Witness: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 9) by Meghan O’Flynn is another wonderful dark thriller in this series. It will have you so twisted around and turned inside out that you won’t know which way is up or down. Such is Meghan’s writing that it becomes all-encompassing and there are a lot of moving parts. Meghan is a master at writing psychological thrillers as evidenced by this series and the sinister plot webs she weaves so intricately and skillfully.
This dark tale sees us taking a look into the darker and deeper side of Petrosky as he once again is on the case of a killer or killers.

I have been reading books by Meghan O’Flynn for a while now and can honestly say I’m still creeped out. Every story crawls under my skin and lives there. I can’t seem to stop reading the stories either. The details laid out perfectly. The plot full of twist, dips, dives and corners you lose what way is up and what way is down. One moment you feel you have an understanding and something happens to change the game. I got chills just thinking about this story. This is book 9 and not once has the author disappointed. Detective Petrosky’s character has been through the ringer and yet he is still fighting. He has faced so many tragedies I am honestly surprised he is still fighting. This story brings his dead partner back onto the sense and it’s a big mess. I was scared and excited for this story. I can’t get enough even though it freaks me out.

Witness is the ninth book in the Ash Park series. It can be read as a standalone. This book was not a quick read for me. It has a lot of moving pieces to follow so you have to pay attention or you will miss important details. Definitely a page-turner as the complexity of the mystery keeps you engaged with the story. There are several ways the story could turn out and it will keep you guessing to the end.

I have enjoyed every book of this series and this one was no different. The characters are so well developed and the mystery of it all is very suspenseful. I love how all of these books of the series, action-packed, unpredictable and entertaining on all levels. This book exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed this book!

This is a series I have loved from the first book. This is the ninth in the series which I highly suggest reading all of the previous books to help your enhancement of this series. This is a well written story that is full of action and suspense. I loved being pulled into the story from the beginning. I had no problems relating to the characters as they bring the story to life. Detective Petrosky, who is my favorite character, is back in another mystery of a missing person. He is a determined man out to find the truth and his man. He really makes the story for me. It is fun and entertaining. I highly recommend reading this book to find out if the truth tears down a family or builds one up.

Salvation is the prequel to the Ash Park series by Meghan O’Flynn. If. You have read the Ash Park series, you should definitely read this story. It will give you an early life perspective of Edward Petrosky, who is featured heavily in the Ash Park books. This is another great example of of Meghan O’Flynn’s superb writing. This book is full of twists and turns, and even though I want to say more, I’m not going to give any spoilers away. I highly recommend this book, series and author to everyone who loves a great mystery/thriller.

Salvation: An Ash Park Prequel Novella by Meghan O’Flynn is a five star novel. I love that this author has taken us back to the beginning with Ed Petrosky so that we could see exactly how he turned out the way he did later in life. We are taken on a journey of discovery when Ed’s girlfriend, Heather is murdered. The other detectives in the office thinks that she is not worthy of figuring out what happened to her but Ed can’t get the bloody images out of his dreams. He knows he needs to figure out what happened and he never expected the dark and twisty road his work would take him down. This book was a page turner and I could not put it down!

Salvation: An Ash Park Prequel Novella (Ash Park 0.5) by Meghan O’Flynn was a nail biting, suspenseful, heart pounding thriller that, had me on the edge of my seat.
Not my first read from this author or in this series. In truth I have read every book in this series, so needless to say when I saw this one I snached it up in a heartbeat. This book takes place well before the main series, so I do suggest reading this first as it will give you a better understand of the lead MC, Petrosky.
Like the others book in this series, Salvation was well written, detailed and emotional. I got to know Petrosky’s character very well from the main series, and it was exciting to read about the before. Before he was broken, and before he lost his child that led to his spiral into self hate, alcohol and depression. This book paints that before, as well as the beginning of this multi layered character’s downfall.
Overall this book was everything I was hoping it to be and more. Meghan O’Flynn is truly talented at making your skin crawl and smashing your heart into a million pieces. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval that you will be holding your breath as well as, holding onto your shattering heart.

