Another fantastic 5 star read from this author and not that I expected anything less – I absolutely adore her stories and every single one never fails to captivate me from beginning to end. This book is part of an 8 book collection by different authors but can be read as a standalone. I really was hooked into this story straight away; the way in which the author had written it had me turning the pages faster than I could. I connected with the characters straight away, I could feel everything that they could, it really felt like I was there living the story with them. Even though the other books in the series aren’t by this author I would absolutely love to read them also and I think that if you are a fan of Tamara Ferguson then you will in no way be disappointed with this new release from her.

I have read every one of the Twisted Hearts books except this one up to this point…Not sure how I missed it but I surely did and after reading this I want to pick up all the rest and reread them all. I love this series and love this author, you could probably read all of these as stand alones, but dont..they are all absolutely awesome and the characters from the previous books hang around in all of them…
This one was hard to read in spots and the author gives you fair warning in the beginning but she handled it all with class and style and allows you to crawl right in the minds of these characters and does not add in any unneeded fluff throughout the story.
Tony and Anaya’s story was intense and the twists and turns that happened along the way caught me totally off guard, they were all placed perfectly.
I highly recommend this series and I promise you read this one you will want to grab all of them.

Me and Cinderella by Kelly Mooney My rating: 5 out of 5 stars
This is such a great second book to follow up The Dirty Rooster. It can be read as a stand alone but, I would recommend reading the first book to get some background. Also, the first book is just plain great!
This book is the story of Eli, who is one of Preston’s best friends from the first book. His life is rough, he had a crap childhood and was always busting his butt to provide for his younger brother Brandon and sister Shea. I admire him for not getting into any risky trade and working hard at menial jobs to get himself through high school and on to college. His father is an abusive jerk who is in jail and, his mother can’t be bothered to provide for the kids because she is too busy drinking and doing drugs. The fact that he graduated college and went on to become successful enough to pay for everything himself as well as send money to his sister and brother to make sure they were comfortable, is heartwarming.
When Eli returns home to make sure Brandon and Shea are going to be okay with his father getting out of jail soon, he reunites with his long lost love Remington. She is set to be married but seems to have cold feet, and then the only place she can run and hide is at Eli’s place. This all makes for a beautiful, frustrating and overdue reunion for these two.
Eli and Remy are a great couple and it is beautiful that the rich girl fell for the guy from the “wrong side of the tracks” even though, Eli is a better man than any of the rich snobs at her father’s country club. Overall, a great read, with lots of romance, drama and little crime.

The Woman America Loves A Latte by Holly Tierney-Bedord My rating: 5 out of 5 stars
WOW! I was not sure where this book was heading and boy was I surprised. There is so many twists and drama, I was sucked in and read through the whole book in one sitting. The characters are all wonderful and the story line is fantastic!
Veloura or Vee as her friends call her, is in my opinion, sweetly naive and very young. She is twenty years old and is shacked up with a much older man who is referred to as, Thunder. The way Thunder treats Vee is so disgusting and she doesn’t see until it’s almost too late that he is a terrible person and he has no love for her.
Suzie had me skeptical about her intentions towards Vee. I’m thinking that maybe she was just jealous of Vee, and that is the reason she wanted to keep her far away from her husband Tommy. I do love that she helped Vee land a job as The woman America loves a latte for a coffee company.
When Veloura realizes her husband’s intentions towards her and Suzie set her up with a new job that would take her away from their little town, she jumps at the opportunity. Coming home during an event for her job, she has a near death experience and determines who is actually out to hurt her, and it was the last person she would have expected.
The story reads in different characters perspectives, and I personally like this to see what each character is thinking or going through. The dramatic twist in the end had me reeling and I was shocked at who was really after Veloura. I would definitely recommend this book!!

Hell On Heels (the PJ Santini Series) by Lynne Russell is one heck of a story and I loved each and every part of it. Lynne has woven a story like no other, where you get on a ride and never want to get off, because you want more. The story is a mystery revolving around a news reader by day and a private eye by night and drew me in from start to finish. The story is fast paced and the danger and suspense, mystery and intrigue kept me guessing and it is delightful and consuming. The humour had me laughing out loud and I had to have more.
PJ Santini is a strong, independent and stubborn woman but she is also one smart cookie who is always chasing the truth. She knows what she wants and won’t stop digging until she gets it. Her crazy friend is just delightful and let’s not forget the romance.
If you love a mystery and a strong and independent leading lady then this is the book for you. Well done Lynne! I can not wait for more of PJ Santini.

Little Miss Eyes of Blue by Holly Tierney-Bedord is the prequel to The Woman America Loves a Latte. It takes us back to the very beginning of Veloura (Vee) who is the main character in The Woman America Loves a Latte. It is a great story and is very different to the second book but it gives us the birdseye view of how and what Vee went through to make her the woman she is today. Veloura’s parents were terrible and very selfish and made me sad for her but she turned out ok. I am glad to see her beginnings.

