My favourite books to read are paranormal romances. I also enjoy a good MC romance. This book is a blend of both. Despite having a traumatic childhood, Francis a.k.a Stitch grew up to be a gentle giant. At 6’5 full of scars, he’s intimidating. Even after all the cruelty that his parents bestowed upon him, he still has a heart of gold. He always felt like he was split in two. Being a firefighter and part of an MC, satisfies both parts of him. Growing up unloved, Francis never thought that he would find his one true love until he met Grace. One fateful day, Damian walked into his life and through him, Grace. They fill his life with something he never knew he was missing.

I thought the story was good and the characters were so lovable but I had a few issues with this book. Francis had some special abilities that were never really explained. Was he born with them? Did they appear because of the experiments his parents performed on him? Damian had similar abilities which were never explained as well. How does he have them? Did Grace never realize that he had them? Their relationship from day one was perfect. They met, fell in love and their future was set. Yes there were some bumps caused by Grace’s past but their relationship never suffered. It was unrealistic.

I was very disappointed that there were no wolf shifters in the MC. Their name is the Grimm Wolves and the book is supposed to have a paranormal twist. The title is misleading. My biggest issue is the ending. It just stops. It’s not really a cliffhanger but the story doesn’t end. For me, this book is just a set up for the rest of the series. Which is fine, I’ll still read the rest. I just wasn’t expecting this book to end the way that it did.

Behemoth is a contemporary MC paranormal romance. Francis Stein is living a dual life, firefighter by day and MC biker by night (or days off). He has come to terms with the fact that the combination of his looks and his special talents for reading people, will mean that he is destined to be alone. When a chance encounter with an enigmatic child, Damian, on a school trip leads to him meeting his mother, Grace, Francis starts to rethink his view. Grace is against the MC lifestyle however can see past it to see who Francis really is. Complications however occur when Grace’s ex and his biker brothers do not want her to move on.

I can safely and fully honestly say it’s been a good while since I’ve immediately bought an entire series based off the first book. I COULD NOT read this fast enough. I fell in love with these characters so quick, I needed more, and right then. 10/10 gold stars for you author. This was my first book I’ve read written by this author also, not a shred of disappointment in sight.

Bottom of the Chains - Prospect (Grimm Wolves MC #2)Bottom of the Chains – Prospect by D.M. Earl
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the second book in this series where supernatural and MC’s combine to entice and tantalize. As with the first book Behemoth, Bottom of the Chains is a story that delights the senses. The story was engaging and intriguing. This story is fast paced and enjoyable. There is drama, angst, and suspense as we learn more about these men and their women that DM has created.
We meet with old friends from the first book. The characters are well written and easy to connect with. When it comes to Bullet and Clementine the chemistry between them is flirty and sexy and their banter is fun.
Bullet has had plenty of pain and suffering in his life and has now found the family he needs. But when things go wrong, he feels as if he has let them down and is determined to make things right.
There is so much in the future or the Grimm Wolves MC.

This is an author that I have loved reading from the first book I picked up. I never hesitate to pick up one of her books as I know what I am in for. They are well written stories where the author’s use of details brings the story to life and where characters pop. This story is no different. I loved reading this MC story. I was pulled into the story by the creative, engaging characters. I enjoyed their growth throughout the story which made it easy to read. They are connectable and had me coming back for more. They bring a lot to the story. This is a shorter, fast paced story that I read in one sitting. This is a story about how the MC took in a prospect but keeps letting them down. Now is faced with showing that he is worth their trouble and can be useful. You don’t want to miss what happens in this story, it is worth the pick up and a must read. This is the second book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous book as it is that great. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Behemoth (Grimm Wolves MC #1)Behemoth by D.M. Earl
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I liked the flow of the story. It is very smooth and easy to follow along with. I did have a few different places I struggled. I almost feel incomplete. The storyline with the issues of Grace and Damien did not get closed. Then after half way the story turns to the club and all kinds of different possible future scenarios. Again nothing was completed…sounds like it will all continue in the next book. My personal opinion would be for the club business be mixed in with the romance.

Stitch had my heart breaking for him from the beginning. I really thought he would have issue with forming a relationship..not jump into calling her baby. Damien is a godsend! Little kids add so much and Damien is no different. Grace had her struggles but seems to overcome them easily and move forward.

