I tried to love this book…unfortunately, I read the second book first, so I pretty much knew the entire plot before reading this one and it just took away the joy of reading the plot from me.
It’s the classic American meets a foreign prince and falls in love. There is an uproar, and all is overcome. She’s a loveable person so she wins everyone over eventually. Fyn and Bridget are likeable characters and have chemistry…. I just couldn’t get into the story. It was like watching a movie when the entire plot was revealed in the trailer.
*This does not mean I will not read another book by either author or them as collaborators; I just would have preferred to read this book first.

I’m not really sure how to word this one 😬I’m torn really because I want to share Ava and Matthias but at the same time I don’t want to because you need to read their story for yourself so they can share it with you , does that make sense !? ❣️📚
My heart was in the authors hands and she squeezes hard and as it feels like my hearts is going to stop she releases her boa constrictor grip , I catch my breath and then she squeezes again and so we do this “ dance” till the very beautiful end …,,,,please be patient with Matthias though , there’s so much to this man 🤗
Ava and her dad lived on the property where her dad was the estate manager but also more than that to the patriarch of the King family and she grew up with these boys ( Theo, Marius , Matthias , Kellan and Ronan ) and she was especially close to Theo , it’s like they were joined at the hip 🤣who used to joke that she was going to be his wife one day and everyone thought their story would unfold that way ….,,
Matthias was always harsh towards Ava and at times cruel and man I just want to climb into this book and really just give a slap around the head ! During a snow storm they’re “ forced” to spend time together and things take a very different and steamy turn and I feel like butterflies are dancing in my heart but not for long because Ava is sent to her aunt and she really doesn’t have much choice and Matthias never gets the message she sent …..this is the one time I want to “ shoot the messenger “ 🥲
Tragedy strikes and the boys come home and Matthias is harder , crueler and colder than before , slowly but surely pieces of the puzzle is put together and healing can take place and those butterflies return and I’m about to celebrate when another crushing blow hits and this time I really felt like there was no turning back but there’s thus thing about love , it endures and these push back against all odds and I don’t think there’s enough Kleenex to get me through this beautifully sad story but I’m grateful I held on by a thread because ever cloud has a silver lining …..
As much as I loved Matthias , Ava and their little family another person held a special place in my heart , dearest Eleanor you have a heart of gold and you’re an angel without wings 😍

Bridget leaves and doesn’t look back. 1 year later she decides to go back and get closure. Of course she ends up seeing Fyn again.
I felt bad for Bridget throughout the book. She was treated horribly by the King and Queen and some others. I couldn’t believe what happened or who was behind it. Just wow! Good 4* read

Granny steals the show in this one for me, with her zany character. Mia and Mitch are old friends who reconnect, and neither is sure where the other one stands on friendship/ romance with each other. But, Mitch is engaged, and Mia isn’t about breaking up a relationship, so she keeps her distance. There are some wild twists in this one and enough drama to fill a high school classroom. Fun read overall.

This book was so cuteee. I adored the writing style of both of these authors right off the bat, this being my first time devouring one of their works and I was not disappointed.
The story of weird boy meets equally weird girl, both living hard lives, they fall in love, then BOOM, they are suddenly separated, he disappears and she learns life doesn’t stop moving for anyone. Fast forward to the future, her mother has married into wealth and she’s now living the life he mom always wanted for her, popular, rich, all star boyfriend, soon to be prom queen, everything in her life is perfect. Him on the other hand, life had different plans for him, he’s been in and out of foster care his entire life thanks to a dead beat father who can’t seem to stay out of trouble. Finding any work he can and just trying to make it to 18, to start his life and hopefully make something of it. Fate thrusts them both back into one another’s life suddenly and let the madness ensue. Some love just never dies.
I loved our girl Mina, she’s a real show of force even when she’s breaking inside, she’s rich and popular, but kind when it’s needed and knows not to take things for granted. Don’t get me wrong she definitely has a whole moral dilemma and makes some shitty choice, and there a few moments where she needs to check her privilege and remember where she comes from. But she’s a solid character who comes full circle and really blooms in this story.
Wes, oh Wes Wes Wes, what a baddieeeee. I loveeee Wes, I can’t tell you how much I enjoy his witty comments and snark when people come at him the wrong way. He’s a solid dude, with great morals and a real passion for the things he holds dear in his life. Seeing home fight his wants and needs throughout this book and demand the same goodness he shows from other characters in his Wes way was delightful to read.
The story is terrific, the relationship between all of the characters was awesome, honestly, for it being set in a high-school setting (which I normally avoid due)I enjoyed the heck out of this read!! Could not recommend it enough, I am beyond excited to read more from these authors!

