I say this with every single review on this series, but this is hands down one of the best series I have ever read! The ending, as much as I didn’t want it to come, was fantastic, and genuinely everything I ever could’ve hope for! I cannot stress enough my love for this series, if you are on the fence or waiting to start reading it, PLEASE just start it now!

It didnt take me long to make an educated guess as to just who was behind everything bad happening in Shane and Winter’s lives. Everything designed to rip them apart only brought them closer. Absolutely phenomenal series, and I cannot wait to read more from Isla Vaughn!

This book is the second in the series, and I throughly enjoyed both these books. I love that you can read them an any order and depending on which one you read first it colors your perspective of who Cal is. This book follows Cal from age 16 to 45 and documents the people and experiences that shaped him into the man he ultimately becomes. I cannot want to read more from this author!!!

We’ve all experienced loss of some kind, have past traumas that we have or haven’t dealt with, and deserve to find our happiness in life after experiencing all that. The emotion in this novel is so overwhelmingly strong, it was like I was feeling everything these characters felt, Annie was so relatable and I loved that.

I have enjoyed this series so far. I love that you can read the books in order but you don’t have to because each one is also a standalone in its own rights. When Alice moves back to her hometown, she has to deal with the way her family looks down on her and treats her; until she meets James, a recently divorced, yet successful artist. Alice is tired of her family meddling in her love life, and decides to take things into her own hands. Will they do more than just fake it, or will they make you.

Disclaimer: please make sure to read Cruel Hate and Cruel Start before reading Cruel Love!
This entire series has quickly become one of my absolute favorites, captivating me completely, and consuming me with so many emotions.
I love how much Phoenix and Aspen grow together in this book, so many things test them and should probably ultimately tear them apart but seeing them open up to each other and learn to trust makes this book even better.

This the second book in this series and it is well written and draws you in easily just as the first book did. Much like the return of the prodigal son Liam comes back into his twin sister Ali’s life, but not without secrets and more scars than he left with. Theresa seems to be running from everything, maybe for good reason when “little accidents” start mysteriously happening. Can they figure out who is behind it all, and why? Although this a series you don’t have to read book one, but I definitely recommend it so you get backstory on these characters.

The incredibly talented Isla Vaughn has done it again! Every book in the Hidden Valley Elite series has absolutely captured me, drawn me in, and kept me wanting more! The writing in each book is superb and Cruel Hate is no exception. I love Phoenix and Aspen’s story, it is so raw, angsty, and feels so real. Please do yourself a favor and read this series. Make sure to read the prequel before reading this, it’s a must for context and backstory alone! Happy reading!

Snap, crackle, pop hot enough to start a fire! This book was so good from the very start! Bad boy rock star meets sweet but fiery girl-next-door, the heat between Blu and Ashleigh was everything and so much more. The characters were real and relatable, as well as many of the issues they faced, and I love to find that in a book!

What little girl didn’t grow up loving fairytales? This is definitely a mature version of one of those. I enjoyed this book, it had everything I enjoy most from a book. An excellent story, relateable characters, steamy scenes, and all the drama! I cannot wait to read more in this series. Bridget has been burned by past relationships, after being dealt the ultimate burn when she discovered her fiancé was cheating on her she goes on the trip that should have been her honeymoon with her best friend. Bridget has always played it safe in life but this time she throws caution to the wind and finds a connection and steamy sex with a complete stranger who just happens to be royal unbeknownst to her. Fynix is feeling the pressure of his role as a monarch and the pressure his parents have placed on him, he never expected the connection he finds with Bridget to change his life in the way it does.

I love a good quick read but definitely wouldn’t have minded it to be a bit longer. This is the first book I’ve read from this author but I would gladly read more by her.

This series just continues to get better and better! Every time I open a new book in this series I fall a little more in love with this author and her ability to tell a story. I love the way the author gave us this teaser for the start of Phoenix and Aspen’s story, and absolutely cannot wait for the rest of the story to come.
One night, one choice can change the trajectory of lives, which both Phoenix and Aspen quickly find out. What was supposed to be one night of fun could link them for the rest of their lives, but the fire between these two is undeniably hot. Both have very similar backgrounds, the difference in their future is how they decide to handle things. Act like their parents, or step up and properly take care of their responsibilities.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have absolutely loved this entire series, honestly, enough that I will likely read again soon! I do not do that often, so that speaks volumes for this series and author!

