Bargaining (Hero High Book 3) by Mina Chara was a fun comic adventure read! It’s not a comic book but the whole time I have been reading it is what I picture. This is the third book in the series and things are starting to get dark and definitely more interesting. I love the plot and story telling. I am looking forward to the next book!

Finding Leda, the Science of Happiness (The Italian Saga #5)Finding Leda, the Science of Happiness by Gaia B. Amman
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

First I must say this novel has the most adorable and vibrant cover that drew me in regardless of the fact that I knew the Italian Saga from Gaia B Amman existed and had wanted to read it. I had high hopes having read the other novels in the series that this book would make me think and feel things that I didn’t know I needed. Unfortunately for me this book fell short of the other ones a tad and I struggled to find that connection with the main character that I had hoped to find. It did have an underlying message and was a fairly well constructed idea of a coming of age story but the layout of this read and the way the character seemed to jump and bounce from issue to issue without really actually solving the one before it was a touch frustrating for me. I did enjoy the world building and felt as if I was abroad at times so that piece remained strong. I will be back for more and look forward to seeing what that may be from Gaia B Amman next!

This is a book with quite a different flip on the super hero stories. Bargaining (Hero High Book 3) by Mina Chara by Mina Chara was an interesting read. Anyone who is into super heroes will enjoy this story. Some good clean romance that I can see leading to more stories about Hero High as this little romance seems an impossibility. David’s confession to Friday that he was gay seems an odd hanging thread unless it too will launch another story. Lots of possibilities for future reads in this little book.

Finding Leda; the Science of Happiness (Italian College Novel 1, The Italian Saga) by Gaia B Amman is a wonderfully written story that once I started reading I had a hard time putting it down. I’ve read several other books by this Author and I will say if you haven’t read the others I highly recommend you doing so. Leda has graduated from high school and is now off to College. She’s ready to find what makes her happy . She finds herself attracted but is he the one? There’s parts of this book I’m laughing and shaking my head at Leda but then there are moments where I find myself a bit emotional about everything she’s been through on her journey through life. Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. Will she find what she’s looking for? I can’t recommend this Author or this series enough a d can’t wait to read more .

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Finding Leda, the Science of Happiness (The Italian Saga #5) by Gaia B. Amman was a good 4 star read.

Leda is going to school in Italy. She has struggled with several self image issues and is recovering from an eating disorder. Having also suffered a broken heart she is trying to move forward from that as well. All of this has turned her into a very strong young woman.

Leda is so busy that she wasn’t looking to connect with anyone but when she meets him there is an instant connection which gets her wondering about her future.

Could he be the one? Does she have room for a relationship?

Overall this was a good read. We get to see Leda grow through the story. We get love, humor, self growth and so much more. All of the characters added a good element to the story. I was pulled in by the author’s writing, I really liked the setting. I look forward to reading more from this author and series. 1-click and get started today.

Bargaining (Hero High, #3)Bargaining by Mina Chara
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Bargaining is book 3 in the Hero High series by Mina Chara. I am really enjoying this series, but I recommend just buying the series as a whole. They should all be read together, as each book stops in a cliff hanger,in the middle of the story. I don’t feel like each book is its own story. However, this was the best of the 3. There is so much going on in this book! So many shocks and surprises, action packed. Friday Fitzsimmons is a student at Hero High. A school for superheros (think XMen) however, the school also has a reality tv show. The students are constantly being filmed, dressed up for photo shoots, whisked off for PR events, on top of being teenagers, struggling through high school. To top it off, they are paired with a superhero mentor, and are already taking part is rescues. Friday wanted to stay in the background, but since day 1 has been up front and center. She feels like everything is going wrong. She keeps fighting with her best friend and handler Jake. Dr Dangerous, a superhero who is supposed to be dead, seems to have resurfaced (or a copycat) and has a fixation on her. And there is a man in flames that keeps showing up and causing trouble. There are so many shockers in this story, I don’t want to give anything away. I highly recommend and cannot wait to see what happens next.

This book in the Hero High series was good. I have enjoyed the story up to this point and Bargaining did not disappoint me as it helped me continue in the enjoyment of the series. Mina Chara has created a dynamic universe and I enjoyed my immersion in her world. I loved watching Friday become the heroine she was meant to be. I enjoy reading Mina Chara and will look for more from her in the future.

Finding Leda, the Science of Happiness (The Italian Saga #5)Finding Leda, the Science of Happiness by Gaia B. Amman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Finding Leda by Gaia B. Amman a four-star read that you will find easy to read. This is number five in the Italian Saga and number one in the Italian Teen series, but I will be honest I haven’t read them in any real order and I have enjoyed it like that as its like dipping in and out of someone’s life at different times, so its great when I feel like reliving my younger self I can dip in here and see it through someone else’s eyes and almost see where I went wrong and right. In some ways these novel feel like growing up with a friend, and reading them is like chatting about old times, and like some friends they tell a good story at the start and the end but in the middle they get a little wanderlust and drift a bit but manage to pull it back in to get it all back again.

