Luca and Valenzia are a story that will make you sweat. Holy moly! I loved this story is some sick twisted way. Luca found out that what he knew wasn’t what was. Valenizia found out that she couldn’t believe everything. Mommy and Daddy had lied. Out for revenge, Luca came to realize that a change of heart was needed. This story will have you tearing up for all the emotions. I felt like my heart had been torn up, ripped apart and sewed back together by the end. A beautiful story that is so well-done. I loved the characters. So many twists that you really don’t see coming. I just fell in love with it.

The Secret Humankind: An Urban Fantasy Thriller is the first book in The Discoveries of Julia Xero series. This is a fast-paced thriller with a strong female character taking charge. Julia is an orphan who is thrown into controversies and with duplicitous characters. Everything she thought she knew is thrown out the window. Will she figure out what is going on before it’s too late? I enjoyed the world-building and Julia’s character. A lot is going on, but it is well-written and doesn’t detract only adds to the story. There are twists and turns, lots of action, and suspense to keep you reading late into the night. I look forward to reading more in this series to see what adventures Julia Xero is taken on in the future.

This is the second book in this series but can be read as a stand alone. The first book is just as great as this one and one you don’t want to miss. This is a well written story where a best friend’s wedding and hate sex bring two unlikely people together. I enjoyed these two characters. They added so much to the story and made it easy for me to read. I enjoyed how they brought the story to life on each page and I had no problems connecting with them. This is a fast paced, engaging story where the author’s use details to make you feel as if you are part of the story. There is great growth of the plot and characters which are added to the story. This is a story that I really enjoyed reading. I highly recommend this book and this series.

This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. An author that has great writing style and their attention to details make you feel part of the story. This is the second book in this series and is just as great to read as the first one. I enjoyed the characters and what they brought to the story. They pull you into their world and keep you engaged to the end. This is a story about crossing lines and bringing peace to families instead of betrayal. This is a well written story that is hard to put down and fast paced. This is one you don’t want to miss for sure. There is great growth of the characters and plot which made the story easy to read. I enjoyed this story and I highly recommend it.

Marked Wolf was another great read. I highly recommend you reading the first book so you can understand and follow along! If you love a good fantasy/shifter book, I recommend this series. The world building and characters had great detailing and can tell the author put a lot of thought into it. This was a page turner for me. I can’t wait to read the 3rd book now!!

Lois Wickstrom always writes great children’s books. This one was no different. They pictures was colorful and illustrated exactly what was being read. I read this book to my 9 year old, and she really enjoyed it. If you want a cute but engaging story, this is the book for you!

This book was just crazy. I loved it and was hooked from the very first chapter. I really wish I read book 1 first but didnt realize the order of them is recommended to be read that way. Daphne is visiting Lovolia for her best friend Bridget’s wedding to prince Fyn. Every time Daphne comes for a visit, her and Fyn’s best friend…a member of the Royal guard Lev are at eachothers throats. They can’t stand eachother. He’s always grumpy and she’s just loud with no clue on how to act around royalty. Things change in the reading room at the wedding. These two finally hate screw eachother thinking it will get it out of their system.
Daphne is dropped off at the airport when the couple leaves for their honeymoon but she decides to go to Elysium….only one problem…that’s where lev is staying for holiday while Fyn and Bridget are on their honeymoon.
When Lev finds out Daphne is there, he wants her to leave. Both of these characters have lots of baggage. Lots of things on their minds. They agree to stay out of eachothers way until they don’t.
Just when you think you know what’s going to happen, the suspense of the situation hooks you right in.
There’s a lot more to this book than 2 people who can’t stand eachother hooking up at their best friends wedding. There’s lots of feelings. There some happy, some sad, some scared and some heat! Great 5 star book

The Anchor Knot was a beautifully written story that was really engaging to read about. I really liked the characters especially Gabby. She seemed like a really likeable and down to earth person who is really struggling with who she is meant to be and if she is being true to herself. She really was selfless person she always put everyone else first and made sure that everyone around her was happy – even if that meant she did always feel that way herself. I really enjoyed Gabby’s story she really grew over the story and realised that she mattered as a person. There were some very good unpredictable twists in the story too. Overall, I really enjoyed this story and will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.

I’ve really been enjoying these stories by this author. I find them really easy to read and they have great characters. I love the time period that these stories take place in, so much struggle goes on in these times with regards to interracial relationships and I love that the author tackles this with such amazing story lines and characters. I loved Billie Jean! She certainly was not afraid to stand up for what she believed. She had a great confidence and independence about her that made her so amazing to read about. She definitely didn’t see Fisher coming along though! There was this instant attraction between them that was definitely undeniable and I really enjoyed seeing them evolve as a couple and navigate the barriers of that time period when it came to their relationship.

This was such an adorable book. I read it with my 3-year-old and he loved it. He loves numbers so I knew this book would be a winner. The illustrations were so colourful and engaging he loved looking at them and finding things within the picture. The writing is beautiful, so easy to read and engaging for my little boy because of the rhyming words. This book was definitely a 5-star winner in this house and one I would highly recommend to young children who are starting out on their counting and learning numbers journey!

