My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fitz and Cadence together again, I could not be happier to read part 2 of their story. Dakota Willink has hit this one out of the park. The reuniting of Fitz and Cadence is filled with so much turmoil. This story takes place 17 years after the first part. Cadence’s baby is all grown up and ends up going to prom with Fitz’s son. Fitz is still butting heads with his father and could end this reunion before it really gets going. I loved this duet. Both stories keep you guessing and if all will work out with a happy ending.

Defined (The Cadence Duet Book 2) AUDIO BOOK by Dakota Willink – Review by Dr. Anya Schultz

This book gave me so many different feelings. It will make you feel love, sadness, worry, hope, and so much more. Cadence Defined is a book about a love that never faded, but was unattainable. Circumstances of politics created chaos and sadness until they found each other again. The story felt relatable and realistic, which made you yearn for a happy ending, in hopes that all of us can obtain our own happy endings. As an audiobook, I thought that the narrators were well picked. There were two narrators (one male and one female), each playing their part. One thing I wish would have occurred is that the male and female would have each played their part within each chapter, instead of the male or female playing both parts of the chapter they were narrating. But, otherwise, this was a great read!!

Defined (The Cadence Duet Book Two) AUDIO BOOK by Dakota Willink – Review by Bobbi Wagner

This is my second audio in this series and I loved it just as much as the first.  This is an author I never hesitate to pick up, she is that awesome.  I enjoyed how the narrator brings the story to life using different tones of voice.  They keep me wanting to listen to more of it.  They make it fun to listen to and also entertaining.  This is a story about opposite attraction and how things once were may not be the same again.  Cadence’s story continues and we get to find out if she is willing to sacrifice her values for a man she has loved.  She is such a great character and brings so much to the story.  I highly recommend this audio

Finding It All (Finding Happiness In Harmony Book 1)Finding It All by Stacey Komosinski
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book in the ‘Finding Happiness in Harmony series’ and it is such a heartwarming story of best friends and first love which really gave me a feel good feeling, and I love a happy ending. Chloe Larson is twenty five and has never really been kissed let alone had a relationship as Chloe believes she’s better off with friends so she can’t get hurt. This is as a result of having had a bad childhood which was spent hiding a secret and being ridiculed. Anyway, Chloe is busy being a reporter by day and spending weekends living life to the fullest with best friends and roommates Gaby and Jess, so she has no time for romance. Meanwhile, Chris Sherman is bored of the selfish women that he seems to attract and having just got out of a relationship he is definitely not looking for love. Until, he meets Chloe and everything changes for Chris and he is determined to get to know her, but Chloe is still wary of letting anyone in. They both need to find the courage and choose love. This is a small town romance which I felt totally immersed in as the authors descriptive narrative bought both the characters and the setting to life. I felt Chloe and Chris were both likeable and relatable characters and I loved seeing how their relationship developed. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series.

I am so excited for this series! Sex on Fire: A Quickie Read is the first book in the Naughty Neighbor series by Ashley Bostock. This author really has a way of sucking you in from the beginning and then keeping you there right until you read the words “The End.” This is not first series I have read from this author so I’m thrilled to be reading her again. This is a short story featuring Poppy and Turner. Poppy is a little bit on the nerdy side seeing as though she is into video games and the like. Turner is her seriously hot neighbor. In this very short 38 page story, there is a ton of chemistry and a ton of flirtatious banter. I have fallen in love with this book and cannot wait to read more.

This certainly is fiery

Looking for a quick spicy read?! This book is for you! The chemistry between Poppy and Turner was enough to catch the pages on fire. My biggest complaint about this book was that it was too quick of a read. I wanted more of their story. I enjoyed it and look forward to reading the next book.

A delightful surprise

I started the series with this book. I am going to have to backtrack and catch up on the others. Glory and Kace…My heart. Their story is tragic and magical. What the two of them have to work through to make it to the other side is inspiring. I loved seeing the path they took. This book was a delightful surprise.

This story is so stinking cute. I love the geeky neighbor and sexxy neighbor vibes. I felt like Poppy was a kindred spirit. The only thing i would have liked more is descriptive sex. It wasn’t fade to black but more or less, fade to grey. I would highly suggest to anyone who’s wants a quick, cute, light hearted read.

This was a quick read, but even though it isn’t long you still get to know the characters fairly well, and are pulled into their potential relationship.
Turner and Poppy are neighbours, and she is the only female that hasn’t thrown herself at him, instead they become good friends. Turner has finally had enough and wants to entice Poppy out of her introvert world and invites her to a bbq, only it doesn’t quite go to plan and he risks losing her completely.
I loved how Turner knew how to encourage Poppy and how thoughtful he was with her. She doesn’t believe that someone like Turner could possibly want her, but he is so sweet and patient.

Finding It All (Finding Happiness In Harmony Book 1)Finding It All by Stacey Komosinski
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Finding It All is the first book in the Finding Happiness In Harmony. It is a slow burn small town romance by Stacey Komosinski. I have not read any of Stacey’s work before and found out this was her debut book. It took me a while to get into the story as the beginning is slow paced. This story is written in the third person, not a bad thing, just took me a while to get into and there was not always a clear delineation of who was speaking. It is written in multiple POV’s which I love. I really enjoyed the premise of this sweet romance, but it needed something more in the way it is told. The characters are sweet and there is that sweet innocence in their relationships with men, and their friendships. I look forward to watch Stacey grow as an author.

