Oh my heart! This love story was such a great read! I feel my review won’t do it justice. This story between Lark and Hunter is very close to home for me. This is one of those stories you fall in love with and can’t put down. I love the way the author writes their story.I want to say so much more but don’t want to risk any spoilers! I will be reading all of the other books in this series very very soon!

This was a fun 5 star read, I was pulled in right from the beginning.
Lark is returning back home for her sister’s wedding in her RV. She is trying to figure out just how to avoid Hunter for a week until the wedding. But fate has other plans and she ends up seeing him sooner rather than later.
Hunter didn’t expect to see Lark as soon as he did, when he saw the RV on the side of the road he had a feeling it was her. He ends up helping Lark and old feelings come rushing back. When Lark’s sister asks them for a favor they agree to help her. Will these two finally find their way back to each other? Or will secrets keep them apart?
Overall I really enjoyed this second chance romance. I loved her nickname for her RV, what a life to live. All of the characters added a great element to the story, there was one that I didn’t care so much for you you will find out pretty quickly who that is. The author does a great job with her writing and I can’t wait to read more from her and this series. 1-click and get started today.

Bared was a good 4 star read for me. Athena is such a strong character but sometimes she annoyed me. No matter what happened she kept trying to keep Tru at arms length. No Matter how hard he tried and he did try hard, she had steel walls guarding her heart. Tru lets her into his personal life in hopes that Athena will open up and really try to give this a shot. Will Athena ever let her walls down and let Tru in ? I thought this boom was well written and I loved the characters. I just felt like something was missing. I don’t know what but I just feel like I was looking for something else to happen. I’m looking forward to more in this series in the future.

Lea Nolan is an author I just heard about. I read the synopsis of Hols me forever and it pulled me in. When I started the book I couldn’t put it down. I love romance novels and this one didn’t disappoint me. I know this is the third book in the series but it’s so good I plan to read the first two. Lark and Hunter belong together and I love that they got their second to first their past. I can not wait to read more books by Lea Nolan. Definitely worth reading!

HOLD ME FOREVER (HERON HARBOR Book 3) by LEA NOLAN is just as fantastic as the first two in this series. Having read the previous two installments I had high expectations for this book and Ms. Nolan did not disappoint, I was so enthralled in book three that I quickly devoured it in one sitting without meaning to. This romance has everything that a reader can hope for including a small town, second chances, great main characters, and plenty of romance, drama and more. Personally I’m hoping this isn’t the last we see of Haron Harbor, because this reader for one definitely wants more.

One can read “Hold me Forever” as a stand-alone although it’s a part of the Heron Harbor Series. This is my first book by Lea Nolan and she didn’t disappoint. The characters are well written leaving you a desire to learn more about them and their stories. Also, who doesn’t love a second chance romance. Lark and Hunter’s romance will draw you in and have you start cheering them in no time. Find some time to sit down and enjoy this book, you won’t regret it.

This is the first book by N.D. Jackson that I have read. I am a HUGE fan of romance novels of every variety. There were some things that I could do without but the story of Athena and her past is so well written and when she meets TRU, she wants him and something starts to shift inside her. The characters are really great and Athena and Tru together are perfect. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Green Street is where they came from. Charlie, Gwyn, Indigo and Athena. This is Athena’s story. Shoved out into the world, she made the most of it. She is a millionaire, has clubs all over; but she decides to do something different and open a pool hall. Sponsoring a pool tournament is where she meets him, Tru. Their chemistry is hot from the first moment. Athena wants him, but just for the sex in the short term. Can Tru capture her heart and make her want to keep him? Athena is great, strong, and a very independent woman. I love stories with a strong heroine. They make me feel empowered. That I can do and conquer anything.

Another awesome installment that is all sweetness. If you love yourself a good romance where you can snuggle down and get lost in all the heart-thumping, toe-curling moments then this book and this series are just what you need. Lark and Hunter seem poles apart bless them. One is free-spirited, going where the wind takes her, never quite settling and painting the world as she passes through, the other is a dig your roots in kind of guy. He’s set himself up in his hometown and he is happy, successful as the Police Chief. When Lark’s sister’s wedding brings them both back together, both must face the fact that while they may be different there is an undeniable spark they cannot deny, one that hasn’t died out, even with all the years they have been apart.
Sink your teeth into this little beauty I promise that you won’t be disappointed.

