story of finding each other again navigating their tricky relationship. I was rooting for them and was happy to follow them to their HEA.
I am looking forward to reading more by both of these authors and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good book to read!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was a little hesitant on reading this book because i was afraid of it being a chaotic mess with so many “cooks in the kitchen”, BUT, It was really good! You absolutely cannot tell where one author’s part ends and another begins. They managed to make this very seamless and I am impressed. I enjoyed the main characters in this one and the amount of spice was just right for the mood I was in! There was mystery, supense and Paranormal/fantasy element that all made up this romance and it was a very nice book! I am very much looking forward to reading anything else this group of authors puts out!

This FF Paranormal read was a fun short read that I enjoyed one evening. This book focuses on side characters that were in book one, So I feel like reading these in order would give the best reading experience! All different types of supernatural characters were included in this book (which I loved) and I enjoyed this way this book flowed. The main characters grabbed my attention and I loved that there was a stalker( awful for Millicent, great for story telling lol).

This YA Romance is interesting book that had all of the teen angst and drama that i associate with YA. It even had drama filled moments and love triangles included. It was a cute story that was well written and clean (shudders in lack of smuttt lol) and i enjoyed the main characters, drama included. It just wasn’t really my kinda story but I think it would be perfect for someone that loves typical YA romance so definitely pick this one up if that’s your cup of tea.

This book is the follow up/ continuation of Hidden Mischief. I enjoyed the first book alot and was excited to to read this one. We were introduced to Zach and Ashton in the first book and this book was much needed for their HEA. So much happened in their story, many hurdles and hardships to overcome and none of it was easy. They were awesome main characters and even though I’m sad their story is done, I enjoyed it alot. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future!
