Hazard in Hawaii (A Doctor Danger Mystery Book 1)Hazard in Hawaii by Heather Silvio
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This was a pretty interesting read. Since the book was short, the action was fast moving which I appreciated as I believe that if the book was longer, it would have been drawn out. I enjoyed the supernatural hook into the Hawaiian culture. I would be interested to read others in the Doctor Danger series to see other links to culture and the supernatural in other places. Overall, the plot made sense, the story was engaging and I would definitely read more in the series.

I enjoyed reading this book from start to finish and I hope that it is the first in a long line of books by Heather. Sarah is a great character and you feel like you are right there along for the ride the whole time you are reading. I especially enjoyed the Hawaiian culture and history that was incorporated in the book. I will be on the look out for more books by this author.

Dangerous Curves Boxed Set #1 (Dangerous Curves Books 1-3) by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Ashley Dover

Dangerous Curves Boxed Set 1: 3 Cozy Christian MysteriesDangerous Curves Boxed Set 1: 3 Cozy Christian Mysteries by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sunshine Baker is the young adult librarian in Bryce Beach. She loves books, but she has discovered that she has a knack for amateur sleuthing.

Betrayal at the Beach
In the first installment of the Dangerous Curves series, Sunshine organizes the Friends of the Library Gala with the help of the committee. The gala is especially prosperous with nearly one hundred thousand dollars. With funds for the library depleting, raising this money was important to Sunshine and her fellow librarians keeping their jobs. Unfortunately, the money goes missing during the major announcement at the same time the cherished bible of the town’s founder disappears. Sunshine and her fellow librarians, Molly and Evangeline, turn on their sleuthing caps to try to solve the mystery and save their jobs.

Mystery at the Marina
Not long after solving the theft at the library, Molly and Sunshine are walking on the beach when they come upon a group of dead fish. During the course of the next few days, larger fish, horseshoe crabs, and even a small whale wash up on the beach. Sunshine knows there is something going on that is causing the fish to die on their beach. After checking in with the chief of police, Sunshine starts her own investigation learning that the test results from the dead fish have disappeared. Sunshine finds that this mystery takes her into the port area several times interacting with the fisherman. During her trips, she notices that the Coast Guard has been around the bay at Bryce Beach more frequently than normal. Solving this fishy mystery is so important to Sunshine that she finds herself in a harrowing situation. Can Sunshine solve the case before she loses her life?

Shooting at the Shore
Sunshine has had a very successful summer with her young adult program. So successful that she has an awards ceremony to highlight the achievement of her teenage patrons. She speaks with Mrs. Willa Bryce Monroe, the town’s matriarch, and a huge supporter of her library programs including one of the prizes handed out at the ceremony. Mrs. Monroe speaks of the “riffraff” that has moved into Bryce Beach. She tells Sunshine that she will make sure that the town council understands that Bryce Beach is a family place and not a place for a “house of ill repute” (a restaurant with scantily clad waitresses). On Tuesday, Tom, the reference librarian, mentions that Mrs. Monroe wasn’t at the council meeting which concerns Sunshine. She debates going to check on Mrs. Monroe when a teenage boy attempts to steal the wish box money that is associated with the town bible. The police show up and catch the boy when they get a dead body call. Sunshine knows in her heart that it’s Mrs. Monroe which she confirms. She knows that she has stepped into another mystery and sets her sights on solving Mrs. Monroe’s murder.

Dangerous Curves Boxed Set #1 (Dangerous Curves Books 1-3) by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Samantha Bassett
I love this series and I had no idea I liked cozy mysteries but now I am hooked and can’t wait to read the next book. K.L. Montomery is a great writer and doesn’t feel the need to make the main character have a love interest, this is something I enjoy in a book. I love a story with a strong woman who doesn’t feel the need to have a significant other.
Sunshine Baker is working at the library in Bryce Beach, which is a small seaside town. She figures out that she is very good at solving mysteries with her friends. The police chief is not thrilled with this in the beginning but learns to live with it and knows that Sunshine and her friends can actually help him out. This leads to some very precarious positions and many twists and turns. There may be moments when you think you have it all figured out and then something else comes up.

