Bottom of the Chains (Grimm Wolves MC Book 2) by D.M. Earl
3 Stars

This is book two in the Grimm Wolves series. It can be read as a stand-alone. This story focuses on Bullet. Tragedy struck in his young life which causes him nightmares. Still healing from recent events, he must learn that it’s not his fault and that things just happen sometimes. He feels like he let down his MC and his life is spiralling out of control. He meets Clementine at one of his doctors appointments and for once in his life can see a possible future for himself. Can both of them work through their issues to make this relationship work?

This is a short novella which in my opinion should have been longer. We learn some vital information pertaining to Bulllet’s past which should have been expanded upon yet is never mentioned again. Why bring it up at all if you’re not going to explain what happened? I feel that if the author had integrated this into the story, this book could have been an amazing novel. Since it wasn’t, this book felt more like of a short side story to the series. Hoping we learn more about this in the next book of the series.

Bottom of the Chains is the second book in the Grimm Wolves MC series by D.M Earl. This is another intriguing MC romance- with a bit of a paranormal spin- add in some emotion, drama, brotherhood, finding where you belong, and family- with both some familiar and new faces.
This is Bullet and Clemmys’s story- and what an intriguing tale it turned out to be.
Looking forward to Book #3.
Happy Reading!

Thank you, D.M. Earl!

I have read a few motorcycle club books and this one was a bit refreshing. The author has a unique style and story line. I like how the characters are believable. Tbe mix of drama and a little romance is just right. I was very drawn into this book.

The characters have complex pasts and this makes for a more interesting read. I also like how there is a bit of restraint from the characters and the romance. Sometimes it is refreshing to read a romance that isn’t all fall and tumble but just plain fall. I will definitely read more from this author.

This is the fourth book in this series which is just as great as the previous three books. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series to help your enhancement and enjoyment of this author and series. I have loved reading this author from the first book I picked up by her. They pull you in from the beginning and her attention to details make her books realistic. This book is no different. It is a well written story that has characters that not only pop but make the story come to life on each page. I enjoyed how they are connectable and kept the story engaging. A story that has great growth of the characters and the plot throughout the story. This is a fast paced story that is full of not only action but also some romance. This is a hard to put down story but it is a must read. A story of secrets, honor and threats of survival. This is a really great story that I loved reading. It is entertaining and ticks all the right boxes for sure. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This is the second book in the Grimm Wolves MC series although it is more like a novella as it is a very short read, but is great. Bullet is a prospect in his MC but he thinks he messed up big time and it’s all he can think about whilst battling with the nightmares from his past. Can he finally let go and realise how much his brothers stand behind him before he lets it swallow him up whole but when he goes to the hospital he meets Clemintine and the spark is instant between the two maybe all is not lost for Bullet after all and she just might be able to help him see he is worth more.

DM brings us this fourth book in this paranormal Grimm Wolves MC series. The chemistry is off the charts and the banter makes me laugh. I am really enjoying this series and getting to know the characters. The characters likeable and engaging. I love that these men are willing to go to any lengths to protect their women, their families, their friends, and their brothers. They ride free, live hard and love with their whole being and protect fiercely.
We catch up with our favourite couples from the first three books and you feel like you are catching up with old friends and are a part of their unit.
Make sure to read the books in order as the characters cross over from one book to the next.

This was a great 5 star read.
My heart went out to Bullet, he was in foster care and is having nightmares from things in his past. He is waiting for his MC brothers to send him packing after his mistakes. But they surprise him and show him what a real family is.

He meets Clementine at a doctor’s appointment that was interesting in itself. Clementine joins the group for lunch and things go from there, she was perfect for Bullet. She is feisty and knows how to give it back to him.

Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the characters added a great element to this novella. I look forward to reading more from this series. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. 1- click and get started today.

