Graham is ready for a change of pace. He decides to move and open a bakery. Where better could he use the gimmick of a dating app partnered with his bakery than a town named Cupid’s Cove. When Lara finds out about the family bakery’s new competition she does not understand how her father, the mayor, allowed this to happen. When Lara finds herself at Graham’s bakery unwanted sparks fly. Will only one bakery survive? Can they learn to co-exist? Will Lara and Graham act on their feelings?
I thoroughly enjoyed this novella. It was well written, had dynamic characters, and the scene was well set. It really was a quick light hearted read. While this was the first time I had read King, I will definitely be reading her previous books while waiting for the next in this series. My Valentine’s Day Cookie Match was worth the read.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I am not at all disappointed. I look forward to reading more in the future. Lara and Graham are rival bakery owners but his has a twist. This story is based in a small town and it is a town that has romance and all things love abounding day in and day out. This is a quick and well paced story. You will definitely be turning the pages to see what all the love is about in Cupids Cove. KLH

This was a cute romantic quick read. This story takes place in a small town called Cupids Cove. This story had me laughing and enjoying all the sweet moments. There are some great characters in this book. The chemistry between the two main characters was jumping off the page. I have read other books by this author and I am never disappointed. Graham has just left his corporate job to start his new business in this small town. Lara finds out there is competition with her family bakery and she is unhappy about the situation. What will come of their attraction? Can they get past the fact that they are in competition? Did I mention that Lara is the Mayor’s daughter. There was some great banter between characters in this book. This is a good read and it’s my suggestion that you don’t miss out.

I thoroughly enjoyed this fun, lighthearted romantic comedy, which kept me happily turning the pages. Set in the old town of Cupid’s Cove, where “Love is Everything”, the author really made the setting come alive, making me feel immersed in the story. The storyline focuses on the town’s mayors daughter Lara and new comer Graham. Graham is a marketing specialist who’s opening his own bakery alongside his newly developed dating app, which matches couples through their taste buds. However, Lara works for the competition, her mother’s bakery. Can the couple put their differences aside and take the ‘cookie match challenge’, and maybe find true love together. I loved the main characters, Graham and Lara were likeable and relatable, and their chemistry came across strongly in the narrative. I was cheering them on hoping they would get their HEA, this is an enjoyable and engaging heartwarming read.

My Valentine’s Day Cookie Match: Welcome to Cupid’s Cove is a Cupid’s Cove Novella by C.A. King. This is such a fun Valentine’s Day romance- a sweet and sexy contemporary romance with plenty of sparks. This is a short story, which made for a very quick, easy, and enjoyable read. Again, Ms. King has brought a little quirkiness to the table and the result is quite engaging. Two rival bakers. A Dating App/match-making with a difference. Cookies. Simmering chemistry. And a small town setting. Results in some sweet delights. Another winning recipe from Ms. King! Happy reading!

The book had a fun and entertaining feel to it. I really found myself enjoying everything about it. What I loved the most about this book is the fact that it is so different to anything I am used to by this author. It was fresh and interesting and I enjoyed every part of it. This book was such a cute read! This is not the first book I’ve read from this author but it was just as good!
Lara loves her role running the bakery in her small town. What will happen when a new bakery threatens her place in town? Graham needs out of the big city. His bakery is much more than a bakery though. It’s a bakery with a side of love. Who can compete with that? Will Graham and Lara be able to co-exist in this small town romance?
Lara is so sassy and I couldn’t get enough of her banter with Graham. I also really enjoyed seeing Graham leave a job that made him unhappy to follow his dream with the bakery. It was refreshing to see that kind of vulnerability. I definitely enjoyed this book!

This is a lovely romance story. It is really well written and the author does an amazing job of bringing the story and the romance to life. Right down to the name of the place Cupid’s Cove. The characters are well written and really likeable. I love Lara’s character. For a young woman she is very determined and knows what she wants in life. I also love that at the end of every chapter is a recipe for something sweet and tasty really bringing the bakery theme and sweet treats to life.
After a failed relationship Lara swears off men and romance and decides to focus all her attention on the family bakery. Things are going good until her father decides to allow another bakery to be open. Feeling betrayed by her dad Lara has a instant dislike for the new place and owner and as the owners plans become more realised she thinks it is all a publicity stunt. I mean who can find love by eating cookies?
Graham has given up everything in his life for this one chance to make his business successful. He thinks he has a winning combination. A bakery selling mouthwatering cookies and a dating app that allows people to find love. What he doesn’t expect is to find love with the sassy daughter of the Mayor who wants to see him as a enemy.
This story has it all to keep the reader entertained and wanting to know what happens next. Will their cookies be a match? But as with most romances it isn’t straight forward, with town gossip, the local radio station and everyone wanting a bit of this budding romance can Lara and Graham make it work?