This book was such an awesome read! I loved every second of it! The author’s writing grabbed my attention from the very beginning and didn’t let go until the end! I love a good mystery story and this one was a great example of that, I was kept guessing the whole way through and actually felt I was trying to solve things along with the story’s main character, PJ Santini! I thought that she was a great main character, independent, intelligent with a great witty side too. I loved her determination in solving problems. There were some secondary characters in the story who were great also especially Tango! There was certainly some great chemistry between PJ and Tango!! I really enjoyed this story, the first I have read by this author and I am really looking forward to reading book 2 now!

The Reason Why was such a beautifully written story and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It was full of sweet moments interspersed with angst which I loved! I really felt like I was a part of the lives of these three wonderful characters, I really took them all into my heart. I could really sense the feelings that Alabama displayed – she was truly torn between Joshua and Hunter. Both Joshua and Hunter were really nice characters in their own way, it was obvious they both liked Alabama and just like with her I could feel the turmoil that they both felt as well. The author poured a lot of emotion in to this story and it shone through in every page that I read. Her characters were amazing to read about and I just absolutely loved everything about this book! I have read stories by this author before and I absolutely will be again! I highly recommend this beautiful story!
5 Star Vantage Point (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 4) by Amy McKinley is the fourth Book in the A Gray Ghost series and my favorite yet. I’ve truly enjoyed this whole series and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I had to know what happens next. This can be read as a standalone but if you want to find out about some of the other characters I’d definitely recommend reading the first three books in this series as well This story is about Stella and Hawk. Hawk is a part of Gray Ghost Security Team.Hawk is one that keeps to himself but has a past that haunts him.He usually likes to keep things simple especially when it comes to the ladies, no strings,and no dates .All that changes when he meets Stella. These two have serious chemistry between them.Find out what happens next. I highly recommend reading this book/series.I look forward to reading more from this Author.

I really enjoyed this book. It follows the journey of Vee. A young girl who had a troubled start to life and winds up with a partner who plans to kill her.
She escapes her partner and with the help of her friend gets a job which leads her to become a famous spokesperson for a coffee company. Along with the fame and the travelling it also brings with it people who are set on ruining her and taking her life.
The first suspect is the x partner, along with her mothers x partner but the true culprit will surprise you. I was totally surprised and i didnt see it coming.
Its full of highs on her adventures and also lows as you relive her past, the loss of her parents and as she finds a way to live and survive on her own.

I would like to find Ms. Skye and just maybe gently smack her. This is the first book I have read by this author and W-O-W! I loved her writing style and her frequent use of my favorite word the F word lol. The storyline flowed smoothly, and I found myself torn for each of the three main characters at one point or another. Damien, Jaxson, and Olivia, each have something that draws you in and makes you not only root for them but be conflicted. There was suspense, surprises, mouth dropping moments, and some dang hot steamy scenes. This author’s work kept me engaged from the first page to the last page and I can’t wait to read other books by her, but most of all I can not wait for the continuation of this story because I have so many thoughts on what might be coming next. Don’t Let Me by Marie Skye is one of my fave books so far this year.

The author thankfully has given us a glimpse into the backstory of a beloved character from a previous work in these pages. Veloura (Vee) takes on a journey of her childhood and past and provides us with context for the adult we love from “The Woman America Loves a Latte”. The author kept me guessing which sometimes can be difficult when a prequel is given to the reader following a book. I really enjoyed these pages and found myself reading it in one sitting without realizing it. Very well written and very enjoyable.

What an unexpectedly fantastic romp through the afterlife/green room/purgatory. Seriously, this was worthy of so much snorting laughter. You know you’ve found a keeper when a book touches your heart, and funny bone, and induces you toward an audible response to the pages you’ve read. Overall, this book does stand well on its own but the cleverness and originality are truly embraced and evidenced when the series is read in total. Loved it.

Uh… what the… what did I… is book two available yet??? I was so enthralled I read this book in one sitting without realizing I was doing so. I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I opened the book but oh my word. The author does a fantastic job created this world and these three main characters. My only complaint is that I wasn’t ready to reach the last page. Ok I have two complaints really, the second being that I don’t already have book two in my hands. I’m at a loss for words…wow.

Books like these tend to stick with you and resound deeply. Emotional, gripping, raw, real. This story of faith, of healing, of pure emotion, just drew me in immediately. This isn’t the first book I have read by this author so I had high hopes going in because I thoroughly enjoyed the other books I have read by this her and I’m glad to report I was not disappointed. This book was entertaining, funny, thrilling, and so much more. I liked the characters in this story especially Vee and her best friend. I actually found myself laughing out loud while reading and that always makes for better reading in my opinion. This book took me on a journey along with Vee and I enjoyed every emotional moment of it. I can’t wait to read what this author has in store for us next. I highly recommend this book.

Flesh and Bone was so thrilling to read. So many bonds and pain shared between people. The love and bond between Dar and Etain. They have something magical that us mere mortals can’t even dream of. Like most books I read I always find something that I want to change. Etain is a strong woman and I loved how the author made her dominant but soft. I wish I could change her blind loyalty. No matter who a person is they can do wrong. She needs to accept that people change and become someone we don’t recognize anymore. I wish to see more of Dar in action because the other characters made him seem fearless and ruthless. Overall I enjoyed the story. It was different and the world the author created addicting.