Salvation by Meghan O’Flynn is a Prequel in the Ash Park series. This series has become one of my absolute favourite ones that I have read in a long time. Every single book in this series has a great story line and brilliant characters. I always find myself on the edge of my seat, desperate to find out what is going to happen. This book was no exception. Meghan O’Flynn has such a skill at creating lasting and edgy stories. The twist and turns keep you fully engaged all the way through. I always know I am in for a good ride whenever I pick up one of her books. This was another good hit.

Salvation: An Ash Park Prequel is outstanding. I have read all of the books and I can tell you each book builds and builds to the final word. Meghan O’Flynn is a master mind with the thriller, mystery, suspense, twists, and everything else she wants to put into her story. I loved how I felt I was inside the story right there with Detective Edward Petrosky and rode the emotional roller coaster he is on. This story is where it all begins. So I highly recommend reading this book first. I learned about the characters in this story which gave great insight for the Detective Edward in the other books. I am afraid if I keep talking I will give spoilers and that would not be good for anyone. So sit down, grab your most comfortable blanket, get tissue, and settle in to start with Salvation: An Ash Park Prequel.

Salvation: An Ash Park Novella is the prequel to the brilliant Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. I have read all of the Ash Park series and thought my wild ‘ride’ might have been over- so I was thrilled to discover this book had recently been released. All through the series, I have reiterated how impressed I am with Ms. O’Flynn’s ability to spin an incredibly clever thriller- and how she also manages to make each new instalment slightly eclipse the previous one. As well as the amount of tension, suspense, shocks, twists, surprises, and puzzling situations that she manages to infuse into each story, has me in awe of her skills- she always has me guessing, with a tight, unpredictable storyline- and delivering heart pounding, stomach clenching, and mind-blowing reading every single time. This book takes us back to the beginning, giving us a different glimpse into the life of Detective Edward Petrosky, and some of the earlier events that shaped the man we know from the rest of the series. Salvation by Meghan O’Flynn is an Ash Park prequel. This was a quick read and was a great way to tell the backstory of Ed Petrosky. I have enjoyed the entire Ash Park series and this was a great addition. This can be read before the rest of the series or as I did after the fact. This is full of suspense and intrigue. The story tells the backstory of Ed and how he deals with the murder of his fiancee. She is not the lone victim of a killer and Ed has to figure out what is going on before the killer strikes again. If you enjoy good suspense that keeps you reading this is a great book to read.

Salvation is the Prequel Novella of Meghan O’Flynn’s Ash Park series. It is pretty crazy how the prequel came out after the whole series was published! I had read the series before I picked up the prequel, I actually picked up the prequel as I had read the series … I could not get enough of the series AND of Meghan’s writing (I have read almost everything she has published!!!). I was really excited to pick up another Edward Petrosky story and I loved getting the deep insight into his past. We had gotten glimpses into it through the series but the novella gives us all! Ed is a patrol officer and he is trying to find his place in the world while trying to escape the demons from his time in the military and … he is in love and to be married, to Heather who has her own demons from her past … one night while out on his shift, he finds her bloody body half-buried in the snow … You can imagine where the story takes us to from here … the twists and turns, the unexpected revelations, the other characters, different clashing agendas even though it should be all about finding the killer as Heather is not the only dead body, just a beginning … it is the story of human nature and vengeance … I warmly suggest you pick up the series, you will not regret, you will be sucked into the dark world of the Ash Park and you do not want to leave!

This is one of my favorite series. Each book is action, edge of seat sitting suspense and hard to put down plots and this one is no different. This is the prequel to this series where Edward has joined the Ash Park police department. He gets called out to a call that will change his life forever. Now he is faced with making a choice, backing off the case or find the murder who took his love from him. I couldn’t put it down, I lost track of all time, pulled right in. It is a must read!

