This book was everything I have been looking for in a good MM book. There was tragedy, loss, pain, but then there was the moment of being uplifted and healing!

This is one series I never hesitate to read! each book is unique and beautifully written to bury down in your heart!Th relationship ( however strained ) is fire! The connection will sizzle the pages and their journey to HEA is well worth the ride!

Love this book and series! It should be one everyones one click list!

Rowan Shaw has done it again with another incredible read to this series. In Revive we follow Patrick & Brandon story. They have a chemistry that is strong and unique that I loved watching develop. You get taken on a rollercoaster ride with this read, we face ups and downs and a storyline that its captivating, real and relatable.
Once again Rowan Shaw has created characters that are real, well developed and really stand-out, and leave you stopping and really thinking.

This author definitely has a way with words as I keep becoming more and more invested in her reads, each one becomes better than the one before and keeps me turning the pages. I cant wait to see what else this author can bring to this series, but ill be eagerly awaiting. I highly recommend this read and the others in the series!

Revive (Rewind Book 3) by Rowan Shaw
My rating 5 out of 5 stars

To say I’m obsessed and completely in love with Rowan Shaw books is an understatement. Both of the first 2 books in the Rewind series as well as this one have completely blown me away. I love the characters, the story line, the drama, everything. I really appreciate getting to see characters from the previous books appear in this book, it is nice to remember their stories while reading about Brandon and Patrick

Oh Brandon and Patrick, great couple. The way they both meet at a club and then the next day find out they are client and therapist is so dramatic, and I love it! I was wondering how it would work out between them due to this relationship but I was in for a nice little journey. Patrick having a phobia against bi people is actually pretty easy to understand when we find out what he went through in his life to warrant this disdain. Brandon seems like such a sweetheart and then when we get to see what his past was like, it’s easy to understand him as well. Both men you can tell are in love with each other but take their time explaining things and putting their love out in the open for each other. I was very nervous about how this was going to end with the little twist at the end but I had a feeling it was going to end well and I was not disappointed.

Rowan Shaw is an amazing MM writer and I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the books in this series so far. I highly recommend these books and they can be read as stand alones but, I would recommend the full series because the characters overlap and its nice to have that background. Well done another fantastic book, I can’t wait to see what is in store next.

Revive by Rowan Shaw is the third book in the Rewind series. This can be read as a standalone and fully enjoyed, but the other books are good also. Brandon is a recently divorced father who is grappling with his sexuality. Patrick is single and does not think he is relationship material. What happens when the two hook up one evening? This is a good story dealing not only with a fledgling relationship. I also liked Brandon is dealing with his bisexuality and the prejudice he comes across. This is dealing with realistic topics and handles it well. I will be keeping an eye out for more books from Rowan Shaw in the future.

My curiosities about Patrick are finally answered. Revive is an emotional one night stand turned doctor/patient romance with dealing with bisexuality. We all know the people who say they don’t do relationships are the ones who fall the hardest. Patrick and Brandon have smokin’ chemistry but at times the back and forth got a little too much. It was good to see characters from the previous books and meeting some new ones too.

I love how Rowan Shaw takes real situations in the LGBT world and adds them to her books. I have said this before but Rowan is quickly becoming a fave author of mine who writes M/M romances. So looking forward to Rebound.

Revive is the third book in the Rewind story by Rowan Shaw. The book is a M/M bisexual romance book wjth drama included. Shaw writes an all in story that grabs you from the beginning. The characters are believable and can be your next store neighbors. His complex writing style kept me engaged in the book at all times. This story is about Patrick and Brandon. There is one tiny problem for Brandon his just had sex with Patrick. It usually not a problem but Patrick turns out to be Brandon therapist. The rest is what they say is history. Will Patrick and Brandon able to break through the barriers that lie ahead for them? Can they be who they want to be or will society tell them who they are to be? Fine this out and more when you read this story.