The Heron Harbor series is full of books that I am always excited to read when they come out…and this is not exception.
Lark is returning Heron Harbor for her sister’s wedding. She is hoping to come to town, attend the wedding, and leave before anyone really notices. That plan goes out the window almost as soon as she gets into town.
Hunter, the Chief of police, is quite surprised when a stranded motorist in his town turns out to be a woman he has not seen in many years. Lark and Hunter dated many years ago…and even had plans to run off and get married. But…when the time came…Lark said she couldn’t go and left town. Now he is face-to-face with the woman who has always held his heart.
When Wren becomes overwhelmed at work, she leaves it to Lark and Hunter to work out the final details of the wedding. Will these two be able to move beyond their pasts and work together? And what happens if their old feelings come to the surface? Lark is a free spirit and has no intentions to settle down…can Hunter change her mind? Or are they destined to part once again?
I fell in love with this series from the first book…and each book that followed has been just as good. I devoured this book in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down because the characters pulled me in and I needed to know how it was going again. Another great book by Lea Nolan!

This book really captured my interest. Once I started, I couldn’t put it down. Romance being the main element with drama, passion, darkness, tragedy and sex. It’s everything I look for in a romance novel.
Bared is about an emotionally broken woman named Athena who had a dark past making it very hard to open up to anyone who isn’t one of her few best friends. She then meets a pool player named Tru who also had trust issues. The passion between them was inevitable but was it strong enough to get past both their hardships?
The relationship between Athena and her two best friends was very authentic in my opinion. They bantered like I would with my own friends. I loved how the author wrote all of the characters, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. It was refreshing to read a romance that wasn’t super fairy tale like.

This is the 3rd book in the Heron Harbor series. This is a Contemporary Romance novel and is 184 pages in length. This story follows Lark, an artist, and Hunter, a police chief. Lark has done everything in her power to avoid going back home but being in her sister’s wedding makes her head that way. Hunter wants to settle down but there is really only one person that he wants to do that with, and she pulled away and fled years ago – until she shows up in Heron Harbor. Now they are both tasked with putting the finishing touches on her sister’s wedding – can they work together with all the sparks flying?

HOLD ME FOREVER (HERON HARBOR Book 3) by LEA NOLAN. This is the 3rd book in the Heron Harbor series and I loved it. They have all been really good but this one has become my favorite. Its the story of Lark Donovan who is the youngest of the Donovan sisters. She Lark loves Art and feels like that is all she needs in life, that and keeping away from Heron Bay, the town she grew up in. Teaching Art to kids and seniors has been her lifeline and she loves it. But when her sister Wren is getting married Lark has to go back home to help with the wedding. The one person she doesn’t want to see is her ex, Police Chief Hunter McMullen. Of course she knows its inevitable and sure enough on her first day she runs right into him. Hunter knows seeing Lark is going to happen since he’s the best man in Wren’s wedding but he didn’t realize the feelings were all going to come back more than ever. Sparks still fly between them and Hunter wants more than anything to prove to Lark that they can make it work. Will he be able to convince Lark they can work things out? Read Hold me Forever to find out!

I loved this heartwarming and at times heartbreaking story about friendship and finding love, a real page turner of a contemporary romance. The storyline follows four girls who are known as ‘The Green Street Girls’, they include Charlie, Gwyn, Indigo and Athena. Each girl has their own story but they have all been sent away and were left alone in the world until they found each other and have supported one another ever since. This story centred on Athena who has a devastating backstory but who despite this is now a millionaire at twenty one and owns a pool hall. It’s at the pool hall where she first meets Tru, when he walked in as though he owned the place! She first noticed his confident walk and his killer smile and she thought he would be good for a fling but definitely not someone for any long term commitment. However, she soon starts to fall in love with him and hopes that he is also up for a more permanent relationship.
I loved the characters, especially the four girls and their friendship really came across in the writing, and I look forward to reading each ones own story in this series. Athena is very likeable and relatable and I really felt for her and could understand why she had built up walls to protect herself until Tru came along. The chemistry between them sizzled off the page and led to some steamy scenes. They were great together and I was cheering them on hoping they would get their happy ever after. I was hooked from the start and thought this was an enjoyable and engaging read and a great start to the series.

