Professor Valentine by Diana Vale was a really good read! It was very easy to read, and went very quickly, especially since it was a short page novella. While this book was really good, it was also predicable to me. I saw where it was going almost immediately, and so it felt a little boring. I enjoyed the writing style and easily became enraptured, I just wish the story itself had a little more in it, especially with how the book started out. I thought the beginning was hilarious! Overall though I really did enjoy this book and would definitely read more from this author in the future.

Professor Valentine: A Student-Teacher Contemporary Romance Novella is the first book in the Kirk University series by Diana Vale. This is the first book I have read by this author, and I look forward to reading more by her in the future. This is a short, steamy romance that was well written and flowed smoothly. I’ve been on a Novella kick lately and this was a good book that I read in one evening. Cassie and Diego are great characters with chemistry. This was an overall enjoyable book and I can’t wait to see how this new author grows in the next book in this series.

Professor Valentine is a student/teacher romance by Diana Vale. I love a forbidden story and this one was a cracker. Cassie is experiencing university life and enjoying every moment of it. Diego is her lecturer and soon becomes her obsession. Their attraction is fiery and intense. The forbidden element of their relationship is what I love the most. I love the taboo and cannot get enough of the genre. This little novella was a beauty and it was such a thrilling read. Diana Vale delivered a sexy story and I am really looking forward to reading more from this new to me author . 4 stars.

This quick forbidden love novella felt like it was over as soon as it started. Just a very quick read but not in a negative fashion. Easy to start and easy to finish. Vale is a new author to me and I found her writing to be well planned, easy to follow, and good character development.

Five Star

Professor Valentine is a story I needed. That forbidden love affair that shouldn’t be allowed but we can’t help that fall. That chemistry that is undeniably addictive. Cassie has a drive to get her through life but even she had to sit back when she went from wanting to just be a student to fighting love. We can’t help who we love or when our hearts tells us we are ready. I do but don’t understand why this type of relationship is forbidden. On one hand you have the potential to ruin a persons career. The other hand you have a young person with their whole life still ahead of them. The amount of power one holds over the other is a big factor as well. But they’re also consenting adults and unless one is forced into it I think it’s okay. I seriously enjoyed the story and need more. This is my first story by this author and I was impressed and intrigued by the plot.

Professor Valentine: A Student-Teacher Contemporary Romance Novella is the first book in the Kirk University series by Diana Vale. I had not previously read any of this author’s work so was unsure what to expect from this novella but I did enjoy it and devoured it all in one sitting.
For a long time I have been a huge sucker for a teacher/student romance. It’s a trope that I do enjoy and this book didn’t let me down. My one moan is that even though I knew it was a novella, I felt that it was all over too quickly. I’d really like to have gotten to know Cassie and Diego a lot more.
I did enjoy reading about Cassie and Diego’s growing relationship but I do feel that for a long time I felt that Cassie was much more invested in the relationship than Diego was. I may be wrong but that’s the feeling that I had for much of the book. It felt as though Cassie was practically begging Diego to have a relationship with her.
I did however enjoy reading the book and would definitely read more of this author’s work.

4-stars

Professor Valentine is a great romance read, one that I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish, I found it surprisingly easy to connect with the characters given that it’s a novella, there was plenty of detail and backstory that helped the characters feel real and had me invested from the beginning.

I really enjoyed how well rounded this story was and while I don’t usually like the push and pull aspects of relationships, I ended up really liking it in this story, it seemed to add so much for me and really added to the story making it feel all the more raw and real.

Overall, I loved everything about this novella and I look forward to reading more from this new to me author in the near future.

This is a forbidden romance with an age gap. Teacher student.
This is the first book I have written by Ms. Vale and I enjoyed it. It was well written and captured the boldness of Cassandra really well. Cassandra being a strong young woman in her freshman year at university is embarking on a world of unknowns but she does know she has a thing for professor Valentine.
Diego Valentine is going through a messy divorce. He has never had anything untoward any student, but there is just something about Cassie.
Will they be able to ignore their feelings?
This book is not very long and will be worth the read.

Wow, this novella starts extreme and does not stop. I absolutely love that this was set in London. I love any books set there; they bring a certain magic to the page. Probably because it’s different than what I am used to. Cassie is 18-year-old freshmen in university that has a crush on her hot new lecturer, Diego. It is definitely a forbidden romance; I mean it’s there in the title. I was apprehensive about starting this novella, but by the end I was okay with how most things went and ended. I like how Diana Vale wrote her two main characters. Cassie wanting to be seen as an adult, grown up now that she is in University, just like most people her age. Diego struggling with life choices and feelings, the past as well. like most people in the world.

Diego already has a reputation before I even entered the university. Ableit can be a bit slow at times however, after a few chapters the pace of the story gets better. What happens when Cassandra falls for him. I wish it was longer in all honesty.

