This is a series that I have enjoyed reading from the start. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series as well. One of the things I enjoy most about this author is her ability to pull me into her stories. She uses details to make the story feel realistic. This book is no different. Madeline is back for another suspenseful mystery in this book. I enjoy her character and what she brings to the story. She is my favorite for sure. I found this book to be well written and engaging. This is a story that is hard to put down that has twists and turns that you won’t see coming. There is great growth with the characters as well as the plot throughout the story. Find out what investigation Madeline has gotten herself into this time. I enjoyed this story and I highly recommend it.

A missing person case, anonymous letters, and a divorce case that will give you chills…these are the fun things that Mike and Maddie get to look into in this installment of the Madeline Dawkins series. I found the story quite exciting and action packed. It’s fairly fast-paced and full of drama. The characters are all pretty relatable. I will be waiting to see what happens with a certain beloved senior citizen. For having three storylines basically going at the same time, I enjoyed how well they were all tied in together. It felt smooth and flawless. This is my third foray into this series. I will have to go back and start from book 1.

5 stars Breach of Trust is the eighth book in the thrilling Madeline Dawkins series. I love that Cynthia cleverly weaves several plots into a story keeping the readers and characters on their toes. I also love that Cynthia puts something in the story that makes me laugh even in the midst of hell. I cannot stress enough that these books should be read in order to ensure you get the background of the characters. Breach of Trust is a page turner that will have you invested in what is going on and will have you on the edge of your seat. Monte Verde is suddenly not the safe and compassionate assisted living complex for the elderly as meets the eye as Madeline Dawkins and the MDPI team find out. With poison pen letters, dark secrets, blackmail and a lot of resentment can Madeline solve the mystery before things have deadly consequences? Not only that but helping a woman with her ugly divorce with a nasty estranged husband brings the past out of hiding for Madeline. As always, I look forward to more.

I read several of The Madeline Dawkins Series a couple of years ago. Through the books, Madeline’s character grew from a trophy wife to a private investigator. This all came about due to Madeline’s ex-husband embezzling money through a Ponzi scheme.
Since starting the private investigation business with her friend and now husband Mike, they have proved themselves to be good investigators that complete jobs and also assists the police. In this book, Madeline and Mike are working on solving three different cases that bring them work but stress too.
I really missed reading the series. I love Madeline and Mike’s personalities and how they work together. The author does a wonderful job of creating the atmosphere and locations the PI business takes them to. I look forward to catching up on reading the books in this series that I missed.

Although i have not read any of the other books in this series I still really enjoyed this read. Othe people’s money is captivating right from the begging of the book. This read is not usually my cup of tea but this author sucks you in with Maddie and her people solving cases. Lots of twists and surprises in this book and just keeps you entangled in this book. I honestly look forward to read more books by this Author and I will have to go back and read the other books in this series although you can follow along without reading the other books, I highly suggest that you start from the beginning you won’t regret it :). Thank you to wonderful Author for writing this wonderful read.
Other People’s Money is wonderful well-written, suspenseful mystery, with interesting characters. While this book is part of a series; it reads well as a stand alone novel. Maddie and Mike, two private investigators are working on three investigations. Each case, reveals something peculiar and creates tension; which made reading this novel great. There were a few times where I thought I had figured out the ending; I was kept guessing until the end-which did not disappoint!

This book is another fantastic addition to this series, full of plot twists at every turn. I always find it so easy to get back into one of these books, connecting with the characters again straight away. I always enjoy how interesting these stories are. Usually this far into a series it starts to lose steam but the author has done a great job of keeping up the momentum. This book is exciting to read. I found myself trying to put the pieces together and yet the author does so well to keep you guessing. I am still really enjoying this series and I cannot wait for whatever the author produces next.

Other People’s Money is the seventh book in The Madeline Dawkins series by Cynthia Hamilton. Oh boy- Madeline and crew have their work cut out for them solving this slew of new cases. From embezzlement to unearthing a Gold Digger, every clue they uncover leads to more questions, complications, tangled web of secrets, manipulation, scams and cons, in the grab for other people’s money. But nothing is as it appears to be and the team seem to hit block after block- so will they ever manage to uncover the truth and finally close their cases- or will this be the time that Madeline and team get outplayed by the bad guys? Add in some tension, adventure, drama, mystery, suspense, doubts, and interconnected details- and things take quite an intriguing turn. This book could be read as a standalone- but I highly recommend reading the previous books before starting on this one, as even though each book is a self-contained mystery/adventure, and each delivers its own fantastic read- all combined, they help to build detail, character information and development, and impart other important and intriguing information that creates a bigger picture, which, in turn, will enhance your overall reading experience. So, trust me, it is definitely worth starting this series at the beginning! Cynthia Hamilton is one of my favourite authors, and Madeline Dawkins is one of my ‘must read- no questions asked’ series that I have loved since devouring book one. Other People’s Money is the seventh book in the Madeline Dawkins series. This can be read as a standalone book but is much more enjoyed if read after the preceding books in the series. Madeline is on the case again with her husband, Mike, and associate Samir. What starts as one case quickly grows to three in this book. Are the cases related, or do they have a common thread of “Other People’s Money”? I always enjoy the build-up of suspense in this author’s books, and this one didn’t disappoint. Madeline and her team work well together and always figure out the case, but I enjoy the journey. The cases in this book were intriguing and kept me questioning who was at the bottom of everything. I look forward to grabbing the next book in the series soon.