This book is your typical small town romance, so if that’s your thing, then you will definitely love this book. This is book 3 in the series – you don’t need to have read the first two, however they will give away some plot lines from the previous books. Lark is the opposite of her academic sisters, enjoying her lifestyle of teaching art and travelling to sell her own work – just like her mum. Six years ago she left Hunter, and has avoided coming home but now they have to work together to help Wren & Smith finalise their wedding. This was definitely a case of opposites attract. Lark & Hunter were great characters, very real easy to like. I really enjoyed all the mystery surrounding the family history, and it really helped show the reasons behind Lark’s actions years ago. I loved watching them both re-discover the love they had for each other.

Bared was an ok read. I really wanted to love this book better than I did. The synopsis sounded great and I thought it would be incredible. Maybe it was just an off reading day but this book didn’t capture my attention at all. I never felt drawn in, to the stories or the characters. It was entertaining, just didn’t hold my attention. I hate that I didn’t love this book like I wanted to. I’m going to give it 4 stars though I didn’t hate it. It was just very eh to me. It was well written and had a great premise I just really think I had an off reading day. Maybe I’ll enjoy the next book in this series better!

Bared is a story about Athena, a rockin’ entrepreneur who has several clubs all over the coast keeping her in the upper class. Tru is a kind and caring man who has been hurt before, and plays a mad game of pool. When their worlds collide, they realize how much they need each other. But will their pasts stop them from being together? This is one of my favorite books I’ve ever read. It has shock and awe, romance, unpredictability, and such amazing, relatable characters. Read this book if you like to watch characters grow, see the hardships couples go through, and love the best friends who always have your back. What more could a girl ask for?

I absolutely enjoyed this story! It was engaging, moved smoothly and all of the plot points worked well together. There was nothing that felt forced or out of place especially being the third book in the series. I didn’t feel like I was missing key points at all.
Lark and Hunter had a beautiful second chance and the road to realization for what caused them to fall apart in the first place was well designed. I loved the character arc that Lark experienced with her family, herself and Hunter as she healed the parts of herself she denied and hid for so long. This was a beautiful story and I will most likely read the others in this series!

5 Stars HOLD ME FOREVER (HERON HARBOR Book 3) by LEA NOLAN Hold Me Forever is the third book in the Heron Harbor series by Lea Nolan. This is a new to me author that I’m definitely going to check out the other books in this series. I truly enjoyed reading this book and had a hard time putting it down. I read in one afternoon. This is Lark and Hunter’s story. Lark is a independent women who just takes one day at a time she believes this is the only way to keep from getting hurt. She’s also got just one rule and that’s to never go home to Heron Harbor. But she’s going to break that rule to go to her sisters wedding.. Hunter the Chief of Police and really loves life he only wishes he had someone to share it with. These two are haven’t seen one another is years and are put together at the wedding. There are definitely sparks between. Find out what happens next in this must read. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

I absolutely adored this book! I don’t know how many Nolan has written but it feels like she’s been doing this for years. This was a feel-good book for me. I felt like I knew the characters and the story was just GOOD – – a nice amount of romance, not a ton of swearing or vulgarity. I had a hard time putting it down! I see there are two other books that tell the other two sisters’ stories and I look forward to reading them.

Hold Me Forever is part of the Heron Harbor series, but is a stand alone book. It is the first I have read, and it seems each book focuses on one Donovan sister. This book focuses on Lark, the free spirited artist sister. I will likely go back and read the other 2, because I enjoyed this book. The characters have very well written and realistic personalities and the supporting characters seem to as well. The story is told in 3rd person, but with a back and forth focus on either Lark or Hunter. This worked well because it told us about each of their feelings and perspective, but did not have to wait for the next chapter, like most books that alternate POV. There were a couple things I didn’t like in the story. I didn’t quite understand why Lark kept her relationship with Hunter a secret. Seems like she was really close with her sisters, but kept a 2 year relationship and engagement a secret… Also, there seemed to be a lot of messed up childhoods, and it got to be somewhat depressing at points. Parents that died, absent fathers, lying parents, abandoned kids… seemed like everyone who grew up in Heron Harbor had a bad homelife. Beyond that though, it was a good story and I would read more by Lea Nolan.

