I wasn’t prepared for the emotional rollercoaster ride this story takes you on but man oh man its totally worth a few tears. I absolutely loved Evan and Callie’s story . The Colors of Friendship is the first book in The Colors Trilogy. I honestly wasn’t sure quite what to expect going in but once I started reading I had a hard time putting it down. There are some things that may be a trigger for some as there is some scenes with Domestic violence. This is a fairly new author to me and I definitely plan to check out what other books they have written. This authors style of writing along with amazing characters make for a fun yet emotional ride. This is a story about Melody,Imani and Lance these three meet at college and click. Melody is the romantic type and wants to be like her parents and find her true love while in college. Imani is the non nonsense type and she wants yo obtain a Engineering degree while obtaining good grades. Then there’s Lance and he’s all about protecting his girls f and of course football. I love her style of writing and her attention to detail along with amazing characters make for a amazing story. This is a fast paced short story that I read in one sitting. This is Sol and Ember’s story. He’s a bit of a grump but once you find out what happened to him the grumpiness makes a little sense.
He’s retired now and Ember is a fairly newly qualified. She’s had a secret crush on Sol for a while, there’s quite the age difference between them but really does that matter? This story took me on quite the emotional journey. I felt sadness for Sol but also anger at times The chemistry between them is definitely there regardless of the age difference. I highly recommend reading this series in order as each book is about a different Titan and the characters overlap plus you get to read about hot rich sexy men. This is Jonas’s and Kenzie’s story and what a ride. These two are so different yet the same. They went to high school together where a bet turned bad you can say . A decade later Kenzie finds herself in a competition for a chef position at a restaurant in a building owned by the one guy who shattered her heart back when they were in school. Wow ! What a ride! No Pistol Tastes the Same is the first book in the PTSD Disaster Series. This is a wonderfully written story that I felt down to my soul. They don’t want to look weak but let me tell you one thing. I’ll never look at them with anything other than respect?, gratitude. In my profession I work with Veterans everyday and my heart breaks hearing there stories. This is one of those books that will stick with you long after you’re finished. This is a fairly new author to me. This author just gained a new fan. I’ve already looked at other books he’s written. His style of writing is raw uncut and real. Oliver, A Story of Adoption is a children’s book about adoption and we absolutely loved reading it. This is for ages 3 to 9 but honestly I think any age would enjoy it. There’s a great message to be learned from this book. I have three niece’s and nephews that my brother and sister in law adopted and I love them just the same if not more then if they were blood related. They are now old enough to seek out their real mom if they choose. My four year old learned from this and asked lots of questions. I love Oliver and my son did to. This is a short book and I highly recommend reading this cute book and we look forward to reading more from this Author.

The Mermaid and the Ice Cube Necklace is part of the Mermaid Science series. What a cute and educational children’s book. My four year old son loved it . He loved it so much we read it several times in a row. I’d say its for the younger group like 3 and up but honestly believe any age would get enjoyment from reading. This is a short story about Maia and Fig who are enjoying a picnic when Trezzie the Mermaid arrives, the beauty of this is only one of them can see her, while the other isn’t quite sure. So they make a Necklace out of ice cubes. This is a cute story that I enjoyed reading and there’s a little science lesson at the end. I highly recommend reading this children’s book. The Curse of a Faeblood by MK Lorber

The Curse of a Faeblood is a well written Paranormal Fantasy that once you start reading its hard to put down. This is a new author to me but I’m a fan already. Their style of writing and attention to detail is wonderful. Her characters are well developed and fun. It felt like I was apart of the story at times. This is a story that is fast paced and will keep you guessing. Get ready to be taken on quite the with Gavyn and Ember as they seek family members amongst other things. I highly recommend reading this book and im looking forward to reading more from this Author

Toby: The (Mostly) True Story of a Former Bad Dog by Stephanie Wilson Peterson

Toby: The (Mostly) True Story of a Former Bad Dog is a cute children’s book that my four year old son and I loved reading. This is a short chapter story that we read in an evening. This is a story about a dog named Toby. Toby can be a bit mischievous at times. He also likes to blame others for things that he has done. . Join Toby and the pesky cat as they go on a adventure. I highly recommend reading this book and we can’t wait to read more from this Author.
