I absolutely love romantic comedies and this one is no different. An enemies-to-lovers romance full of funny pranks and hot steamy make out sessions. Cash and Hollis will entertain you from cover to cover. The way their “relationship” begins and progresses is so fun to watch and discover. I hope you pick this up. It is absolutely awesome and you will not be sorry.

If you’re looking for a book that will make you laugh and sigh then I would suggest you read this book.
Cash and Hollis start off in a hate filled but funny prank war, but things change rapidly after a misunderstanding leads to them spending time together.
The way their friendship started to bloom after they started to know one another and realize where those intense feelings were heading things got pretty hot.
There are little gems like Sausage Fest, the stuffed dog and the surprise package being delivered that made me laugh.
Cash’s brothers, sister and Mom just add that extra something for me. Ms. Stewart got the family dynamic perfect. Oh and how can I forget to mention Larry!
I look forward to keeping up with this family and see how they grow and change. My money is on Miller’s story being epic.

I had not read the first book in the series, but I will be remedying this immediately as book two was amazing. The author did a great job of sharing details from the first book, but not so much that I feel the story was spoiled. Nadine was an amazing heroine and her chemistry with Wicks was electric and the steamy factor was off the charts. He was such an amazing lead male who was sweet and sexy. He was such a supportive and caring guy which threw me, because I was expecting such a cocky guy, but he was just such a sweetheart. Nadine had such a rough go with her now ex and seeing her get such a fabulous guy, made it such an amazing story. I loved the title of the book, it cracked me up. I can’t wait to read the other books in the series and by the author.
Ale’s Fair in Love and War: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romance is the first book in Love on Tap series. I always enjoy books by this author, and I was glad to grab a new book by her. This is a fun enemies-to-lovers romance. Cash owns a local brewery with his brother, and his arch-enemy Hollis owns the dog grooming business next door. The two have developed a mutual dislike of one another. The snark between them and the pranks they pull are great. You can feel the sparks growing between them. When they join forces to save Cash’s business, they are a power to be reckoned with. I enjoyed the characters and the back-and-forth between them. This is an entertaining romantic read with a HEA. I look forward to grabbing the next book in this series. With this author, I’m always guaranteed a good book.

This is the second book in the Vengeful Vixens series. It definitely stands alone, as this is my first book I’ve read in this book. This is an amazingly fun romantic comedy with a revenge plot. Nadine is a strong business minded main character whos boyfriend and business partner definitely betrayed both her and the business by falling for some get rich quick schemes. She does what every good female would do go for revenge and find someone who is so good between the sheets. However when she finds Wick she finds so much more than she bargained for – in a good way. This is such a fun good book!
I have read a few books from this author and I was not disappointed. I really enjoy the steamy vibes that flow through the book. The author is able to create down to earth characters that really to draw the reader in and keep your glued to your seat. I really liked the revenge setting of the book and how it sort of backfired and the main character became smitten with the guy. I really couldn’t put the book down and I read it in one sitting as I get totally engrossed in the book. I really cannot wait to read more from this author and this series.
Such a great story, I loved that it was lighthearted and fun read. Cash and Hollis’s pranks are hilarious, I felt an instant chemistry between them. I love characters that try to be their own person. For instance, Hollis has a rich stepdad who treats her like his own so she could easily live off daddy’s money but she’s working hard to make it on her own without their financial help. I do wish we could have had more interactions with other characters, especially carter. And maybe his mom but only because she’s a fun character and honestly, I’d probably be happy with a short story all about her being crazy, I loved the energy she brought to the book. She had me questioning the timeline when she had to return a Netflix DVD, I didn’t know you could still rent them. I’m really glad this book had such a happy ending. Sure, Hollis kept a secret, but it wasn’t that big of a deal and she was helping Cash out anyway. I think readers who enjoy humorous romances with a few spicy scenes mixed in will really enjoy this book.

