Conveniently Yours (Titans Of Manhattan BOOK 1) by Anise Storm – Review by Corine Lombardi

Conveniently Yours (Titans Of Manhattan #1)Conveniently Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Yes, this author has created a love story that can be described as a dream come true.
The main characters are a perfect match.
The moral of the story is not just love but it is stay humble.
How would you feel if you were paid to fake a relationship?
All your worries also disappear.
This was a mix of the movie 365 days with Beauty and the Beast.
It is always great to see a happy ending.
Quite long story but it is a definite page turner.
Both dreams come true for one million dollars.
The death aspect hit me quite hard but Caspian as the main male character created a world of redemption.
This was very well written and I am excited to read the rest of this series.
This author never disappoints.
Five stars for book one, a good clean romance with an amazing fresh plot.
The development of this romance is unmatched.

Dead Sound (Things Unseen Series Book 1) by Anise Eden – Review by Corine Lombardi

Dead Sound (Things Unseen, #1)Dead Sound by Anise Eden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Yes yes yes!!!!!!!!
Now this is a five star read!
If you are a fan of psychological thrillers, reading this is a must.
There is humor, there is romance but you NEVER see it coming!
If you don’t believe me let me tell you I read this in one sitting!
This story starts with our main girl returning from a tragedy that happened at work!
Has she recovered, can she move forward?
Now this has a dystopian trope to it that does not disappoint.
Anticipation is an understatement and let’s say we all need a bestie like Con.
This author made me feel like I was part of this story in such a plot she introduces humor at just the right moments.
The ending had me ready to reread automatically.
I cannot stress this enough, you will be hooked by the first page.

“…..Please tell me you believe me, I’m begging you!”

Diabolical Sword (The Charm Collector Book 1) by Melissa Erin Jackson – Review by Corine Lombardi

Diabolical SwordDiabolical Sword by Melissa Erin Jackson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a bumpy road for me and I love fantasy.
One of those love it or do not finish type of stories.
I must say I almost gave up but I didn’t and it was all worth it.
This is a new fantasy world that I would have never thought of.
So imaginative and original.
I loved the magical sword angle.
We have a female lead that brings a sexy to the mysterious fantasy world.
This story was very well rounded in the end and I understand now why it is dragged out,
The world that this author created is so structured and detailed that I am hooked.
This was a good read, however, long for my taste as a new reader of this author
If you are new to fantasy you will find this a hard read it doesn’t pick up right away but my recommendation is keep going if you start.
It has a mysterious twist that was very unexpected and I am sure there is more to this story.

Nite Fire: Flash Point by C. L. Schneider – Review by Corine Lombardi

Flash Point (Nite Fire, #1)Flash Point by C.L. Schneider
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is one of the longest books I ever read but I was not putting it down.
This is the female lead I love.
An assassin, half human half dragon…..yes I said dragon.
I am a fiend for fantasy and this is the exact story that everyone should read.
This is one of the most original stories I have ever read.
This story will completely suck you in.
As a series fanatic where is book two I don’t even want to wait.
With no other choice the lead lands on earth and one moment a killer, next a savior seeking redemption.
What can go wrong when you have an independent woman fighting crime?
The world building is everything and the imagery has you hooked.
Five stars all the way around.

I am always up for a random erotic read, this is a different level.
This was a great underlining plot the romance was very intoxicating.
This author created character development and a very enjoyable read.
I look forward to reading more of this author.
This is a quick, hot romance.
We have all heard of the boy next door, and now we get a steamy girl next door with a past.
It didn’t pick up for me right away however, when it got started I finished before I could blink.
This author is very creative with the erotic scenery.
I give this four stars.
This was a new trope for me. BDSM.
Like the song goes, sticks and stones may break my bones but chains and whips excite me.

The Box: A Greek Gods Urban Fantasy Romance (Her Three Immortals Book 4)The Box: A Greek Gods Urban Fantasy Romance by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Book four is the best book yet!
Addicted to anything mythology, my most anticipated read of the year and it was AMAZING!
This series is one of the best ever.
And if you are having problems with your mother in law, hold tight Vanessa will show you the way.
This is a sexy fun read and we have characters to die for.
Picking up from book three, I didn’t put it down at all.
What is in the box, what is the next adventure?
All questions answered!
The ending is living in my mind rent free this series is complete and I will reread it over and over again.
This author took a strong female, threw in some gods with a perfect twist on the mythology we love!
Book four was the best.
I would appreciate a prequel to know all about the men that make this series classical.

