A Sweet ChristmasA Sweet Christmas by Nicole Richard
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this short Christmas story. The author does an amazing job making the story have a really festive feel. Romance and Christmas go hand in hand and the author does a great job showing that. The characters are well written as well and the story overall feel complete. You can help but fall in love with them.

Thea and Ben are two people who aren’t looking for love or romance. Thea has had a bad past with relationships and wants to concentrate on her business, Ben is a confident guy who feels that he doesn’t need a women in his life and that a women would add nothing.
But how wrong they both were. From the second they meet their chemistry jumps off the page and you just want them both to give in and fall in love.

I really enjoyed this story. It was feel-good and easy-to-read which was just what I was looking for.
Sparks fly between Thea and Benjamin as soon as they meet. They have wonderful chemistry that flies off the pages at you. I love Christmas books and the Christmassy feeling runs throughout, it left me feeling ready for the festive season.
This was a really quick read, but the author packed so much into it I didn’t feel as though I was missing out.
If you are looking for something light and fun then I would recommend this book

Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship (The Perfect Pairing Series Book 1) by Parker Fairchild – Review by Tamisha Janay

Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship (The Perfect Pairings Series Book 1)Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship by Parker Fairchild
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was captivating from start to finish. This time of the year, it is normal for me to read stories that remind me of Hallmark movies and have the same premise and similar storylines. This was a breath of fresh air.
Meet Olivia – who had gone through something completely unexpected when she discovered that her boyfriend and her supermodel twin sister were an item. They got engaged, and Olivia wanted to be as far away from them as possible for the holidays – hence, the cruise. Time to step out of her comfort zone. After a few too many drinks, she ends up on Santa’s lap telling him that what she wants for Christmas is a fictional character from a book that she is writing. Little does she know that she is speaking to the real Santa – or that her fictional character isn’t so imaginary.
Meet Jace, an ex-Navy Seal and the real-life man that Olivia believes she has dreamed up. He is heading to a wedding with his friends but gets a mission from Santa that he cannot pass up. He is charming, funny, kind, and perfect for her in every way. But can he convince her of that before Christmas day?
They both have demons that they are fighting, but they can live happily ever after if they can work through their problems together. I loved the retirement community, Jace’s friends, and the playfulness between the two MCs. I am looking forward to more stories like this as the series continues. If you are looking for a heartwarming story that breaks the mold, this is it!

Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer (Curvy Ever After, #2)Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer by Stephanie Harrell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Though this is book two of the series, this book can be read as a standalone. I was hooked from the start. There is a lot of emotion in this book and it’s very well written.

Harper and Lincoln have a lot going for them. The last thing either of them expects is Harper to get there pregnant after a weekend fling. There is a lot they both need to learn about the other. They each have their own demons to face but just maybe they can face them together. Can they fight together instead of against each other for the family they’ve each always wanted?

I really enjoyed this book! I’m going to give book one a chance as well because if it’s half as good as this book, it’s worth it!

Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship (The Perfect Pairings Series Book 1)Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship by Parker Fairchild

I really enjoyed reading this book and it makes me want to decorate for Christmas and turn on the holiday music! The author was able to mix a holiday feel, Christmas magic, and a Caribbean cruise, and make it feel like one amazing vacation. This romantic comedy was filled with fun characters – Olivia who is on the cruise to avoid Christmas with her twin sister and Jace who is a Commander in the Navy and on the cruise for a wedding of his friends. Santa, Mrs Claus, Jace’s friends, and all the elderly friends are so much fun! I felt like I even got to know the waiters because Jace always calls them by name. The description of the cruise ship, the drinks that were consumed, and even the music playing were all so detailed. I smiled, I teared up, and I laughed a lot as I read. This was a wonderful and feel good read that I devoured in one day!

Rock Me To The Top (Gracefall: Vicious Love Tour Book One)Rock Me To The Top by Victoria Zak
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

From best friends to the love of a lifetime, this book drew me right in from the very first page. Joe and Melody have been the best of friends from the time they were kids. They never lost touch as they became adults and always harbored a secret flame for the other. I found it heartbreaking finding out about Joes childhood and how he never felt like he was good enough for her. Now that he’s finally in a better place in life he’s ready to make a move and see if he can make it work with the love of his life. It’s so fascinating following the day to day life of a rock band on the road. This book has romance, heat, tragedy and plenty of excitement that made me not want to put the book down. The ending was beautiful and made me tear up in the best possible way. I cannot read to read more of this series.

Lincoln and Harper have an unforgettable one night stand. Complete strangers with off the charts chemistry in bed. Down the line Harper finds herself pregnant and a second chance run in with Lincoln he finds out he is going to be a father. Both want the best, and of course both want each other, but they have some demons to slay to get to that happy place. As things progress they find that they are a great team in bed and out of it, and that together there is nothing that they can’t overcome.

