Rock Me to the Top: A Gracefall Rockstar Romance by Victoria Zak is a brilliant friends to lovers romance. Foe me this book is definitely all about the connection between the two characters. They had such a chemistry between them you could feel it on every page of the book. I liked the fact that the book had a bit more going on in it as well. It didn’t feel like your standard romance story, there was a level of detail I didn’t expect. This is a great book and looks to be the start of a brilliant series. I would definitely recommend this book.

Victoria Zak caught me off guard with this novel! I wasn’t expecting half of what happened in this story and was pleasantly surprised by all parts of it. I love that Joe wasn’t born into fortune and fame. It made his storyline feel much more real and like he deserved the fame that he was working so hard to achieve. He had a rough childhood with his brother and has been lying about it from the start of his friendship with Melody. Add in the childhood turned adult love story and I was hooked from the first few pages. Melody is the daughter of a famous rock and roll star and watched her parents’ relationship fall apart because of his life on the road. She has been in love with him since they were kids, too but refused to act on it out of fear of ruining their friendship and not wanting to go through what her mom had to. When Joe asks her to go on tour with his band since her orchestra audition fell flat, she doesn’t agree right away – which made this feel more believable. I loved that they spent some time together and didn’t jump right into bed. It wouldn’t have had the same impact on me if the author had gone in that direction. There are some things that I will not spoil for you, but just hear me when I say I screamed “OH NO” because Victoria caught me completely off guard. I am so glad to have read this novel and look forward to reading more from this author in the future. It was easy to read in one sitting, so if you haven’t checked it out yet – you really should!

This is the 1st book in the Vicious Love Tour series. This is a New Adult Romance and is 242 pages in length. This story follows Joe, a drummer, and Melody, the daughter of a rocker. Joe and Melody are friends and Joe hires her to manage his tour. She was down after a bad audition and ended up joining up with his band, something she thought she would never do. Sparks fly between them and he wants her, but she knows first-hand, from watching her parents relationship die over the rock star lifestyle, and she wants no part of it. Throw in some deep dark secrets and they are left running from each other. Can they find their way back?

Wow this story! I really enjoyed it. The pace and entertainment are wonderful. I was easily drawn into the lives of these characters. They became almost family like. It focuses on Joe, his band and his first love. I loved watching these two come together. The band..well they are a band who lives and breathes the rock and roll dream.
The secondary characters are perfect. They add to the story and don’t overstep but move slightly forward now and again. I really can’t wait to read more about this group!

This is my first story by Victoria Zak. Rock Me to the Top is a good story although it is almost predictable. Guy and girl who are best friends, finally admit their feelings for each other, guy is “caught” in the arms of another girl. Girlfriend misinterprets situation and flees causing grief for them both. Of course, there is more going on which makes me want to keep reading to see how they will figure things out. The ending leaves me wondering if there will be more, there is so much potential for more not only for Joe and Melody but for the rest of the band members. Even Melody’s friend Dani has a story. I look forward to seeing what this author can bring to this story line and what kind of trouble these characters will get into.

Rock Me To The Top by Victoria Saks is a wonderfully romantic story. Joe and Melanie are childhood best friends. They are childhood friends that have been in love with each other for all their lives. They made a pact when they were younger to keep their friendship first. Do they cross that line? Joe and his band have finally achieved their dreams of fame. Melanie is close to achieving hers, she dreams of playing with the LA Symphony. Can she have her dreams and the man of her dreams? I really enjoyed reading the story to find out. The chemistry between her and Joe sizzles. These two are like watching an electric storm. Moxley, Dylan,, Dani and Taylor were amazing supporting characters. They each had their roles to play. I cried to see Mox’s cut short. I would love to see his story with his wife. Joe and Melanie see some huge challenge’s to their relationship (summer tour, band antics, etc. ) but they come through it and still end up back together and the ending from the proposal on…let’s just say I’m not crying, you’re crying (happy tears). I loved the book. Rock and roll, groupies, tours, etc., what’s not to love. Highly recommend.

Rock and Roll sexy times This was another brilliant series starter by Victoria Zak. I absolutely fell in love with Joe Grace and was so vested in his relationship with Melody. Unputdownable, this book had me turning the pages into the early hours. Romance, drama, friends turned to lovers and music – what more could you want? I can not recommend this book enough!