Dangerous Curves, Box Set 1 by K.L. Montgomery was a quick and entertaining read. The books follow Sunshine Baker, the young adult librarian at the Bryce Beach public library while she solves mysteries that pop up within her town. Much to the chagrin of the Chief of police, she finds herself enjoying the solving of mysteries and takes each mystery on as her personal responsibility even being told to leave it to the police. The twists and turns K.L. Montgomery takes will keep you wanting more. Excited for more mysteries that Sunshine partakes in.

Dangerous Curves Boxed Set 1 contains 3 Cozy Christian Mysteries by K.L. Montgomery

I actually read book one, Betrayal at the Beach, before I even knew it was part of a boxed set. I loved the story so much, I got the box set as soon as I found it!

These mysteries are light hearted and utterly perfect. To read these stories, is to be plopped right in the middle of Sunshine’s small town. You get to know the characters, and fall in love with all their little quirks.

The books included in the set are as follows: Betrayal at the Beach, Mystery at the Marina and Shooting at the Shore.

Betrayal at the Beach introduces us to Sunshine while she is trying to figure out who stole a famous town artifact and the money she raised from the Gala to fund the library.

Mystery at the Marina follows Sunshine on a sea adventure when several animals wind up dead on the shore. With more secrets than Sunshine can handle, how does she protect herself?

The final installment in the set is Shooting at the Shore. This is almost what I would consider the “most intense” story of them all. When Sunshine is the last person to have talked to the victim, things get a little hairy. Can Sunshine figure out what has happened before it is too late?

Boy Released by JD Spero. First off wow just wow. I knew I’d probably like this book since book one was great but I didn’t just like it I loved it. This author knows how to write a story that gripped me from the get go. Not once did I feel like this story needed anything. I do recommend you reading these in order. This one takes place several years after book 1 but it’s a very well done transition. The characters are complex and pull you so completely into their story that I forgot time all together. The storyline is one of the best I’ve read this yea. I couldn’t put this book down and I’m thankful to not only find this book but this author. Five huge stars and highly recommended!

I don’t know if I can pick a favorite out of this set, but all I know is I can’t wait to read the other books in this series! These books can also be read as standalones. Or at least I took it that anyway.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was my first time reading K.L. Montgomery’s work, and I am glad I did!
‘Dangerous Curves’ is a box set of three novellas, all taking place in the sleepy town of Bryce Beach. Readers are introduced to main characters that continue through the series-centering on Sunshine Baker-a curvy, Christian, YA librarian. Sunshine and her friends are put up against robberies, unexplainable dead sea creatures washing up onto the shore, and classic ‘who dun it’ murder. Montgomery’s stories are as easy to enjoy as they are to read, and although the main character is Christian, it did not feel like a pushy theme.
My favourite thing about all three of these novellas is how relatable and adorable the characters were. This is an excellent set to take to on vacation to the cabin.

A feel-good collection of mysteries that remind me of “Murder She Wrote”. Sunshine Baker seems to be able to unravel clues that no one else can, solving mysteries with her young friends, her sharp wit and her faith. She hates her name and can’t bake to save her life but mysteries are no problem for this amateur sleuth. You’ll meet her family and friends thoroughly the set and each play a part in helping her solve the mysteries. Sunshine starts by solving a missing donations crime, followed a dead sea life crime and then a dead body floats up into shore! She’s also trying to figure out who her secret admirer is throughout the set!

Dangerous Curves Boxed Set #1 (Dangerous Curves Books 1-3) by K.L. Montgomery Is simply one of the most amazing series that I have ever read. Ms. Montgomery gives us fantastic plot lines, amazing characters, and beautiful scenery. However my personal favorite is the fact that the main heroines are librarians! Everyone expects Sunshine and her friends to be just quiet librarians but once you start book 1 Betrayal at the Beach you will quickly learn that these girls are not your average librarians. Book 1 was so amazing that I finished it in one sitting and couldn’t wait to start book 2 Mystery at the Marina. In book two Ms. Montgomery provides us with yet another cozy mystery with lots of twists and turns, and so many secrets that you won’t be able to wait to see what happens next. Finally after devouring the first two books I got my hands on book three Shooting at the Shore, which is personally my favorite out of all three books. But the question is will Sunshine and her friends be able to figure out the clues in time to solve the mystery, you’ll just have to read this cozy mystery to find out for yourself.

