A Forever Kind of Thing is a wonderfully written Contemporary Romance/YA that once I started reading I couldn’t stop reading and read it in one long sitting. I’m new to these authors but im already a fan. Their style of writing and attention to detail made me feel like I was back in high school dealing with all the things that are high school. Their characters are relatable, fully developed and made the story come to life and made it fun to read. Mina and Wes have been best friends since fifth grade. Mina was the target of being bullied by many and didn’t feel like she belonged. But Wes saved her in more than one way that is until he up and left with no goodbye or nothing. Lots changed in five years and when Wes reappears senior year she finds herself struggling to keep up the appearance. I truly enjoyed reading this book and fell in love with both Wes and Mina. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading more from both these authors.

As Though You Were Mine is a wonderfully written Women’s Fiction that will take you on quite the emotional journey. I dove into this book with the mindset that it was going to be emotional so I had kleenexes right beside me and boy am I glad I did. This is a fairly new author to me and I’m definitely interested in what else she has written. Her style of writing and attention to detail along with developed characters make for a wonderful story. This story is packed with drama, family drama, love, loss and grief plus so much more. Julie does a selfless thing and donates her eggs to her sister in law and brother who is having issues with infertility. But when tragedy strikes she finds herself with custody of four year old twins. She’s struggling trying to figure out how to raise these two kids and help them with their grief but shes grieving as well. Throw in a curve ball or two and we find our heart being pulled in several different directions. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens. Deadly Vengeance (The Vaccaro Empire Collection Book 2) by Anise Storm

Deadly Vengeance is the second book in The Vaccaro Empire Series and is a Dark Romance that is packed with, suspense, drama, revenge, secrets, heartache, lies, family drama and so much more. I love a good Mafia Romance that grabs you from the beginning and has you turning the pages till the end. This is a author that I never hesitate picking up anything she writes. I’m a huge fan and each book is better and hotter, intense and raw than the last one. This one definitely checks all those boxes. There may be a few areas that may be a trigger warning for some but if you can push through them, I promise it’ll be worth it. Luca sets out on a quest to get revenge but it turns out to be way more than he ever expected. Valenzia pretty much has lived a sheltered life not knowing or understanding exactly what the family business is but has heard some things others have said. Luca and Valenzia are not friends at first that’s for sure. There’s some pretty tense moments that had me holding my breath. Can these two heal the past? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Guarding the Crease is book nine of The Playmakers Series Hockey Romances. This is a Sports Romance/ Opposites Attract Romance that started out a bit slow and felt draggy in places but once I got about three chapters in things started to get better. I’ve read several other books by this author but I think I’ve missed a couple in this series. I’m definitely going to check out which ones I’ve not read. Wyatt is kind of a jerk at times and I really didn’t care much for him at first . He definitely grew on me. Serena came across kind of snobbish to me at first but the more I read it started to make sense why she came across that way. Wyatt is in self destruction mode and Serena works PR for his ex Hockey team. He is on a self journey of redemption and figuring out who he is and where he fits in. She finds herself in a situation and Wyatt comes to her rescue. Can she help him? These are completely the opposite of one another but can they move past it? Love Bites More is the third book in The Darkness & Light Duology and the Love Bites World. This is a wonderfully written Paranormal/MM/Romance that I absolutely loved reading. I was instantly pulled in and had a hard time putting it down. The attention to detail, and characters that are creative, relatable and fully developed make for quite the adventure. I loved that the author gave us a bring you ul to speed at the beginning that way if you hadn’t read the other books you’ll know what has happened and who they are. This one is my favorite yet but the others are just as good. These three take us on quite the emotional journey of trying to figure each other out and how to make it all work. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading more from this Author.
