A Way Out
By: Tami Lund

This book features such a wonderful storyline and characters. Maria is a brand new divorcee with plenty of money, but nowhere to live, no job and really no clue what she is going to do now. She really hadn’t planned on being in this predicament. This leads her to the one place and person that she thinks might help. Her sister’s house. But her sister isn’t there and their is a gorgeous stranger standing at their door. Oz is this handsome man at the door. Oz has an incredibly caring nature and they decide to travel together to Louisana, which is where her sister is, and a wedding that they are both invited to is. Enter amazing banter between Oz and Maria, an undeniable attraction and then a proposal that just might complicate things.
This book is the second in a series. It functions as a standalone, but it most definitely wont be the last book in this series that I read. I want to go back and read the first one just because I enjoyed the writing and the storyline that much. I definitely suggest picking this one up, as it won’t disappoint.

Someone To Watch Over Me

This is a best friend to lovers book. It features Angelo and Lucia. I absolutely love when this type is done well. When done well I feel like it gives characters with great depth, amazing development and, generally speaking, main characters with absolutely amazing banter between them. This book definitely delivers on all three of those aspects. I felt that Lucia was very heartfelt and that her emotions truly jumped off the page, starting with the initial rejection that she faces. From there, the readers are taken on a fantastic roller coaster of emotions that had me rooting for her to find the happiness and the love that I felt that she really deserved. This was just so very good! I definitely recommended it!

Acting Counsel (Kings of Screen, #3)Acting Counsel by Morgana Bevan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love picking up books by Morgana Bevan because I know I am going to be fully entertained throughout the entire story. Acting Counsel is no different as I was pulled in on the very first page and read the book in one sitting. I love how relatable the characters are, and the chemistry seriously pops off the page. You can feel the emotions that Catrina and Nathan are going through in each chapter. I’m a sucker for a good romance and with the humor and sass thrown in, this became an instant favorite. I appreciate that the author doesn’t rely on the spicy scenes to carry the bulk of the story, and everything flows nicely. Do yourself a favor and pick up this book as well as the rest of the series!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have read books by this author before so when I saw Married Blind pop up, I knew I wasn’t going to pass on it. I love their writing style and the way they are able to make a story flow so flawlessly that it plays like a movie in my head. This was a great romance that has quite a few moments that will have you second-guessing what comes next. Abi and Finn have found themselves on a reality show and in a marriage-of-convenience. It seems like they are going to breeze right through faking this relationship, but what happens if one (or both) of them catches real feelings? I loved this read and I think you will too!

Acting Counsel: A Close Proximity Hollywood Romance (Kings of Screen Book 3)

I am totally head over heels in love with Nathan. He is charming but spoiled and doesn’t know how to accept no, especially when it comes to Catrina. I think most women would wish they were pursued like that by an Adonis.

Catrina had her life planned, she was going to work her butt off until she made Partner in the law firm. But a two chance encounters change everything.

The moments in Scotland were my favorite. They were both free to be themselves and enjoy one another without feeling like they were being watched at all times.

I cannot wait to get my hands on Jackson’s story. Think it is going to be amazing.

Acting Counsel is the third in the Kings of the Screen series. Catrina Sinclair works as an associate in a law firm, and tries to follow the rules. Nathan Logan is a playboy actor who is trying to purchase a production studio.
Catrina and Logan have previously met. Catrina learns after their weekend tryst; Nathan is her newest client. When Catrina tries to keep their relationship all business, Nathan tries his best to convince her that no one will know.
This fast-paced romance kept me from beginning to end, along with the chemistry and tension between Catrina and Logan. This is a must read!