JD Spero tells a story unlike anyone else. This second book picks up 10 years later with the picture of hope and happiness for the Trout family. Ty has come home from the hospital and Hen is now 17 working at his mothers motel. As you think that they are turning a corner tragedy strikes yet again. This book continues to battle hard issues and the struggles with life after a tragic event. Mental health issues still play a large role, and the questions about if you can move on and live a normal existence when things like this occur. Ty and Hen still pull at your heart strings each chapter. Hard questions are asked, and this book ends in a way that you wont be disappointed.

I love this cozy mystery Christian series of books! These books are clean and so much fun to read. In book 1, you first meet Sunshine Baker. She is a librarian whom tries to find out who is taking money and a very valuable bible. She also has great friends whom all help and try to find the culprit. In book 2, there is something happening in the water at Bryce Cove. The mystery of animal life coming up dead…fish, jellyfish and also a small whale. When samples of the dead marine life are sent to a lab to see why they died, the information is going missing from the databases. Who is erasing the data and why is marine animals coming up dead? Everyone is looking for Sunshine to try and figure out this mystery. Book 3 there is a murder to solve! There was not a murder in Bryce Cove for so many years. A body washes onshore and Sunshine and the gang try and solve this mystery. This set of books are truly awesome. I cannot wait to continue the series.

Betrayal at the Beach.

Sunshine Baker work in the Bryce Beach Public Library as a YA and she has been working with the Friends of the Library Committee to organise and throw their yearly Gala to raise funds for the library, as well as her role at the library itself and has been enjoying every minute of it and as the night of the gala arrives, she is hoping that everything will go well and that the invitees will enjoy the evening. From the start it looks like everyone is having fun and the catering, magician act and music are keeping everyone entertained, when the food is served and she finds out that she has to make the first speech and introductions, she is terrified, but manages to get through it and the rest of the evening inscathed, that is until after they have counted the donations and are presenting the total to the audience when there is a crashing of glass and a scream where the crowd is shocked into panic. The Founding Fathers Bible, a priceless artifact has been stolen and when Sunshine goes to check on the donations in the locked room, she is devastated to find out that they have been stolen too.

The police are called and statements are made, but when she arrives at work on the Monday morning, the Chief of Police is there to see her and ask her some questions, however, she is surprised to find out that they suspect one of the employees and that they need the information of all who had access to the room that the donations were being kept in, whether they were at the Gala or not. This has Sunshine worrying and this is increased even more when she goes to see the head of the Library and is asked for her opinion and then to look into it in her own time as well. This spurs her onto asking questions of her friends Evangeline and Molly, drawing up a list of attendees and talking through the events of the night again, but all this does is throw suspicion around with no strong leads bar one, so the next day Molly and Sunshine make plans to talk to them, but in a non-threatening way to try and glean some more information from them about that night. As these conversations take place, more tidbits and accusations are thrown around which are making Sunshine feel even more uncomfortable as they are mostly pointing towards one of her friends and another colleague as the police appear to be less than interested.

As the stakes are raised and jobs are on the line, will Sunshine and her amateur sleuthing skills solve the mystery before jobs and a priceless artefact are lost forever? This is a cozy mystery which will keep you guessing through to the end as the hunt for answers throws light upon a small community with secrets and stories to tell.

Mystery at the Marina.

Sunshine Baker is back and she is still the full YA librarian at the Bryce Beach Public Library and she is still coming down from all the excitement around the founders bible and the theft of the donations a month ago, but she is happy and is spending time with her family, friends and God. As her summer programmes at the library are starting up and the teenagers are actually attending and not falling asleep during them, she counts that as an achievement, so when she closes up for the day, she is ready for an evening of fun with her friends, they are going to a new restaurant which hasn’t long opened and she is really excited, however, she is not sure how she has managed to get there before her friends, even though they left the same place at the same time!

While she is waiting outside the restaurant, she is people watching and happens to hear a conversation between two gentlemen clad in business suits and heading out of the restaurant, she thinks the subject is a bit odd, but thinks no more about it until a couple of days later when she goes for a walk on the beach with one of her friends and their new puppy. As the are walking and chatting away while the puppy explores the area near the lighthouse, they suddenly come across some dead fish washed up on the beach, but they soon find out that it isn’t just near there, it happened over at the Marina side of the cove as well and there are other sea creatures involved this time too. Sunshine cannot help but be curious about the reasoning behind it, so she starts asking questions, however, the police aren’t being helpful, so again, Sunshine takes matters into her own hands.

