Priscida Finds Greatness by Constance Mays – Review by Dahnielle Hibbert
Priscida Finds Greatness: In Herself and in Others by Constance Mays
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A very cute children’s book that teaches children how to find and feel greatness in their lives. Priscida is an alley cat who is picked up by animal control and taken to the shelter where she is eventually given her name and adopted out. Through all her antics she comes to realize true greatness is in loving good people and being loved by them in return. What I enjoyed about this story was how Priscida looks for greatness in different ways and eventually comes to see the greatness in her own family. One thing I would have liked to see was more illustrations as I know when my kids were little they were drawn more to books that had bright and colorful drawings. Over all a good story to read to your children (age 2-6) or for a teacher to read to their class.