This was such a wonderful story and would make an amazing book on any child’s bookshelf. This is the second book of C.L Schneider that I love her stories. She takes you to places that keep you attached to the scene and the character. Every part of the book talks about the place and how that character feels. Well in my point of view. And the covers are amazing as well so many details that leave you speechless.
Now in this book, we are at the place of Maldarehm which might seem beautiful but there is many traps or secrets that I was not aware of them at first. Since the first book Ian escaped the Wandering Isles, he wanted to go ashore. See what I did not know is that there is another character Kane who ran into Ian and both got surprised at this Maldarehm. Where there were magic and rituals that caused to be risks in their lives.
This book is amazing because in each chapter there were different plots and scenes that kept me going.

Love , Only Better is the first book in the Bold Journeys Series and is a wonderfully Women’s Fiction that I absolutely loved reading. This is a book every woman should read even if they haven’t experienced what our main character has. It’s a story about discovery yourself and your sexuality, your wants, your needs . Rebecca has been through it all she’s lost another boyfriend and she doesn’t like sex. She decides to go after what she wants and seeks out a Dr who tells her she’s fine. Not happy with that she sets out to get the one thing she is lacking and that’s intimacy and reaching the big “O” . This is a fast paced story that had me turning the pages. This may be one of those subjects no one likes to talk about but this author did an amazing job. This is my first book by her but definitely not my last. I highly recommend reading this book and I look forward to reading more from this Author.

A Forever Kind of Thing by Carrie Thomas and Melinda Harris is a YA romance woven with plenty of teen drama, angst, and emotion. Not having read any of these two authors work before, I wasn’t sure of what to expect from one of their stories, but I do enjoy YA books, and the cover piqued my curiosity enough to want to find out, plus I really needed a ‘break’ from the heavier reads I have been devouring of late, so I took a chance and set off to explore. The story is kind of sweet, with teen issues that we can all relate to that added drama and angst to the story. Mina and Wes are great characters who were lovingly crafted by the authors into fully realised individuals with their own unique personalities, quirks, and flaws. They were realistic and believable. I just wish I had been able to connect with them enough to really invest in their story. I did like the story but didn’t love it as much as I was hoping to. But that might be a ‘me’ thing, as I have been reading a lot of heavier/darker stories of late- so I have decided to revisit this book again soon to see if perhaps I was just having an ‘off’ reading day with this book the first time around. But, if you love angsty teen stories with heartache, opposites attract, second chances, and plenty of emotion- then you will probably want to add this to you TBR. Happy Reading…

Sing For Me is the second book in the Balefire series by Tam DeRudder Jackson. It is a New Adult contemporary rockstar romance with ‘the girl-next-door’ element, tension, chemistry, sparks, emotion, secrets, drama, angst, and hot spicy details. I know that I have come into this series a little backwards, reading in descending order, but luckily these books can be read as standalones without feeling lost in the storyline, as each book in the series focuses on a different member of the Balefire rock band. This is Blu Connolly’s turn, and he’s the sexy lead singer of the band. Ashleigh is his new next-door neighbour who captivates Blu more than he was prepared for. But, sometimes love comes unexpectedly- as these two discover. Definitely my favourite of the series, so far. Happy Reading…

5/5 Stars I just finished the summer I turned pretty and was very happy for this to be my next read. It’s all the teenage feelings that make you swoon and giddy. It is such a good book and very well written even though it’s about high schoolers. I didn’t feel too old to be reading it. Definitely recommend.

Of the few I have read this series is amongst the top. It’s always nice to read about a couple that has somewhat of a past and ends up getting their HEA. Riordan and Priscilla met as young children and essentially grew up together. Priscilla took a chance and tried to start something romantic with Riordan but he rejected her due to fearing repercussions from her father. It’s been 17 years since they’ve seen each other but the sparks are still there and it seems like no time has passed at all. Although this is the third book of a series it is the first one that I have read. There was great character development and the author did a great job if keeping me engaged. I enjoyed reading about Donna and Antoine. The book has a good pace to it and didn’t drag anything out. At first I was a little leery of the book since Donna was contemplating just ending everything and then Antoine had come and saved her. Once I read further into the book, I was glad that I kept reading. The character development was fantastic. Seeing go from the lowest point to being confident in herself again made me cheer out for joy for her. Gustav as the villain was really good. I was surprised I found myself liking him just a little. Very well done and well written! I lost many hours reading this book!
Well I’m a sap. And this is a sad but sappy and happy story. Regaining Integrity can give even the slightest empath, the feels. The author sucks you in, though I’m not surprised having read her books in the past. This book is no different. She’s one of my favorites for a reason. Every single book I’ve read by her makes me feel like I’m the main character. I feel the happiness, sadness, the hurt and pain. I can relate to the characters because they are so raw and real. Angelica and Chase have been given a chance. Her chance to forgive. And him to right his wrongs, that is if he can figure out how he wronged her. Coming off feisty Chase doesn’t understand why she is this way with him. It’s new and unfamiliar territory, but he knows he still wants more of her and it won’t stop it. A second chance romance that makes one happy. And though this is the 4th book in the series, it’s a standalone just the same. If you’re new to this author I encourage you to read it all, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re a fan as I am, enjoy.