Sunshine’s investigative tendencies turn up a gear when she starts to see more Coast Guard boats patrolling the area than normal and does her best to see what is happening close up, but as she starts to put things together and the pieces of the puzzle start to fall into place, will she be able to figure out why the sea creatures are dying and who is behind it all? This is a cozy mystery where there are twists, turns, secrets and revelations which you will want hook you in and keep you enthralled until it is solved.

Shooting at the Shore.

Sunshine Baker returns and her library programme is taking off, she even hosted an awards ceremony for the attendees where local people and businesses donated prizes to the winners and everyone had a whale of a time, so she is enjoying life. As she is leaving the library after closing up, she spots a neighbour who donated and prize and funds to the library, so Sunshine wanted to thank her personally, but when she goes to see her, she is surprised by what she is talking about, apparently an outside company is bidding on a piece of land to open some shops, condo’s and restaurants, however, one of them is something which in her eyes, is not family friendly, so she is vehemently opposed to it and intends on outbidding the big city developers. Meanwhile, the ladies witness a crime in progress across the road where Sunshine spots a police officer on a bike and sends them after the criminal before heading home for a girls night where they catch up on the latest gossip and events in each others lives.

At work the next day, another crime is committed in the library of all places and Sunshine quickly gives chase, but fortunately, the police arrive to apprehend the criminal instead, however, when a call comes in over the radio, Sunshine immediately gets the feeling that she needs to be there, so she follows the police on their way over and observes them pulling a body onto a stretcher and it is someone she knows. When she finds out the circumstances of their death, she knows something isn’t quite adding up, especially when she starts to do some research.

As the days pass and Sunshine investigates more while sharing what she has found with the chief of police, she cannot help but think that they are on the wrong track with their investigation and as she digs deeper, this gut feeling becomes stronger and stronger. Will Sunshine be able to solve the mystery and figure out the who, what, where and why of this crime, or the leads she is hoping to follow lead to dead ends? This is another cozy mystery where secrets are revealed and tangled pasts are brought into the present as this small town reels from the death within its borders, while you try and figure out the conclusion to the mystery at the same time as this amateur sleuth.

Dangerous Curves Boxed Set #1 (Dangerous Curves Books 1-3) by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Jennifer Gordon

Dangerous Curves Boxed Set 1: 3 Cozy Christian MysteriesDangerous Curves Boxed Set 1: 3 Cozy Christian Mysteries by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I thoroughly enjoyed this engaging boxed set containing the first three books of the cozy Christian mystery series, ‘Dangerous Curves’. I love the main character YA librarian and amateur sleuth Sunshine Baker who works at the Bryce Beach Public Library. Sunshine jumps into action when there is a mystery to solve. The setting of the small town of Bryce Beach is really bought to life by the descriptive narrative. In the first book, ‘Betrayal at the Beach’ Sunshine is keen to discover the culprit when there is a theft at the library and has to consider that it may be one of her colleagues.

The storyline for ‘Mystery at the Marina’ involves Sunshine investigating when sea creatures turn up dead on Bryce Beach. During her sleuthing she discovers evidence that proves that one of Bryce Beach’s most prominent families are involved. The third book, ‘Shooting at the Shore’ involves a murder when a body washes up on the shore. Sunshine’s investigation looks at whether the recent talk of developments in their quiet coastal town is a motive. Along with Sunshine her colleagues, Molly and Evangeline help with the investigations and both bring different elements to the stories. I loved the relationship and dialogue between the fellow librarians.

I also love Sunshine and her catchphrase of “Jesus, take the wheel!”, she makes a great main character who really does bring the stories together. The plot twists in each story kept me guessing until the end and I was gripped by the storyline in all three books, finding that I could not put the books down. A great boxed set which I literally ‘binge read’ and I definitely recommend reading this series.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed these cosy Mysteries. They are easy to read and out librarian turned investigator Sunshine really brings them stories to live with her sweet but inquisitive nature once she has the bit between her teeth she doesn’t let go until the mystery is solved.
There are 3 books in this  boxset and each one is unique. All of the books can be read as a standalone however if you read them in order you get a better sense of the characters. Mainly our leading lady Sunshine.

All 3 mysteries  are cosy mysteries  which mean they are easy to read and don’t contain anything in them that could be offensive to readers. So if you like mysteries then they are ideal. These books are full of twists and turns and secrets that will be revealed.

