Murder a la Christie is Book 1 in the Golden Age of Mystery Bookclub series and if you enjoy a cozy mystery of who done it….I would recommend this book. This was a fun read trying to figure out whom may have been responsible for these murders and putting the pieces to the mysterious puzzle together to find out. Something suspicious is going on…

Purrfectly Framed is the second book in A Mobile Cat Groomer Mystery Series. This is a Cozy Mystery that will have you turning the pages till the end. This is a fast paced story with the whodunnit feel. Once again The Mobile Cat Groomer Molly finds herself in a situation where she’s now doing a murder investigation. She had photos taken of her furry friends and these photos revealed more than what she ever expected. While looking for clues it seems whoever did it doesn’t want to be discovered. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author

Murder By Moonlight is the first book in the Felines of Fairytale Forest series by K.L Montgomery. This is, again, something new and a little different to what Ms. Montgomery has done in the past …. and I was all for this great little cute cozy mystery adventure. As expected from Ms. Montgomery, this is a well-woven, fun, and intriguing (whodunnit) mystery that is set against the backdrop of ‘Fairytale Forest’, an amusement park that becomes the scene of a murder. Park custodian Catherine (Cat) becomes top suspect, and the fate of the park then hangs in the balance. So, Cat, along with her friend Gloria, and a colony of feral cats who are led by Zoe- get together to solve the mystery, redeem Cat’s reputation, and save the park. This was such a fun cozy mystery that kept me engrossed the whole way through. It’s a fantastic start to a wonderful new series- and I can’t wait for book #2. Happy Reading…

This is the first book I’ve read by this author as well as the first book in the Felines of Fairytale Forest series. I was pleasantly surprised at the quirkiness of the story and found myself smiling several times throughout. It is unique and very original which was quite refreshing. Even though this is a bit over 250 pages, I blew right through it as the story flows so nicely. The character development is wonderful, and the world-building is vivid. I highly recommend picking this up if you’re looking for a cozy mystery to curl up with on your weekend. I’m very much looking forward to the next book in this fun feline series!

I thoroughly enjoyed this first book in the Felines of Fairytale Forest series. If you’re looking for a different sort of cozy mystery, this one’s for you. Cat and Gloria, night shift custodians at the park discover a body with the help of Zoe, the leader of one of the parks cat clowders. Cat teams up with Zoe and the rest of the cats to help solve the case. Gloria is such a fun addition to the story as the perfect sidekick. Will they be able to solve the case and keep the park open?

A new cozy mystery series by K.L. Montgomery. This is a wonderful story full of mystery and it even kept me guessing all the way up until the murderer was revealed. The way the characters, both human and feline interacted with each other was wonderful. I love all the little twists and turns. This is really two stories in one. There is the human murder and then there is a conflict going on in the feline community as well. Wonderfully written and I am already hoping book 2 will be out soon.

What a fun Cozy Mystery! I loved this cozy mystery from the start. I read this all in one sitting. I loved everything about this book. I really enjoyed the fun cast of characters. The mystery was a bit complex and kept me guessing. There was so many pieces to the puzzle it was certainly entertaining. I couldn’t put it down and ended up spending my day cozied up to this book. A must read for cozy mystery fans, especially if you love Agatha Christie.

Murder by Moonlight is the first book in the Felines of Fairytale Forest cozy mystery series. Fairytale Forest adventure park is a fun place, but a murder might just change all that. This cozy mystery has talking cats well she can talk to one human. But the news to tell sure isn’t good. It’s a murder right in their beloved adventure park. Leaving nothing to chance they decide to act. They gather pieces together to bring down a killer to prove their friends and not the furry four-legged kind’s innocence. Journey along as they try to figure out who had the motivation and opportunity to commit the deadly deed. This cute tale takes you on an adventure of the kind you have not read before. I enjoy reading K.L.’s tales they are fun, a little quirky, a little dangerous but they always make me laugh.

