Nobody Knows: A British Rock Band Romance (Razes Hell Book 1) by Kyra Lennon. I absolutely loved this book and couldn’t put it down I found myself sneaking around to read it any and every chance I got. The characters are complex and relatable, they easily pulled me into their world and I’ll be honest I didn’t want to leave but all good things do end eventually. I definitely won’t forget these characters though and I definitely be adding this read to me reread list. This author knows how to tell a story that had me hooked from start to finish. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I’m definitely looking forward to more from this author. I’m easily giving this book five stars and highly recommend it. I promise you won’t regret one clicking this amazing book.

This is the first book that I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. This book is a coming of age book of a young man getting ready to go to college. I absolutely love paranormal books but this author exceeded all my expectations. I was hooked on this story in the first chapter. I could not put it down until I finished the whole book. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.

This story takes place in the 80s which is when I was born. Ben O’Rourke has been working his butt off to get into the school of his dreams. He is so excited that he is going to be going to Yale which is one of the best. Ben goes to a party that changes his life. He finds out that his friends were never really friends at all. Ben meets a girl that he can’t stop thinking about, Puppy. He sees that she is not the same like most girls but he doesn’t care. Ben is head over heels with this girl but when he finds out her little secret will Ben believe in her or will he run?

At All: Adams Brothers: Book 3 by Mindy McKinley. These books just keep getting better and better and I can’t get enough. This one may just be my top pick but hey don’t tell the others ok. Because they are really great also , so make sure you read each one. But this one just spoke to me in a different way and I was so sad when I reached the end. I honestly wanted this book to go on forever and I’d have been there for it. The characters are complex and relatable, they pulled me into their world and I was happy to go along for the ride they took me on. The storyline is well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. This author definitely knows how to keep me coming back for more and I’m excited to see where we go next. Five stars all the way and highly recommended

Another great read by Dawson. Hartwood really sounds like a magical place. I highly recommend this for romance lovers.

Rose is a flower shop owner in Hartwood. She is missing a certain someone. When her landlord tells her that he has a guest coming. The said guest arrives and it throws Rose off her game. The quote I chose for Rose is: “I survived losing you once, and I think I can do it again. But if you were ever my friend, if you ever cared for me, you will do this for me now. Make peace with Mae. Apologize to her. Find a way in your cold dead Grinch heart to let her in. And then leave me the hell alone.”

Liam is coming back home after losing a patient. He needs the vacation and seeing old friends. The one person he was hoping to avoid is the first person he sees. The quote I chose for Liam is: “Oh? That’s all you have to say? Oh?”

This isn’t the first read by Skye, but for the new year it’s a great way to start. Skye knows how to keeps her readers around.

Perdue is heading to Vegas for a party. Little does she know that she’ll run into an ex-fling. She needs a roommate and needs one fast. Doing podcasts is her life, but things don’t go as planned. The quote I chose for Perdue is: “My father died. I had no one, and I went to you, and you treated me like I was exactly that. Like I was no one. Like I didn’t mean shit to you. I didn’t ask for much, I just asked for a family. I don’t understand how you can sit here and say how bad your family is when you are literally exactly like them. You gave me up for a status. And yet I can’t wrap my head around the fact that you never once apologized. You didn’t care. You didn’t ever care about me.”

Ash was once upon a time a married man. His family didn’t like his fling and he left her for them. When he answered an ad he got the shock of a lifetime. He wants the girl and he will get her. The quote I chose for Ash is: “Sir, raisins in a potato salad is an absolute abomination and anyone that says otherwise should be tarred and feathered.”

Matching Miriam by Mya O’Malley. This author grabs my attention and won’t let go until I reach the last page. But it’s ok because I love every minute of it. Once again I found myself drawn into a story I couldn’t put down. The characters are complex and relatable, from page one I knew I’d love the adventure they were about to take me on. The storyline is well thought out and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. If you love a good mystery with some romance here and there this book is calling your name. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Two Hearts Christmas Rescue is another great read by Tamara Ferguson. We get to meet Amanda’s friend, Kinley, and Jeff’s friend, Jake. Two Hearts Christmas Rescue tops my charts already this year.

Kinley runs the Animal Shelter in town. When the Holidays are around the corner she’s starting to feel lonely. The quote I chose for Kinley is: “You’ll have to come by sometime. Maybe I’ll have a little get together before Christmas when I’m more settled in. I’m really looking forward to Christmas this year since I’ve had the cabin built. I decided to put aside the past because that’s what my parents would want. It will be the first time I’ve celebrated the holidays since they’ve passed away.”