Redemption is the conclusion of Meghan O’Flynn’s Ash Park series (there will be another book but she calls it Prequel Novella so …) Oh my goodness, what a closing it is … all those questions we have had in our hear, the pain Detective Petrosky has felt, the guilt that has been drowning him, the losses he has suffered … the puzzle will be put together and revealed and you will be left stunned … You MUST read all the books leading up to this show down, you need to know the history, the people involved and their stories, you need to have lived with Detective Petrosky … (yeah, someone could say that you do not need to but do yourself a favour, don’t go off half cocked!) ALL the previous books lead up to this one! I promise you, you will be shocked, you will be wrecked, AND you have no idea how it all will end, UNTIL you get to the end (unless you are some sort of genius and mind reader and … not me …) I think this is the best writing I have seen from the writer so far, she has gotten better with every single story in the series – she has dug so deep into the puzzle that she is breathing it, with every single word she has put down on the paper … You are guaranteed a fantastic read and you will not be able to wait for Jilted (the prequel novella), I wonder where the writer will be taking us …

Conviction is the second book in Meghan O’Flynn’s Ash Park series that takes place in the run down area of Detroit. It could be read as a standalone but there is a backstory and characters that are present throughout the series. You can see how the writer has gotten deeper into the Ash Park world, the story is complex and the characters have layers, you learn more about them and it makes you understand where they come from and why they act the way they do. All of them are like us – dark and light – and it is up to them how they choose. We have Petrosky and Morrison with Shannon Taylor from the prosecutor’s office and all of them have their doubts regarding the ‘guilty’ verdict that the young woman Ashley Johnson received. And the doubts grow stronger when Shannon gest stalked and her family gets harassed … and there is a galore of suspects … take your pick! At the same time, the story is much more than just trying to find out who the killer is … I am looking forward to the next story to see where the writer takes us …

Famished by Meghan O’Flynn is the opening to her Ash Park series that introduces us to Detective Petrosky who will be our lead throughout the series. How do I know? Well, I happened to pick up the fourth book first and realized that even though it sort of seemed like a standalone, I needed to come back to the beginning … This opening to the series was a bit underwhelming, at least that is how I felt as I had read the fourth book … I know though that it will get more intense with each book as the writer gets more and more into the characters, giving them more dimension … it is a great start to a twisted labyrinth of violence where everyone has too many skeletons in their closets. The writer gives us a cat and mouse serial killer universe that leaves you doubting yourself and guessing at who it is. I loved that the story was told from multiple characters’ point of view as it added dimension and layers. I have to warn you that it is very graphic so it is not for faint at heart! I will forge on to the next book in the series!

Repressed is the third story in Meghan O’Flynn’s Ash Park series and I think she has done it now … I have nothing to say but “she has arrived”, roll out the carpet! Repressed is THE story of Detective Curtis Morrison who we met in the first book and learnt more about in the second book … but still (zen) waters run deep … his checkered past seems to be catching up to him – his wife (who we also met in the previous books, the second book was her book) and baby daughter go missing and there is this sadistic monster that is ruling this nightmare that he has initiated to make Morrison to pay for the sins from twenty years ago… The story is dark, disturbing … it is very graphic, the violence, it leaves you shuddering… the way the writer describes addition, it blows your mind … the story is fast paced and you will get a mystery with its beginning, middle and the end! If this is your first book of the series, it will pull you in and you will want to read the other ones and I promise you, you should! I started with book four and now when I have also read the first three, I keep thinking about the fourth one and lamenting what I missed … I think it deserves a re-read!

Redemption by Meghan O’Flynn is book five and the last in the Ash Park series. I have spent so much time in Ash Park, and I am sad this moving, engrossing, mystery filled, series has come to an end. O’ Flynn was able to grab me from book one till this book. Each book getting better and better and this ONE truly blew me out of the water. The crime coming back to haunt Detective Petrosky, connection to the Looking Glass Killer bringing up so much while Petrosky still dealing with his grief and must finally put this case to rest SOLVED! There are times I want to slap Petrosky but this book, showed me again shows me just how much I have grown to love him. He is a broken down man who has had to deal with such pain and tragedy. This man and all his grief are thrown into a case and investigation that will make him face his past and his pain HEAD ON! I fully can’t put into words how much this book and this series have stayed with me and will continue to stay with me. Meghan O’Flynn delivers each time, and makes me want to read all the books in one sitting. I am addicted to her suspense, her strong characters, and her amazing writing. I am so sad to see this end and truly hope that one day we get to visit Ash Park again. I highly recommend this series, this author, you WILL NOT be disappointed.
I’ve said it once and many times, Meghan O’Flynn doesn’t disappoint her readers with her amazing way of putting words together. Words that are able to captivate the reader, and make you sit on the edge of your seat. This was my exact experience with Redemption in the Ash Park Series. It doesn’t matter that I’ve read the previous books in this series, but the intense suspense and thrill remains within the pages of the book and with the characters. I absolutely love how Meghan can develop characters that completely captivate you and don’t let you go. This was most definitely another 5 Star Book for me!!!

