My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Good read, but way too short for me. This book seems like it can be read as a stand alone, but would be better if you read book 1 first. I love how these are MC books, but has that little bit of paranormal mixed in. I can’t wait to see what will happnext in this series.

Keeping Secrets (Grimm Wolves MC Book 4) by D.M. Earl – Review by Crystal Jimenez

Keeping Secrets- Prospect (Grimm Wolves MC #4)Keeping Secrets- Prospect by D.M. Earl
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

What a great read! I like the books in this series the more I read of them. The only issue for me was that it was way too short. This book had me on the edge of my seat, I didn’t want to put it down. As the other books in the series, it can be read as a stand alone, but I really recommend reading the previous books first.

This was a great installment to the series. It was a fun read, with a little dark mixed in. Oh, and don’t forget about those laugh out loud moments. This book had a way of drawing me, and kept me wanting more the entire time. I would definitely recommend.

Ruthless Heir (Mafia Elite Book 5) by Amy McKinley – Review by Crystal Jimenez

Ruthless Heir: An Enemies to Lovers Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite, #5)Ruthless Heir: An Enemies to Lovers Mafia Romance by Amy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the 5th book in this series, and it was good. I have not read all the books in the series, so it is a little hard to keep up with all of the different characters that have come in the previous books. This was a short but good read for me. I liked how they were not part of the mafia, and had no connections previously, but were welcomed as if they had always been part of the family. I will be going back to read the other books in the series, I can’t wait for that.

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

D.M. Earl is a new to me author, and I will be trying a few more books to see if I really like the writing style. I didn’t read the synopsis for this book, so going into I thought this would just be another MC book, and then it turned out to be a paranormal MC book. I did not like the cliffhanger at the end, I like the books I read to give me all the answers, I don’t want to wait for the next book. So I will be getting book 2 to find out what happens next.

Doctor D’s Orderly Affair (Doctors of Eastport General) by C.A. King – Review by Crystal Jimenez

Doctor D's Orderly AffairDoctor D’s Orderly Affair by C.A. King

This short novella was a hot steamy read. This is my first read from this author, and I quite enjoyed the book. I loved the chemistry between Dr. D & Emily, it kind of had me wanting more. I personally would have liked more spicey scenes, but to each there own. The ending was a little rushed for me, but all in all I really like the book.

This is my first book by this author/series, and I wasn’t disappointed. I love MC books and would recommend this book. I will definitely be going back to read the rest of this series.
I was sucked into the story from the beginning and was hooked all the way through. This book had action, great character chemistry, romance, mixed in with a few twists and turns. If you like MC books, then this is the book for you.

Etched in this Moment (Etched, #1)Etched in this Moment by Calla Zae
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is my fist read for this Author. This book for me, was way too fast paced. There was a good base to the story, but it was really rushed and a little unbelievable.
Tia and Theo had a love at first sight meeting, but with her past she was not easy to trust. Theo knows she is scared of something and wants to help her, but has to get Tia to trust him first so he can find out what is wrong.
Like a said, this book is fast paced, but a HEA

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, book 4) by Amy McKinley – Review by Crystal Jimenez

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is my first reading adventure by this author. I read this book as a stand-alone, even though this is book 4 in the series. I was able to follow the story without having to have read the previous 3 books, but I did have a little trouble keeping up with who is in what “family”.
This was a good book, but not as Mafia-esc as I would have liked. Marco & Elena were a little too sweet for me. They had chemistry, but it felt like the story was rushed to get it there. Maybe I needed a slower burn, or a longer book for my taste. But either way I will be going back to read the other books in the series t0 see if it gets better for me.