Overall this is a good read. Since it rolls along and is smooth I will give it three stars and a half. Just don’t get too hung up on proper protocol in the MC or how one thing stopped and another started half way. Seems like two stories added together.

This is the first book in the Grimm Wolves series. We meet Francis and Grace, who are both survivors. Francis survived a childhood that affected not only him but his siblings as well. Francis “Stitch” is making is own family and not just in his firefighting life, but through an MC. Grace is a fighter who is doing the best for her child, Damian. Can Damien help heal both sides of Stitch, that he has been fighting against for so long? I had so many questions at the end of the story, and am looking forward to reading the next book.

This is the first book that I have read by this author. This author had me intrigued with the story line especially when it’s a MC and paranormal because these are my favorite reads. I loved the characters they showed real emotions.

Francis M. Stein, aka Stitch he is alone, isolated, and living a solitary life, seeing no changes in his immediate future. He is simply existing even though he has his extended family in his brothers in both his firehouse and MC. With his ability to absorb other’s thoughts and emotions, it makes everything complicated.

When Francis meets a young boy named Damien his life changes drastically and he has new hope. Then you throw in a new woman Grace Sinclair and he sees himself with his own family.
Will Francis, Grace, and Damien be able to overcome their problems? Can they have a happily ever after or will fate once again cause chaos for them?
You need to read this awesome book and find out about these amazing people.

This is a fantastic book that really caught my attention from the word go. This is still a relatively new author to me but I am already at a point of picking up one of these books without reading the description. I just love how with each and every book I am transported fully into the lives of the characters.
This book is such a strong start to a new series. I was hooked immediately and loved the whole feel of the book. It had such an exciting storyline and I found it to be one that really played on your emotions. I loved the dynamic between the characters. Everything just fit together so well. Behemoth (Grimm Wolves MC Book 1) by D.M. Earl. If you love MC books and paranormal then this is for you! It was amazing. Its the story of Francis/Stitch who sorta has two different lives. One life he is a firefighter and the other he’s in the Grimm Wolves Motorcycle Club. In both lives he has the family of his work and MC club but he’s still lonely. Life has not been great to Francis. When he was young his parents were so abusive to him and his siblings and he has had to learn to live with those scars. When he meets a young boy named Damien who wondered into the firehouse he is taken with the boy! When Damien goes home talking about this cool firefighter he meet Grace his mom has to find out what is so special about him. When Grace and Francis meet sparks fly and Francis realizes that he could maybe have a family one day. The only problem is Grace has secrets that involve the MC’s most hated rival club. When those secrets come out everything is up in the air. Will Grace and Francis be able to make it work or will the secrets they both have destroy everything? Read Behemoth to find out!

Behemoth is the first instalment in the Grimm Wolves MC series by D.M Earl. This isn’t the first book of Ms. Earl’s that I have read, but it is definitely my favourite (so far). It is a MC romance- with a bit of a paranormal touch that made this story even more interesting. The author has managed to blend a few popular themes- firefighters, MC, and the paranormal- and the end result is quite an engaging story.
We meet a man, Francis (Stitch) who is both a firefighter, as well as a member of a motorcycle club. He also has a secret that he has carried for as long as he can remember. One that has been a heavy burden at times. He holds himself back from life- taking part, but not truly living. But all that changes when he meets a young boy named Damien, and his mother Grace. What happens next makes for a sweet, feelgood, and intriguing story.
Looking forward to reading the rest of this series. Bring on Book #2…
Happy Reading!

Thank you, D.M. Earl!

So this is a new to me author and sometimes you just never know what to expect. However, this was a hit out of the park book that pulls at the heart strings and suggests that though we can see all our flaws that doesn’t make us unloveable.

Francis has two lives: that as a firefighter and that as a biker known as stitch. If this is all there is to life he feels complete with the families he has chosen because his biological family is anything but a family. That is until he meets Damien who is the only child he has met that is not afraid of his scars and that he senses has some underlying abilities making him similar to Francis. He goes on to meet Grace Sinclair and really starts envisioning the family he could have rather than his lonely current existence. Is it too much to overcome or can they overcome all the obstacles to achieve their happily ever after? This is a must read book if you love romances mixed with intrigue and mystery. This book will tug at your heartstrings and pull you in from the get go!