This is book 7 in a series that is new to me. I have not read the previous six books but I thoroughly enjoyed this one enough that I will be seeking out the previous books. I felt like this was able to be read as a standalone even though this is part of a series. I enjoyed the writing style of Cynthia Hamilton and how she weaved together multiple cases and tied them all up in the end with a bit of a twist. Several times I thought I had figured out the case but I was wrong!

This is a series that keeps getting better and better with every book added to it. I highly suggest reading the other books in this series to help your enhancement of this series as well as this author’s writing style. Madeline is back with another suspenseful investigation and one you don’t want to miss. I found this book to be fast paced and engaging. A hard to put down story that has twists and turns that had me turning pages fast. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into the story from the start. Madeline is a great, strong character that has been my favorite of this series. She finds herself into some suspenseful investigations and this one is no different. She is on the search for a missing bookkeeper plus a search into a woman who may not be who she seems. There is alot going on in this story but the author did a great job of transitioning between the two. I really enjoyed watching the growth in this book and enjoyed what the characters added to the story. I highly recommend this book.

When I saw Other People’s Money by Cynthia was out, I jumped on it because I love this series. Madeline and her adventures always make me laugh in one way or another and my heart pounding and kept me on the edge of my seat. It has been a while since I have read one of her works. This is the seventh thrilling book in the Madeline Dawkins mystery series. Make sure to read these books in order because then you get all the background of the characters and their backstory. Madeline, Mike and Samir are back. I found this to be quite the intriguing suspense thriller. I loved the cases in this story. The fact that they all end up somehow related makes for such a complex and complicated story. The way it kicks off with the appearance of her ex in Switzerland is fantastic and a heck of way to just srt with a bang. Here I am, let’s jump right into the story… I found the characters to be flat out, well written. Her former friend popping up, and looking sneaky, just gave it right away. Some clues are within the writing and I love that. The details are in the story. The reading grabs a hold and won’t let you go. I find that the flow is very smooth and just flows well. You go from case to case. A terrific suspense read.

Mann that I have read, so I will be reading the full series soon. I was intrigued by the title of this book and that its similar to an actual murder that happened. While I like the start of the story, I felt rather bounced around towards the middle of the story. I feel like there are too many characters and not enough mystery/action happening. I might just give it another go and try to reread it later. The characters themselves were intriguing to me, their names sound like foreign and yet similar at the same time.
This is book 4 in the Italian Murder Mystery series. This book was inspired by a real case that happened in Italy. It’s the first book by P.J. This book was not my favorite. I stopped many times, but would start again in hopes that it would pick up and get exciting. I do believe the one thing that I really didn’t like was that it had so much back and forth with the characters. And it was almost like there was too many characters. When I finally made it to the end, it was pretty good. But it took forever to get there.

A fun, easy read. I enjoyed this one in a different way than the first book in the series. The writer creates an easy flow with the story, told from alternating view points of the female characters from opposing pairs. The premise of the book is fun and you feel the emotion driving them, especially Jas in trying to help Her dad. They are likable despite their chosen paths throughout the story. The storyline is unique and I haven’t read anything quite like it and enjoyed the way it was presented.
This book can be read as a standalone and is a quick, action-packed read. I continue to find this author’s work to be engaging and entertaining!

Jasmine, determined to get her father the treatment he desperately needs as hes quickly running out of time decides to pull off a criminal and questionable stunt on her sleazy boss to make a quick payday, however someone else is also looking for a quick payday and the story evolves from there without giving too much away. This story is fast paced, characters are well developed and have a “real” quality to them, and can be comical, witty and do ridiculously dumb things all in the same chapter. This is a multi pov story which also kept my attention. Well done 2nd story in this series that kept my attention as well as the first

This is the second book in The Millersville series, and Susan continues her marvelous way of creating an unforgettable story. Jasmine will do anything in the world for her father, including stealing the money he so desperately needs for treatment. She thinks she has the perfect plan because her boss is a terrible human being. Jasmine has the money when suddenly two “cops” steal it back from her. Does she have what it takes to pull off another crime…stealing this money again? She refuses to give up on her father, but she may be over her head here. I can’t wait until the third book in this series is released next month! I highly recommend picking this one up (as well as the first!) especially if you enjoy psychological thrillers.

Jasmine is new at being a criminal. She needs a large amount of money to get life saving treatment that her father needs for his lung disease. When more criminals get involved, it looks like Jasmine will not have the money for her dad’s treatment. This book kept me hooked and I read it very fast. I am looking forward to more books by this author in the future.

This is the 2nd book to the Millersville Series, and while the books can be read as a standlone I so highly recommend both books so much! This book was fast paced crime thriller from a gem of an author and so happy to discover. This story was gripping, had me at the edge of my seat, heart racing, jaw dropping moments with all kinds of twists and tangles.
Jasmine wants to do right by her father as she has promised to save money to help pay for medical treatments that her father so desperately needs. Believing the plan would work and take money from her employer, who is shady as heck, in turn backfires. When Jasmine and her friend, Phil, are robbed of their own money they stole by other criminals, the pursuit is on to take back money they stole in turn.
Along the way tow drive get involved in mix to help Jasmine and his mother trying to track down Bets and Zerk, whom are the criminals whom stole the money from Jasmine and Philip.
Will Jasmine be able to outsmart Bets and Zerk, take back the money she stole to save her father?
