Katelyn is a fierce hard worker who will fight for what she knows is right. As she heals the hurts of the horse, the man who captures her interest is entwined in that healing.
There are years of emotional abuse to work through and in the end, it may feel safer to just stick with what he knows. Grant has never been free to make his own choices in his life and thinking there could be more is almost too much for him to bear. This was a very emotional read for me, I love how the author takes us along through the highs and lows.
S.E. Reichert is great at creating strong relatable characters who are flawed and lovable. I can’t wait to read what comes next!

This is an adorable YA adventure story. Full of Supers, Mutants and the mystery of them all unfolding in a destructive and exciting way. You don’t know who is on the side of the right but just might find your team when you need it the most. Noah is a lovable smart character who isn’t a super yet has a superpower that is all his own. Being a normie has its perks too.

There are times he loses his way, but he is still one with a conscience and is still trying to do what he feels is right. This was a tough one to get through, Ian is flawed and there are a lot of things not going how he planned.

Ian Troy is haunted by the past, tempted constantly to repeat it and is bombarded by those who want to use him for their own confusing reasons. I liked Ian from the start, he has a good heart, a conscience and a need to do the right thing. Sometimes the right thing is not very clear. Ian doesn’t trust easily and finds himself alongside a couple of unlikely allies. He has a hard time believing in himself, but these two see there is something more to him.

The past, present and future are keys to this Crown of Stones story. Ian has endured really difficult things in this series and he is tested again in this one. There are many odds stacked against them and fate hasn’t been kind. I really didn’t want this series to end. I loved the characters and wanted them to have all that they had worked so hard to gain. I love these characters and will miss going on this difficult journey with them.

This is a sweet love story that doesn’t start out on the most promising path. Rhia is determined to punish the prince for taking her chance at choosing for herself whom she will marry and Emerys is there to show his father, the king, that he isn’t worthless. After many hurt feelings, and misunderstandings they find that they aren’t quite as different as they thought they were.
I found myself wanting to finish it all in one sitting as Rhia and Emerys figured things out the hard way and then together. You may not look at snails and mud the same way after this.
My favorite little tidbit was the apology box, I may just have to use this the next time I need to apologize!
If you are a fan of strong women learning to not carry the burden alone, and finding strength and comfort in unlikely places this is the story for you.