This is book 1 in the Grimm Wolves series and wow what a story. This is a MC romance but what I loved about it is that the main character Francis although a biker is also a soft gentle soul. His character is so vulnerable that you can’t help but fall in love with him.

Francis has had a very hard childhood and wears his scars on his body as proof. He is closed off from everyone preferring to be alone. He also has a talent for reading peoples minds. This and the way his looks has lead him to close off. After all who could love a monster.
He spends his days working as a firefighter and is also a member of the Grimm Wolves MC. He never imagined a run in with a beautiful woman could unravel him and make his once sad life filled with happiness again. However things aren’t that simple.

Grace is a single mum raising her gifted son Damien. Damien’s father is in prison. After her relationship with Damien’s father which was brutal and abusive Grace wants nothing to do with any MC’s until she meets Francis.
Can Francis show her that not all MC’s are the same? Can Grace learn to trust this man who swears to love and protect her? And what will be the fall out between the two MC’s when Francis dates another guys ‘old lady’?

My life has sucked for as far back as I can remember. My folks didn’t want me so I was thrown into foster care. Let me just say lots of fun. NOT.

Then one day, my life took a dramatic change. My circumstances improved greatly. I met The Grimm Wolves MC and they took me under their wing. I became not only a prospect but also part of their brotherhood.

Now I’ve let my brothers down not once, but twice, in less than a month. What if I don’t belong with the club? Feeling the weight of life, how can I prove to the only family I have ever had that I’m worth the trouble? Or maybe the truth is I’m not reliable and useful after all? It all depends on how much of my failure The Grimm Wolves MC are willing to put up with by one of their newest prospects.

This story was literally impossible not be sucked into, and love every second of it. The author crafted a story that gave very remarkable characters and a writing that was different, but in a good way. I was hooked and entranced. I could not let go. I really enjoyed this one.

The way the characters were created and their interactions with one another were for sure my favorite concept of this wonderful story. Plus I love the start of this series, and can not wait to see where this is to go next. Francis and Grace and her so, were characters that really impacted me. I loved how this was not just a story of finding yourself. There was so much more associated with it. A lot is going on and happens, and in all honesty, a lot more WILL happen as time goes on. It was a quick read for me, and one I truly enjoyed and could not put down. Can not wait for to read the next installment!

Thank you to this wonderful author that created such a impacting book and wonderful start to a new series. I loved it and I highly recommend this book, series and this amazing author! A must read!

Francis, known as Stitch to his MC brothers, has a past that would give people nightmares. When he isn’t working at the fire station, or doing something with the club, he lives the life of a nomad at his cabin. A routine field trip at the fire station is going to change his life forever.

Grace is a nurse and single mom. When her son, Damien, comes home after a field trip and can’t stop talking about the fireman who so so kind to him, she knows she needs to find a way to thank him. Little does she know that this one decision will set in motion a chain of events that will change everything. When she finally meets Francis face-to-face, she is torn because while she finds him attractive, her past has made her very wary of anyone associated with a MC.

There is so much going on in this book…lust, love, revenge, protectiveness, loyalty, and family. I enjoyed the relationship between Grace and Francis and between Francis and Damien. I would love to read more about their bond and the similarities they share. There were also plenty of members of the MC that I would enjoy reading more about. Overall, a good book that I enjoyed reading!

Frances and Grace have rocky pasts. They meet by way of Grace’s son, Damien. A kindred soul, Damien takes to Frances. Through a series of misadventures they come into a romance that defies all thought. Frances is a nomad which allows him the freedom to be with Grace a bit more. Can they work through the MC challenge and the histories they have? The tension is thick but the romance is there. Toss in some spice and it’s ripe for the picking. A book that makes you think. A plot that flows well between the two lives of Francis. The characters are very relatable. The struggles of the main characters are real. I highly recommend this book. I look forward to reading the next in the series.

Who doesn’t love a story with a supernatural twist where paranormal and MC’s meet? Paranormal is my first love but MC’s and their alpha men make me swoon to. Throw in some firefighters and I was ready to dig in and start the story.
There is plenty of pain and suffering, drama and angst and suspense and insta attraction and one cute little boy that melts hearts. The chemistry between the two main characters is undeniable but they both have pasts that may just keep them apart.
Stitch is a man haunted by the horrors his past that have scared him in more ways than one. Grace has had bad experiences in the past will she be able to turn to the Grimm Wolves MC when needed.
I am interested to see what the future holds for the Grimm Wolves MC.