Yesssssss……. I waited very patiently for this read and I was not disappointed.
All the right romance with just a bit of humor.
Kat and Phillip are relationship goals.
As a series fanatic I love that this continues the story from book one.
This is not a standalone, read book one.
How long would you wait for your soulmate?
I never thought I could love time travel so much.
I loved book one, this is even better.
This author sucks you into the romance to the point that you root for it to be successful.
The suspense is unreal, you think you know what is going to happen and then it keeps building until boom!
The climax had me speechless.
Five stars across the board.
Thanks to this author for another amazing love story.
This is a must read!

Blood Oath (Mafia Elite, book 2) by Amy McKinley – Review by Corine Lombardi

Blood Oath (Mafia Elite, #2)Blood Oath by Amy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I wasn’t a huge fan of this book.
I enjoyed it as a quick read but it wasn’t my favorite.
There is a character named Enzo that you will fall in love with.
I do enjoy multiple stories within the same scenario or world.
Can’t go wrong with a popular trope.
This story didn’t exactly pick up where it left off from book one, this focuses on new characters new points of view.
Luckily, you do not need to read book one if you haven’t already.
The romance and adventure pushes you through the read.
I am gonna give this four stars because it is good but I won’t reread.
The author does exactly what you would think by continuing the elite world of the mafia;
however, I feel this is more of a stand-alone then part of a series.

This was a very quick easy read that had me captivated from the very beginning.
This was a new trope for me with Male and Male romance.
This story became a journey and acceptance of death to me and it played out beautifully.
The romance in this story is intoxicating and I wish it was longer.
What would you leave behind in death?
Story of love, and acceptance.
It was very refreshing to read of a shifter plot and romance.
The world that this author has created has you deep diving deeper and deeper you read.
I hope there are stories created for each character individually because this story has me attached and ready to explore their world.
You can’t go wrong with this read it’s quick and inviting.
Five stars with hopes of more to come.

Broken ChainsBroken Chains by Karina Kantas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*****Trigger Warning*****

This is a very dramatic read it is so detailed that it became a little hard to finish but I did and it was amazing.
This book is an adventure from the very beginning.
Always dependable when it starts in a coffee shop.
Steamy is an understatement and there is violence.
We have a female lead and she goes through the battle of life and love.
Will she ever be safe or happy that’s the question.
Im not giving it away but it is ACTION packed.
Each chapter introduces a new point of view or situation and we go deeper into the web of lies secrets and violence.
This book is five stars it was hard to read because of the content but if you can handle sex and violence you will love this beauty.
This is my first time reading this author and they are good.

If you thought book one was good, this is better!
There is now hope, how is it possible?
In a time of pain and heartache, this author rips you back into this world with Julia and Derek and doesn’t disappoint.
Freedom.
This was an easy read if you have the time your done before you know it asking for more.
If I didn’t know any better I would think this world was real.
The characters become a part of you and you just want to escape into this book and hold them tight.
Derek is my favorite and he is truly a leading man.
Five stars all the way around, can’t wait for book three.
This is giving you adventure, chaos & romance with cover art that is so enticing you want to read it to find out the story.

Now this is the book I think I may have been waiting for.
This gave me evil Charmed Ones vibes.
Death always has a chance of bringing up family secrets but how deep have they been buried.
This is an intense read in the best way.
The Rowans give a story that starts from page one and no I did not put it down.
This is series worthy because I want back stories ad I need more.
Nash has did this story justice with the magic and the crimes, the trauma that made me stop for a second and cry.

This was a fun, easy story of romance. Keep in mind I end this as a stand alone although it is book two of a series.
I found a new book beau Luke who is deeply described as a green eyed beauty.
Luke hopes that a feisty and independent Nadia will love him although she I hard to get.
The plot made it easy to keep reading and Williams does a great way of making you fall in love with her characters.
It all starts with a fixer upper and I as hooked from the first page.
If your looking to get out of a reading slump read this series.
Four stars and I am interested in book three.

The world that is known is dying and there are challenges and quests that will ensure survival.
Now in parts you will want to close your eyes and take a second cause it gets creepy.
This gave me Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secret vibes.
I would recommend this as a perfect read on a cold and rainy night.
It did not disappoint I liked fantasy but now I love it.