Russian and Royally Complicated, written by authors Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson, is a well written story spiced up with heavy doses of hate, desire, suspense and so much more. Daphne and Lev seperately face their two best friends marrying each other and these two rivals are both feeling abandoned, alone with no good outlet. Their personality quirks and attitudes have gotten under one anothers skin since they met years prior. But despite their feelings of contempt for one another, and being complete opposites, they are absolutely magnetized by one another and share. Neither one of them want to return to their lives after the wedding. Their friends run off on their honeymoon, and in an unlikely set of events, these two wind up in one another’s company begrudgingly. From there, unpredictable events take place and it kept me from being able to put this book down once I started. I was hooked from the beginning but I was so curious about secrets being kept, I am amazed at how fast I devoured the story. I absolutely do recommend if you like a good enemies to lovers with lots of heat!

Sing For Me (The Balefire Series Book 2) by Tam DeRudder Jackson. This was such a good read. Its a fun rock star romance. When Ashleigh finds a home that she can plant some flowers and really put down roots she is the happiest she has been in a long time. She grew with a military dad so they moved constantly so she always dreamed of staying in one place. Ashleigh is a substitute teacher and a freelance music reviewer. Her favorite band is Balefire and when she is loudly awakened to a motorcycle pulling up late in the night she never dreamed the lead singer was her new neighbor. Ashleigh doesn’t care who he is she comes out yelling at him for waking everyone up. Blu is smitten with her from that point on. I enjoyed reading this second chance romance story. This is still a new author for me which I enjoyed and look forward to seeing what is next for them. This is a well written story about life, starting over and getting a second chance at love. The problem is that the one you love has finance and will stop at nothing to keep what is hers. This is a story you don’t want to miss. A story where the characters are creative and pull you into their world with ease. They kept my attention to the end. I enjoyed watching their growth and what they brought to the story. A fast paced, hard to put down story that is easy and entertaining to read. I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it.
Enemies to lovers – another popular story reimagined and done oh so well! The passion and anger makes for an epic story. The chemistry and heat between these two characters are just as great if not better than in the first book! Another book I could not put down. Although that probably sounds boring to most people. Unless you are one of those that love those type of stories. (me) But this story is well written, fast paced, and you must keep on reading to find out what happens next. There’s drama, romance, spice and everything you want from a book like this. Ashleigh has loved their music and dreamt of the lead singer Blu in Balefire for quite some time. I think most girls have had that dream including me (Mark Slaughter was going to be my husband) as teenagers and young adults, but most know there is no chance we will ever get to meet them let alone fall in love.
I found myself getting lost in their story intertwined with memories and dreams from way too many years ago. I absolutely loved Blu and Ashleigh together. She didn’t cave to him and his ego which I think made him realize she was worth the work he had to do to get her.
I hated having to put this book down, so much so I may have dropped my kindle on my face which I hadn’t done in a while. I kept fighting sleep to get a little further into the book. I already have the next book on my TBR list and I cannot wait to get started.