This is the first time I’ve ever read anything by this author and I’m not 100% sure it was the best way to be introduced. These were 5 excerpts from what are longer stories or full length novels. What initially drew me to the collection was that the author describes himself as the “Lord of Lust”. I was hoping for some of that humor to be written into the story, but the stories were simple glimpses into the “Lord’s” writing talent.
Each of the “stories” contained in this collection are very similar. A little bit of a set-up of the characters to get to know who they are and why they are in the story, then a very open door – descriptive “erotic” scene between two characters and then the end.
This is classified as erotica but I found it to be more slurpy and sloppy than erotic. To me, it seemed like director notes for a raunchy sex scene in porn.
While this collection of erotic is not my cup of tea, I always appreciate when a human opens themselves to the world of publishing to share their talent.

How this author expects me to complete full thoughts and sentences after this book, is beyond me right now! This series MUST be read in order, all books pick up where the last left off.
Pandora’s Price follows the POV of Darren and Luisa again, and the continuation of the deal Darren made. The emotions packed into this book, made me feel like I was dealing with pregnancy hormones with the ups and downs and shocking moments. I cannot express how much of a must read this series is, it’s something to experience for sure. And I can’t wait for the next book and getting to know those characters now.

Me and Cinderella (The Dirty Rooster Book 2) by Kelly Mooney is an excellent contemporary romance. Life has a way of setting individuals on a particular path regardless of how they may wish their lives would go. As we all know, the past cannot always remain there; sometimes it comes back for a reason that is worthwhile, yet in other ways it’s one we need to overcome and conquer. Remy and Eli are magnetic characters and it’s seen throughout their interactions despite the events that have occurred. Their story was brilliantly written and I could not get enough. The drama that was an unpleasant undertone in the story added additional depth and development to some of the characters that was well done. Another amazing story by Kelly Mooney!!

The Woman America Loves a Latte By Holly Tierney-Bedford 5 out of 5 Stars I rarely give 5 star reviews and this one was worthy of all five stars. This suspenseful, comedy, romance novel checks all the boxes that you want in a book. Veloura, or Vee, has had a rough go at life. It seems that life is just determined to smack her around and when she is black and blue, it smacks her around some more. When her fiancés terrible decision making has her looking for greener pastures, she lands (kind of haphazardly) into her dream job. The problem? She has no idea what she is doing. Tierney-Bedford is a master story writer and this book is no exception. The quirky characters, suspenseful plot and drama and comedy has me turning these pages as fast as my little fingers will flick. I highly recommend this book for readers of all genres!

The Reason Why, by Izzibella Beau, was an emotionally drawing story. Alabama is a female who hasn’t had an easy life, one full of effort, struggle and questions of self worth. Circumstances shake up her life and set her a path that could be a change that is desperately needed. My heart broke for Alabama in this story at the misfortune that has been evident in her life. Yet, I yearned for the change that was about to come and learning where she went from there. Adding Joshua and Hunter into the dynamics of this story and it shakes it up in some of the best ways. Truly a beautifully written story and I loved how the author brought all the characters together.
A Person Could Disappear Here by Terri George is an amazing read. This story had me on the edge of my seat at points and trying to figure out all the puzzles. The story is told from two points of views. First, is Abbey, who has traveled to meet a man she met online. The second is from the view of Cristina. She is Abbey’s friend and is set to find Abbey when she doesn’t return from meeting the man. I will not say more about the plot specifically. Just know that this is an emotional read and the author put research in to get to the heart of the subject. I was kept wondering how everything would play out in the end. The subject is tough but I believe it was handled well and kept realistic. I am going to be on the lookout for more from this author in the future.

Linked: Can Empathy Save the United Terrestrial Democracy? By Gaia B. Amman. Wow what did I just read. Seriously did I just read a book outside my comfort zone and love it! Yes I sure did. This book had me completely hooked from start to end. This story blew me away in a matter of speaking, the authors writing style and attention to details is outstanding. It’s a ride I truly wish I could take again for the first time. The characters are complex and enjoyable to read. You truly get taken on a journey with Naira and the other characters. Pick up this book and buckle up for an enjoyable ride. I’m giving this story a five star review and highly recommend it.

Garrett ( Dark Water Security Book 2) By Madison Quinn. This is the story of Garrett and Hope who met 2 1/2 years ago at one of Garrett’s buddies weddings. They had a wonderful night together and Hope is the only woman to give Garrett feelings other than a one night stand until she’s gone the next morning without a note or her last name. When they meet again when Garrett gets a request for a live in security job and comes face to face with Hope again he has to take the job. Hope is the guys housekeeper so they will be living under the same roof. Only every time Garrett tries to talk to Hope she freaks out and almost has a panic attack. On top of that Richard the guy that hired Garrett has some really bad guys trying to kill him. Will Garrett keep Hope and Richard safe and will Hope be able to trust Garrett and get past the tragedies she’s suffered and let him in. Read Garrett, you won’t be disappointed.