Lara is happy running the local bakery in a small town, so when she discovers a new bakery opening but it’s not just a bakery, they will also have a side line on dating, through there website the more you buy the more you are a step closer to your true love. Can Lara survive this new business muscling in on her territory?
Graham has had enough of the big city job and stress, quitting his job as a marketing specialist he decides to set up his own business and where better to set up a dating app and bakery than Cupid Cove, the town itself will promote his new venture, but there is one thing in his way, Lara who already owns a bakery in the town and just happens to be the mayor’s daughter. Can he survive the competition and the back lash?
This story was full romance and just an all-round feel-good story. I loved the character of Lara who was sassy and a strong female character who worked so well with the banter and sparks which flew off the page between these two characters. The add element of the wonderful dialogue had this story jumping off the page, with the vulnerability of Graham leaving his secure job to follow his passion was lovely to read and the way the sparks fly between him and Lara it was a good to read.
I have read many books by this author and this book does not disappoint, can wait for the next book.

This book was super sweet, and easy to read. Cupid’s Cove is a quaint little town that celebrates Valentine’s Day to the fullest extent possible. While this story is a shorter story it still packs a lot of fun, love, drama, and of course fantastic characters. The author has even thrown in a recipes in between the pages and it really just gives this book its unique edge. While Lara isn’t happy about the new bakery that’s opening she can’t ignore the chemistry between her and Graham. But will they be able to come to an agreement on their businesses or will they each want to be the best bakery in town regardless of how they feel about the other? You’ll have to read this amazing story to find out for yourself.

It was cute! It was sweet! I really liked it! Those are just things I feel best describe My Valentine’s Day Cookie Match. A sweet romance with a baking twist. Cookie Match is the next best bakery in town, why you may ask? Well the premise the author introduces is that Graham is tired of “big city corporate America” and is ready to follow his dreams. Of course which is baking, but what if that’s tweaked to coincide with a dating app. Now that’s unique and sure to sell. The app matches people based on their Cookie Match Bakery orders. With it strategically located in Cupid’s Cove, it has success written all over it. Well not if Lara has anything to say about that. Lara, the mayor’s daughter is outraged and a little self righteous, can’t believe her dad would let this guy storm into town and become the family bakery’s competition. Determined to figure out a way to fight the competition, Lara ends up drawn to Cookie Match Bakery and it’s owner Graham. Lara is barely an adult and one can tell based on how the author wrote her character. Graham 10 years her senior has experienced life and this bakery is his ultimate goal. Do sparks fly? Does age become an issue? If you want a cute romance come check it out, because it’s exactly that!

Lara runs the bakery in small town Cupid Cove. The local radio station is announcing new things coming in their small town….when Lara finds out what is coming, she is not happy. There is a new bakery coming to town, that comes with its own love matching app. The more you buy, the better match you will have. Graham is behind this bakery/matching app and is excited to start a new chapter in his own life. He is taking a big chance making these decisions, quitting his dependable job, leaving his home, and losing a girlfriend. Will this bring him the freedom he is looking for? The chemistry between Lara and Graham is great, they are so competitive and both in it to win. I love the radio commentary in between scenes, it really added something extra for me. This was a sweet small town romance with a head strong heroine. My favorite kind of story.

What a cute book! This story is perfect, it makes me feel like I’m living in a small town in a hallmark movie. All the elements in this book were excellent, and nicely thought out, the banter between the radio hosts, Tom and Jenny, and the growing attraction and romance between Lara and Graham. The age difference between Lara and Graham was sweet, I hated the waiting game with them but understood her parents point of view. Their love was a little bit spicy with a whole lot of sweet. I really enjoyed how each chapter opened up with the radio hosts setting the scene and the fact that there are dessert recipes throughout, I can’t wait to try them out. A perfect and quick read, definitely recommend!

