Wowee! Just like her previous books, this author has done it again. She pulls you in from page one and keeps you there all the way to the end. This time this book focuses on Jackson and Delta. It is a great book. I would suggest reading the previous ones first to actually understand what is going on, even though it can be a stand alone book. It’s well paced, and the writing is phenomenal. The entire time it felt like I was watching a movie instead of reading a book. The story in this one is intense as well and keeps you on the edge of your seat. To me this had a opposites attract type feel, but that may just be me. I cant wait to see what book 4 brings!

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I can say I’ve had a blast. I was attention was able to be grabbed and as someone with ADHD and autism I definitely still held onto the book and understood the meanings. The emotions that Lee went through as basically living her life trying to get out of a street gang and save her own life while living with the guilt of not being able to save another’s. This book is a page turner and has me wanting more and so I’m glad there is going to be more than just one book. I would suggest this book to everyone.
Short and sweet this writer is well spoken and keeps your mind active. If you want to be taken to another world for awhile please read this book.

Okay, so this is the third book in the series, and just like the other two- the author does not disappoint. A romance told with plenty of action- and even dives into the past a bit to give insight into the characters. This book does seem to have a bit more of a “forbidden lovers” tone to it, but it ties right in with the story, making the heart grow fonder for the love that’s told. As the Elites search for the rat in the family, the find themselves knee-deep in danger (but that’s normal.) I do recommend this book- either as a stand alone, or as part of the rest of the series!

It was lovely to be able to get back into these characters, they had been so enjoyable last time. I picked straight back up with them no problem and soon found myself invested in their journey. The author has created another book that is easy to connect with, no matter what your age. This is another great story line that appeals to all and is another Book that I enjoyed from start to finish.

A mystery, a tragedy, and so much lore. I loved the way spirituality and lore are tied to a battle between good an evil, with the evil being from the side one would normally associate with good. This author has a way of tying these aspects together that make for an intriguing story. Claire was someone to root for from the start, and her tragic past gave her character a three dimensional quality, making it easy to get sucked into her story. The Archbishop was unsettling and added depth to the villainous side of the story. In general, I think the characters were very well done, and the story was intriguing. That all being said, I do think some of the descriptive writing could have been removed, as it sometimes distracted from the story.

This is a great addition to this series and really adds to it. The characters were fascinating to read about. They pasts Reay enhanced their characters and the journey they both go on was so interesting to watch. Their overall development are so much more to this story. The book is fast paced and action packed which made it exciting to read. This is brilliant new book to this series that I have thoroughly enjoyed.

This is the first book in a new paranormal vampire series. The series is likely to be 12 books long as there are 12 members of the Vampire Consulate around which these books are written. This is a new author to me as I’m just starting to read more paranormal books. I thoroughly enjoyed my first book by this author and already have books 2 & 3 in the series on my kindle waiting for me to devour. Salvatore Descallia is the Overmaster of the vampire consulate and is used to everyone doing as he asks without question. When he meets Lucianna Denaro, a police office with clairvoyant talents, he finally meets someone who is not afraid to say no to him and questions his authority. While this enrages him, he can’t help being fascinated and attracted to Lucianna (Luce). I loved the interactions between Luca and Salvatore. His continual attempts to dominate her and her disregard for his authority, makes for some fun reading. This is much more than just a paranormal romance, there is an intense and complicated background story running alongside the romance element and that makes this such an intriguing and entertaining read. I was really drawn into the story from the very beginning and, as the book leaves you with a taster of what’s coming next, can’t wait to read the next installment.

I really enjoyed this unique read. It’s a story I’ve never hear of before or have read anything like it. I love the author’s characters and how they are all relatable in some aspect. The idea of having the characters stuck in Limbo and trying to find their way to heaven/hell is a great read as they have to learn the reasons why they are there. All of the characters have a different story and different memories of their life but each one is on a journey to find the reason why they are stuck in Limbo.
Limbo is a little rundown town where people who have died ends up if they aren’t ready to go to heaven. Most of the people living there are their to find the reason why they were stopped from moving forward. As pleasant as Limbo is its only a very lonely place as the people try to get their way to heaven to be with their loved ones. But is there even such a place as heaven or is this place all there is when we die?