Murder ala Christie is the first book in the Golden Age of Mystery book club. There are a lot of characters in this book, but the author did a good job of developing them and I was able to mostly keep them straight. The theme follows a book club, where the members start dropping like flies. The leader of the club is English professor Lexie Driscoll, who takes it upon herself to help investigate the murders. I liked the main character and look forward to reading the next book in the series. I want to see what happens with Lexie and Alistar and Detective Donovan. It wrapped up nicely and maintained the mystery until the end. I don’t have any knowledge or experience with Agatha Christie books, so can’t speak to the accuracy of the comparisons to her books.

This is a book by an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up by them. I enjoy their writing style that brings their characters to life on every page. Their attention to details make their story realistic and hard to put down. This book is no different. It is a well written story that is a cozy mystery that takes place at an amusement park. What will happen when one custodian is found dead and another is at the top of the suspect list? Will Cat and her furry friends find the killer and clear her name? I enjoyed how I was pulled into the story from the start by the characters. They are connectable, fun and just added to the entertainment of the story. They have great growth throughout which made the story easy to read. This is a fast paced, hard to put down mystery and one you don’t want to miss. I enjoy this author and their books. I highly recommend this book.

Cute book! It was a nice cozy mystery and follow up to the first book. This can be read as a standalone. It’s fun with a well thought mystery. I enjoyed the characters and obviously the cats. I would read more by this author.

What a fun start to a new series. I’m in love with this one. The story is entertaining. This author has such a fantastic way of writing. She hooks you in write from the beginnning and you don’t want to leave. You want to know what the kitties are finding clue wise. Someone has to help Catherine. This book is a great tribute to Agatha Christie and provides an entertaining murder mystery story. I really connected with the characters of this book and for me, they are entirely what it is about. I loved watching them try to figure everything out and all of the references back to such a classic murder series. The author has a great way of telling the story, of allowing it to develop in a way that seems so natural. I found the whole story to be intriguing and enjoyed trying to work out what was going on. The book caught my attention easily and held it right to the end. This is a story definitely worth reading.

Rosie talks her friend Lexie into hosting a murder mystery book club. She agrees and they decide to read a few books by Agatha Christie to start. She prepares what she wants to say at the club and is looking forward to. Then the night of the first meeting her best friend Sylvia is murdered.
The Sheriff and everyone knows that Sylvia has a heart condition so they think it was a natural death. Lexie feels that Sylvia was murdered and expresses her concern to the Sheriff. Everyone in the club is upset with Lexie because she thinks one of them did it.
I enjoyed reading this book but not sure if I want to join any book clubs in the process. Check out the story I think you will enjoy it as much as I did.

Sparky of Bunker Hill is back along with the crazy cast from the Creepy House mansion. This fun cosy mystery is an historical tale is set in the 1930’s in the Great Depression era. Monkey Island Murder is full of chills, thrills, mayhem and laughter. What lengths would you go to, to help a friend? Sparky our amateur sleuth is willing to do anything to help her friend and Boss who has been implicated in a murder. She sets about to prove his innocence but in doing so she has to wade through many twists and turns and ups and downs to get there. Unfortunately for street-smart Sparky trouble is her middle name. She is one character that you will fall In love with. Rosalind’s narrative lends to a vivid insight of the times and troubles of Sparky’s world. I enjoyed the wit and banter infused in the story. Dig into the mayhem and madness.

The Golden Age of Mystery Bookclub was started by Professor Lexie Driscoll to discuss Agatha Christie’s murder mysteries. During the first meeting Lexies friend is murdered. Now she must find the killer. Lexie has known all the members of the book club for several years so it’s hard to believe one of them is the murderer. I enjoyed the writing and pacing of the story and the conclusion was satisfying. The clues are there for the reader to determine the killer before the end. Unfortunately, I did not find any of the characters likable due to most of them being rich and fake women of society. Thus, it was easy for me to suspect all of them of the crime. Overall, I enjoyed reading this murder mystery with the twists and turns and found the parallel with Christie’s books made it engaging.

