I personally have limited knowledge if Greek mythology, and in saying that, I found this book a nice read! I enjoyed the story and like the characters a lot! It was easy to read, was easy to follow and definitely sparked an interest in Greek mythology for me! I enjoyed not knowing anything because I could enjoy the book for what it was and found it intriguing, exciting and a good romance all around!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I don’t believe I have read a K.G. Fletcher novel. And the first thing I can say…. There should be a warning label! It should read : copious tissues, chocolate, and an ability to withstand a Rollercoaster ride of emotions! All joking aside this box set is AMAZING. I personally hate giving the goods away, I want you to see first hand what I mean! I was thinking long and hard what I could say and my first thought was what was my favorite of the five books in the set…. truthfully I couldn’t have picked one if it was life or death! Exciting, romantic, heartbreaking, holidays, you name it these books have for sure got something for everyone. They were all so well written, individual, and amazing books to cozy up and get lost in. You have FIVE books to lose yourself in and you will not regret it! K.G. Fletcher is a force to be reckoned with! This box set makes the top of my list EASY!

Hush, My Darling (Benoit and Dayne Mystery Book 2) by Winter Austin – Review by April McCoy

Hush, My Darling (Benoit and Dayne Mystery, #2)Hush, My Darling by Winter Austin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I should preface with this is the second book in the Benoit and Dayne Mystery series and I once again didn’t read the first book first because I was so impatient that once I had this book I immediately devoured it! This book was a thrilling rollercoaster that had my wheels turning over and over. The two main ladies were well thought out and brought an edge to this story that made it over the top in the best way! I was biting my nails like a kid held in suspense and I was drinking it in like a fine wine! I honestly couldn’t say enough good things about the author and how well written she is. She truly spun a web that I was stuck in immediately and when I began to unravel it I was just blown away more and more! Definitely a book that will make its way onto my physical shelf to enjoy over and over!!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this book however through no fault of anyone but my own, I did not realize that this was book 2 in the Evil Sushi series. I felt a little lost but was definitely able to still enjoy due to it being such a well written book. If you are looking for a thrill and suspense this is a great book that will deliver! It gave me strong Siren tv show vibes in one sense and I just really was into it as much as I could be! I am going to be reading the first because that way as I continue I will feel as though I’ve got the whole story down! A first for me from this author but clearly not my last! Very fun read!

Unbelievable 3rd instalment in the Anchoress series! I had sweaty palms and my heart was pounding away. This was a can’t eat, can’t sleep, can’t function until I’ve finished every page sort of book. I definitely don’t think after having read this book and the last 2 that you would get the full effect if you didn’t read them all in order however I personally prefer to have the full backstory so who knows! D.L is getting put on my shelf with the greats, with a series I will read over and over again that’s for sure. I couldn’t recommend this book, this series or this author enough! Truly enjoyed every second. I feel like the characters are family and I loved watching them evolve and grow. I have never been so sad to finish a good book more than I was for the Anchoress series.

Book two of the Anchoress series did NOT disappoint. A year later and a whole lot wiser, Van grows as a character before my eyes. I had my doubts, because I was over the moon for the first in the series, Shock of Fate, but goodness! Utterly amazing. D.L. is a stellar author and I hope she never stops giving me more exciting, danger filled books! I see the appeal for young adult but how easily someone like myself who considers herself just a plain old regular adult can fall into this books trap! Every page was one I read every word twice hoping they would transport me to this realm she has created. I cannot wait for book 3!

Such a well written book that I needed, not wanted, but needed to read the second immediately upon finishing this one. I must say, This book was so easy to lose yourself in, I was not in the present world for the entirety of this book. If I did have to stop reading it, I was thinking about it, dreaming about it, wondering what was to come. Such a well spun tale with an amazing flow! Kudos to this author!