5-Stars

Revive (Rewind Book 3) by Rowan Shaw was steamy and romantic. Two hunky men and amazing fun. I loved Patrick and Brandon. All the ups and downs and the shocking surprise if Brandon being a client after the hook up. Wow. This story was a lot of fun to read. It had an easy flow and fun vibe. It seemed professionally edited and developed well. The story had a good plot and climax. I also loved how developed the characters were. This book is part of a collection of books in a series but can be read as a standalone. Brandon was my favorite character. I loved that he could play the piano and shared with others by teaching it. His ex wife was also hilarious this book. I highly recommend it!

Revive (Rewind #3)Revive by Rowan Shaw
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Revive is the 3rd instalment in the erotic, queer Rewind series by Rowan Shaw. It can be read as a stand-alone but in my humble opinion, I think it would be enjoyed better if you at least read the first book ‘Rewind’ before this one.
I loved the first 2 books in this series but was a bit hesitant before reading this one as I really didn’t like Patrick when we first met him in Rewind. However I have to say that Patrick did redeem himself in Revive. Having had a bad experience with a bi man before, therapist Patrick is very anti-bi and doesn’t hide this fact. So how is he going to react when the gorgeous man he had a one night stand with appears as his patient the next day and turns out to be bi?
I absolutely adored Brandon. Having been married to a bi woman, Brandon is scared of coming out as bi to his mother as his father turned out to be bi and left them. Brandon also hasn’t had any relationship with a man yet so is very confused and unsure how to deal with the beautiful enigmatic Patrick. The conflict in his head is wonderfully written by Rowan Shaw.
In addition this book has an awesome scene stealer. Brandon’s daughter Wei is an amazing character. I just loved her wit and outlook on life. She’s a total breath of fresh air.
Loving this series so far and looking forward to book 4.

Revive by Rowan Shaw a rocking four-star read. This is number three in the Rewind series and I have read and enjoyed the series they get better with each read and story, but you could read it as stand-alone. If you have read the previous novels then definitely read the note from the author, as This will surprise you, I was so empathetic towards Patrick and this surprised me as I didn’t enjoy his character previously, but this author has a way of making you really care about the people in these stories, makes you see people differently, make you think differently. It was steamier than I would normally have gone for in this genre, but the author has a way of making it an integral part of the story and just more compelling reading.

Shaw doesn’t shy away from this latest book. Readers should take the summary and caution at face value. This will not appeal to all readers except to say that the characters are beautifully written. They are thorough and thoughtful and complete and absolutely relatable. This story stands alone well but the characters are even more greatly appreciated when read in the context of the whole series.

Revive (Rewind #3)Revive by Rowan Shaw
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

REVIVE is the 3rd book in the “Rewind” series and can be read as a stand-alone, but I would really recommend reading REWIND first because there is a common thread to both stories. Also, it will help you to develop reading in a French accent (seriously, am I the only one that does this?)

REVIVE has a warning that there is a some “bi-phobia” in the book and I was surprised the direction where that phobia came from. It was an interesting twist I thought. This is a developed story with strong characters. Sometimes I didn’t care for the characters and kind of wanted them to go away but it kept me on my toes.

Told in Dual POV and with wonderful secondary characters, the story was an “enjoyable” read. As always, I appreciate the interactive guide the author provides.

A four star recommendation from me ****

Revive by Rowan Shaw is the third book in the Rewind series. This book can be read as a stand-alone although the whole series is definitely worth reading!
This book has to be my favourite of the series so far. I loved the relationship between Patrick and Brandon right from the start. I felt their connection which I think made me connect with them that bit more than any others in the series.
The author also packed her usual creative writing into this whole book. I was swept away with the story and I really enjoyed the depth and complexity of it. I thought the author did a great job of exploring a the side of a subject that is still very much prevalent in today’s world. She did it with such an ease and sensitivity towards it.
This is a fantastic book and one that I think everyone should read.

Revive (Rewind #3)Revive by Rowan Shaw
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rowan Shaw is my favorite go to author for MM romance! I love this series, even the fact that some are stand-alone stories! I love these characters!
Brandon and Patrick are strong men, who happen to like other men. However, Patrick has an issue with Brandon. With such strong characters and feelings and beliefs, it will be a wonder if they can figure it out.

I like the flow of this story. The tension builds quickly between the characters but not at an unbelievable pace. Shaw keeps the pages turning and the tension building. Real life situations and feelings make this story so good.