Through the series we see Sunshine grown and become more confident in her ability as an investigator and its nice to see her confidence grow as she figures out and solves each case. I’m looking forward to reading more from this series.

Potager Plot: A Backyard Farming Mystery by Vicki Walton was a quick, easy to read book. It had so many different and interesting characters, which will make for more fun books in the future (I hope!). The mystery and plot twists had me guessing until the end. Dangerous Curves Boxed Set #1 (Dangerous Curves Books 1-3) by K.L. Montgomery Review by Jules Herbert

Dangerous Curves Boxed Set 1: 3 Cozy Christian MysteriesDangerous Curves Boxed Set 1: 3 Cozy Christian Mysteries by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Dangerous Curves Series presented in this box set is a truly wonderful read. Even though they are mysteries they left me feeling light hearted and happy. The characters created by K.L Montgomery are just gorgeous. Bryce Beach sounds like a beautiful community to be a part of, I know I’d love to live there as long as I had Sunshine for my bestie. There are great twists and turns in the stories and you really do feel like you are right there with the characters every step of the way. Ms Montgomery you have a new fan for sure. Now to tell you a little about each book without giving too much away!

In the first book, Betrayal at the Beach, we meet Sunshine Baker, a Young Adult Librarian at the Bryce Beach Library. When a valuable town artefact is stolen during a fundraising Gala Sunshine was in charge of organising, She can’t resist trying her best to figure out who stole it. With the help of her gorgeous friends especially her bestie Molly, Sunshine sets out to solve this mystery and make everything right again for the library even if Chief James wants her to stop meddling and stick to the library!

In the Second book , Mystery at the Marina, Sunshine is at it again! This time her curiosity is peaked and can’t be tamed when numerous sea life, fish, sharks and even a young whale, wash up on the beach having died mysteriously. She is determined to once again find the answers needed to set things right again in Bryce Beach but this time she really could be in serious danger. Secrets are everywhere and nothing is truly is as it seems. Poor Sunshine is again encouraged my Chief James to stick to her work at the library but I think deep down he just knows she isn’t going to do that LOL

In the third book, Shooting at the Shore, Sunshine becomes involved in the investigation of the death of a dearly loved community leader. She discovers a Memoir that may well uncover long buried family secrets. The big question is will this help or hinder her investigation? Once again her gorgeous friends at the library are there for her and Chief James seems to be mellowing.

5 ++++ Stars

These books will be sitting on my bookshelf, and I already can’t wait to start this series all over again!

Sunshine Baker has quickly become one of my favorite characters ever. She is everything I love. First she’s a librarian which I think would be an amazing way to spend my days, she works with her best friends which would just be an awesome added bonus, she has the quirkiest yet most loving parents, she lives in a small town which is always my preference, and she has turned into a bonafide adrenaline junkie who has decided to start solving cases in her small town. She seems to have a new admirer/fan that she needs to stay aware of, and she loves cats! I want to be this woman’s friend, her life is awesome!

I simply love this author, she always seems to reach through and touch me with her stories and her words. So far I would say you could read these as standalones but there is alot brought up that happened in the book/s before, and although you don’t absolutely need this information to appreciate the story, you would just get more satisfaction if you read them in order.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series, can’t wait to start book 4!

Boy Released was a really interesting read! This is the sequel to the novel Boy On Hold and this can be read as a standalone but it does make more sense and you get the whole back story if you read Boy On Hold first. This was very interesting as Tyler has schizophrenia and it was very interesting just reading inside his mind, and how it works and is wired differently. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one better than the first. I’m not sure why but this one just held my attention better and I flew through it. It was so quick to read and was enthralling all the way through. I really enjoyed this one and highly recommend it!

Potager Plot (A Backyard Farming Series, #5)Potager Plot by Vikki Walton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Potager Plot: A witty cozy mystery with a hint of romance by Vikki Walton is the fifth book in the A Backyard Farming Mystery series. I thought this was a really entertaining and fun book that kept my interest right to the end. This is the first book that I have read by this author and can absolutely say you do not need to have read the previous books to enjoy this one. I thought this was a fantastic way to be introduced to a new author. The writing style was one that help to add to the mystery but also kept the book feeling quite light hearted. I didn’t feel like I was bogged down in any details but was just able to enjoy the book as it was.
This was a great story and I will definitely be going back to add on the other books to the series.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

WOW! I wasn’t sure how Spero was going to meet my expectations after the first book. But I was so glad this book found its way into my hands. I was immediately immersed into the story line and transfixed by the movement of the plot. I love how Spero crafts her tales and keeps the reader guessing. If you love a good mystery and fantastic storytelling, this is a must read.