Tally and the Angel: Book Two, Canada by Eleanor Dixon continues the adventure we started in book one, following Tally and Jophiel as they brave their latest adventure. We met Tally when she inherited a necklace that contained wonderful surprise- finding the necklace housed an Angel, Jophiel- and they soon found themselves thrust on an adventure to save the day. Well, this book sees them set off on a new quest to break a curse in a race against time with life or death consequences. As with the first book, this is a fun Middle school age children’s story by Eleanor Dixon- a paranormal fantasy, with adventure, action, mystery, wolves, hunters, challenges, mythical beings, danger, drama, lots of detailed descriptions, and much more. This story may be aimed at a younger audience, but I feel it could be enjoyed by all ages. Happy reading.

I have to admit I just love paranormal magic themed books. I quie enjoyed this book and it is a great start to a new series. I like how the author has been able to have the right balance of adventure and drama. The whole story is set in a unique world. I was quite hooked from the get go.
I like how the main character has conflict and that it is character driven. I find that the author is able to draw the reader in and keep the interest. If you want a quick, easy, feel-good holiday read with a little steam, A Cold Creek Christmas (Reigning Hearts #5) is for you. This is a great one to fit in on your flight or drive heading over the river and through the woods….it’s not so complex that you have a ton of characters and details to remember. Perfect for when you only have a short time to read over your holiday break. I loved how Italian stallion Giovanni was able to help the heart of Amber, the town Grinch, grow three sizes. They hit it off quickly and there are a few steamy moments that might inspire your Christmas to be merry and bright.

Fall to Pieces is a story rooted in tragedy. This story takes you into the world of homicide detective Lexi Danvers, who’s focus lies on suspected child killer Authur Book. She is placed with a new partner Xavier Knight, who is secretly sent in from Internal Affairs, to determine is Lexi is fit for work or if her self destructive behavior after the loss of her husband is conflicting her ability to perform her duties as detective. This story is tragic, sad, and cruel, but in a wonderful way. The reader is thrust into a scene of a murdered 8 year old boy. As I read this scene, my own 8 year old son was sitting beside me and I felt the emotions so vividly. The author does a fabulous job of relaying such devastation in a manner where you do want to continue into this journey and discover who can be so cruel to harm such an innocent victim. The character of Authur Book was just manipulative, evil and vile as the author displayed this throughout the story with Lexi and Xavier’s mission to catch him and stop his menace on young victims. I definitely would recommend this book if you are willing to put your emotions on display and allow yourself to be thrust into such horrible, unimaginable situations that this book details. The author did a fabulous job of taking us on a journey that I hope and pray never to face in the real world.

5 Stars Embracing Jared (Thrill of the Chase, #3) by Anna Paige
Embracing Jared is the third book in the Thrill of the Chase series. I absolutely loved reading this book and found myself crying to the point of ugly crying a couple times. I’m a huge fan of Rock Star Romance and this one tops the list. The author did a wonderful job and her style of writing and attention to detail simply amazes me. Her characters are relatable very well written and I love them all. I found myself lost in the pages and couldn’t put it down. This is Madison and Jared’s story. He’s a Rock Star and has worked very hard to get where he’s at. He’s already lost so much along the way and is now trying to provide care for the only way he can. Madison is a caregiver and RN and cares for patients whose famlies seem to have forgotten about. She’s found herself in a situation with her current patient who has a son that wants daily updates through email she might have just lost her job. These two goodness gracious their chemistry is off the charts. Can Jared let Madison continue to care for his dad? Will Madison loose her heart along with everything because of him? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. Get ready to be taken on quite the emotional rollercoaster ride. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Holiday Hope is the first book in the Holiday Express series by Shanna Hatfield. I really enjoyed this delightful historical holiday romance. It is such a wonderfully woven story with endearing characters who I was immediately invested in, as well as the outcome of their story. But the story isn’t just a light and fluffy romance- it has plenty of depth, tension, angst, drama, danger, and emotion. This was nothing like I expected- but in the best possible way! Cora Lee finds herself alone in the world, struggling after the death of her beloved parents. She dreams of a better life- so takes a chance and answers an ad for a mail-order-bride. This sets her off on a cross-country journey to meet her perspective husband- only when she arrives at the station he is nowhere to be seen, sending his father to meet her instead. Cora Lee is warmly welcomed by the rest of her betrothed’s family and immediately feels like she has found ‘home’. But when her groom seems to want to avoid anything to do with her, Cora can’t help but wonder what is really going on. Throw in some train robbers, dramatic developments, danger, family, friendship, intrigue, mystery, and emotion- and this story becomes quite unputdownable! Ok from page one I was absolutely hooked on this story. You know the type of book that has you so captured you lose all track of time and the real world? That exactly how this story was for me. Once I started I simply couldn’t put it down. Kirsa right from the beginning had a piece of my heart and while there’s of course other characters and I liked them of course she’s the one who pulled me in so much. The storyline just spoke to me. High school is difficult for most but how heartbreaking is it when your best friends turn on you. I felt such a connection and I thank this author for such great characters. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking. Five big stars all the way and highly recommended!

