It was cute! It was sweet! I really liked it! Those are just things I feel best describe My Valentine’s Day Cookie Match. A sweet romance with a baking twist.
Cookie Match is the next best bakery in town, why you may ask? Well the premise the author introduces is that Graham is tired of “big city corporate America” and is ready to follow his dreams. Of course which is baking, but what if that’s tweaked to coincide with a dating app. Now that’s unique and sure to sell. The app matches people based on their Cookie Match Bakery orders. With it strategically located in Cupid’s Cove, it has success written all over it.
Well not if Lara has anything to say about that. Lara, the mayor’s daughter is outraged and a little self righteous, can’t believe her dad would let this guy storm into town and become the family bakery’s competition. Determined to figure out a way to fight the competition, Lara ends up drawn to Cookie Match Bakery and it’s owner Graham. Lara is barely an adult and one can tell based on how the author wrote her character. Graham 10 years her senior has experienced life and this bakery is his ultimate goal.