Revive, along with the others in this series, is for open minded readers only. The characters are gay, bisexual, straight and pan. This story is about the love two people can share, about how different everyone is and about being happy together.

Highly recommend this love story.

Revive (Rewind Book 3) by Rowan Shaw. This book was amazing. It’s the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone. I suggest reading the others first because other characters do appear in this book from the others. This book is the story of Patrick Lefevre who lives in France and is a very successful Psychotherapist. Patrick loves his family, friend and hookups! No relationships, he doesn’t have time for that. When he meets newly divorced Brandon Smith who is out with his ex and her friend they have an immediate connection. After talking for awhile they hook up and its amazing. Only Brandon doesn’t realize that Patrick is his new Therapist and his first appointment is tomorrow. Also throw in Brandon’s problem not being open about being bisexual and Patrick’s huge dislike for bisexuals there are kinks all over the place. Patrick realizes his feelings for Brandon are deeper than a one night stand but will all the red signs stop him from even trying. Brandon is also a single dad who may have to leave France for his daughter. This was such a fun read. Full of steamy scenes, emotions and love! Read Revive you won’t be disappointed!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rowan Shaw has brought to life another beautiful and sweet couple that I just couldn’t get enough of in Revive. I might be a bit odd but I enjoy the premise of the story. Something about the situation makes it seem so much more realistic and I love reading about how things go down. The first two books in the series were a bit heavier reads as far as subject matter so this was also nice to have a bit more of an airy and light tone to it.

Brandon and Patrick really make Revive shine. These two had no idea that the one night stand that blew their minds would come full-circle the way it does. How do you keep a professional mind about your therapist when you realize you slept with them??? As you can imagine this left room for laughter and some pretty hefty emotions too. It was a well balanced though and I enjoyed the way I felt as if I was there with the characters. Shaw really can build up a scene and make you feel like you went on a magical adventure. I look forward to seeing what will come next from Rowan Shaw!

Revive is the third book in the Rewind Series by Rowan Shaw. It is an M/M bisexual romance, with plenty of angst and drama. As with all Rowan Shaw’s stories, it pulled me in right from the beginning. The story is quite emotive- it is so well written that the characters and situations were completely ‘real’ and believable. And as I have said previously- Ms. Shaw certainly knows how to tell a great story- writing a complex, thought-provoking, moving, and memorable story.
This is Patrick and Brandon’s story. Brandon is about to discover that the man he just slept with will turn out to be his new therapist. Oops. Now what? Will they be able to keep things ‘professional’- or will their chemistry blur the lines between therapist and patient?
A beautiful story about connections, overcoming prejudices, being true to yourself, self-discovery, romance, issues, and so much more.

Thank you, Rowan Shaw!

When Patrick was first introduced in a previous book, I was curious about his character. I loved learning more about him in this story, and watching his personal growth. Not going to lie, around chapter 34/35 I started tearing up because of the way things were shaping up. I love a book that will get me so invested in the characters.

I wanted to read this because it’s finally Patrick’s story. But I really really disliked him at the beginning. Once he started making internal changes I changed my mind and settled in to enjoy the rest of the story. Then came the feelings of sadness and heartbreak.

I was glad to meet Brandon. He is different than other characters we have met in the series. Wei added some fun times and laughter to the story. I was glad she was added. I liked the French cuisine info and how it differed and sometimes is non existent in America. Brandon’s reaction to French food was as much fun as Patrick’s to American food.

I have loved this whole series. This one is no exception. I love seeing/reading about the love of a person. These guys have all been through the ringer and have come out on the other side. I saw the next book and I am looking forward to more from this group of friends and lovers.

This is a lovely story about how our views can be changed when we find someone we love

Patrick is a gay man who doesnt do relationships. All he cares about is hook-ups, his friends and family. He also has a dislike for men who are bi and hes made his feelings know more than once. That is until he meets Brandon.

Brandon is bi who used to be married to a female and they have a daughter. He goes to a club and meets Patrick. That chance meeting ends up in a night of passion neither of them can forget.