Bargaining (Hero High, #3)Bargaining by Mina Chara
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Bargaining is the third book in the Hero High series by Mina Chara. This story is about Friday Fitzsimmons and her struggles. There seems to be something wrong with her long time best friend Jake. She isn’t sure Dr. Dangerous, the villain, is who he is supposed to be. Being a part of the gold team has her starting to question things. Is she doing the right thing? Are all the cameras, the glitz and the glam, and the “villains” really what being a hero is all about? Friday is determined not to fail, especially because Captain Fantastic seems to think she can do the right thing. I was able to read this story in a matter of hours but still thoroughly enjoyed it.

Finding Leda: The Science of Happiness by Gaia B Amman is the first book in the Italian College series, which forms part of the Italian Saga. This all does need to be read in order as is is a continuation of the story and characters you get to know.
This book so easily takes you back into the story and the interesting works the author is writing about. This whole series has been fun and exciting, which such engaging characters. Each time I see a new book in the series I know I just have to read it!
It is so easy to picture with this book bring there yourself and seeing all the same things as the characters. The development Leda undergoes from page 1 through to the end is well crafted and so relatable. This is another fantastic book in the series and I am looking forward to whatever is next.

Bargaining is the third book in the Hero High series by Mina Chara. This book really ties up this series. I’m so glad I chose to read this series. I found the character development and world building to be detailed and easily relatable. This series needs to be read in order or you will miss too much back stories. I found this book to be my favorite of all three. Friday Fitzsimmons Story continues, and it is full of action and adventure as she tries to figure out the good vs. evil in her life. This YA series is addicting and it has some twists and turns that I wasn’t expecting. I highly recommend this book, series, and author.

I enjoyed the new read by Gaia B Amman, having followed Leda through her formative years it was nice to see her moving on in life and what she did. As with previous books Leda’s life isn’t always straight forward and she had a few obstacles in her life to tackle. Again as with the other books by this author the Italian setting for the story was great, I was immersed in the culture that I have begun to love in the other books. The author clearly has taken her time with Leda’s character development and that shines through in the books. A great read and as always I look forward to more from Ms Amman in the future.

Bargaining by Mina Chara a flaming five-star read. This is number three in the Hero High series and they are best read in order, and they are all so quickly read you can read them all quickly, easily and enjoyably. Friday Fitzsimmons brings this story to life for me, I simply adore the character, there is something about them that juts keeps you on our toes, watching Friday deal with anxiety will help some deal with it, sowing them that they aren’t alone and how to recognise it. This is shaping to a very interesting and complex series that will surprise many.

Finding Leda, the Science of Happiness (The Italian Saga #5)Finding Leda, the Science of Happiness by Gaia B. Amman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Finding Leda, the Science of Happiness is the fifth book in The Italian Saga by Gaia B. Amman. It is a Young Adult/New Adult story- full of all the highs and lows of Leda’s journey.
We’ve followed Leda through the previous books/stories, and have been there every step of the way as she traverses transitioning from childhood and into a young adult, graduating high school, and now following her through college. Leda throws herself into her studies, discovering much about herself and what she wants out of life along the way.
Even though this story could be read as a standalone- I highly recommend reading the previous books as knowing what happens there will elevate your enjoyment of this story.
This book is full of drama, emotions, college life, Leda’s ‘rules’ to live by, science references, love, humour, pop-culture, self discovery, life lessons, and much more. As with the other books in the series- this is a fictionalized memoir of the author’s younger years/life- set against the backdrop of Italy in the 1990’s/2000’s.
On to the next instalment…

Thank you, Ms. Amman!

In this book everything comes to head and we see who is who and which side they are on. This is a Young Adult fantasy story. This book should be read after Denial and Anger. Bargaining picks up where Anger left off. You are in the future built around the fantasy world. By reading the in order, you will become familiar with all of the characters. You will also find growth, as Friday tries to figure out what she really wants. Remembering Friday is also still being watched and is trying to lay low.

Mina Chara has continued to keep the YA’s entertained with this the third book in her series. It is a must read, loaded with fantasy and adventure. Included are the superheroes, all while keeping them reading. Big props to Mina Chara for encouraging teens to read. Adults would also enjoy this short story as well.