Brutal Nights is a continuation of Damon and Sky’s story. I’m captivated from the very start with each book and this one was no different. There is so much drama, heat, and angst in this book, Damon and Sky might just be my favorite couple from this series. I am and always will be a sucker for the bully romance trope. Please, if you are a fan of this genre, do yourself a favor and read this series, you will not be disappointed!

I have loved this entire trilogy! Each story is unique on its own with such brilliant writing. Mitch and Lauren’s story was no exception to that. Sometimes what is broken is broken beyond repair and cannot be fixed, but sometimes there is still a little glimmer of hope. Sometimes love might just be enough to put the pieces back together.

I really enjoyed this friends to lovers novel, and cannot wait to read more in the series! Abby and Nate are fun and hot and steamy together. I also feel they are a tad volatile only because even though they know each other so well, they still fail miserably to communicate; especially about the important things.

Abby and Nate have been best friends since childhood, never crossing a line, until Abby passes her 40th birthday and admits that she wants a baby. Nate is quick to offer to give her a baby if they do things the old fashioned way, it is supposed to be just one time, but will that be enough for this pair?

Right in Front of You: Volume One Brinley and AdrianRight in Front of You: Volume One Brinley and Adrian by Brooke May
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Absolutely loved this book, and cannot wait to read more in this series! Shooting was always mine and my dad’s thing, it was a passion we shared. When I opened this book and realized what Brinley’s career was I instantly thought of my dad.
When Brinley and her family move at the age of 10, she and her friends make a blood pact to remain best friends forever. Time and distance does nothing to change the bond they all share. She has major success in her life and becomes a world renowned marksman and olympian. A crazy stalker threatens her happy life. She returns home to Morris Valley to take time for herself and reconnect with her lifelong friends, but it doesn’t come without a lot of excitement. Brinley meets the private and somewhat reclusive Adrian and it’s instant attraction between the two. He will go to any lengths to protect Brinley and keep her safe.
The twist this book takes was totally unexpected. I figured her stalker would be someone she knew, but it was not at all who I would have guessed!

Possibly, but you should indeed read this to find out!

Falling for You (Buckeye Falls, #2)Falling for You by Libby Kay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book, maybe more than the first one. Usually the first book in a series is my favorite, but I really fell in love with Evan and CeCe. I love that these characters are so real and relatable. Heartbreak is a real thing, it’s something that CeCe has dealt with in the past and it keeps her closed off from so many, especially Evan who just wants to love her. Evan is hopeful and optimistic and definitely wears his heart on his sleeve, especially where CeCe is concerned. As hard as she fights it CeCe eventually admits and gives into her own attraction to Evan. How will their budding relationship do when CeCe’s horrible ex comes in to town for a food truck competition? Evan isn’t someone who will give up on CeCe without a hard fight. This is definitely a must read!

I loved the prequel to this book telling how Isaac and Mina met, so I was not surprised at all that I enjoyed this book too! The first book in the series jumps five years into the future from where the prequel left off, when Isaac and Mina met he was “Nolan” and she was “Jack” now they know who the other truly is and, surprise there was a baby produced from that first meeting so many years ago. Gwyn Mcname’s ability to tell a story that sucks you in and steals your ability to put her book down is wonderful, I love books that keep me vested!

This was such a well written book! I cannot wait to read the rest of this series! I was sucked in by this story from the very beginning. There is so much chemistry between Dean and Rae. I love that she is quick witted and doesn’t pull any punches, she speaks her mind and Dean is easily drawn in by her. He is charismatic and a tad bit sad if I’m being honest. These characters are definitely relatable, as I have been through my own share of heartbreak and trust issues, honestly, who hasn’t experienced that at one point in life or another?

Cristy and Adam are like gasoline and matches, their chemistry is palpable. She is a mega pop star with a past, and he is one of the stars of the rock band Balefire. Together they make more than fire! This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I must say she did not disappoint! I cannot wait to read more, I appreciate that I didn’t have to read the other books in the series first to understand what is going on, but I must say I definitely want to read the rest and see if they are truly a standalone series or if they all tie together like I suspect (even subtly).