This is a cute romance story that I enjoyed. A shorter story that is packed full of fun and love. This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. I have loved reading her books from the start. They are engaging and well written. This story is no different. The characters pulled me in from the beginning and had me coming back for more. This is a fast paced romance story that is hard to put down. The characters are relatable and really packs a punch throughout the story. A small town, second chance romance that has great growth throughout the story. I enjoyed the chemistry between the characters as well as how loveable they were. I really enjoyed this story as it is entertaining and the characters bring life to the story. This is a great Valentine’s Day story that will warm up your day. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This is the first book that I have read that it not only had me hooked by the main characters Graham and Lara but by the lovely recipes throughout the story. As I was reading this book, I was baking along the way. The way the author wrote their stories was wonderful and they are really cute together. Another feel good romance from CA. It is set in a quirky and quaint little town Cupid’s Cove where they love Valentine’s Day. It’s sexy, with a little angst. Throw in a few recipes and get ready for something a little sweet and spicy. It will pull at your heartstrings on places. One thing I love is that this author has an eclectic style of writing so you never know what you will get. It is a light-hearted and fun read. I simply loved this book and the story that it held! I have been a fan of this author for quite some time, but every time they write a book, my heart is full and happy. I loved the quirkiness of the characters in this one, it was a cute read, and had the prefect amount of sweetness.
Personally I loved how the setting of the town was made up. A town that loves Valentines Day and the love it brings. Now that is my kind of town! Graham and Lara were adorable together. Both came from different sides of the fence. Both in a bakery competition, I loved how competitive they were with one another. Those moments when they were not fighting for the win, they really had common ground that was well more than just common, a ground that held something they both really wanted, but were afraid to go after. I loved the town and the happy feelings it gave off to myself as the reader for the joy of Valentines Day. As I said the book had a good humor, and happy feeling as you read. And before I knew it, I had finished the book, I loved the story of Lara and Graham and wanted more! Loved this book!
The book had its own level of sweetness and brought on different levels of joy as you read. it was a quick and fun read. Highly recommend this book, no matter what time of year it is. If you have not have had the joy of checking out this author yet either, I highly recommend you do so as well! Both are must reads!

Lara and Graham are two people thrown together in the goodness of romantic goodness (bakery goodness, that is). He’s opening a bakery/dating app; she’s coming home to heal from a bad breakup and to help her mom with the family bakery (his competition). Between the witty radio station conversations, the yummy recipes included (have to try some of these), and the just plain funny, romantic story, this is one story you just can’t piss. The chemistry is there. Her parents are your typical parents: Mom is chill, Dad is a grump. The town is Cupid’s Cove. The plot is simple and makes for a quick weekend read. Relatable and you’ll love the story. I recommend this book to all.

Welcome to Cupid’s Cove where the town is as old as Cupid himself and where Love is Everything!!! Graham’s a marketing specialist hellbent on opening his own business, and his newly developed dating app is exactly what the baker ordered. Matching couples through their taste buds is sure to bring out romantics by the droves.
Cupid’s Cove makes his plans even sweeter. It’s the perfect backdrop; rent’s cheap, the name oozes being bitten by the love bug, and it’s close enough to travel to. There’s only one downside: the mayor’s daughter. She’s cute, bold, and bright. She also works for the competition—her mother’s bakery.
When their paths cross, will they be able to put their differences aside and take the cookie match challenge? True love might be only a crumb away.

I thought this was such an interesting, cute, intriguing, and engaging story. I always like to see if the first line really draws me into a book. That really sets the tone for me. With this story I was not disappointed. From the first line of the book, I was hooked! It was just so good! The rest of the story did not disappoint either, it kept its tone from the very beginning for sure! Natalina Reis is an author to look for in the future. I also loved that the author added a bit of a personal touch at the beginning with a forward, a guide to dating vocabulary and the Mandarin words and phrases used. That was a really nice touch.

I LOVED this box set of books!!! What can I say, definitely worth the read and HOT HOT HOT!!! I loved how there were 5 different Alpha type guys with each story and they were each so different. I cannot pick a favorite as I loved all 5 main alpha male characters since each were so unique in their own way. I definitely laughed, smiled and swooned over each story. Highly Recommended.

I LOVED THESE BOOKS! I love the characters and each one’s story. They really were fun to read. The characters were really likable. I think of all of them I think Dante was definitely my favorite. Although I loved the goofy shirts mentioned for Ozzy. Initially, I didn’t think I would like Fox as much as I did but he was very well written and likable. Totally recommend this series if you are looking for a relatively short but great upbeat romance. I found myself smiling a lot when reading and couldn’t put them down! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!