Jake is back in town on a mission. When he runs into a girl from his past things change. He finds himself thinking her often and he likes it. The quote I chose for Jake is: “He did. But he had some injuries which prevented him from continuing, so he’s retired now with one of my former unit members, who’s a wounded warrior. I would have kept him myself if I didn’t have to travel so much. It wouldn’t have been fair.”

Office Mistakes by Beth Hale. This was a fun short read that I really enjoyed. The characters are well developed and easy to connect with. It’s a short story but that didn’t hinder my enjoyment at all and it was a nice one to read between some of the longer stories I have on my list. This is a first read for me from this author and I’m really excited to what more she has to offer. I liked the writing style and the characters are great. Short stories are sometimes all a reader is needing and this author delivered wonderfully. Four stars and highly recommended.

Corporate Christmas by Bernadette Marie

The first read by the author and not my last. Corporate Christmas is a fantastic read. Marie knows what she’s doing while writing. Short, sweet, and romantic.

Chloe works through Thanksgiving for a promotion she’s been working hard for. Only to have it taken out from underneath her feet. She is let go and when the man comes looking for her things change. The quote I chose for Chloe is: “No, not that. Well, maybe that. No, what I figured out was I don’t want to do any of this without you. I want you in my life, Jason. I want you around me every day.”

Jason doesn’t know he’s taking a job from someone else. When he learns that she quit he’s upset. He then learns that she didn’t quit, she was fired. The quote I chose for Jason is: “And I don’t want to be where you’re not.”

Highly recommended for contemporary romance lovers.

Great read by McKinley who is a new author to me. Have a box of tissues ready because you will need them.

Lula Stanley is a teacher and sings Jazz as a hobby. When she is dragged to a Jazz club she is admired by the one person she likes. Lula is finding things out as her grandmother is getting worse. The quote I choose for Lula is: “That’s the idea, Mr. Adams.”

Dominic Adams aka Dom is a teacher and co worker of Lula’s. When dragged out by his brother he finds that one Miss Stanley is very talented. He brings her to meet his family while he meets her Nan. The quote I chose for Dom is: “Are you ever going to call me Dom?”

Highly recommended for contemporary romance lovers.

City Without A Sun (Vampire State Book 2) by Alexander Charalambides. I think one of my favorite things about this series is it’s not a cookie cutter vampire storyline. This author definitely point their own spin and made this series a bit more unique in my opinion and I love it. I recommend reading these in order. The storyline is complex and well written with characters that pull you in so far you are happy to be lost with them for a while. The author put just the right mix of drama, action and romance in these books that I feel it would be enjoyable to anyone no matter their reading preferences. It’s well thought out and paced nicely with great characters. I’m excited to see where this series goes next. Four stars and highly recommended.

Not my first read by the author, but a new series. Cassazza has outdone herself in this book. I will be looking for more.

Gianluca isn’t thrilled when he learns that his new intern is taking over for his assistant while on vacation. He doesn’t want an inexperienced young woman from the States. The quote I chose for Gianluca is: “The intern. I know who you are. I’m Gianluca Marini. Your boss. That’s all you need to know about me.”

Callie is heading to Italy for an internship, but doesn’t have an easy time after she lands. She doesn’t think her boss likes her. She quickly learns that isn’t exactly the case. The quote I chose for Callie is: “I owe you. Actually, I owe you my life. If there’s anything I can do for you… just tell me.”

I loved reading the book At Last (The Adams Brothers BOOK 1) by Mindy McKinley. It is a story that pulled me in from the very beginning and I was hooked. I love the characters of Lula Stanley and Dominic Adams. Lula is a wonderful teacher. She cares about her students. She also wants to know who her father is. Dominic is handsome, charming, and a man that doesn’t get attached to those he goes out with. What is it about Lula that makes him want to change? There is an attraction between them that can’t be denied. What does the future hold for them? Will they find a HEA? Read this book to find out. This story had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. I grew to care about what happens with Dominic and Lula with each chapter that I read. It was also enjoyable to read about many of the additional characters introduced. I loved the banter that goes back and forth between Dominic and Lula. The author does a wonderful job of making you feel the emotions of the characters and bringing the story to life. Don’t miss out on a romantic, entertaining, and exciting story that you will not want to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

