This is a really cute kids book about becoming a big brother. I really enjoyed the focus on all of the positives of becoming an older sibling while sneaking in some fun “naughty” bits (like not eating your peas). The illustrations are nice and bright and they follow the story line well. This is the story of an older brother/younger brother combination so I feel that it is limited to that specific audience. Overall, I really liked the vibe of the story and the message. Reviewed by @meggs1717

We all wonder how our children will cope with a new baby intruding in the home that has been theirs for as long as they can remember. Will they welcome then or will it set them back. Well one way to introduce them is to read Hi Little Brother, I Love You: A Sweet Gift Keepsake Book Welcoming a New Baby Brother to the Family to them. It helps to prepare them for what’s to come. The bright and colourful illustrations by Imani Maco helps to bring the story to life. Not only does it help children, but it will also give parents ideas on helping a child with the arrival of a new baby into the home. This cute tale is full of sweetness and would be a great book for your home or as a gift.

What a sweet book. I loved how it is such a welcome story about a big brother welcoming his little brother into the family. Colorful illustrations make for pictures that will engage your child’s attention. The story is short, sweet and catchy. It’s just right to read to a child. My grandson and I enjoyed it for a bedtime story. We talked about his two younger brothers and how he felt when they joined the family.A sweet book that would be a lovely addition to family libraries.

A very well written, sweet book about sibling relationships. I just loved this book. It reminded me so much of my oldest granddaughter when her little sister was born and how she loved and cared for her, even down to singing to her. The illustration are very well done. A very quick and easy read for little ones who about to have a new little sibling if they are feeling anxious. Definitely recommend this book.

Bookbub -Hi Little Brother, I Love You by Deniese Dennis
A delightfully tender story celebrating the role of big brother and bonding with a new sibling.
Welcoming a new baby brother to the family is an exciting time of growth and transition. This book is great for preparing your ”not so little one” for the new role of big brother by promoting acceptance and participation in caring for a little brother.
In this charming book, big brother is extremely pleased to have a little brother and welcomes him with a kiss. From playing peek-a-boo to learning that cows go moo, big brother is great at showing the baby what to do. He not only helps to figure out the baby’s needs and teaches the baby to share, the biggest role of big brother is that he is always there, forever baby’s bestest friend.
This book is ideal for children 1-5 years. Its gorgeous illustrations capture the warm bond and friendship between older brother and baby brother. It highlights the joy and wonder in those tender moments that you will treasure forever.
It’s the perfect keepsake book to mark the start of a beautiful bond that will last a lifetime.

Hi Little Brother, I Love You by Deniese Dennis is a five star-heartfelt book, that I would highly recommend to any new “Big Brothers, or Big Brothers to be”. I loved that this book showcased what it means to be a big brother. I love that affection was shown in the form of hugs and kisses. I loved that there is a theme of sharing and protection. I also enjoyed that the book showcased how wonderful it can be to have a little brother. This book can be used to introduce the idea of a new baby brother coming into the family, and used as a reminder of what an important role a big brother has in the life of his little brother. This book would be a great gift that can be shared and read for years. I loved the illustrations, they were adorable, and colorful that will keep the attention of younger kids. I am excited to check out other books by Deniese to see if there are also big sister books too.