Redemption is the fifth book in the Ash Park series by Meghan O’Flynn. This series is really amazingly disturbing in the psychological sense. Getting into the minds killers that are twisted and commit horrific acts, is Ms. O’Flynns specialty. This book and series is definitely not for the faint of heart. This book can be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend you read the series in order because the books are all great reads and you will miss some big parts of the backstory. This book is full of mystery, suspense, horror and disturbing situations. This book is Detective Petrovsky’s story that started ten years earlier with his young daughters rape and murder. This book was filled with twists and turns and I really couldn’t guess who the serial killer was till the end. I hope tha this series continues, and can’t wait to read more from this author.

Redemption by Meghan O’Flynn is the 5th book in the Ash Park series, a series I would recommend reading in order as each new book follows the last. Redemption is dark, suspenseful, intriguing, heart-wrenching and a fantastic conclusion to a mind-blowing series. I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this series. Every book kept me on my toes, constantly guessing and coming up with theories.
I have loved following these characters and their development, Detective Petrosky specifically. He’s a broken man who has experienced so much loss and seen so much evil and he finally gets the justice he so deserves and for that I couldn’t be happier.
I would absolutely recommend this series to anyone looking for their next crime read!

Redemption: An Ash Park Novel, Volume 5 by Meghan O’Flynn 5 out of 5 stars This is a book where I had to sit and pace myself. This story picks up 5 years after a killer was loose on the streets. Think London’s Jack the Ripper, but in modern day Ash Park. Detective Petrosky is a recurring character from a previous book, Volume 4, Hidden Ashes, in this series and he has some serious ghosts to slay. All of his past and the ghost of his murdered daughter, a victim of the Looking Glass Killer, comes rushing back when a woman is kidnapped and she looks just like his daughter. Petrosky is on the hunt for this terrible, terrible person. The last 5 years of guilt, sorrow and hatred is fueling his desire to bring his killer down. O’Flynn is a masterful storyteller for the ages. The details and depth that she gives to each of her stories is incredible and I would place her talent on par with James Patterson and Patricia Cornwall. These books can be read as standalone but I HIGHLY recommend reading them all and in order.

Hidden is the fourth book in Meghan O’Flynn’s Ash Park series. It is not my first encounter with the writer but it was my first read of the series and what a read it was! Do NOT read it late in the evening if you do plan to sleep … I faced a sleepless night haunted by the images my brain came up with when reading the book … oh my goodness! Everyone told me that you can read this story as a standalone and yes, you can BUT I felt so often that I didn’t get all the nuances because I had not read the first 3 books and did not know who was new and who was recurring and the whole backstory so … now I am stuck … meaning I will need to pick up the first 3 books before going for the last one in the series! Detective Petrosky is NOT letting me go … I am still haunted by his pain, his loss, his guilt, his grief … This story reminded me an extended version of Criminal Minds episode … the gore, the twistiness of the monster, the puzzle that needs to have all the pieces on place to relieve the big picture … I have no words but “pick up a copy and read it over the weekend”. The Ash Park series will be haunting me for some time …

