Encounters With Old Coyote by Laura Koerber- 4 out of 5 stars

I love how this book goes from one end of the script and then flips it on Andrea. From skeptic of afterlife to being a ghost in the afterlife. She and her new found friend begin to share stories as she slowly comes to terms with her death. I am beyond jealous of all the traveling she has done but it made for a good book. I recommend this book.

I love the techniques that are shown throughout this book on different ways children bond with their pet. It really showcases that unbreakable bond that can be formed. A fun educational book and a great learning tool for first time pet owners. I found the illustrations to be very vibrant and beautifully colored as well. I highly recommend this book.

Wicked Ends: A Dark College Bully Romance (Hidden Valley Elite) by Isla Vaughn- 5 out of 5 stars

This is the final book in the the Hidden Valley Elite series. What an amazing end to this knock-out series! This author truly put their all into the characters, with their intrigue and personalities all being so unique; I love how all of these books can be read as stand alones just as well as back to back. Winter and Shane faced their own ghosts, healed from their past traumas, and steamed things up between the two of them. This book was very hard to put down. I highly recommend reading this book.

My first read from this author and I am pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It revolves around an 11 year old named Sparky who is accused of murder. Sparky has to stay undercover to be able to clear her name, but can she do it? I love books that are in a historical setting but this one has a great storyline and attention to detail as well. This is such an emotional read. I felt as if I truly got to know Devorah through her own eyes. I connected to her more through the trauma and I wanted to hold her during the abusive relationship. That is when you know a book is written well. When you want to jump in and protect or defend your choice character. Bravo! I recommend this book.

This was such a great read! Sloan’s journey was both captivating and deeply emotional, making it impossible for me to want to put this book down. A mythical land that was cursed and is suffering a plague that kills people as they stand. The magic of the moon is so captivating, that, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look at our moon the same. The second half of the book half really picked up pace and swept me up away in the whirl wind of adventure. It was all so fantastic! I highly recommend!