I don’t know how this series keeps getting better and better, but it does! This is the continuation story of Issac Hawke and Jack, whom we met in the prequel, “Night Hawke.” Several years after their first steamy encounter, Jack shows back up in Isaac’s life and boy does she have a surprise for him.
I’m a sucker for a great secret baby book and this one definitely doesn’t disappoint as Gwyn McNamee has filled it full of twists and turns that will keep you glued to the page. These characters are well written and have the chemistry to set a volcano ablaze! I really love this story and this series.

Rebecca is on a mission to find her orgasm. This book does a great job at focusing on the how, when and why she does the things she does to discover if she is able to reach the pinnacle of climax. Finding a hot neighbor in the process is just adding another layer to it. This book was not only entertaining it was also educational. Well written and enjoyable.

I want to know how I get to be a part of the Hawke family! Gwyn McNamee has written another great installment in The Hawke Family Second Generation and let me tell you these books are all so colorful and well written that I am most definitely hooked on this series and this family.
In this book we see the love story of Jude and Angie unfold. The romance was wonderful to read, but I also enjoyed seeing the friendship between Jude and Allie and how much she and the whole Hawke family meant to him. I was amazed at Jude’s story while reading this to see what all he has grown through and endured, while still becoming a great man. This book is also just another great reminder that family doesn’t have to be blood! I can’t wait for the next book to come out as I’ve read all the original Hawke series and now all this series that’s available. If you like a tight-knit family that looks out for one another mixed in with some romance and steam, then you definitely want to check out these series.

Not only is he trying to solve two crimes at once, he is also trying to keep an important witness alive as well. The crime scenes point to Mafia involvement, but as always anything is possible. Follow Detective Scala on another adventure. I have read one other book in this series and this one was just as good as that one. As far as I can tell they do not to be read in any particular order but I like to read a series in order. This book was engaging and kept my attention trying to solve the mystery. Good morning. What a way to start a book, Hehe. I am in love with this series having read the prequel and book one I had been counting down the days until this book finally came out and I had a chance to read it. Jude and Angelina were mentioned in the previous books but not in depth. Finally, we get to see inside Jude’s world and discover why he is so recluse and the heartbreak of his first ten years of life before the Hawkes rescued him. Jude had been a Hawke for twelve years, and from the very beginning Angelina had stolen his heart. After a life of nothing but pain and fear he had finally found someone that made him feel safe, accepted, and cared for. Angelina is the eldest Hawke second generation, her coffee shop is thriving, but the problems start stacking up quickly in her world. Allie, Jude’s best friend and Angelina’s younger sister, is suddenly more unreliable than ever. Always late, missing and not showing up where she should be when she should be. Fear and worry force Jude to text Angelina and be in the same room with her for the first time in two years. She is the literal dream girl that chases away his nightmares and yet that is all she can ever be, in his dreams. Everything about him captured Angelina’s attention and like Jude it has only grown with the years. Cassius of course once again rears his handsome evil face when Falco Enterprises purchases the space the Hawkes have wanted for years. To make matters worse, they plan to open a coffee shop, just down the street from Angelina’s, Hawkes Daily Grind. Taking place roughly four months after book one, the previous idea of an art gallery/studio comes up by Isaac. What if they have a grand opening the same day or shortly before to steal the attention away from the Falco coffee shop. Only problem, the space is across from Angelina’s and is Jude’s space for his dream of owning a bookshop only it has been three years since the lot was purchased and still nothing has been opened or even shows signs of something to come. Will Jude ever get the courage to finally tell Angelina how he feels about her? Why has Allie been disappearing? Can Jude overcome his fears and finally live the life he wants to have? Once again, the talented Gwyn McNamee has captured my heart from page one leaving me on the edge of my seat as I rush to the end to find out how it all ends. The ever-evolving world she has created, how it continues to grow revealing more information and secrets along the way. The depth of the characters and how deep their pain and trauma go. Her ability to show the vulnerability of each character and them overcoming their trauma to find the life they crave and deserve leaves you with the feel good when you reach the last page. Can’t wait for book three to see what the Hawkes will face and overcome next in Relentless Hawke, October 26th, 2023. Who captured Cassius Whitakers cold black heart?

Loooooove this book! And I’m obsessed with Isaac! He protects the people he loves and he doesn’t second guess about anything. He’s also such a tease 😈 but it’s so so spicy! 🌶 Someone very important to him left him 5 years ago but now she’s back. And with a surprise! He definitely wasn’t expecting that. Book is full of angst but I’m here for it! There’s drama and action and spice and romance and I couldn’t get enough of it. The entire story was simply AMAZING and I couldn’t stop reading..I just HAD to know what happens next. I love the Hawke family and I know you will too! Please read this!