Professor Valentine: A Student Teacher Contemporary Romance Novella by Diana Vale is the first book in the Kirk University series. This is a pretty quick and easy read that will help pass a relaxing afternoon.
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I certainly found it to be enjoyable. I liked the fact that it was an easy read and something that I didn’t have to think too much about. The story was well written and had some pretty steamy scenes. I was quite as taken with the characters like I hoped I would be. I didn’t quite connect with them throughout the book. However that being said it didn’t really take away from my enjoyment and I would be willing to read more from this author in the future. Overall this is an entertaining book worth reading.

Professor Valentine: A Student-Teacher Contemporary Romance Novella (Kirk University Book 1) by Diana Vale

Diana wove a lovely coming of age romance that made for a quick read! Her descriptions and real life feel of University life transported this reader across the ocean to England; back to the good old college days! Diana certainly has a way with words and paints such a clear picture that I could practically feel the cool breeze, hear the boisterous nightlife, and maybe yearn a little for Professor Valentine’s hot breath on my neck… As a midwestern lady from the States I found her British slang endearing and loved her characters all the more for it! Young adult readers will certainly feel a connection and understanding to the characters that I’m sure will have them hooked on Vale’s books to come! If the character connection doesn’t hook them, her classy steamy scenes will! Professor Valentine was a great light read and I look forward to seeing what Vale comes up with next!

Professor Valentine: A Student-Teacher Contemporary Romance Novella is the first book in the Kirk University series by Diana Vale.

This is my first time reading anything by this author, and I very much enjoyed this novella. It was a quick read that I read in an evening. The characters are sweet and well throughout, and they keep you wanting more. The story follows Cassandra (Cassie) who is a psychology student in her first year at the fictional Kirk University. She doesn’t intend to fall for her professor but just can’t keep away. The book is filled with romance and chemistry, and a fun take on what student life can be like.
I enjoyed this first book in the series, and look forward to seeing where the author takes us next.

I love a forbidden romance story so when I read the synopsis for this book I was really looking forward to reading it and overall I really enjoyed it, I guess it was a little predictable in parts and it was a short read but nevertheless I still liked it. Professor Valentine definitely had the sexy teacher vibe going on so I can see why Cassie fell for him!!
I am really looking forward to seeing where the author takes this series!

This book gets intense fast to say the least. Cassie is a 18 year old that has a crush on her hot hunky teacher, and doesn’t know how to go about getting him. Where as Diego is her teacher and isn’t allowed to do anything about It. It plays up the forbidden romance well and makes you invested in the story. He thinks she should be living the college life with her friends, going out drinking every night. But she has other plans, she wants to be considered mature and try’s to show him that she is.

Nice short read. This story was nice, I was excited to see Cassie, a student and Diego, a professor starting a flirtation. Cassie started getting on my nerves unfortunately, basically begging Diego to make it work, but then again Diego wasn’t much better lying to Cassie. The lie was sweet though, he was only trying to protect her. The ending came up fast and I was pleased with how everything turned out for them both. The only downside, everything seemed to move a little too fast for me, but still a worthy read.

This is a short romance story about a student and professor who fall for each other. This is a new author for me, I look forward to reading more from her in the future. This is a well rounded story about Cassie. She is a student at Kirk University who has a determination to play hard and work harder. Romance is the last thing she expects or wants right now. As she spends time with her professor Valentine, feelings start growing. They have an attraction to each other but will they act on it? What will happen with these two? Will she get more from the professor than she ever expected? I enjoyed their chemistry together. They were so sweet together. I enjoyed what they brought to the story. I highly recommend reading their story.

Professor Valentine: A Student-Teacher Contemporary Romance Novella (Kirk University Book 1) by Diana Vale is a quick read. The story is a look at the lives of young adults trying to find themselves and how to fit into the new life at university. With your typical excitement and angst, crushes and fun, romance and everything in between.

Diego Valentine is a good looking, drool worthy Professor and all the girls crush on him.

She is forbidden fruit but neither can look the other way.

Professor Valentine: A Student-Teacher Contemporary Romance is the first book in the Kirk University series, and debut novel by Diana Vale. It is also a novella- which makes for a very quick and easy read.
As the title would suggest, the story is a new adult contemporary student-teacher romance- with some drama, angst, and gives a great snapshot of university life.
What happens when 18 year old Cassandra Rodriguez, a psychology student and freshman at Kirk University, falls for her professor? No spoilers from me, you will have to read the story for yourself to find out what happens.
This was an easy read- but I did have trouble connecting with Cassie and Diego- which made it more difficult for me to fully appreciate this story. But, maybe I was just having an off reading day, so I ill reserve my final judgement and see I am interested in reading the rest of the series to see where we go from here.

Thank you, Diana Vale.