I enjoyed reading this romance story. I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. A story where several offers turn into something that neither character saw coming. What will fate have in store for Oz and Maria? They are really great characters and their chemistry is great to watch. They pull you into their world and keep me engaged to the end. I enjoyed watching their growth that made the story easy to read. A fast paced romance story, you don’t want to miss. It is entertaining to read and hard to put down. This is the first book in The Vine Valley series. It’s a fun quick second chance romance, with the main characters being Phoebe and Laurent. They have great chemistry together and a pact to marry when they are forty. All the characters are very well written and will keep you turning the pages. A Toast for Laurent (Vine Valley Book 1) by Theresa Paolo

A Toast for Laurent is the first book in the Vine Valley series and is a Contemporary Romance/Second Chance Romance that you won’t want to put down once you start reading. This is a new author to me but I’m definitely going to be checking out what other books they have written. This is a second chance romance packed with, drama, family drama, secrets, regret and so much more. This authors style of writing and attention to detail along with fully developed characters make for a wonderful story. Phoebe and Laurent have a past that he wonders what happened to her and why she ran. Fast forward two decades and he’s finally getting his answers to many questions or does he? These two have serious chemistry and you can tell love is both sided but one of them is to scared to realize what was infront of them all those years ago and even now. Can they have their happy ending? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Nathan Logan’s life looks like everything’s under control. Whenever the gossip columns post a fake story about him, he has people that clean up the mess for him. Because of all the “bad” publicity, when he tries to purchase a studio, the shareholders balk at the deal. In comes Catrina Sinclair, lawyer and a neutral party, to organize the deal. But Nathan and Catrina have met, in a mind-blowing one-night-stand. Talk about conflict of interest! This is the third book in the series, but can be read as a stand-alone. I love this series and highly recommend it.

Acting Counsel (Kings of Screen, #3)Acting Counsel by Morgana Bevan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the 3rd book in the Kings Of Screen series. All of these books can be read as standalone but I loved them all. The author has a amazing way of bringing the character to life. Making them relatable and real, describe emotions and feelings that the reader can relate to and giving the characters personalities which endear them to the reader and makes the reader invest in their story.
This is a romance which has got a push pull feel from the beginning. The characters chemistry jumps off the page and their flirtatious behaviour on the part of Nathan and the fight that Catrina puts up to make sure she keeps things strictly business is great entertainment.
When Nathen and Catrina met it was a one night stand. An amazing time granted but that’s all it was.
Catrina goes to work the next day ready to take on a big case of someone buying a studio only to discover that the person she’s representing is none other than the guy she thought she would never see again.
Now despite the attraction and chemistry she needs to keep things professional because failing to do so could lose her everything she has worked so hard for.

Nathan has it all, money, a good career, everything except a woman to share it with. When he realises that Catrina is his attorney he realises this is his chance to capture the one thing he’s missing. But she isn’t that easy and when she tries to keep things professional he tries even harder to make her cross the line.

Both Nathan and Catrine have things they risk losing but what if losing the things they have could mean they gain something much more. Will they be prepared to take the risks to find happiness? Can they keep their attraction and history a secret?

Acting Counsel (Kings of Screen Book 3) by Morgana Bevan. This is book 3 in the Kings of Screen series but can be read as a standalone. Its a fun, sexy, off limits romance. Its the story of Catrina and Nathan and they are so hot. Catrina Sinclair is a attorney that is a no nonsense, never break any rules person. While out one night Catrina meets a good looking guy and they hook up and it was amazing. The only problem is Nathan was that guy and now he’s walked into her office as her client. When Nathan met Catrina he thought she was in the missing puzzle in his life. He was determined to find her and make her his. He is very successful in his business life, has power and money now all he needs is a woman to complete the package. Catrina is trying to make partner in her law firm and must not break any of the rules. Sleeping with a client is against those rules. Will Nathan be able to talk Catrina into being his even though her career dreams may be shattered or will Nathan lose out on the woman of his dreams? This is a fun spicy romance that I loved. Each book is amazing so do yourself a favor and read it today!

Debbie Cromack did an amazing job with Angelo and Lucia. There was a lot of confusion between these two characters that showed how true love is sometimes in real life. I admire the fact that Angelo stood his ground for a while to really come forward and tell Lucia how he feels for her. Lucia out of emotion should of stop and thought about it through because in the end humans will always make mistake and regret it. But Angelo showed her how he really feels for her and he is willing to take care of her.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is book two of the series. It can be read as a standalone. It’s the first book I’ve read of this series and now I definitely need to go read book one!

