True Colors (The Colors Trilogy Book 3) by K.R. Raye – Review by Ashley Sugar

True ColorsTrue Colors by K.R. Raye
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was so incredible! It brought out so many emotions and that’s what I love in a book. If you can make me upset, if you can bring tears to my eyes, if you can make me laugh out loud, if you can make my heart melt…then it’s a fantastic read in my opinion. I want to feel it all and that’s what True Colors did for me. Lance, Imani and Melody are truly a great trio. They’ve always been the best of friends. And this book did an amazing job with showing how friendships should really be like. Be there for one another no matter what and always be truthful! No matter how bad or embarrassing the truth is, they always spoke about it to one another. And at the end of the day, they always forgave one another. I can’t wait to read the other books!

Oooooh! I love this book so much! First time reading anything by April and after finishing this one, I’ll most definitely be checking out her other books! Gabriel is 🤌🏽🥵 I swear this man is great at dirty talk. The chemistry between him and Celia is great! He’s so intense and I love it. I also just wanna say that Bryan sucks. That’s all I’ll say about him. But the spice in this book was top notch! A girl loves her erotica and the sex in this book was 100! So so good. But also has a good plot too it as well! So it keeps you interested all around! Page turner for sure. Highly recommend!

The Letter Carrier by L.C. Lewis – Review by Ashley Sugar

The Letter CarrierThe Letter Carrier by Laurie L.C. Lewis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When I started this book, I had no idea it’s a true story! It’s not my typical genre of book but I’m so glad that I took a shot at this. What a remarkable book! It’s about Michelle Naget and what her family went through while living in France during WWII. The feelings that were brought out while reading this…out of this world. I couldn’t imagine going through what they went through. And no matter what happened, she continued to have faith! The one thing no one could take away. Having a home with your family just to have nazis invading it all?! It’s chaotic and extremely heartbreaking. Knowing that this is a true book makes me love it even more though. It’s a remarkable/heartwarming read but also devastating as hell. The author did really well with this and I’m impressed. I never took myself as someone who enjoys these kinds of reads and I’m not disappointed at all, that I took a chance on it. I’ll be recommending this to my friends!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved you yesterday, I love you today, and damnit it, I’ll love you tomorrow too 🥹🥹 Joshua is perfect in every way! The love he has for Mavs is out of this world. He’s been in love with her for YEARS. She left him for a decade (one major secret) and even after all this time, she was still in his heart. If you want a book that brings out all the feelings, this is the one for you. Mavs has been through a lot. She sacrificed a lot. She has a HUGE secret, and that secret being the reason she left. And the one person she leaned on through it all, was the one person she probably shouldn’t have. She has a choice to make. Does she choose the guy she is deeply in love with since the beginning or does she choose the guy who helped her pick up the pieces? Read to find out! You won’t be disappointed! This book is definitely a page turner and you won’t want to stop reading!

Reuben has been on the lookout for his Sub, 24 years to be exact. And when he finally finds her…she’s completely opposite of what he envisioned. Bratty wasn’t even a thought lol. But as time goes on, Reuben and Alice actually work for each other. They balance one another out. Book is a lot longer than it should be but that’s ok. Check trigger warnings! Topics are dark and heavy. Tears will happen!

Gotta love a bad boy right? They’re irresistible! Leah couldn’t help but to fall for a thief/criminal. They meet under a crazy circumstance and it’s a blessing in disguise! It really is. Because Dominik and Leah are great for eachother! Dominik is this stubborn bad boy and Leah is this famous country star! From completely different worlds (so you think) Little do you know but Leah has a crazy past herself! 🤔 phenomenal book though! Great plot, amazing characters! I couldn’t put the book down and that’s why I’m up at 2 am 🤣 I just HAD to finish it. The drama, the thrill, the intensity, the spice…it’s all perfect! HIGHLY recommend!

What a wild ride!! I went into this book blind. I just noticed the cover and gave it a shot. Book had me drawn in from the very first page and I’m so glad I read it! The intenseness, the drama!!! I loved it! The characters were amazing! The book was amazing! The entire story was just so good. It’s a page turner and I read it in one sitting! I couldn’t put it down. I couldn’t imagine going through what Angie has went through. It’s extremely messed up!!! And it honestly makes me terrified because it could happen to anyone! But still a good read! This is the first book I’ve read of Kristy’s and I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. I don’t typically read this genre but I’m so glad I gave it a shot. Don’t get me wrong, I love paranormal and supernatural plots. Just never read a book that was like THIS. This book seriously has all the emotions and that’s what I love! I love when a book grabs my attention from the very first page, and that’s exactly what this book did!! I need the second book, ASAP lol. Waiting for books in a series is such torture but I’ll know the next book will be just as awesome. Highly recommend this!! Go check it out!! You’ll be missing out if you don’t!