Ace has left his life behind in New York and comes back to Philly. There he finds that a certain bank teller has caught his eye. When he’s mistaken for someone else things are blown up. The quote I chose for Ace is: “Wow, thanks for that. Comparing me to a damn isotope. I hope you know that’s going in one of my stand-up routines.”
Ella isn’t sure what Mr. Bennett wants with her. She knows he’s an a**hole, but what happens when she starts falling for him. She goes to her besties sister and finds that she had him mixed up with someone else. The quote I chose for Ella is: “Well, wouldn’t it be hilarious to get back at Ace for what he did to Cara by pulling the same nonsense? Making out with him and then forgetting who he is? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, right?”
The Big O (Alpha Bet Guys #2)
Ozzy has his eyes set on the new girl. Noticing her means dropping glass on the floor. She helps him clean it up and walks away. Getting to know her is needed. The quote I chose for Ozzy is: “Oh, right. I guess it is a work night.”
Hazel is new to town and is looking for something different. Living on a chicken farm wasn’t the best. Not when she was a chicken sexer. The quote I chose for Hazel is: “That chapter of my life is over now. I’m looking to make a fresh start in a chicken-free environment. I’m a vegan.”
Need the D (Alpha Bet Guys #3)
Dante just celebrated his 30th birthday and he sees two of his friends in great relationships. Ella and Hazel are amazing, but now it’s his turn. When at Fox’s birthday bash he eyes a beauty. The quote I chose for Dante is: “Any idea who that is?”
Julia used to work for Fox and is still a close friend. When she arrives at the party she wonders if he’s got any hot single friends. Then she meets and falls in love with Dante. The quote I chose for Julia is: “Yes, well, it’s a lot of work. Doesn’t leave a lot of time for…socializing.”
Hard F (Alpha Bet Guys #4)
Fox has always had a silver spoon in his mouth. Although he didn’t like being driven around and would much rather drive himself. After a hard day at work he stops at a pub. There he meets someone he can see himself falling for. The quote I chose for Fox is: “Would it be terribly gauche of me to order a dry martini with extra olives?”
Jenna is now running her father’s pride and joy. When Fox comes in she dismisses that he’s hot. She doesn’t want to date, but damn if Fox doesn’t make her change her mind. The quote I chose for Jenna is: “He was old enough to be my father! As a matter of fact, he reminded me of my father!”
Ride the C (Alpha Bet Guys #5)
Cruz is getting older and is losing his touch in the model world. When a new opportunity comes along he can’t pass it up. He was going to meet an idol of his. The quote I chose for Cruz is: “Wow…. Well, if you can get me an interview, I’d be forever grateful.”
Mia is once upon a time a supermodel. Now she writes an advice column in Queen B. She needs a male’s advice on things like dating and intercourse. The quote I chose for Mia is: “Can you adjust the lighting over the desk? Or do you think the natural lighting over there by the window is more flattering?”

I’ve never read anything by Miss Alexander before and The Alpha Bet Guys Boxed Set was an interesting choice for me. 5 stories each one about 100 pages long and each one introduces a new Alpha male and a girl whose love makes him realize love with always win in the end. Each story was a page turner and left this reader anxiously anticipating the next story. Miss Alexander develops her characters very well making it darn near impossible for you to not picture them as real people inside your head. But if you are looking for something fun and exciting to read then I would highly recommend The Alpha Bet Guys Boxed Set.

I loved this box set of five steamy romantic comedy novellas, each one based on a different couple involving an alpha guy and a curvy women. The guys are all college friends who have been reunited in Philadelphia. Book one, ‘A-Hole’ is Ace and Ella’s story which brings two complete opposites together via a bet and some comedy. ‘The Big O’, is chemists Ozzy and Hazel’s Story and Ozzy is determined to give Hazel something she’s never had, a big O! Book three is Dante and Julia’s story, ‘Need the D’, which has a reverse age gap and baby storyline. Julia has a to do list featuring dick, donor, and daddy but can she get Dante on board. ‘Hard F’ is Fox and Jenna’s billionaire and opposites attract story. Two ageing models take on a media giant together in a reverse age gap and body positive storyline featuring Cruz and Mia, in novella five, ‘Ride the C’. These novellas took me on an emotional rollercoaster and each one was a full standalone story in itself. Each story had great characters, plenty of drama and romance, plus some steamy scenes and laugh out loud moments. I ‘binge read’ the whole boxed set and could not put each book down as I cheered on each couple hoping they would each get their happy ever after.
