Dracones Guardian is Book 6 in the Dracones Series which can be read as a stand-alone. This is a brilliant paranormal, fantasy read that has romance, edge of your seat action and adventure. It was a captivating read from start to finish and held me entranced the entire time. It flows from chapter to chapter and while it is fast-paced you never get lost within the story.
I absolutely loved the characters, Zander & Chloe’s story was an epic one at that, they have an instant connection and their chemistry was undeniable. But can the feelings and connection these two have be enough for them to take a chance on love?
I loved the supernatural world that we got brought into, this author has created a read that is mentally visual throughout as though I was there living out the story myself.

Squall Line is book 1 in a new series from Gwyn McNamee, and a little different than what she normally writes, but nonetheless I was totally captivated and intrigued by this read, from the start until the very end!

Gwyn McNamee has once again created two brilliant main characters that are real, relatable and very easy to enjoy reading about and following their journey.
War & Grace have a connection that is undeniable and immediately puts them into a new position. Gwyn has given these two characters an epic story that really makes stand out and tell their journey. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tainted Saint is another incredible read in The Hawke Family Series, every book in this series has been brilliant from start to finish and this one is no exception.

To me, for the best experience of this book, it should be read as part of a series and not as a stand-alone. You will not be disappointed with this read, it is full of twists & turns that will have you on the edge of your seat throughout. Once again Gwyn McNamee has created two incredible characters that have been introduced to us throughout the rest of the series, they have always been ones to intrigue me so I really was looking forward to getting Saint & Caroline’s story, and boy oh boy their story was captivating at that.

MaddJax Series, Boxed Series Set, Book One & Book TwoMaddJax Series, Boxed Series Set, Book One & Book Two by Deborah Ann
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a read and an incredible introduction to Deborah Ann. This book was incredible from the get-go, it was steamy, sexy, passionate, raw & real. While reading Maddison & Jaxon’s story it made you feel all the feels, I’ve been frustrated, I’ve laughed, I’ve had tears but most of all I have loved everything about this book. Deborah Ann has a written a book that flows effortlessly from chapter to chapter.
She has created two characters that as the reader you become passionate about following their story and hoping they get the HEA they so rightly deserve. While the story takes some ups and downs and times where you have wanted to physically yell at the main character’s decisions I couldn’t put this read down.

This book was everything and more! Its a brilliant second chance read that shouldn’t be missed! Even better is the fact you don’t have to wait forever to delve into Maddison’s & Jaxon’s story as Book 2 continues straight after!
Its an epic, romantic read that shouldn’t be missed, I highly recommend this read to all!

The Vampire Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 3) by Brandi Elledge – Review by Chantelle Smith

The Vampire Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 3)The Vampire Queen by Brandi Elledge
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow! How many more times can I possibly say that Brandi Elledge just continues to get better and better! Book 1 was an incredible start, exciting and a brilliant introduction Book 2 was thrilling, exciting and totally captivating from the start. This book The Vampire Queen has been incredible from start to finish.

Tandi and Stephan have now become my all-time favourite through this whole series, while the other characters in previous books have been amazing to follow, there is just something about Tandi & Stephan that has made me smile the entire read! I absolutely loved the banter and the back and forth these two had, but also the protectiveness that both of them showed each other at certain times. You could tell something would come of these two as their connection was undeniable even if they tried to ignore it when it was in plain sight.

I loved learning along with characters, especially finding out all what was beneath the surface of Tandi and her unusual behaviour towards Vampirism. I also loved reading that there was more to Stephan than what we found out in previous books, whether that was the amount of power he actually possesses and of the heartache he has had to face at the hands of the Vampire Queen.
Again Brandi Elledge has created a mentally visual read that I could picture the entire time I was reading this captivating, thrilling, suspenseful read, I can not fault the writing, the plot or the characters whatsoever. Everything about this book I loved! I once again would just love for it to have been in dual POV there were many scenes with Stephan that I needed to know what he was really thinking and feeling!

I CANNOT recommend this book enough, I loved every single bit of it! This is a book not to be missed, as well as a series that should not be missed! I can’t wait to see what else this author brings to this series and I will definitely be looking out for more of her reads.

Death and the Crone: Book Three of the Lucky Devil Series by Megan Mackie – Review by Chantelle Smith

Death and the Crone: Book Three of the Lucky Devil SeriesDeath and the Crone: Book Three of the Lucky Devil Series by Megan Mackie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Death and the Crone is Book 3 in The Lucky Devil Series. After reading the previous two books in the series I was more than happy to get the follow on book, but this one intrigued me even more as the storyline and the characters are not something that you would usually put together in a supernatural/fantasy read.
But nonetheless, this book was just as interesting, captivating and packed full to the brim. The storyline was easy to follow, the characters are well developed and it was an enjoyable book from start to finish.

This author definitely has a creative writing style that’s captivating and enjoyable in every way, and I continue to enjoy her reads every time. I highly recommend this read and look forward to what else is to come from this series.

The Queen of Witches (Wheel of Crowns Book 2) by Brandi Elledge – Review by Chantelle Smith

The Queen of Witches (Wheel of Crowns Book 2)The Queen of Witches by Brandi Elledge
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow, Book 2 in The Wheel of Crowns Series has just stepped up a notch. When I thought the suspense, action, adventure and sexiness of the men in Book 1 was a lot, Brandi Elledge brings us The Queen of Witches. Once again the read was captivating, thrilling and action-packed from start to finish and I couldn’t put it down.

This was a mentally, visual read that with the descriptive writing I could picture this read in my mind while reading it, I loved this take on the supernatural world and can’t wait to see where the rest of this series takes us. This author has created another extremely independent, fierce and amazing lead female, that through this story continues to show how powerful she can really be and how well she transitions into this new life she has come unexpectedly into. Once again the immediate attraction between out two main characters Charlie & Jamison is real to watch develop, even with everything they have to face they still manage to find the time to really look at each other and see the feeling and affection that blossoms there.

Another thing that Brandi Elledge brings to each of these books is the humor element of the story, and this time it was in the form of the incredible friend Tandi, I absolutely loved her, I loved her commentary that she would give and the little comments slipped here and there into the conversation just made this book even better.
My only issue is would love this read in dual POV’s there were moments in this book and Book 1 that you really needed to get the male leads POV, I think that would just make these reads that one step deeper.

Overall I have loved everything from this author, there is not one thing I can fault about this epic supernatural realm I’ve been cast into and I’m loving every second I’m reading of it! Do not miss this read, I will eagerly be awaiting Book 3 to see who’s journey we face next!