Maria is finally free of her unhappy marriage. The only problem, she has no where to live. Money isn’t the issue, she just doesn’t have a plan in place. Maria decides she needs some time with her sister. However, when she gets to her sisters house, the only person she finds is Oz. Figuring they are both going to the same place, Oz offers to go with her to the wedding. There is instant attraction between Oz and Maria. The only way to complicate things? Maria offers to finance his band. Now she’s his boss and they are walking a thin line.

This book sucked me in and I couldn’t put it down! Who doesn’t love rock stars? This book has some angst, all the chemistry, and all the emotion! It was such a good read! I need to read more!!

This is book 3 of the series but it can be read as a standalone. I didn’t feel like I missed anything in the story. It was so good though that I plan to go back and read the first two.

Catrina is level headed. As an attorney, she is great at keeping things professional. That is until her celebrity fling ends up being a client. There is a strict rule about not sleeping with clients. They are certainly going to test that rule. Nathan has everything he could want. Until he meets Catrina. He knows she’s off limits but that doesn’t change anything.

There is so much chemistry between these characters that it’s hard to read and not root for them even if they are supposed to be off limits. The book is so well written, I couldn’t get enough! I feel like I devoured it so quickly! Definitely going to read the other books in the series.

Being in love with your best friend is hard. Not knowing they reciprcate those feelings until its too late is harder. Lucia and Angelo have a tug of war going on about whether or not they should be together. They grew up together so they have been inseparable, until there was one rejection too many. Lucia decided to walk away from Angelo and try to forget him. When she finds herself pregnant and unsure of what to do she runs to the one person who has always been there for her. I have enjoyed all the books I have read by this author so far. Even though this is part of a series you never once feel lost. The story flowed well and it will keep you turning the pages.

Maria and Oz were wonderful characters with loads of heart who drew me straight into the story and kept me turning page after page. Oz has been through a lot and has so many personal responsibilities that even though he knows his band has what it takes to be a big thing he is reluctant to move forward with it all because he needs his 3 paycheques to make ends meet. With Maria she is newly divorced with no where to go and nothing planned. They meet just before Marias sisters wedding and the attraction is instant but the big question is what would giving in mean for both their futures especially because they have more than just themselves to think about?. I truly loved this story and this very talented author definitely has a fan in me! In fact I went and pre ordered the next book in the series as soon as I finished reading this one LOL.

Laurent has not seen Phoebe in years. She was the girl who broke his heart and now she is back wanting his help. They made a pact years ago to marry at forty if both still single, Laurent though wants to marry for love and Phoebe did a runner before.

Phoebe has spent the years hopping from one place to another. She never thought she would reach out to Laurent but the chemistry is still there and they have an agreement that Laurent will pretend to be with her so she can get through a family event that is going to be difficult at best.

This was entertaining. It takes a bit to warm up to Phoebe but once you get to know why she did what she did you begin to understand her background. I liked Laurent from the very beginning and appreciated that he is honest with his feelings. The book definitely sets up for more books in the series.

A Way Out is the second book in the Rock Star Series and is a Contemporary Romance that I absolutely loved reading. I read this entire book in one sitting because I had to know what was going to happen next. This story is packed with drama, chemistry, secrets and so much more. Oz and Maria come from two different backgrounds, she’s newly divorced and no plan or place to go so she heads to sister’s house in L.A. but when she arrives she finds a strange man there instead. Oz is house sitting for Holly and Sam as they are in Missouri preparing for their secret wedding. Maria and Oz have unbelievable chemistry. These are surely meant to be as they both deserve someone that makes them happy. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I will say this can be read as a standalone as I didn’t realize this was the second in this series till after I had already started. Someone to watch over me was just amazing and beautifully written from the very beginning to the very end. I
Absolutely loved reading Lucia and Angelo’s story. They grew up together as best friends. He was a toddler when she was born. His mother and Lucia’s mom were best friends. Both Angelo and Lucia have been Inlove with eachother for the last 20 years but neither of them knew how the other one felt. Angelo refused to tell Lucia because he didn’t want to be her first love, but he wanted to be her last love. Just when they think, they can have the happily ever after, of course something happens ripping them apart again.
This book was really such a great read. It had a lot of emotional parts, some heat, lovable characters and a great storyline. Definitely highly recommend this book!