Dangerous Curves Boxed Set #1 (Dangerous Curves Books 1-3) by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Karen Pearman

Dangerous Curves Boxed Set 1: 3 Cozy Christian MysteriesDangerous Curves Boxed Set 1: 3 Cozy Christian Mysteries by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am a fan of this author and her other books, so I was excited to see that she had released a box set of this series. And I wasn’t disappointed. Just as with her other books, she is a wonderful writer and her descriptions have me feeling like I am watching the stories take place in front of me. I love those kinds of stories. And even more so when the stories take place in small coastal towns like the ones I vacation to in the summer. In fact, these books would be great reads while sitting on the shores of a beach. These are very clean stories of mystery and intrigue. That is the one thing I appreciated more than any other from this series. That not only are they mysteries, but they are told without all the guts and gore. Having these in a box set is so nice and is a great bang for your buck because you get 3 books together instead of individually.

Dangerous Curves Boxed Set #1 (Dangerous Curves Books 1-3) by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Barbara Stegall
This is my first time reading K.L Montgomery and all I can say is – where is by paycheck so I can get the other books! I love this Cosy Mystery set. The development of the characters over the three book set is awesome. Oh don’t forget the new character’s introduced – Puppy Love!! I sure hope Knox stays along for the ride. The first book surprised me with the items that went missing at the Gala. I was expecting one thing and was delited that I had not figured out that a second item would be taken. The second book got better loved following Sunshine being pulled in to the mysterious death of the marine life. I fell for the puppy – Puppy love for sure! To finish this box set (thank goodness it was a box set so I could binge! ) I’m loving the slow romance I see building between Sunshine and the Chief! If you have not read these yet I suggest you move these up on your TBR list right now! Great read – Fun read – So enjoyable – Characters grow as you read.

Book #1: Betrayal at the Beach

This was a breath for fresh air to read! Sunshine and her friends are wonderfully written Christian characters. The characters all had pluck, were realistic, and relatable. It was fun to try and guess who the real culprit of the theft was and in the end to be surprised! I look forward to book #2 and finding out who Sunshine’s admirer is. I have my suspicions…

Book #2 Mystery at the Marina

Oh man! I just LOVE Sunshine and her friends!! They make an amazing team of sleuths out to crack any mystery that comes up in Bryce Beach. My favorite part of these books, so far, is that these ladies are not afraid to branch out and try new things in order to solve a mystery. It’s like a grown up version of Nancy Drew with some prayer in there! I really thought Sunshine’s admirer would be revealed, but alas… there are 2 possibilities now!
I’m so glad there’s another book because I am really enjoying this series!

Book #3: Shooting at the Beach

Oh my heart… This book was a tad sad for me. I was sad to read who the victim was, but I was even more surprised to find out why! It took Sunshine and the whole team plus an unexpected addition to solve this one. What a mystery full of drama! We still don’t know who her admirer is, however, it is narrowed down to one! (Well, at least in my mind!) Since it isn’t apparent who it is, that must mean there will be more books!! Yay!!

These books are wholesome, witty and full of humor!

Dangerous Curves is such a fun read! It is a set of three stories about Sunshine Baker. Sunshine is a librarian in Bryce Beach. Each story in the set stands well alone. Sunshine is relatable and funny. You hear her thoughts and her struggles, struggles from her weight to baking to being a Christian. I recommend reading these sweet stories. It’s a great way to spend the day!

BOY RELEASED (BOY SERIES BOOK 2) by JD Spero. I am in love with these books. They are so very good and they tackle the real life problem of mental illness. Its so taboo to talk about Mental health so I am so happy to see someone write about it. This book picks up 10 years after the last book and after Tyler was convicted of murder. He has been living in a psychiatric ward and is being released out into the world again. Hen is about to receive an inheritance so she, Sally & Marcella are moving into the Blue Palms Motel which is her new baby (business). Not long after Tyler moves to the hotel someone is found dead and Tyler is the only witness. Of course shortly after the murder Tyler becomes their prime suspect and Marcella is involved as well. Will they be able to prove Tyler is innocent or is he really a murderer that will continue to commit crimes? Read Boy Released you won’t be disappointed!