Rock Me to the Top is book one in the Gracefall: Vicious Love Tour series by Victoria Zak. This author is a new discovery. And what a refreshing and arousing delight this story was. There was a sensuality that was extremely addictive and Joe and Melody were the most enticing couple. Joe was a rock star drummer. Rough around the edges perfection. He was your typical bad boy star with that extra zing. He possessed a little something special that was undeniably alluring. Melody knew the rocker life and while maybe she was a little crazy for even contemplating a life wit ha rocker, she was unable to deny the attraction that sizzled between them. Secrets would threaten to wreck their world. There was always one problem after another and the odds seemed to be stacked against them. It was such a drawn out drama that made me insatiable for more. In a quest for the elusive happy ever after, once they get used to the idea of a them, these two go at it guns blazing. You would think their relationship would be just about impossible, being friends first and all, and the whole rocker lifestyle being so difficult and temperamental, but no, their incredible personalities shone through the pages and they gave it their all. This story provided an endless unveiling of true love, loyalty, honour and tenacity. a brilliant 5 star read.

This new adult contemporary romance is a friends-to-lovers tale where there is the push and pull, should I or shouldn’t I. AND whelp, they definitely should. OMG this one has all the feels. It was hot, sexy and sizzling. Victoria has given us complex but loveable characters and you cannot help but root for them. But nothing is plain sailing and emotions are all over the place. Having seen what it’s like on the other end of the rock and roll, rock star life Melody has seen its dark and devastating effects. So can she handle that for herself? Victoria Zak is a wonderfully talented author who brought us a story filled with emotion and characters who are totally relatable even if living a very different life to us. There are twists and turns along the way….one I was totally not expecting!! oh my poor heart!! I can’t wait for the next book in this series…I NEED to know what is next for these fantastic characters and for Gracefall.
This fantastic book sees the band Gracefall finally get their big break….a headline tour!…their star is on the rise! For Joe and the rest of the band it is the stuff dreams are made of and he not only wants to grab this opportunity with both hands but he decides its time his best friend Melody becomes more than his best friend….something he has wanted for a very long time. Melody is the daughter of a HUGE Rockstar and has seen first hand what that life style can do to someone so she is not keen to fully step back into that world. Joe is determined to convince her that not only can they make a relationship between them work but they can both follow their dreams and have them come true.

What a beautiful book! Will is in the hospital with terminal cancer and no visitors. Tori befriends him as she has done before with patients like him. Neither of them were prepared for what happened next. The journey they go on is so sadly beautiful and poignant. Everyone deserves to have someone there, especially when you are dying.

Wow, I really loved this book. I do not get many opportunities to read rock and roll friends to lovers so this was great change for me to read. Melody and Joe are best friends but yes have these feelings for each other that is more than friendship. Growing up, Melody is the daughter of a famous drummer and Joe takes lessons from Melody’s father. Joe Grace and his band “GraceFall” get the opportunity of a lifetime, to go on tour and be the main headliner for their concert tour. Melody .. after being disappointed on not making the LA Orchestra, decides to go on tour with the band. Sparks fly between Joe and Melody while on the tour, but there are secrets too. This book is a roller coaster of emotions that make you want more. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Where do I begin? This book is sooo good. I knew from the synopsis somewhere in this book I would cry and I did indeed cry with Tori in so many parts of this book. This book is a slow burn romance but it’s not too intense once the burn gets going. The cliffhanger at the end made my mouth drop. I am definitely reading book two.

I enjoyed this shorter romance story. This is a new author for me that I look forward to seeing what is next for her. This is a well written story that takes romance and adds some comedy to it. The characters are connectable and they made me laugh throughout the story. They made the story for me and kept me turning pages. They not only brought life to the story but they made the story engaging. This is a story where romance puts everything on the line. What will fate have in store for Joe and Melody? What will happen with the steamy drummer and this down on her luck female. I really enjoyed their growth and chemistry throughout the story. They truly made the story for me. I highly recommend this story.

Come Back Tomorrow by Amy Argent is the first book in the Embrace Tomorrow Duet. This is such an emotional and heaft wrenching book that really takes you on a journey. It was was easy to become enthralled with Will and Tori. You are drawn into their story and the connection that they forge with such ease. I became so invested in them. This is the kind of book that leaves you thinking about it long after you have finished reading it. More than once I have found my mind wandering back to these characters, wondering how things are going to play out on book two. This is an amazing story and I cannot wait to read the next one.