Bargaining by Mina Chara is the third book in the Hero High series. Friday’s story continues in another fast paced story. Her life is changing rapidly, and she is trying to figure out who is actually on her side. She finds out people have ulterior motives, and she has to figure out what she wants to fight for. Will she make the right decisions?
I have enjoyed these books. They are quick, action packed reads about a young lady who just wants to find her place in the world. Be it she has super powers, but she is still relatable. I really enjoy the characters and the story line. I look forward to reading more in the future from this author.

Bargaining (Hero High Book 3) by Mina Chara is a short story that once you start reading you won’t be able to stop till the end. I can’t recommend this series enough and if you haven’t already read the first two books you definitely need to. Really they should be read in order then you will have a better understanding of what is going on as each follows the last one. So since joining the gold team the producers of the show seem to like her more but she knows she’s still being watched. Friday feels like the weight of the world is on her shoulders, things with Jonathan are rocky and she’s a bit overwhelmed with it all. She doesn’t feel as though she’s being true to herself and that makes her feel like a sell out. Find out what happens next in this must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Once again we taken on a journey Friday and a whole great cast of characters. Each one of these has gotten even better and this one definitely stuck to that. I love how unique and original this set is. Each character brings something different to the storyline and I enjoy them each for different reasons. It’s on the smaller side but that doesn’t hinder the punch it has. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Four big stars and highly recommended!

I enjoyed this book. It is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites so far. One of the things I enjoy about this author and her books is how they are placed in Italy. This one is no different. Leda is a young adult that has been through alot and is now ready to start a new part of life. She is determined to find what makes her happy. Will she find that she needs romance in her life? Will she find herself in the process. I loved watching her grow throughout this story. She is a great character I felt some emotion with because she does go through so much but truely is trying to find what makes her happy. I highly recommend reading this book and find out what happens with Leda.

This is a college novel- where before she was a small girl growing into teenage years, now we’re finally getting an older Leda. The funny part about this is when she emails in this book- it has the date, and I REMEMBER THOSE YEARS! She’s a little older than me in reality, and being an adult while reading her years as a child, I just didn’t think she was. I think this was my favorite book of hers so far. She is smart and is finally figuring out what she needs to do to make herself happy. I’m addicted to Leda and I am not ashamed about it. I can’t wait to read the next one!

So far this has been my favorite book in the series. We see a lot of action, answers to questions and shock…yes I was shocked. Things are turned upside down and I was not prepared but then I was disappointed in a certain character. But I do love watching Friday use her powers and always wondering what she is going to do next.

Anyway this is fun and like I said full of action. It kept my interest and made me want to know what was going to happen next. I was really able to stick with the characters and hope for their success. Friday’s story was a treat to read.

5 out of 5 stars

I loved reading the story Finding Leda: The Science of Happiness (Italian College novel 1, The Italian Saga) by Gaia B. Amman. I have read several of the books in this series and have found them to be entertaining and addictive to read. I love the character of Leda and always enjoy reading about her life and experiences. I find that my emotions went up and down along with hers in this story. Leda is going to college and between that, wanting to join a band, and a volleyball team, she doesn’t seem to have time for romance. Then chemistry and attraction starts and Leda wonders if he is the one? Read this book to find out the full story. Leda’s world includes her education, friends, and her search for happiness. I also enjoy reading about the additional characters that interact with Leda. This is a story that has moments that made me laugh and others that had me wondering what Leda would do next. This is another wonderful story to read in an amazing series. I highly recommend reading it.

Bargaining (Hero High Book 3) by Mina Chara – Review by Lianne Probert

Bargaining (Hero High, #3)Bargaining by Mina Chara
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Bargaining is the third in the series of Mina Charas Hero High Series.
The book starts with a very brief intro and a flashback to the end of the second book, but I really would recommend starting from book one if you haven’t already, for me it’s not the type of series you can start reading at any point.
Book three continues to follow Friday Fitzsimmons. Friday is still battling enemies, but she also has internal struggles to battle. She knows what makes a good superhero, so why doesn’t she feel like one? I love the way you see Fridays character develop and grow throughout the series of books, she is strong yet insecure and vulnerable, which makes her very easy to relate to, she isn’t your run of the mill main character, which I really enjoy.
I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but if you’ve loved the books so far then this is a must read. It’s a short story but as usual it’s action packed, with a few surprises along the way!

Bargaining by Mina Chara is book 3 in the series and is a 4 star read.
This book finds Friday fighting against everyone, not sure who is on the side of good or bad, her friendship with Jake is suffering and she’s getting closer to Ashley, but everyone has secrets, can Friday save the day without getting hurt?
This was a quick read and I enjoyed catching up with Friday and seeing how her superhero power would stand up against everyone else’s. The ending fell a little flat for me and I’m hoping there’s more to come.