This was a cute story and had some good moments. I think what I had difficulty with was I could not connect with Chloe and her mindset throughout the story. I also feel like there was a lot going on at times and there were some details that weren’t essential and did not add to the plot. I also kept wondering if something was wrong about Chris. I was glad the situation in the end made it clear why the premonition thing was important and tied that loose end for me. It was overall a nice story and I enjoyed it. I would read more by the author.

This is more of a second chance to redemption story. Three years ago a tragedy occurred which separated Glory Rose and Kace. He went off to university and Glory got stuck in their hometown. His dad’s second marriage brought him back to town. Gaining courage, she meets with him and , to her utter delight, he’s happy to see her. She lets him know that she’ll be attending his university and he’s pleased that they’ll be together. Life isn’t exactly what they expected and university is fraught with difficulties. Life isn’t easy with one thing happening after another. Are they meant to be together or are the hurdles too high to overcome?

The story was interesting and well written. The characters were real and relatable. I was frustrated with Glory Rose. After everything that had happened, she was still making stupid decisions. I was so happy when she finally started to see the light. I enjoyed the story even if there was a little too much drama.

This story only comes up short in length. I wish there was more. My heart was in it the whole time. Poppy is your average nerdy girl who lives next to Turner, the sexy next door neighbor. In the short time it took me to read this book, I couldn’t put it down. I would recommend this book to anybody who wants a quick taste of attraction, lust, and nerdy romance. I really enjoyed this story. Its a really quick read but full of spice and passion. Even though it a short story you get a complete story so nothing is missing. The author does an amazing job with her character. It’s a relatable situation of the hot guy who ever woman wants and the geeky girl who thinks no one would want her.

The feelings from Poppy are so raw. You can really feel her fear and anxiety about her feelings for Turner and how she is going to progress with them in this state of constant anxiety.
Turner is totally in love and wants to do everything in his power to prove to Poppy she is everything he wants. All she has to do is trust and let him. However that isn’t as easy   as it sounds.

Sex On Fire by Ashley Bostock was a very quick read. I honestly expected it to be a little more steamy, but for how short it was I was very impressed with the story. Less is more indeed. It was very quick and to the point, and interesting. It was also interesting to have a female lead interested and in the business of video games as that is usually a male dominated area. So I really enjoyed that small aspect. If you’re looking for a quick happy ever after story this is the book for you. I can’t want to read the next installment in this series.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was my first read by this author, who certainly knew how to use words and how to play upon getting the readers eye and mind with characteristics, the characters looks, down to the undeniable chemistry between Poppy and Turner

I loved Poppy so freaking much. She reminded me of myself, a geek and dress attire was something I would totally do. And having a neighbor as hot as Turner…she certainly had a strong will as far as she made it I must say.

The scenes where they first talked before the BBQ, seriously the chemistry was leaping off the page and I wanted them just to give in so very much. The author knew what she was doing, she wanted us as the readers to wait in anticipation because we all knew it would be worth the wait in the end! And oh heck yes it was!

As the story progressed and the events that made Poppy insecure were also what bought them together knowing they had the real deal in the end. And lets not deny the amazing fun in the bedroom. They were both so likeable characters and both put on show that was steamy and I personally think all of us who read this book were left with our tails wagging.

Loved it. It was a short and hot read with lots of steam and feeling a little bit warm in here moments. I loved this first book in the series. I can not wait truly for the next one in the series. This is a great read to go at and read before bed especially if you have some time to yourself

And it wasn’t just the sexy aspects of the book I loved the two love interests and how well they meshed together. Truly enjoyed this book for everything it was 🙂

Sex on Fire: A Quickie Read (Naughty Neighbor Book 1) by Ashley Bostock does live up to its name.
It is a very quick read.

Poppy is very shy and Turner is her very attractive neighbor. She keeps an eye on his comings and goings but isn’t brave enough to make the first move. Turner only has eyes for Poppy and wants to make her see that he only wants her. But some embarrassments are hard to overcome. Like setting a fence on fire.

I thought it was a cute, fun read.
Personally, I would have liked a little more character development, but for a very short read, it was well written.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When Ben saw Jazzy he had an instant attraction but with her crass and stroppy attitude, can he try and break the outer shell of her heart and help her recover.

Ben is an all round good guy and being a jock and hot is always in the limelight, but when he sees Jazzy he instantly has an attraction that won’t go away, the only problem is that she is a bitter, twist girl but can he try and uncover why she is so broken and try to heal her.

Jazzy has a past which she would rather forget but this has imprinted on her attitude and would rather push the boundaries rather than keep within them, but when she meets Ben he is the only person who has tried to help her but can she let him in or be allowed to love again.

I loved the story and the characters which are developed within this book. The story is hard hitting and delves into subjects which are not comfortable to read, but Stephanie writes with such passion and delicate that you at times feel sorry for Jazzy but with her attitude you could hit her aswell.

The character of Ben is lovely and although these two characters are different but still complement each other brilliantly. I can wait to read the next book in this series.