This was a great 5 star read. You get pulled in right from the beginning and you can’t wait to see what’s coming next. It was great seeing the characters from the first book. Lev and Daphne were great characters and I really enjoyed their story. The chemistry and banter between them was great. There are several twists and turns and the secret at the end, did not see that coming. This is my favorite couple so far in this series. All of the characters added a great element to the story. This was a great 5 star read. I was excited to finally get to read this book and I wasn’t disappointed. Bridget and Fyn were great characters and they gave us a great, steamy story that I didn’t want to put down until I was done. After she discovers her fiance is cheating on her, Bridget decides to still go on her honeymoon. Where she has a hot and steamy evening with Fyn. You could feel their connection coming off the pages. Time passes and she returns to discover who he really is and she decides to stay with him. Let’s just say things get very interesting for them. We get a heck of a story with several great characters that added a great element to the story. My emotions were all over the place. I absolutely loved this book! It shouldn’t surprise me because I thoroughly enjoy this author’s work, but I was caught off guard by just how much I adored it. I like rock star romances in general, but this one felt a bit different in a refreshing way. I found myself quite invested in Ashleigh and Blu right from the get-go. Blu is naturally a ladies’ man who doesn’t have to ask twice to find company. Ashleigh is the girl next door who seems very hard-working and down to earth. I really loved that she doesn’t care how famous he is, she’s going to give him a piece of her mind. Will there be a spark between these two, or do opposites really not attract? I highly recommend picking up this book (and series) to enjoy this wonderful romantic adventure.

Every page had you hanging on every sentence and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. It is a very unique story with even compelling people. The story really transports you into this world. I couldn’t put the book down.

The author has done it again. It’s amazing how she can put so much depth and draw you in so fast and keep you going to the last page. Be prepared to laugh, cry, and swoon over a HEA. I can’t wait to read more by this author.

Ivy and Ace’s story will not disappoint. I love how this author makes all her characters so relatable. Be prepared to laugh, cry, and swoon all in the same book. This book is full of twists and turns. It keeps you on your toes and then makes you swoon.

Lily is one of those characters you are immediately drawn to. You can relate to her and you are constantly rooting for her. The love story slowly unfolds and ends in a HEA. I can’t wait to read the next one. Love the way this author draws you in from the beginning and keeps you wanting more.

I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, I was worried there would be too much drama for me but I’m glad I gave it a chance!
This is an engaging read, following the story of Mia, Mitch and Lacey. There’s secrecy and plot twists which I loved, especially as when I thought I knew what the twist was going to be, there were elements I didn’t expect. The tension was built well as Mia and Mitch race against time to stop Mia’s life from being ruined. While I expected this to be a little more intense, I think it was paced well for a romance novel.
The characters were well-constructed, and described well so I could picture them clearly as the scenes played out. The chemistry between Mia and Mitch was evident throughout and I was rooting for them from the start. I would have liked to have some more insight into Mitch’s perspective on things but the book is well written, I really enjoyed it!
Love Shots is a small-town romance and the fourth book in the Bluestone series. The story comes with all the ups and downs of living in a small town with that group of town folk that just can’t seem to mind their own business! It was a fun read that had me laughing out loud at times, I think Bluestone may just be a place to be. I really enjoyed Isobel’s easy way of telling a story, especially since I’m from a small town and know how it goes sometimes! This small-town romance has something for everyone, it has the strong headed, beautiful woman, the sexy cowboy who is trying to be laid back. The banter between the main characters was fun and refreshing at times, and like I said, had me laughing out loud. Then there were times when the conversations between the main characters were truly deep and heartfelt. Summer finds herself down on her luck and finds her way back to her home…. Bluestone County, but only to find her plans aren’t going to go the way that she hoped they would. Teddy has also returned to his hometown after a bad tour while serving in the Navy, but now he has to not only deal with his recent purchase but has to duck, dodge and deal with a fiery blonde when she realizes, he has the one thing she wants. There is so much detail put into this story, and even though it is part of a series, I feel it is a great standalone book! I hope you will enjoy reading about Summer and Teddy and all of the adversity they face as much as I did!