Come Back Tomorrow (Embrace Tomorrow Duet Book 1) by Amy Argent. Sometimes you need a book that tears your heart open in all the right ways and that’s definitely what I got with this book. This incredible story captured a huge piece of my heart and I don’t think I’ll ever get it back. From the very beginning I knew I was in for an emotional read and I loved my time with the characters. Not all stories are sunshine and rainbows, sometimes an author comes in and shows an all to realistic side of life. This author did it beautifully and while I’m one who like the sunshine and rainbows sometimes you need the rain storms in a book also. I couldn’t put this book down and I can’t wait to read book two. Have some tissues near by and trust me this book is worth every tissue you may use. Four big stars and highly recommended.

Rock Me to the Top is the first book in the Gracefall: Vicious Love Tourseries by Victoria Zak. It is a fantastic rockstar romance with friends-to-lovers, angst, drama, secrets, chemistry, sizzle, and plenty of emotion. I know Ms. Zak for her ‘Guardian’s of Scotland’ stories- a paranormal historical highlander series. So this book is definitely a change from what I would have expected from her. I was curious to see what she would do with a rockstar romance- and let me say right off the bat- she does not disappoint. I should never have doubted that, as Ms. Zak definitely know how to tell a captivating story, and as I just learned- she can handle any genre brilliantly. This is Joe Grace and Melody Sterling’s story. Joe is the HOT drummer for Gracefall- a metal band climbing the charts and stamping their mark on the music industry. Melody is Joe’s best friend, who also happens to be the daughter of a rock legend. Due to seeing the tole that rock-and-roll and fame took on her parents relationship, Mel had vowed to never date a rock star, ever. But when Joe hires her to manage the band’s latest tour, things take a steamy and unexpected turn. What happens when past secrets are revealed, putting pressure on their relationship? This is definitely worth the read to find out! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

This book took me on some twists and turns, it was like riding a roller coaster. This is not your typical rock star romance book. Yes, it has the typical alpha male that most do but he has a twist that isn’t typical in your rock star romance. He is not an @$$. The slow burn that is built in the book has you constantly turning the page to see what happens next in their journey. Can they overcome what has happened in their lives in the past to build something that could be amazing for their future? That is what I was constantly asking myself while reading this book. Then, once I thought I had a handle on how things were going to go…. BAM…. out of no where comes a twist that not only turned everything upside down but messed with my emotions. This book almost had me in tears for so many different reason. That is what told me that this book was written really good. Not many authors can build your emotions to go through a vast array and make you feel them. I am giving this book 4 stars because, even though I know this is the first book in the series, I felt like there could have been more story lines with the side characters. We can guess that the next books are going to be about them, so not having many details is probably a good thing. I am just one that likes to know more about the characters that I will continue reading about. That being said, I will continue to read this series because I need to know what happens after that crazy twist.

This was a brand new author for me to discover, and I am so glad that I did! I loved how this talented author weaved together a very entertaining story, with my love of rock thrown into the mix! The story was engaging, full of the drama that can come with rock n roll, and a few unexpected notes as well!
For me what really pulled me into this book, was the insight it gave me. A rock star has a good life, adoring fans what more could they want right? There was so much behind the scenes, some things I had thought about, and well other things his book the way it was written, opened my eyes up and it really gave me a in depth feel for the characters! The book itself brought on a lot of feelings, all were welcomed by me, because to me they are what made this wonderful book!
I loved Melody and Joe as characters. Both came from a love of rock, not just for their interest, but for what filled their hearts for the love of rock. I loved how they were so close friends, and destiny brought them to work together. I new it would not all be perfect notes when they started their journey, but the key to good music is getting those bad notes and keys out of the way right I loved their story and their sides to their own personal sides of who they were, and what make them who they are. They were two souls in the world of rock, and their hearts were heavy for sure. I loved their story, and it really made this book powerful in every way. This book was so addictive, I could not put it down till I finished it!
As said this was a brand new discovered author for me, but this is far from my final book to read by them. I can not wait for more books in this series to come out. Plus an author who portrayed a beautiful rock n roll story as this is highly commendable! Loved their writing skill and how they flowed the story!