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
Master Trentino first sees Angel while visiting her home on a job. There was something about Angel that calls to him and he ends up going back to the house where he finds that she had been shot and decides to save her by turning her.
As she comes into her new life Angel is also developing feelings for Master Trentino. He also feels the same way. Angel has the gift of speaking to the dead like her grandmother. Will she be able to use this gift to help Master Trentino and the other vampires?
Overall this was a great thrilling read with vampires, danger, magic, steamy moments and so much more. I did also have some LOL moments as well.The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. This can be read as a stand alone but I suggest reading from the beginning so you can get the full effect of all the characters. It’s been awhile since I have found a vampire series that pulls me in like this one has and I love it. 1-click and get started today.

This book is truly one of the best paranormal/shifter/ romance books that I have read this year. Having read the two previous installments, this one is by far my favorite and while I recommend that you read the first two you could read this as a standalone. This book was so engaging and written so smoothly that I couldn’t put it down, and I finished it in a couple of hours. This story is just packed with all of my favorite things including magic, shifters, mystery, romance, and of course a little drama for good measure. But the real question is fo you believe in destiny, or in soul mates? If you don’t this book might make you change your mind with how realistic these characters are.

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Piasa is a great read and I really hope to see more of the series. The Legends Series is fantastic and I’ll be looking for the first two.
Delta is daydreaming when her friend comes into the shop. Being a shaman isn’t everything it’s cracked up to be. The quote I chose for Delta is: “It’s nightmares. The night I almost died replays in my mind. I see many different scenarios on how it ended. I’ll get over it.”
Jackson is a Dragon shifter and is the last of his kind (from what I’ve gathered). His buddy shows up to tell Jax bad news. The quote I chose for Jackson is: “And where the hell are we, Noah –the fucking Bronx? We are in the middle of the goddamn Great Plains. And I know it’s possible because I killed him myself. And another thing – the damn thing has human-like characteristics because it possesses human beings. The wendigo is known to encourage the desire to cannibalize other humans, as well as the propensity to commit murder. You know that my ancestors were associated with them according to the folklore.”
Highly recommended for Native American Paranormal lovers.

This second installment is not only an amazing read but it’s engaging and funny as well. This book was such a wonderful read, the characters are realistic, and relatable, and made me laugh one more then one occasion in this installment. Piper keeps having dreams and has no idea what these dreams mean, but eventually she’s thrust into a world that she only thought existed in books. Noah is on a journey to see what’s going on in his town, but what will he find? Do Pipers dreams have a connection to the dark mystery surrounding Noah’s hometown? I’ve been on a holiday book kick these past months and this book has been one of my favorites. Amber is so funny and relatable. especially if Christmas isn’t your favorite. Gio is the Grandson of a local Italian store owner who is everyone’s Nona. Gio is a total heartthrob and from the moment he was introduced I was hooked. I highly recommend this novella. Curl up in a cozy blanket by the fireplace with some hot cocoa and crack open this wonder winter love story.

