I read this book to my grandbabies, and they wanted answers to all the questions I’m this book. They loved the pictures, and how there were girl pirates too. All in all this is a cute little read, and would be great for beginners.

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This book gave off beauty and the beast vibes. It is book 5 in the series, but I don’t think you have to go back to read the other books first. I might have to go check them out, just because I couldn’t totally get into this book. I will give this series another chance and read book 1 to see if I like it.

This is a cute short book for you little ones. I read this book with my grandbabies, and they loved it. I think a lot of the school libraries have the same issue about not having othe language books, and my grandbabies could relate to the story in that aspect.

This was a really great read. I don’t think I have ever read a female MC book. The females were just as tough and intriguing as if it were a male MC. This is a great start to a great new series. Can’t wait to read more.

I have loved this series from the very first book, and I still love it now after this new book in the series. I loved reading what happened before, to get some back story. This book was a little short for me, but it didn’t take away from it, I don’t think. Would 100% recommend.

This is my first read for this author, and obviously the series. I love that this series can be read as a standalone, because I came in on book 4. The chemistry between the 2 characters was great, and the love, hate aspect worked so great with them. I will definitely be going back for the rest of this series.

Yes, it’s amazing. Yes, I loved it. Yes, I am not so patiently waiting on being able to read the next book. I am just hooked on this series. I didn’t think I would have liked reading vampire books as much as I do with Sylvia’s books. I guess when I am done with this series I will be looking in to what else she has out there to read.

This is my first time reading this author, and I will need to maybe try one more of her books to see if her writing gets better for me. This book seemed a little immature if you will, for a lack of a better word. It could just be her writing style, that’s why I will give her another chance. I’m on the fence on this book, but there is potential.

Ashes of Sin and StardustAshes of Sin and Stardust by Lindsay Murray
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This book has lots of triggers warnings, so readers make sure you are good before diving into this book. It was an ok book for me, not the best but also not the worst that I’ve read. It is a long read, that could have probably been broken up into 2 books. It was kind of hard for me to keep track and follow all of the different characters as well.

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is my first read from this author. This book started out a little slow for me, but I will be looking for book 2 to see if her writing style gets better for me. This was a good military romance book, with a little kick of revenge thrown in. Oh, and did I mention the added bonus of the BDSM in the book? Yeah, I think that is what did it for me in the end.

This is the second book in the series, of many to come I hope. You don’t really need to read the first book to read this one, but it would be an added bonus if you did. This was a great, friends to lovers book, that has the extra bonus of the BDSM story line as well. A define page turner for me.

I did not read this series in the correct order, and this one seemed a little slow going at first. But I will say there were plenty of twists and spice to the book though. Now don’t get me wrong, the book was great, as is the whole series that I have read so far, I’m just saying this one wasn’t my number one. Still, you should give it a shot and read this book and the whole series.

A Veil of Gods and Kings (Apollo Ascending, #1)A Veil of Gods and Kings by Nicole Bailey
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

A re-telling of the story about Apollo the Greek God and his lover Hyacinth. Greek God, or oh my God? This book was ok, but not really a steamy read. I so wish it had more in the romance department. It didn’t wow me, but it wasn’t all bad. You should give it a chance and see for yourself if you like it or not.