Your Trainer Says Hi! is the second book in the Vengeful Vixens series by Indie Sparks. Ms. Sparks is a new-to-me author, so I really didn’t know what to expect from one of her stories. But, I love a fun read and this looked like it could deliver all that and more. It proved to be a very entertaining RomCom with so much to keep me entertain from beginning to end. This is a humorous contemporary romance with a revenge plot, finding love unexpectedly, opposites attract, chemistry, spice, dirty talk, self-doubts/self-esteem issues, banter, antics, friendship, ex issues, alpha-male type MC, and sizzling encounters. The book has got some serious themes running through the storyline that may prove to be a trigger for some, such as: mental health issues, manipulation, body image concerns, and self-esteem issues. When Nade is betrayed and her life is turned upside down, she decides the best course of action is one of REVENGE. And so the fun begins…. I need to go back and read Book #1 now, as we get to meet Oakley who is Nadine’s BFF and apparently Oakley is the mc in “Your Boss Says Hi!- Book #1- so I just have to read what happened there. These two crack me up, and their friendship and antics are epic! I loved that even though this story focuses on Nadine and Wick, we get to meet/catch up with the mc’s from book one, too. But I digress-…. OMG- Heath, what a douchecanoe!! Like really!!! I sooo wanted to throttle him for Nadine lol. Wick on the other hand- one word…. SWOON! I love when I get to read a book that once I’m done my soul does a happy dance for a while. This book was everything I didn’t even know I was looking for. This author in my opinion brought everything needed for an amazing story. The storyline was fast paced, fun and I laughed so much. The characters are the kind that you want them as real life every day friends. The banter between them will keep you entertained for hours. I can’t wait for more in this series. Your Trainer Says Hi! The second book in the Vengeful Vixens series is my type of humour. I love a good refreshing Rom Com and Indie is a new author to me but she does it in spades. How have I not stumbled across this author before? Somehow, I missed the first book, and I must go back and read it now. I laughed out loud with the witty and funny banter. This is one of my favourite reads of the year so far. I wish the story was longer because it is an easy read and I had so much fun. Betrayal with a capital B. Revenge is sweet for Nadine especially when she gets down and dirty with Wick. Erotic spicy scenes. Ooh la la! That man knows his way around a woman. Sexy and steamy encounters, lots of angst, amazing characters, fun, and definitely hot and flirty. I love that these Vixens are sassy, relatable, and raw and know what they want even if they are a mess at times. I can’t wait for the next book.
I read this book in two days, hard with 3 kids but enjoyed reading it so much that I could not put it down. It’s a hate to love romance and the first one in the series. Cash and Hollis are next door rivals and play pranks on each other. It’s very entertaining to see how they interact and how the story unfolds. I can’t wait for the next book. My new favorite series.

Saucy and sexy, this story of revenge is a winner. Heath stole Nadine’s money. To get even, she sleeps with his trainer. A quick read that will entertain you and make you laugh, the antics to get back at Heath will have you laughing. One scene involves a muffin pan and I about spit my coffee all over my Kindle when I read it. The characters are a hoot. I love the writing. It’s hilarious and I swear, the author has been in my head reading my revenge plots. It’s so fun to come up with them. Even better to read revenge fiction, I loved this story. If you are looking a spicy, romantic, quick read, this would be it. Check it out.

Sure, in retrospect, going into business with some guy I’d only been dating for six months sounds impulsive.
Okay, it was impulsive, but it was a good opportunity, and Heath put in as much money as I did. We were equal partners. Until he made an unauthorized withdrawal.
It’s not like he absconded to another country with the money. No, he sunk every dime into a foolproof investment. In my defense, I was vulnerable when we met, and Heath was only supposed to be my rebound guy. I never dreamed I’d have to financially rebound from him.
So now, while he’s busy hawking snake oil, trying to grow his downline, I’m out here just trying to maintain my sanity, stay on top of my game for my sales job, and keep our juice bar afloat.
But there’s always time for vengeance. Heath stole my money; I’ll take his beloved personal trainer. It’s a start.
Wick puts my body through the wringer, in the gym and out, but he’s so not my type. His storm-cloud eyes might see right through me, and his filthy mouth definitely takes my mind off my troubles for a while, but there is not a more arrogant man in the world. Like I said, so not my type. So, why do I keep seeing him?
A broke bitch can still be a bad bitch. And the more time I spend with Wick, the badder I want to be.
Indie Sparks writes heroines with hutzpah and heroes with dirty mouths and the skills to walk the talk. She gives them all the happy endings they deserve, some for now, some forever. Spicy rom-coms are her favorite flavor in fiction. In real life, she favors the bold, wonderful tastes that some silly urban legend calls bitter and insists makes her more prone to becoming a serial unaliver. She wouldn’t hurt anyone, but she would gladly take everyone’s black coffee, red wine, and extra-dark chocolate. Her purse holds more lipsticks than money, and the only thing bulging more than her bookshelves is the men in her books.
This book had me laughing from the get go at the antics of Cash and Hollis. What starts as a prank war between the two side by side businesses turns a bit more serious when Cash’s brother Miller finds himself in the wrath of Hollis’ sister and father. Add to that a situation that is jeopardizing the business Cash decides to do whatever it takes to keep his business afloat even if it means help from his snarky neighbor. Meanwhile Hollis is fighting a guilty conscience in that she may have had a hand in the predicament of Cash’s business and offers help even if it is to alleviate her sense of guilt. Can these two ever find level footing or is the attraction to much to withstand and will drag them both under?
This is a hilarious, well written book that will go onto my list of books to be read often. I really enjoyed the snarky banter, the increasing tension, and the prank war that these two find themselves in. If you enjoy romantic comedies then definitely give this book a try it is well worth the read and I truly cannot recommend it enough.