Can Patrick overcome his rules about bi men? Can he settle down with Brandon or will he constantly be looking for his next hook-up?

This is a lovely story about how they both have to overcome challenges to be together.

Revive was a great 4 star read and book three in the Rewind series and can be read as a stand alone.

I really liked Brandon and Patrick and their story.
Brandon is a single father who has been struggling with coming out, when he has a one night stand with a hot man things get even harder for him. Brandon gets a very unexpected surprise when he meets his new therapist, Patrick, the one night stand.

Will the chemistry between these two test the patient, doctor boundaries? Can they have more?

Patrick has certain issues with bi men, and when he discovers Brandon is bi can he get past his issues? We also learn why Patrick feels the way he does, which helped me understand his feelings.

Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the secondary characters were great, I had several LOL moments. I really like the alternating POV, it gives you a chance to see what each of them are thinking. This isn’t a genre I read often but I was really pulled in by Rowan Shaw’s writing and I look forward to reading more from her. 1-click and get started today on this read.

Will they just a professional relationship or will they give in to their feelings for each other? What does the future hold for Patrick and Brandon? Read this book to find out. Return (Rewind Book 2)
By Rowan Shaw

Return is the second book in the Rewind series by Rowan Shaw. I probably should mention that this is a bisexual romance, if you don’t like this type of stories, I wouldn’t probably read it. However, for those of us that can read this type of storyline you are absolutely going to love this book especially if you liked Rewind. Now I have found while this is a part of a series it can be read as a standalone. Return is centered around Adrien and Raphel. Liked both main characters and I really wouldn’t be able to pick which of these two I would say was my favorite. What I also liked about this book was that the secondary characters added another level to this story, so love a book when you get to know the secondary characters as well as the primary characters. Return is written so well it just seems to flow nicely. You will probably get a little lost in this book for the simple reason you are not going to be able to put the book down, until life rudely interrupts.

Return (Rewind #2)Return by Rowan Shaw
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A great read about opposites. Raphael is just looking for a flat in Paris. He finds one but the owner seems to be an arrogant young man with erotic pictures on his walls. With nowhere else to go, Raphael takes a risk and moves in despite their opposites. Can they get along and make it work?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Adrien sarcastic and arrogant but vulnerable underneath or Raphael cautious and shy but caring underneath. I really liked the contrasts between them done to perfection to make their dislike relatable. The only issue I would raise is that I felt that Daniel was unnecessary and jarred from the narrative.
I loved the visual detail throughout the novel like with the inside Ariens hous with the wide rooms and white floors and ornate tiles for a sense of luxuty.and contrasting wonderfully with the bold and bright colours of the paintings perfectly written. Or the college in the rain with the umbrella and waiting in the queue so vivd it’s as if you’re actually there.
Once again, a wonderful tale about sexuality with a wonderful representation of gay people and their struggles in society. The switch of perspectives worked well to display both sides of the story and different ways of life and was easy to follow with names in chapter titles. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

Return by Rowan Shaw is the second book in the Rewind series and WOW it was an incredible book. From page one and until the end, I fell in love with the characters and could not put down. This book tells the story of Raphael and Adrien. Raphael is a student and he cannot afford a place of his own in Paris. He then meets Adrien and moves in with him. He’s a man with such amazing charisma but also many secrets. There is an attraction between them both, but Raphael is worried to take that leap and mess up having a place to stay. How long can they ignore the attraction between them? Can maybe one night help the sexual tension?
I loved this book and highly recommend. Rowan Shaw has given us an amazing FIVE star read!

This is the second book in this series but it can be read as a standalone but I would suggest reading the first one because it’s awesome and also because it’s where we first met Raphael. I am so glad that this book is just as good as the first. There is a lot of raw emotion in this story. I was completely drawn into the story needing to know where the relationship was going to go between Adrian and Raphael, and I also really felt connected as I found out more about each character. I couldn’t help but want everything to work out for each of them whether they end up together or not. The chemistry and attraction between these two was evident from the beginning. There are some intimate romantic scenes in this story and I found that they were done tastefully without losing any of the heat that comes with these scenes. I loved reading this story I highly recommend it and I cannot wait to read the next one.