Each novel in the Ash Park series just gets creepier and creepier. This one is sick and twisted. This book isn’t for the faint of heart. Hidden starts off with a murder just like the rest of the series. But that basement…man, why are basements so creepy? The killers in each of these stories are so messed up.
Hidden is book 4 and is part of a series that really should be read in order. The main characters, Detectives Morrison and Petrosky, are hard at work trying to make Ash Park a safer place. But evil ranks high here. And it seems as if its an evil they already know. References are made to situations from the first three books so if you haven’t read the first ones you will be wondering about certain things. This series is so worth the time.
O’Flynn’s writing makes my heart pound and my breath short! Her stories also make me hug my loved ones a little extra after every chapter! I would recommend this book, this author and this series to the reader that likes gore, mystery, and heartache. This is not a fairytale with rainbows and unicorns. No sparkly sunshines here.
And the mystery of Ash Park continues!! This series must be read in order
This part of the story follows the Prosecuting Attorney Shannon Taylor. She is a hard woman. Burned by her cheating ex husband who happens to be her boss. She’s tough and has more guys friends than girlfriends. She is beginning to question what she believes is the truth. She loves her family. And someone is trying to get her to quit.
Then there’s death. Death of the bad guys, death of the people who know too much, and even death of loved ones. It’s the loved one’s deaths that make this story feel too much like reality and really brings on the tears. But having a support system, just that one person to lean on, truly helps. Shannon Taylor has that with her best friend, Curt Morrison. He’s also a detective. He’s Petrosky’s partner, from book one.
Conviction has a little of everything, the murdering psychos, a little romance, and all the feelings that go with them. This author really keeps me entertained with the story line, as I really never know who the murderer is or what is going to happen next.
I enjoyed this story and can not wait to read the next in this series!
If you love murder mysteries, detectives that never quit, and stories that keep you guessing while turning the pages, then this is a book for you.
Detective Petrosky has a past that we get bits and pieces of throughout the story. It doesn’t seem like a good past, which makes him a hardened cop. But he’s perfect for Ash Park and the killer that’s on the loose.
Hannah has a past of her own, which is why she’s in Ash Park. But the sad thing is her past followed her here. Now people around her are dying.
Meghan O’Flynn is a new to me author so I wasn’t sure what to expect from this story. What a surprise! While this story is gruesome to read it is quite the adventure with surprises at every turn. Well worth the read. This story is written in every character’s point of view which certainly keeps the mystery going of who the killer might be! There seems to be an awful lot of crazy in these characters heads.
Looking forward to the next book to see where Detective Petrosky and his friends end up!
Redemption is the fifth book in the brilliant Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. This series just goes from strength to strength, each book delivering an intense, gripping, and polished read. As I have said numerous times now, I am so impressed with Ms. O’Flynn’s ability to spin an incredibly clever thriller- her books just get better and better as the series evolves. The amount of tension, suspense, shocks, and brilliant twists, surprises, and puzzling situations that she infuses into each story really makes me sit up and take notice- always unpredictable right up till the end- delivering heart pounding, stomach clenching, and mind-blowing reading. I read the instalments in fairly quick succession because I didn’t want to forget any of the details- so as each story unfolded, I was held in its grip, anxiously holding my breath, glued to the pages and clamouring to find out what happens….. and I’ve loved every single breathtaking moment. I suppose that this could be read as a standalone if you really wanted to- but, I strongly recommend reading the entire series (or at the very least books #1 and #4) before starting this one and I will explain- this story takes place 6 months after the events of the previous book and there were pertinent, tragic developments that set the tone and mood of this book and impacts on one of the major characters mindset, in a huge way. The author also takes us full circle, taking us back to where this journey began by revisiting events and storyline from book #1- so I feel that having all that information is also important because it gives you a greater perspective of events, motivations, and insight into the recurring cast of characters, backstory, and other pertinent information. All of which will enhance your overall reading experience of this book (and series as a whole)! Detective Edward Petrosky is a broken man. He was already heavily burdened by tragedy and pain from a traumatizing incident 10 years earlier, where his young daughter was brutally raped and murdered. Then the devastating events in the last book (#4) only compounded his feelings and self-loathing, as well as destroying the last remnants of his shattered soul- intensifying his guilt and self-recrimination. He’s in a major funk, down so deep he can’t see any light, feeling like he’s failed all the people he loved. But Ms. O’Flynn will push him to the limits, maybe even going so far as pushing him over the edge. He is thrown into a complex and multi-faceted investigation where the ghosts of the past come back into play. He’s thrust into the most intense situation to date! I can’t say too much more without giving away spoilers but suffice to say I gnawed off all my fingernails as I accompanied him through this shocking, thrilling and complicated story. I really, really, really, really hope that this isn’t the last we’ll see of the Ash Park Series (hint, hint, Ms. O’Flynn ?) Incredible!