The Girl and the Demon
By: Pauline Gruber
Genre: Young Adult/ Paranormal Suspense

This was a hard read for me as this is the only book I read in this series and it is the final book of this trilogy.
This book was good it has a popular trope that keeps you reading.
This book I feel leaves many questions left unanswered about some characters or Gruber may have a knack with character development that you don’t want their story to end.
Great writing and well developed.
The demons and witches and gargoyles is a nice twist.
There are twists and turns that had me taking an extra breath and reread a page as if I missed something.
I always appreciate a strong female protagonist, read book one and two first because I believe if I did Lucy would be hands down a favorite character of mine.
Girl that is half demon half witch how can that possibly go wrong?
Four stars this was very enjoyable.

Where oh where is book four?! This book was so good I enjoyed books two and three the most but I have to say this is a very enjoyable series. The bow is steamy and romantic and not for children.
I will always be a Grey and Vanessa fan, such an innocent soul Vanessa is a character favorite and an amazing female protagonist.
Why did the book end like that though?!

After reading the first book ( The Don ), it ends in a cliff hanger and this book answered all my questions for that book. This also ends in a cliff hanger but I love love love Grey & Vanessa.
You ever wonder how a sex dream would be if you were dead?!
Hazel Storm definitely has a hit with this series I prefer this book over book 1 but as a series fanatic I would recommend that you read book one.
This read gets five stars it is very well developed and descriptive and captivating and it has you rooting for love but who do you want Vanessa with.
This read brings a bit of humor that I enjoyed it was thrown in at just the right moments.

The Don ( Her Three Immortals Book 1)

I am obsessed with mythology and this read put a cute little love square twist on it so to speak.
We have Vanessa as our protagonist who risks it all for her little brother Piper.
How much is your soul worth?!
Now luckily this is a book one of the series and once you are done you can jump into book two because I will say Hazel Storm will have you angry at the cliffhanger ending.
It is worth it, the overall story could have been developed just a bit stronger but again it is a series so it is okay.
Four stars and you will want to complete the series.
I wish there was more of a backstory on the gods themselves especially Grey who you will come to describe all the men in this read as sexy and captivating.
Just enough tease and build on the romance that has you rooting for love.

This book was a good read, the first few chapters suck you in and then it hits a bit of a plateau.
The story is overall rounded to complete its POV however the plot seems a bit scattered.
This story focuses much on life lessons by highlighting realistic points that keep you engrossed in the read.
This book is the definition of don’t judge a book by its cover, the story is not so much Raven Woman’s Tavern even though that is a point imperative to the main characters story.
If you are interested in unanswered questions or a cliff hanger then yes you will not be disappointed.
This story was open and shut, easy and enticing I wish it had a bit more direction.
What does the future hold for humankind?
A story with adventurous danger with a realistic twist.
This is a four-star read worth the thought of the possible future.

Yes, this book is 100% 5 Stars. This book picks up right where book 1 left off.
I love that we get the story from more then one POV and the story line of even the secondary characters are so detailed that you become part of the world both vampire and Lycan.
Are you team vampire or werewolf?
The war rages on (in the background) of this amazing love story that you just need to keep reading.
It Robertson has a way of drawing you into this book a bit better then the last. Book one is BOOM right into the adventure, this story has more of a journey and once you’re in the thick of it believe me you will not put it down.
Mini romances going on that I am rooting for!
It is a story, a series that I recommend like I have said I sense a timely story that brings the idea of vampire and Lycan love to life.
You cannot go wrong with suspense, romance a touch of war with overall love.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a MUST read! This author has you hooked before you turn the first page.

The title is understatement of the year, A Divided Mind is a novel that encapsulates you in the world of mental health & denial that has you asking for more, more and more.

Trigger warning: be prepared, this book is a mental and emotional roller coaster that in the end proves how strong family and a mother’s love truly is.

How many “real” friends do you have?

Billiter has the right idea, engrossing us into the mind of a teenage boy named Branson.

Five stars to the detail within the words that transports you into every scene as if you are not reading but watching the book play out live.

A Divided Mind keeps you searching for the answer, wondering did I miss something? It is an OMG driven book that you cannot put down.

This book is what everyone needs in their collection, it highlights real issues perfectly wrapped into the world of fiction.