This is a romantic motorcycle club novel and is 130 pages in length. This is the second book in the series and follows the Grimm Wolves prospect, Bullet. He grew up in foster care and he felt he found his belonging with the Grimm Wolves. He meets Clementine, who is studying to be a nurse. Bullet is trying to make something of himself in the club without letting his brothers down again. Clementine has her eye on the future. We meet Bullet in the first Grimm Wolves MC book by D.M. Earl, he is a broken soul who has had a rough go at life until the MC. Bullet feels like he has let down his “brothers” more than one time and along with his past, it is causing nightmares and making Bullet a bear to live with. An intervention is needed and along with Grace, his brothers try to help Bullet. Along comes Clementine thanks to Grace. She is a young nursing student and a feisty redhead. Is this what Bullet needs to move on from the past or will the past tear them apart?
Again D.M. Earl has delivered a great read she has a way of making the characters jump off the pages. I can not wait to continue this series.

This is book 2 of Grimm Wolves MC Series and I loved this story just as much as the first one. The author does an amazing job of involving the reader into the world of the MC club, fully immersing the reader into their lifestyle and the danger they face.

In this story we learn more about Bullet. Bullet is a prospect who we met in the first book. After an attack left him very injured and struggling to recover in the 1st book we now rejoin him and learn more about his road to recovery. We also learn about his past and how he became part of the Grimm Wolves MC Club and of course we find out and meet his love interest. No biker book is complete without a romance however I think Bullet with have his hands full with Clementine (Flame)
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Bullet and Clementine….oh I did some swooning with these 2!
Bullet is still coming into himself and feeling down about instances that have taken him to where he is today. He fears letting down the brothers who are the only true family he has known, and Clementine comes at the right time to help build that self confidence in him and them together. Its a gritty story that is just as flirty and fun. They have great chemistry and the background itself ties it all together perfectly.

While this is a shorter novella I loved it just as much as the first book in this series. While this novella can be read as a stand alone I would recommend reading the first one just so you can get a fell for all of the wonderful characters that reappear in this second installment. While this story was shorter it still packed all the same great things that the first one did, the emotions, the drama, the romance was all incredible. I can’t wait to dig into the next installment.

This is the third book in this series. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series as they are just as awesome as this one. This is an author I have loved reading from the first book I picked up. One of the things I enjoy most about this author is her ability to pull me into the story by her writing skills as well as her attention to details. This story is no different. I was pulled into the story by the creative characters. They not only bring the story to life on each page but also keep the story engaging. This is a fast paced paranormal story that is easy and entertaining to read. I enjoyed how the characters are connectable and their growth throughout the story is great. This is a story about what happens when the past comes knocking at your door. Beast is faced with making some choices that just may take what little control he has over his life. What will he do when life throws in some threatening danger to his family? I enjoyed the twists and turns that had me coming back for more. Beast is my favorite character as he is strong and really made the story for me. This is a great story that I loved reading and I highly recommend it.

The books in this series are quick reads but they are packed full of everything you would want in a MC paranormal story. This the third book in the Grimm Wolves MC series and each book gets better than the one before. I suggest reading them in order because they have intercrossing characters in each book.
The story is an emotional one, but it also had me laughing out loud at times with the comradery and banter. There is danger and drama, angst, and suspense, lots of love and some Christmas spirit. It is engaging and intriguing and I am invested in these characters as we follow along on their journeys that these brothers and Old Ladies find themselves in.
Beast thought he could do it all himself but what he soon realises is that no matter what his brothers are his family too and they will do anything to help those they love.
We meet with old friends from the first book. The characters are well written and easy to connect with.
There is so much on the horizon for the Grimm Wolves MC and I can’t wait.

I fell in love with the writing style of this author in the first novel, and my love continues in the second book for sure! I love their writing style and how they bring the story’s they write to life. Love how the first two I have read can be stand alone, but reading in order, makes you understand key things more!

This story was the same key elements of the first book. It brought on that emotion that I felt when reading the previous novel in the story. Different characters and perspectives. I felt so much. It is so realistic on everything this books brings to the table. The characters bring the story to life and I really love the development in everyone. Connections are made, and some connections may not seem like an impact, but they are! Loved how the author keeps the writing engaging and suspenseful.

As said, I am loving this series. I can not read more in the series as well as more by this author. I really am enjoying their work of their writing. I highly recommend this series if you have not picked it up already, and most defiantly recommend this book and author! A must read for sure!

