The Last Cabin Girl is a really good suspenseful mystery. It’s a good storyline, full of twists and turns that keep your attention. It’s my first time reading this author and I can say I’ll definitely be reading more of his work.

Unabridged is a fast-paced romantic comedy with a little bit of mystery thrown in. After Angelina leaves with no explanation, the main characters get a second chance at love and take it. It’s a good quick read that leaves you with the happy-ever after feeling.

I read this book with my youngest son who has autism. He said it was good and he had no idea that so many tricks could be done with water. This book is making him want to try the experiments, so he can trick his older siblings.

This is a dark paranormal fantasy. I first chose this book due to the genre. I had to push past the first bit after the marriage, as it brought back some bad memories… I understand exactly where Julia is coming from. The characters are well built and the end left you wanting more.

This was such a sweet story. I really connected with Franceen, having gone through what she went through and fighting for “normal”…I like how both Franceen and Scott let the attraction build. This book makes a very sweet, moving afternoon read.

This book was an interesting read. I typically don’t like more than one perspective or narration, but this author pulled it off. It does reflect a lot on past books, which I haven’t read yet but have so I can, so I definitely think it should be read in order as the series progresses. I like the characters. I also like that even though it’s a paranormal romance, it’s heavier on the paranormal and the romance is there and beautiful but not unrealistically over the top…

This was a great read. It grabbed and held my attention to the very end. The characters are great and captivating. The unraveling mystery kept up with the right details and played out well. I’m hoping there will be more of this line.

I really enjoyed this book. It’s the second book in the series, so I’m going to have to go read the first one. The only negative I had was some of the details weren’t as detailed or recapped. Since I haven’t read the first book yet, I don’t know if the details I was looking for are in that one or not. The author definitely had me hooked and the cliffhanger that ends the book is probably one of the best I’ve read in a long while. I’m looking forward to the rest of this series.

I don’t think I’ve read a book like this one in a long time. Most romance novels seem to base the relationships around sex. This one allowed the characters to experience the emotional aspects of their relationship first. It was fun to see Katrina evolve from a demon who “is evil” into a denom who showed emotion.