Awakening is the third book in The Journals Trilogy and Holy Heck. This is a Romance Suspense that will freaking pull you in from the beginning and doesn’t let go till the end. To say this was an intense read/listen is a huge understatement. The narrator did an amazing job of bringing the characters to life and the raw emotion was chilling. There are some things that may ne trigger for some so I would highly recommend not listening to this with anyone under 18. This follows Quinn, Stone and Walker. She been through hell and back and is stronger than she realizes. Stone is helping her to be stronger and is doing everything to make sure Walker will never bother her again. You guys this is a must read/listen grab a copy to find out what happens next. Im looking forward to listening to more books by this author.

This is a full length dark suspenseful romance. Due to the theme and contents of this story. I recommend only those over 18 should be reading this story.

Quinn has escaped her horrible past, with the help of Stone and his men. She is ready to move on, but something still lurks in the shadows. Could it be Walker again? Where is Stone and Walker?   Quinn must gather her strength to get her family safe, once again. Where is she safe? Will Quinn ever be safe again? This is not a nice romance.

D.M. Earl has written this powerful intense series. Everything Quinn has is a fight to keep. I hate to see this series end, but all good things must come to an end. I love each and every character in this series. I love the quick page turning rollercoaster ride. The emotions are out there and ready to greet you. I hope you love this series as much as I have. Well Done D.M. Earl! Well Done!

This is the third audio book in The Journals Trilogy and I really enjoyed it. Again, the narration was really good and the book was easy to listen to. This really was a great ending to this series, the action was there from the beginning, I actually think this may have been my favourite out of the series – the author definitely seemed to save the best until last. There were some great and unexpected twists and turns in the story which the narrator really brought to life.

Overall a really enjoyable audio book and a great ending to this series! A must listen!

Awakening is the third book in The Journals Trilogy by D.M. Earl. This series needs to be read/ listened to in order. This series is rough and addicting. There are definitely some triggers in this book. It was a roller coaster of a ride from the very beginning and it never stopped. This book starts where the first book leaves off. Quinn is an amazingly strong woman who has been through unthinkable things. Stone and his crew have come to help settle the score. This whole series was full of vibrant characters. I listened to this book in one sitting because I just had to know how it ended. It was totally worth it!

This book was narrated by Torii Alaniz. Her voice was mellow and easy to listen to. She really brought the characters to life. I look forward to listening to many more books by her.

This is the 3rd book in The Journals Trilogy series.  This is a Romantic Suspense and is just under 4 hours listening time.  This is a dark romance so only 18+ should listen and there are situations in the story that could also cause triggers.  This story follows Quinn, Stone, and Walker.  Due to her past, Quinn has been through the wringer and that has made her stronger.  She will do whatever it takes to keep her family safe.  Stone guided her to become who she is today.  All she wanted was to move forward and away from her past.  Stone is there to make sure Walker never comes back.  This trilogy was an intense one and the narrator did a fantastic job with it!

Awakening Audio Book by D.M. Earl is the third book in the Journals Trilogy. After listening to the first two books I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one to find out how it was all going to end! I just had to know to outcome and see if there could be a happy ending for Stone and Quinn.

I was a little bit disappointed with the story. It felt like at times that the author had resorted to adding things in for the shock factor. I don’t think this was needed at all as the story was strong enough without it.

These bits aside I did still enjoy the story. I was instantly invested in the characters again, and not just the main ones. It feels like we have got to know all the peripheral characters so well by this point that I wanted to know about them too.

This was a good end to the trilogy and it was great to get the closure on it.

This is my third audible in this series which I loved listening to.  I highly suggest listening to this series in order to help your enhancement of this series.  The narrator brought the story to life by using different tones of voices and made me want to listen to more.  This is a story about dark pasts and a determination to survive.  A story of healing and learning to trust again.  The characters take suspense to a new level and a conclusion to an awesome story.  I won’t say too much about the plot as I think you need to listen to this series as it is that awesome.  I am very glad I picked up this audible and I was so excited to listen to it.  I highly recommend this audible.