Behemoth (Grimm Wolves MC Book 1) by D.M. Earl – Review by Shadel Ayerbe

Behemoth (Grimm Wolves MC #1)Behemoth by D.M. Earl
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book has wolves, romance, and thrillers. It has the best of multiple worlds.

How can a guy manage to live two lives at the same time? As a firefighter, one has honor, but as a Nomad in a Motorcycle Club, the other has doubts. Add to the already perplexing combination an incredible skill set that allows him to absorb the thoughts and feelings of others. Stitch, or Francis M Stein, is doing the best he can with the hand he’s been dealt. In both his firehouse and MC, he has found an extended family in his brothers. He is still alone, alone, and living a life of loneliness with little prospect of change in the near future.

He’s just existing. That is, until Damien, a little child, enters his life and shows him what he has been missing. Francis is now able to see a future for himself that involves a wife and children. Grace Sinclair is all he’s ever wanted in a woman and more. There is good and terrible in Francis’ life, as there is in everything. Will Francis, Grace, and Damien be able to overcome their difficulties and live happily ever after, or will fate intervene once more? Only time will tell if this is true.

I loved this story. I loved every page of it. Every chapter was exciting. This is my first book from this author and I can’t wait to read more from this series.

Damien is such a sweet little boy and he is immediately able to see right past the surface scars that Francis endured as a child. They connect on a deeper level because they both have quite a bit in common. Grace is such a good person, she’s been through some horrific things with her ex and it makes her want to run the other way when she finds out Francis is in an MC. But her heart keeps pulling her towards him, she sees the amazing man with the big heart that lies underneath. She doesn’t turn away because he is scarred and for the first time it looks like real happiness is within his grasp. Francis, Stitch to his MC is a nomad biker and a firefighter. Due to a horrific childhood he has severe scars both mentally and physically. One day while at the firehouse Francis means Damien. He feels an instant connection with the child, what he doesn’t know are the changes coming his way. Grace, Damien’s mother is very protective of her son for valid reasons for the past also because of the past, one that included involvement with an MC, she avoids getting involved in any way with a MC. Yet, she finds herself wanting to be involved with Francis. As the two come together will Grace’s past catch up with her? Will that past come between Francis and Grace? Will it create issues between Francis and his MC, the Grimm Wolves? Will Francis and Grace get there happily ever after?

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning and excited to start this new MC series.

Francis, he is a firefighter and an MC member. He has scars inside and out that he is dealing with. Grace is trying to lay low and live life hidden as best as she can. Her ex is part of an MC that she wants no part of and her son Damien is adorable.

When Francis meets Grace there is something about her that pulls him right in. Will he open up to Grace about his past? What will happen when he learns Grace’s secret?

Overall I really enjoyed this read. My emotions were all over the place. All of the characters added a great element to the story, a few of them tugged at my heart strings. I loved Damien.

Behemoth (Grimm Wolves MC #1)Behemoth by D.M. Earl
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I have a lot of thoughts surrounding Behemoth but I can say I enjoyed the book overall and I do look forward to reading on in
the series. There were segments in the book where I felt like I was missing something, it was eluded that Francis could
often tell someone’s thoughts- even his brothers knew this but I never truly understood the context. I thought a couple times that I must have zoned out when reading and missed the backstory. The only other “criticism” I would have is that I expected a lot more “action” throughout the entire story line.
All of that said… the characters are FANTASTIC. Grace, Stitch and even the secondary characters tugged at my heart strings. I am really excited to see what this author and series has to offer because I am anxious to learn more and be involved in the inevitable character development. The book was a pretty fast read and did keep my attention. I would definitely recommend it if you like motorcycle clubs and relatable characters.

This is the first book, I’ve read by this author. The blurb had me interested in it the moment I read it. Francis “Stitch” Stein is an intriguing character who straddles the line of the law spectrum. The MC portion of the story in itself was everything that you expect in an MC novel. What you don’t expect is the backstory and the consequences of said backstory. It was a uniquely spun supernatural tale that kept me reading. Now onto Grace. I loved her and her adorable child. I loved the chemistry between all the characters. I did enjoy this book. I will be checking out others by this author.