Hollis is the worst neighbour according to Cash but ask anyone else you’ll be told she’s loving , kind , nurturing and caring and the townsfolk love her and Hollis isn’t blind he can see she’s easy on the eye but the rest of him will catch up soon enough 😉
Now if you were to ask Hollis what she thinks of Cash she’ll tell you he’s an arrogant , brooding and HOT know it all 😉
Cash and Hollis were so much fun ! The teasing and banter between them had me in stitches but when the going gets tough , the tough get going and Hollis is all in to support Cash .
Both have loving friends and family which just adds to the “vibe” and the side characters were just as entertaining 😉

Enemies to lovers Rom Com This was an hilarious read. I loved the dynamic between Hollis and Cash. The book launches straight into the story and the reader is immediately swept up into their battle. The banter, chemistry and steam is well written and it is told in dual POV which makes for a better connection with the characters. This is book #1 in Love on Tap series about the Brooks family but there is a novella with Denny and Rosie’s story which is worth checking out. Can’t wait for Carter’s book, Smooth Hoperator. Highly recommend.

Hollis and Cash are neighbors and not good to each other AT ALL! In fact, from their very first meeting, they are at odds with one another. The only thing they have in common is that they are business owners trying to make their businesses a success. As their arguments and misunderstandings continued, they decided to begin pulling pranks on each other, and some are really bad yet oh-so-funny! When Cash thinks Hollis has gone too far, that’s actually when these two give into their hidden desire for one another. That’s when the story gets REALLY GOOD!!!
I loved both Cash and Hollis, and the addition of their families made the book even better. The characters were well-fleshed out and multi-dimensional. Oh my, the banter between these two was priceless! Their chemistry literally burned up the pages of this book.
Sylvie Stewart is a new writer to me, and I’m so glad to have discovered her. Her writing is fantastic. I love the way she sets her readers up for the next book in the series. If it is as good as this one, it’s sure to be a winner!

This book had me laughing nearly the entire time. Between the pranks and banter, I had a smile on my face for most of the time I spent reading this one! It is great!!! Hollis and Cash are the ultimate couple. The supporting characters are worth getting to know. I luv Cash’s mom, am frustrated with Hadley, scratching my head with Miller, wondering what’s up with Carter, and needing to know more about Lynn.
Hollis walked away from a swanky corporate job to follow her passion to open her own business. She planned everything about her business from the name, the colors, the location, to the marketing and growth. She planned everything. Everything but her neighbor. He is rude, he is crude, he is cold, he is gorgeous, he is sooooo sexy. He is Cash. What Hollis thought was a friendly request to leave her room in their shared dumpster turned bad and now is practically an all out prank war between her and Cash.
Cash couldn’t believe his luck when Hollis moved her business next door to his. That momentary elation quickly changed. He didn’t mean to snap at her, she just caught him at a bad time. Now, Cash can show no mercy when it comes to the prank war. When Cash’s brother is accused of breaking Hollis’ sister’s heart, the stakes are raised. Cash believes that Hollis is responsible for an anonymous tip to the Health Inspector. Hollis thinks that her family is responsible for the Health Inspector and the expensive upgrades/changes he is demanding. Hollis and Cash call a truce for a few weeks to help save his business.
This book is fabulous. It was great. The misunderstandings. The pranks. The banter. The family. The friends. The beer names. It is just wonderful. I loved this cute and sometimes outrageous story about Chase and Hollis. The characters are well written, quirky, and fun. These business neighbors come up with some pretty good pranks on one another until one assumed prank ends up threatening the not-so-friendly bantering nature of their relationship and turning it into something more serious. As they try to work together on a common goal, things get a bit steamy; with all that heat between them as frenemies, it’s easy to see that translate into some bedroom tension. The question is whether or not the can both maintain their take on the world themselves attitude while simultaneously learning to trust and depend on each other. Such a fun read! I’m looking forward to reading some of the other books in this series.