Saved by Love (Bellevue Bullies Book 7) by Toni Aleo – Review by Ashley Sugar

Saved by Love (Bellevue Bullies #7)Saved by Love by Toni Aleo
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love this book so much! I would give this book 10 stars if I could. Reading from the POV of Evan, who’s going through a lot emotionally, has me relate to him so much. And I love that it shows that men go though things too. They have bad days. They get emotional. They have panic attacks. They get paranoid and constantly think they’re doing something wrong. He’s a good looking, extremely nice man but he’s always doubting himself. He thinks he’s not good enough for anyone or anything. And I relate to that so much, so this book was such an amazing read. I read it so quickly too!! Evan and Callie, they’re cute af together. She’s so understanding and lifts him up so much, it makes my heart melt. Callie has been through some hard times too, but that doesn’t stop her from trying to make him feel better. And Evan is there for her as well. They’re great for each other! So much support and so much love. As for Callie and her sister Aviva…AMAZING relationship. I so badly wish I had that kind of relationship with mine. They’re always there for each other and it’s amazing. You don’t see family like that anymore. Can’t forget, the spice in this book was great as well! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this book.

Not a book I’d typically read but I’m glad I gave it a chance! Imagine being chosen to go live on a island, pretty much inside of a huge dome, because the water around the entire world is contaminated and people are dying. Intense and scary right? I wouldn’t make it lol. But reading the hardships and the struggles..I just couldn’t imagine. This is definitely a page turner. A few surprises but I won’t say what, because I don’t want to spoil anything. I’ll definitely be checking out more books by this author!

Woah, such a good read. I also love when books have different POV from each character. Gives you more of the story! But this one was intense and towards the end it took such a drastic turn! I wasn’t expecting that. Extremely impressed, because I didn’t think that’s what was going to happen! As for the character Rosalie, she’s something else lol. Don’t underestimate that woman. Cate, I enjoyed her character, very like-able. As for Vin and Anastasia, they suck. Anastasia is probably the worse. But I went into this book blind, just based it off the cover. And I’m so glad I read this. 4 stars for me!

This book was a quick read for me. I read it in 3 hours lol. Third person books typically aren’t my favorite but this kept my attention. I love the story line. About a famous girl named Kiki who just wants to be able to be in love behind closed doors. Being in the public eye leaves little to no privacy and this book portrays how that all must be like. Eric is super sweet and super understanding! He’s a mayor of a small town and is in love with a pop star! He’s not one for the cameras and the attention but he will move mountains for JUST KIKI! All around a cute book.

Amber Waves of Grace by Jessica Berg – Review By Ashley Sugar

Amber Waves of GraceAmber Waves of Grace by Jessica Berg
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Not my kind of book but I’ll still give it 3 stars because it’s NOT terrible. Quick and fast read for me. Has great potential and there’s a book out there for everyone. So still give it a shot and don’t judge the book based from my words. Could use more details regarding the story or even the characters. Reading about corries dad, makes me extremely sad though. Being injured after a accident and not being to do what he used too? It’s not fair and breaks my heart. But In no way am I bashing the author or even this book…but definitely different than what I’m used to reading. Im not a religious person so this is first book I’ve read that, that’s got that in it. Im not sure if the author has other books but I’ll still read them if so 🙂

Good old creek side ranch! Slow romance but it was a good read. Gotta love a cowboy! 🤠 it was a quick read and I think it went a little too quickly but it’s still a good one! Out of all the characters, Allie is probably my favorite! She’s sweet! it’s a typical butting heads between the 2 main characters and of course i love the angst lol. I don’t typically like reading third person books, but this one kept me interested ☺️

This book had my attention from the very first page! If you want an amazing read with spice and suspense…then this is the one for you. Remi is this dark guy with a past, he doesn’t wear his heart on his sleeve…but he has a soft spot for a girl in particular. So many things happened in this book and it kept me on my toes! Things happened that I didn’t expect and that’s what makes it great. I love the twists and turns. But of course, the spice 🤌🏽 phenomenal. Remi is definitely a mastermind and I highly recommend this!

Devils breath was such a good read! Cassius is AMAZING and he’s seriously the best. Sera has been dealt the life of crime. Her dad sucks and he’s money hungry. Sera has a tough decision to make..will it be her dad or the person she’s falling for? This book has suspense, crime and some spice! We all love spice lol at least I do. I give this book 5 stars because it kept me interested from the first page. And it was one of those books where you don’t realize how many pages you’ve read because it’s THAT good. You don’t have time to check page numbers. HIGHLY recommend this one.