The One Night Stand/Surprise Pregnancy trope is truly one of my favorites. You never know how things will turn out , and you always hope for the best. This story is one of those feel good stories where Lincoln and Harper came together for a reason, and it was truly meant to be.

Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship (The Perfect Pairings Series Book 1)Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship by Parker Fairchild
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship was a sweet holiday romance. One I could see being a future Lifetime or Hallmark movie.
I’ll be honest when I first started reading I got really confused. I wasn’t sure what the author was doing. It felt like a book within a book! It all worked itself out in a short time, but still threw me for a loop at first.
Olivia running as fast as she can away from family this holiday season, because her twin sister is now engaged to the man she once loved. Jace spending his time on a holiday cruise to watch and be part of the wedding of two dear friends. Little did they know what was up ahead for them.
Not in your typical idyllic Christmas setting, this book makes for an intriguing romance with the drama expected for these works of fiction!

This was a really good book! At the beginning I wasn’t too sure about this one, because it seemed like the story was going really fast and was just going to lose traction and be a fluff story but I really enjoyed this novella (it did feel more like a novel to me) once I got about 25% of the way in. I enjoyed the Christmas and the Sweet (get it? Haha) theme was present in this novel. The characters were relatable and it was easy to get lost in the story. This was steamy, romantic and overall a relatable story. I was originally going to give this book 4 stars but by the time I got to the end I had tears in my eyes and couldn’t stop smiling so it’s definitely getting 5 stars from me! Thank you author for writing such a great holiday story!

My heart is still smiling after finishing this book, I loved this story. The story of Thea and Ben is a perfect holiday read. Thea is an owner of a bakeshop and all business. She does not have much luck when it comes to men, that is until a handsome gentleman, Ben, walks into her bakeshop and the story just takes off from there. Ben really had my heart in this book , he was just so full of love, promise and very attentive to Thea from the beginning. Thea being a business owner is really caring and loving and I loved that both Thea and Ben were all about family. From dates on getting to know each other to very hot sizzling moments, I could not get enough of this book.

The title and blurb are what caught my eye with this book. I have been itching for a good surprise baby romance lately. As this was my first book by this author, I wasn’t expecting to be hooked by these characters and how involved I got in their story. Harper and Lincoln had that instant chemistry for a fun weekend with a stranger, but that weekend turned into some more 9 months later. I will definitely be going back to read book 1 in this series!

This is a fun, sweet story that puts you in the mood for romance and Christmas. Fun characters I’d like in real life, as well as some that are not as likable, but we can relate to having them in our lives! Not overdone on romantic scenes, which I think puts it firmly and fairly into that sweet/fun read category. The writing and editing I think could use a touch more of a heavy hand, but I really enjoyed the base story, under some strange addings on about Mrs. Clause. Overall it was a fun read and I’d read more by this author and in this Perfect Pairings series. I can see myself reading it again closer to the holiday when I need a quick break from all the busy, busy.

This was the first book I have read from this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I mostly read romances and this was right up my alley! I love the holidays and truly believe that they are the perfect time to read romance!

Ben and Thea were very well crafted, the story was short and sweet. This author wastes no time getting to the point and neither does Ben. I loved the meeting in the bakery and the sweet scenes the author puts up. I will for sure be recommending this to my friends!

When a complete stranger steps into Thea’s bakery she is thrown into a whirlwind romance. Ben is a smooth talking charmer and it makes you wonder if it’s too good to be true. Thea and Ben spend the time around the holidays getting closer and finding that the things that they are looking for could be right in front of them.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a sweet love story (see what I did there), but it also was a refreshing spicy book as well. The characters were relatable and liked and it left me wanting more. I did have questions while reading like wanting to know more about her brother and where that will go. Also, wanting more to the story of her friend Jules and what came of her? Why had she started acting out of character. While I could make my own conclusions, I’m curious to see if there will be more to this or another novella coming! I am left with a little hole of unanswered questions.

Even with the unanswered questions I still highly recommend this book for anyone who would like a moderately steamy Christmas love story. This is a perfect book for you! I kept flipping the pages craving more and think anyone else would be too!

Rock Me to the Top a five-star read that will be like music to your ears. Gracefall can rock me any time, especially the drummer Joe, well he can definitely beat my drum. I loved how they were such good friends and how conflicted chemistry makes life. The will they wont they just adds to the whole drama. But don’t let the chemistry fool you, there is drama and upset that will knock you backwards. This is a great story and I can’t wait for more in the series.