There is no doubt when you read this book the emotional roller coaster it takes you on is bumpy, heartbreaking and sometimes hard to bear. But this story really gives you the feels that you want to cry so much to an uncontrollable sob to anger because we all know, Cancer Sucks. Tori is a psychologist at a local hospital and this is where she meets Will. When Tori’s nurse friend, Jenny, asks just to meet someone on her floor that this patient does not get any visitors of friends nor family. This man just needs a friend to visit and talk. This is the moment that Tori meets Will. Tori is taken back as she has befriended other patients before, but they were more older as Will is a young man of only 29. At first, Will just wants to die on his own terms, this is not his first battle with cancer and this time it is more aggressive. Tori would make a daily visit to Will just to talk and befriend him with no strings attached. As the days past and the more time that is spent together, Tori and Will fall in love but not without the true ups and downs when cancer is trying to win the battle. You also get to know Will before cancer and how he was growing up and demons he had to defeat. Believe me when I say this story is not easy at times, but it truly is a great story. I am looking forward to reading book 2. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Come Back Tomorrow (Embrace Tomorrow #1) By Amy Argent
4-stars
Come Back Tomorrow was a truly memorable read! Right from the get go I was captivated and that didn’t let up until the very end. I knew going into this one that it would be emotional but I don’t think I was quite ready for just how emotional it was. I was quickly able to connect with the characters and I could easily picture everything playing out in my mind because this author wrote with so much detail, and in a book like this it’s certainly creates an impact!
This was an absolutely beautiful love story, one that I won’t soon forget!
If you’re looking for a good crying read look no further, this is the book for you!

Wow what can I say about this book. It is a beautiful story that is so powerful that you can’t put it down. The characters are so amazing written that you feel your a fly on the wall watching it unfold. This story isn’t a typical romance. It’s full of tears, and laughter, it shows the strength of two people to fight for love even when all the odds are stacked against them. It deals with the subject of terminal illness and the grief that causes for the people who care for that person really well. It’s a book I read with tears in my eyes, a smile on my face and hope in my heart.
Will is dying. Suffering from terminal cancer he has given up on fighting and just wants to die alone to save the people he cares about watching him suffer. With a DNR in place all he has to do is sit there and wait. That is until Tori comes through his door. Tori works at the hospital and has supported several patients towards the end of their lives but none like Will. At first Will doesn’t want to know, he keeps his guard up and works hard at pushing Tori away but as she proves she is there because she wants to be and because she cares their relationship grows. The sad part is this new found love has an expiration date and with Will’s DNR in place and his refusal of treatment their time could be short.
Can this chance of love give Will the hope he needs to keep fighting? Or will Tori have to leave to let go of the man she loves.

Come back tomorrow is a hook line and sinker type of book. It reels you in and doesn’t let go. It’s as if you can see every moment and day through Tori and Will’s eyes. The details of this book are beautiful. It is definitely a must have, must read and share with others type story.
Side Note-I thought this needed to be added for I seen it in another review. Personally dealing with my dad having cancer this book hits home. Note- I offer a content warning for those who may have lost loved ones to a terminal illness or who may be squeamish around medical details. The author presents a realistic, well-researched picture of day to day life with cancer.

Come Back Tomorrow is book one in the Embrace Tomorrow Duet by Amy Argent. I went in with an open mind when reading this new to me author. I can honestly say this book destroyed me. It gripped me so tragically that I was feeling all that the characters were going through. Come Back Tomorrow is a deeply emotional and devastating tale of compassion, connection, understanding, acceptance, determination, hopelessness, optimism, helplessness. It also depicted courage, incredible strength, endurance, love, passion, sadness, frustration and fierceness. It touches on the harrowing journey that is the battle of Will’s life. I have never read a more descriptive, and desolating story that just utterly broke me. I marvelled at the way the author set this up. The execution was meant for maximum impact an boy she did not miss the mark. I felt as if I was wrung out and put through a grinder. I was stripped raw emotionally and never has two characters left me totally spellbound and enamoured by their tragic circumstances. But in all that heartbreaking sadness, the frightening thoughts that any day could be the last, Will and his angel somehow managed to push through the adversity and the insurmountable odds stacked against them. The incredible inner strength that this woman had was impressive and totally selfless. The good times were so few and the bad times seem to go on endlessly. And I, the reader, was along for the ride. It literally hit high levels and then plummeted so fast that there was little hope that there would be a happy ending. In all honesty, this book is not for the fainthearted. It was one of the most difficult stories I have ever read. It left me totally depleted and unable to comprehend what just happened. It was one of the most harrowing stories imaginable, but one of the best written stories I have ever been honoured to read. As hard as it was, this story has left me with some of the most beautiful memories I have ever had from a story. I can say that it was a wildly touching story and one that I will never forget. These types of stories leave a lasting impression and not a lot of authors have the talent to pull it off. Amy Argent unveiled an unforgettable and courageous tale of a war unlike any other, and the lengths people go to survive, the lengths their loved ones will go to lessen the burden and provide unwavering love and support, and the relentless desire to conquer this devastating disease that robs the world of way too many. A compellingly moving story that will be hard to move on from. And the stunning conclusion awaits. What is in store for Will and his angel? I cannot wait to find out. 5 stars.