Cash and Hollis are neighboring business owners who communicate via pranks and sarcasm. Cash’s misconception of Hollis seems to be the reason for this strife but the reason for their initial tension was never clear so I’m still left wondering why they hated each other to begin with. I really wanted more reason for this than it being a man’s misconception on a strong, independent female. This concept never sits well with me and it led me to not enjoy Cash’s character for the majority of this book. Hollis was an incredible character with love, courage, grace and a down to earth nature that doesn’t fit into her family’s visions for her future. While Cash annoyed me, the storyline did evolve nicely and kept me engaged. Good read with a nice cast of supporting characters.

Cash and Hollis own businesses next to each other…and have been trading pranks back and forth pretty much since Hollis opened up her pet grooming shop. They have all been harmless…until the latest one is going to cost Cash thousands of dollars. Feeling guilty, Hollis does whatever she can to help. However, working together causes their hate toward each other to turn into lust and, boy, do these to have chemistry that is off the charts. But, when the truth comes out about what is really going on, can these two trust each other? Or did a line get crossed that they can never come back from?
I enjoyed the banter between these two. While the pranks described are childish and humorous, I couldn’t believe that Hollis would take it that far. Watching her do whatever she could to help out, and ease her own guilt…and watching Cash take on the responsibility on his shoulders so others wouldn’t suffer…reminds me of what being the oldest child is like (even if Cash isn’t technically the oldest). It’s something ingrained in our brains and it is hard to turn off. These two worked through it in a way that felt so real! Overall, a good book that I enjoyed reading.

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. I never hesitate to pick up one of her books. They are full of laughs and romance. I enjoy how she brings her stories to life with her creative writing skills. This book is no different. The characters pulled me into their world from the start. They are connectable and added so much to the story. They made me laugh at times and crazy at others. They have great chemistry and growth throughout the story. This is a story where a business needs to be saved but these characters may find that the business is not the only thing that is worth something. I really enjoyed these characters and how they made the story easy to read. This is a story you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I really enjoyed this book and found myself disappointed when I couldn’t find the time to read it. This story was cute, fun and even had a small plot twist in it. Cash and Hollis were adorable from start to finish. Their banter was fun to follow and made me gasp and laugh out loud. The family dynamic and the love for animals also had me hooked from the start. This was a good, fast, lighthearted easy read. This was the first book that I read from this author, and I found myself wanting to know more about the other characters, which I was THRILLED to find out that I can because she wrote stories on some of them.

Set in the mountains of North Carolina, two small town business owners have a rivalry going on. Cash’s brewery is just getting its legs when Hollis moves in next door. Her dog grooming business is at odds with the brewery for a multitude of reasons. When the Hollis and Cash start pranking each other, things go a little too far. Opinion The setting of this book is right up the road from me. Stewart does a great job emanating what a town in the mountains of NC would be like. I personally enjoyed the scenes where the two main characters were fighting, not only each other but their own attraction to the other one. There were many places where I found myself laughing out loud at what happened. Overall, I think that the best part of the book was the way the characters were described and the actions they took. I could imagine meeting people like the characters walking around town with a little vendetta on their mind against the other one. I look forward to more books in this series.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything about this story! I don’t even know where to start to tell you all the amazing things about this book! The story is wonderfully done. It is filled with cuteness and adorable comments, gestures as well as laugh out loud moments. The characters are incredible. Each one is built to make the reader fall in love with them..no matter which one they are. I fell for the whole family and could hardly take my eyes from the pages. It has antics between the two main characters which I enjoyed but one of my favorite things is the lyrics when they sing. I just shook my head at them and chuckled to myself.
Ms Sylvie has knocked this one out of the park in my opinion. I will be doing some backlog reading on a few couples that show up in here while I await the next in the series.
Kudos to another families adventures that has become a new favorite for me.

This is the first book in the Love On Tap series and I really enjoyed it. This is an enemies to lovers story and it is full of laughter as our 2 main characters Cash and Hollis battle against each other. The author does an amazing job with the characters and I love how sassy Hollis is. She is one determined lady who won’t back down from a fight. You can feel the chemistry and attraction between them right from the start even though reading the words you would think they hated this sight of each other but the chemistry is there and it gets more intense as they push each others buttons. All to the mix a crazy family and this is a story that will have you hooked and laughing all the way. The main question is how long will it take them to realise that all this banter and pushing of the buttons is just hiding their true feelings? And what happens if they stopped the fighting and gave into them?