I’m not a cat person. I kind of like them, but I’m allergic to cats. I like to pet them, and I like when they purr. I liked reading a book with little cat detectives. They should get representation, and start a detective agency! The kitten antics are adorable. The human characters are entertaining as well. These are the kinds of people you find around you- whether it is in a small town or a social circle in a bigger city.

Hartman’s writing is engaging and witty, with a great sense of humor. The characters are well-developed and relatable, making it easy to become invested in their lives. Molly’s passion for her work as a cat groomer shines through, and her interactions with her feline clients are adorable.

If you’re a Christie fan you’re either going live this or hate this …. I LOVED it ! I’m a die hard Christie fan so I was a little nervous at first but despite not always liking Lexie I like the “tribute “ to her characters , if you read the book you’ll understand what I’m saying 😉
Chapter one already had me because I could just see the scene unfolding in my minds eye I could even hear Gerda’s German accent !
The Golden Age of Mystery Book as started up and Lexie was asked to lead it and it started with a little drama between the girls but all calms down and bookclub starts ❣️📚
Sylvia takes ill and everyone is worried but she reassures everyone she’s ok unti she’s not Lowell storms into the library , panicked and Sylvia is declared dead 🙈but she wasn’t the first to die and nor would she be the last ….
I must admit I loved the backround we get some of the details regarding Christie and others of that writing era I knew and some of it was new so that was a big tick for me ❣️📚 I loved the interaction between the characters and their quirky natures , an enjoyable easy , fun read ❣️📚

This is the first book in The Golden Age of Mystery Book club series. A great cozy fast paced mystery that had me hooked right away. If you like Agatha Christie books you are definitely in for a treat. The characters are very interesting and well written. Secrets, drama, politics and danger are just a few examples of what you have in store to keep you as hooked as it did me. Definitely give this mystery a try you won’t be disappointed.

Molly Stewart owns a cat grooming business with a mobile grooming van. Upon trying to return one of her feline clients to his owner, she finds his owner deceased. The deceased is in the garden and has died due to the use of a left handed gardening implement. Molly decides she needs to find out who has done this to one of her customers. This book is filled with great characters both human and feline. I look forward to reading the next book in the series!!

When someone threatens Evan and the pets, Molly decides an investigation is needed. A body is found in the darkroom of Molly’s friend Evan and that is when it all begins. Evan owns a photographer studio and Molly is the local mobile cat groomer. Together they make quite a team. Loved this second book in this series!!

An enjoyable and engaging cozy mystery with a real Agatha Christie feel to it which kept me hooked throughout. Professor Lexie Driscoll is looking forward to hosting the first meeting of the ‘Golden Age of Mystery Bookclub’ in a swanky mansion belonging to her best friend, and sharing her love of Agatha Christie. Proceedings take a sinister turn when a friend is murdered and as more members of the new book club are killed, Lexie must use all the knowledge she has learnt from reading Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot solving mysteries into action. As she discovers many secrets she starts to believe she is in Christie’s novel, “And Then There Were None,” Lexie must reveal the killer and save her club. I thoroughly enjoyed this murder mystery and liked amateur sleuth Lexie as the main character and thought all the quirky characters added to the story. The intriguing storyline featuring a bookclub for lovers of the ‘Golden Age of Mystery’ had me happily turning the pages. Whilst the plot twists and red herrings kept me guessing as to the outcome of the story. I look forward to returning to the bookclub in book two soon and wish I could join the bookclub in ‘real life’!

This is the first book I’ve read by Marilyn Levinson. I enjoyed the Mystery Bookclub theme (though the questions and flow of her bookclub puts any bookclub I’ve ever been in to shame! I took notes!) and especially loved the entire theme of using Agatha Christie’s mysteries as the basis and flow for the book. The back stories of the characters was fun as well, and I expect as there are more Golden Age of Mystery Bookclub books we’ll continue to learn even more about the characters and their stories. This was a pretty quick and easy read, Levinson kept the story moving along and created a number of “whodunit” scenarios. Definitely a fun read!