The Princess and the Pit Bulls: Book Four in the Fairy Tale Series by Jody Lynn Daniels. Ok first and foremost I just wanna say I absolutely loved this story. This book definitely had me hooked from the very first page. The characters are complex and relatable, each one having their own personal story to tell. They pulled me in and I was so sad when I had to leave them but I won’t forget them for sure. This author just has a way with words and creating a wonderful book world to disappear in for a while. I found myself trying to read both faster and slower excited to see what would happen next and sad to being almost at the end. This was a wonderful story to sink into with characters that were easily connected with. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Throwback by Zeia Jameson. This story gave me all the feels. I loved this story and the fact it’s different from others written by this incredible author. This story while different was just as amazing and had me up way into the night because I just couldn’t put it down. I find it hard to really find the right words to show this book the love it deserves. This story shows a more realistic view on a love story. Love can be messy and this author writes it wonderfully. I found myself completely connected to the characters and was sad when I reached the final page. The emotions written into the story were Easy to feel and made everything that much more “real”. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Five stars all the way and highly recommended.

Mountains Loved (Mountains Series Book 3) by Phoebe Alexander. I honestly don’t know how this author does it, I swear she’s pure magic with words! Every book is better than the last! I was so excited to be back with Sarah and James I’ve been missing them. They have chemistry that just jumps off the pages and their story pulls me in immediately. I feel a coming home feeling when I get to continue their story. Please read theses amazing books in order to fully understand and get their story. The characters and storyline are so well written I find myself forgetting time of day and realize I’ve read the day away. If I could give more than five stars I would but it’ll have to do. Highly recommended!

All the feels of romance. The struggles are real. This is so worth the read. Remember chocolate may be required. This series is for 18 and older. I would also encourage you to read this series in order. As book 2 is a continuation to book 3.

This is the continued story of James and Sarah. With mountains between them. Lt.James McAllister is deployed. While he is gone, all he can think about is Sarah. He can’t wait to return and see if she is the love he seeks.
Dr. Sarah Lynden has taken another. Garret Stone who is her everything. But… Can he take the place of James? What will happen when James returns?

Phoebe Alexander how could you? She has left me wanting for the rest of James and Sarah’s story. This is a page turner, well written, and easy to pick right back up where you left off. Phoebe Alexander has some amazing characters who will be on your mind as you wait for the next book. I have read quite a few Phoebe Alexander books and have never been disappointed. I’m looking forward to seeing where this story goes. Please bring out the next one soon.

The characters each have something unique that drew me into their story and made me not want to leave. I have read step brother books from tons of different authors and this book stands out from the others. Most step brother books have more heat then anything. Battling Beckett stands by itself in comparison. Beckett lives with his dad and they are very comfortable. All his life his dad has always told him to becareful because women will be after him because of his money. Beckett goes to an elite high school, he’s the most popular guy in school and the quarterback to top it off. Before Beckett knows what’s happening, his dad is engaged and his fiancé Vivian and her teenager daughter Greer are moving in. Beckett keeps his eye on them and doesn’t really give them the time of day because he thinks they are out to get their money.
Beckett is expected to be nice to Greer and help her along. She sticks out at her new high school like a sore thumb. She is very uncomfortable there. Once everyone knows she knows Beckett, she watched even more by her classmates. Beckett’s team members seem to be smitten with Greer and Beckett doesn’t like it one bit.
Greer is attacked in the bathroom one day and as soon as Beckett hears about it, he changes his toon and tries to protect Greer any chance he can. That only brings more attention to Greer and whomever is out to get her gets even more angry because she wants Beckett for herself.
This book had the reader feeling a lot of different things. I disliked the way Beckett behaved in the beginning but as the book went on I loved him. He is an honest stand up guy and will do anything for this he cares for. Greer and her mom Vivian are very stubborn and work for just about everything they have and refuse handouts. I felt horrible for all the torture Greer endured because of Beckett. I cannot wait to read more from this author. 5 stars isn’t enough for this book.

I have to say that even on paper a man in uniform is hot. This is the second book I have read from this author and I was not disappointed. I really find that the author has a great writing style. The characters just come off of the pages.

I could relate with some of the issues the author has in this book. I really like how she writes the real life issues into the story. I really could relate to Ian about his dad and in some respects I could relate to Rachel. There is such a great chemistry between the two as the book progresses. The author creates just enough drama along with the romance to bring a realism to the book. I really enjoyed reading this book and will read more from this author in the future.