Hold Me Forever is the 3rd book in the Heron Harbour series by Lea Nolan. Although part of a series, Hold Me Forever can be read as a stand alone. I have read the 2nd book in this series, and now the 3rd but hadn’t read the first book and didn’t feel that I was missing any necessary information that would reduce my enjoyment. I would love to read the first book though and get Wren and Smith’s story. In this book we get the story of the 3rd Donovan sister, artist Lark, who feels like the black sheep of the family. Lark has returned home to Heron Harbour to attend Wren’s wedding. Given the role of doing the last minute jobs for the wedding she’s thrust together with best man, Police chief, Hunter McMullen. Unknown to friends and family, Lark and Hunter were engaged years before. This is a fantastic second chance romance. I loved reading Lark and Hunter’s story. Being forced together to do the last minute wedding prep, Lark and Hunter both fight the love and attraction that is still between them. Seeing other family members who have arrived for the wedding also causes Lark to rethink much of her life when she hears stories which give her much to ponder. Now that we have the stories of the 3 Donovan sister’s I hope that this series will not come to an end. I’m sure the residents of Heron Harbour still have more stories to tell.

HOLD ME FOREVER (HERON HARBOR Book 3) by LEA NOLAN – Review by Barbara Stegall What a great love story. This was a nice easy read with great characters. From the start you want Lark and Hunt to have their HEA. Poor Lark has to learn the truth about her mother’s death and secrets kept by her late father. Lark comes through everything and gets her guy right along with her art. Enjoy the ride (and not in the RV).

I love how relatable I can see myself in Lark (the main character) but the sensational journey their love sends us down in this book will leave your heart racing but in a good way. I love the way this author returns both characters back into one another’s life with their history: The fact they’re reunited with another couple’s union is powerful in its own right. A love story within another one is great reading, to me, the sucker for romance. The chemistry within their body language described in the story speaks to exactly what draws me into these characters. Their bodies speak more than they actually do to draw them near. I have been pulling for them to rekindle and also for them to give one another a second chance. This story goes in depth on connecting these two. Pick up your copy and enjoy this read!

This story flowed along so nicely I didn’t even realize I was getting to the end of the story. I loved meeting these two and watching them reconnect. They made me laugh and smile at their antics. Then when Hunter upped the ante and decided to start swooning her…I couldn’t stop reading.
The secondary characters are a treat! I enjoyed her sisters then there was Hunter’s BFF, who happens to be the groom. Their little heart to heart talk made my day!
Overall this is a wonderful story that really kept my interest. There is stress and good times as well as a few surprises. This is a first time author for me and I will be keeping my eye our for more from her.

Bared by N.D. Jackson was full of friendship and so many feelings that I was overwhelmed with emotions. I am still new to this author (only my 2nd book) but her writing has a way of pulling you in with wonderful characters and her attention to details in her storytelling. I felt there were two relationships in the spotlight – Tru and Athena and the girls of Green Street (I want the Green Street Girls to be my friends!). Bared broke my heart and then had me crying as I put it back together. I can’t wait for the other Green St Girls to find their HEAs. Remember to live your life!

I really loved Hold Me Forever. Lark’s story was so beautiful and Lea Nolan’s characters are bright and funny. This is the third book in the Heron Harbor series and I want to go back to the beginning and read them all. This is such an easy to read, beach and summer fun book. I’m looking forward to more from this author!!

Athena is a successful woman motivated by the pain of her past. Can she overcome that or will she let it get in her way of the super hot pool player that comes in to her pool hall?
She is surrounded by money and lifelong friends that are better than family.
I loved Athena’s personality. I loved Tru and his Ma. I loved the dialog with Indigo and Gwyn towards Athena’s decisions (or lack of).
This was a quick read. I couldn’t put it down. There was steam. There was emotion.

Bared is book one in the Green Street Girls Romance series by N. D. Jackson. The story was an emotionally charged drama that flowed along gracefully and dramatically. Athena and her soul sisters were ready to take on the world and falling in love was not in the cards for her. Tru comes along and rocks her to her very core. She was unprepared for all of the feelings he invoked, all that he represented and the way he wedged his way into her heart. She had her girls and her business and that was all she needed. Or so she thought. These characters blended together well and despite their individuality, they connected very well and were a pleasure to read about. The author spun a wonderfully intricate and thought provoking tale. A fabulous introduction to the Green Street girls. An endearing story. 4 stars.

Hold Me Forever was a great read! It was entertaining, quick, sweet, and I laughed several time while reading this novel. Raven’s story was so good, but I honestly honestly I enjoyed Lark’s better! It was so hard for me to put this book down when I started reading it. I fell in love the moment I read the first page. I really hope Nolan continues this series somehow but I don’t see how. I just love Heron Harbor so much and I don’t want to end! This was a great read and I highly recommend this standalone series!