My school life was spent in a girls’ boarding-school specialising in classical ballet and on leaving I danced professionally, touring Europe, for 4 years. After that I ran my own ballet school in Athens, Greece and simultaneously volunteered as a veterinary nurse, as my love of animals is the driving force in my life. I returned to England with my horse and my cat, and now live on a smallholding in Shropshire with various farm animals and a constant stream of pets.
I started writing while in Greece and completed a Creative Writing Course with the Writers’ Bureau. The same year, I won an annual competition in the Writing Magazine for an adult Fairy Story.
On my return to England, I wrote two children’s books, but my new life, caring for Highland Cattle, sheep, hens and pets, coupled with extensive global travel, meant that writing for publication took a back seat. I continued my love of writing with a daily journal and amusing travel blogs of each trip.
I am now writing full time and working on two series: TALLY AND THE ANGEL and THE AMBERWOOD HALL BALLET SCHOOL.
My first published novel, THE GRACEFUL GHOST, part of the Amberwood Hall Series, draws on my own experiences in ballet-boarding-school and my early teenage life and is a story that has lived with me for many years. It was shortlisted for the UK Selfies Award 2021.

As usual with this author i loved this novella. I always say i want more even if its hundreds of pages but this one i really did want more but also this was perfect for this story. I did need to wipe a few tears away but this really got me more into the holiday spirit and to appreciate the family and traditions we seem to take for granted. I absolutely loved this story and this town this author has constructed.

My heart! Book 2 has all the emotions you could possibly feel all wrapped into it. I really appreciated all the details that made me feel like I was a part of the story. I’m so glad I didn’t have to wait long to read book 2. I really wondered what would happen. This is an excellently written book (both are) and I felt like I learned a little bit more about experiencing cancer. If you’re ready for a book with all the feels, then this duet is for you!
What a cute Christmas story! Amber has a complicated past that has made her want to avoid Christmas, which is difficult to do in festive Cold Creek. Giovanni moved to Cold Creek to take over his grandmother’s restaurant and make a home for his daughter. When Giovanni meets Amber, he is determined to change her feelings about the holidays.
I love feel good stories. Amber, Giovanni, and the people they are surrounded by are perfectly painted and easy to fall in love with! Their stories are built well and just complex enough to make them relatable. I was sucked right into Cold Creek and before I knew it, the book was ending and I was left wanting more. The ending made me cry happy tears!

OMG!! The twists! I was hooked from the very beginning of this book! & I can normally predict twists and endings of books but… I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!!! So good! Loved the characters. Loved the suspense. Loved everything about this book!

Cheryl is a woman who has had troubles in her life and regrets that she has held onto for a long time, mainly surrounding the man she left behind at twenty, the biker who whisked her away at the drop of the hat and whom she has never forgotten. She still thinks about the life they could have had of she had made a different decision, one that wasn’t based on the fact she was cold and homesick, but the years have passed and she has been more of a nomad than she would have liked, but with good reason and now she has ended up in Las Vegas.
She believed that she had all the time in the world to find the one, settle down, have a man by her side and the whole white picket fence, but instead she is thirty five, single and a Croupier at a small casino with a comfortable, of not perfect life. That all changes when the man she has held a candle for all this time one day turns up in that same casino, but what she sees is not what she expected in the least, yes she knew he was a biker, but now he is a member of an outlaw MC and not just that, he is the Prez, a man of authority and pride in his club!
As she slowly reconnects with the man she fell for, but thought she would never see again, she comes to realise that if they are to have a future together, that it would come with strings attached, mainly the other members of the MC he calls brothers and the fact that although they are law abiding, it isn’t the be all and end all like for her, as a civilian. Can Cheryl look past the leather cut and the MC life she is faced with, or will she leave again and never look back? Could she see herself with this association for the rest of her life, with an uncertain and possibly violent future, or will she be accepted and be able to live the dream she has long for all this time? This is an MC romance with suspense, secrets and revelations where hard decisions need to be made and consequences planned for, but with twists and turns throughout, you will race through the story as you will not want to put it down until you find out how it ends.