What an entertaining book tor read as we head into the holiday season! Santa and Mrs. Claus help Olivia find Jace, the hero of her book. Of course, Santa and his wife, along with their friends, are not quite who they seem. They are some of th feisty seniors on the cruise. This is the most entertaining romance books I’ve read in a while. The plot is fun, humorous and cheerful. The characters are quirky, with personalities that shine like Rudolph’s nose in a fog. This is a book to cuddle up with a warm blanket, some cookies and a cup of hot chocolate. Absolutely adorable. Highly recommend. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Sweet Christmas is literally and figuratively exactly what this book was. It was a sweet romance between a baker and a guy in a suit, that started over the blue eyed stare of Ben.
I thought it was cute and sweet! Honestly I was reading like this can’t be real, when’s the other shoe going to drop and he’s going to have the grovel his way back. It never happened. The way the author wrote Ben and Thea it was like out of a fairytale. Boy meets girl, girl likes boy, boy is perfection, no drama.
A Sweet Christmas romance, that gives off that let’s cozy up with a big mug of hot chocolate and enjoy our book. I didn’t read it that way but I wish I did. Hmmmm… maybe I will have to read it again and do just that!

If you thought book one was good, this is better!
There is now hope, how is it possible?
In a time of pain and heartache, this author rips you back into this world with Julia and Derek and doesn’t disappoint.
Freedom.
This was an easy read if you have the time your done before you know it asking for more.
If I didn’t know any better I would think this world was real.
The characters become a part of you and you just want to escape into this book and hold them tight.
Derek is my favorite and he is truly a leading man.
Five stars all the way around, can’t wait for book three.
This is giving you adventure, chaos & romance with cover art that is so enticing you want to read it to find out the story.
Hang in there Julia there is more to your story and I’m here for it.
A true page turner.

This book is so full of Christmas magic and wonder. Olivia is so lost and lonely when she steps on the Serendipity cruise and my heart breaks for all that she’s been through. When she sits on Santa’s lap and begs him for Jace the hero of the novel she’s writing, it makes my jaw drop to find out that he is an actual man and he is right there on the cruise! Somehow her heart must have known that he was out there and he was hers and she was his. Seeing how Santa and Mrs. Clause help bring them together to get to know each other and to realize that they belong together made my heart so happy. This book is full of so many laugh out loud and swoon worthy moments and Imogene and Grandpa Erwin are adorable too. I really love the way that Olivia found herself on this cruise and finally gets to step out of her twin sisters shadow and have a fairy tale life.
Jace is even better than the hero of her romance novel and even though he’s been through some rough patches in life he’s able to pen his heart, cherish her and take a chance on a once in a lifetime love! This is a book I’ll read many times over because I absolutely adored it so much!

Just when you think you know an author and what to expect, especially after just finishing the first books, BAMMM she slaps you upside the head and says pay attention.
I was not expecting to love this book so much.
I gave the first book in the series 4 stars because I felt there was something lacking in the story. Well this one definitely makes up for it.
The characters are superbly written and the story development is so good.
I really appreciate that the author elevated the story to where it is now.

When I read a dystopian type book I expect action, suspense, drama and one heck of a good world builder. Brittany Anne deliveres on every single expectation! It was so easy to get lost in the world she created and connect with her characters. I felt all the emotions. All of them! There is just something about romance in a fallen world amidst literal chaos that gets me. Hopeless romantic? Yes. Which is why I enjoyed this so much! Perhaps even more than the first book. If you want to give this a read I highly suggest starting with the first though! Once again, Brittany Anne, you nailed it.

Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship is the first book in The Perfect Pairings Series. If you are needing a bit of romantic, holiday spirit this book just might help. Olivia decides to spend the holidays on a cruise instead of suffering through visiting her sister and her sister’s fiance. What happens after having dinner with Santa and Mrs. Claus changes Olivia’s life forever.
The story is cute and has a lot of fantasy, but fits the bill for a holiday romance. Imagine a Hallmark movie on a cruise ship. There are fun and quirky characters onboard and they add to the story. This was an unbelievable romance but a great getaway from the day-to-day rush of real life. I enjoyed the story and look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

This is the second book in a series, a post apocalyptic series following the leaders of the Resistance. Here, we are following the story of Derek. Derek was determined to never fall in love, but he found something irresistible in the woman he rescued. Julia was kidnapped and held hostage and has had many scars, both mental and physical. I enjoyed watching Julia overcome her past and learn to trust again. She tries very hard to grow and trust Derek. Derek has to try hard to be patient with her and not scare Julia away. This was a sweet love story amidst fighting to free people, mystery in the community around them, and dealing with a fallen world.

Need a holiday pick me up? This book is the perfect thing to get you into the somewhat nontraditional Christmas mood. It took me until about chapter 2 to be completely obsessed and finish the book in one sitting. Jace is a typical hot super-smart navy seal and Olivia was a typical little sister (even though she’s a twin) having several sisters I know what it’s like to be overshadowed throughout life. Olivia and Jace are so adorable and honestly, I’d love to see this book turned into a short-made for tv series for a hallmark or even a hallmark movie. Olivia needed to believe in Christmas magic to make her dreams come true and honestly so adorable.
